thank you for writing for me! Right from the start, I want to say you don’t have to do anything with my prompts, they’re just there in case you want some ideas. If it has my pairing and avoids my DNWs and perhaps even includes a free form tag, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it! All ratings are fine. I included a list of my general likes and smut likes which apply to all my requests.

Feel free to entirely erase the existence of canon relationships or break them up if they get in the way of the pairings I requested, whichever works best with what you’re trying to do.

Fic where the couple is not yet together but clearly in love, or on the road to getting together, or having their first time kissing/in bed together are great. However, so are established relationship fics. Whatever suits your ideas!

Considering the number of canons I have where you slaughter your way through untold heaps of NPCs, I should also point out I generally have no problem with gore, blood, and graphic violence. For vampires and assorted undead, blood drinking and cannibalism are fine, too.

Mycroft Holmes/Greg Lestrade (hurt Greg Lestrade)
I have liked this pairing for years, even though it is virtually untraceable in canon except for a couple brief moments and a lot of slashy assumptions. I enjoy that Greg already knows how to handle geniuses and Mycroft could need that; and that Mycroft could make Greg his very favourite goldfish. I feel like they could really lean on each other eventually and appreciate each other as people, despite their vast difference in pure intellect, since Greg seems to have an emotional intelligence to make up for it. To avoid my infidelity DNW, Greg should already be separated from his wife if they have a relationship (but feel free to move the moment of the divorce around in the timeline if it suits you better for him to have separated ten years earlier or something).

I’d like it if Greg drinking to cope weren’t full-blown alcoholism yet, but maybe after the divorce or Sherlock’s ‘death’, Greg is starting to go to unhealthy coping mechanisms and Mycroft catches on. Or maybe it’s not really a pattern, but just one night after a really bad case that he gets completely drunk and Mycroft has to have him hauled to his own home to make sure he doesn’t suffocate on his own bile during the night. Mycroft caring about drunk Greg (drunken confessions and flirting welcome! But so is a more sombre take with Greg talking about the things he’s sad about) and/or the morning after would be great; or Mycroft just sitting Greg down and making him talk about why he’s turning to booze.

Greg throwing himself in the way of a bullet for Mycroft, or fighting off an assassin and getting hurt, or anything along those lines would be great (alternatively, it could also be to protect Sherlock, which will be just as important to Mycroft as his own life). Just Greg being badass, even if he gets hurt for it. Perhaps it’s what forces Mycroft to finally acknowledge his feelings?

Greg getting tortured, perhaps after being kidnapped for being Mycroft’s partner, and refusing to budge and give anything away even when it gets really rough. Perhaps Mycroft thinks afterwards it’s best they break up to protect him and Greg has to talk him down from that particular ledge. It could also be this happened just because of his professional connection to Mycroft and/or Sherlock and they’re not dating yet, but Mycroft is very impressed/charmed by his hardiness. Also, Mycroft avenging him (if only by telling Greg in an off-hand remark how he has the whole of some secret service on their tail) would be fun.

Mycroft is a genius, I’m sure if he had to, he could figure out how to clean/treat some wounds in a pinch. Hell, he does seem like he has seen at least a little active duty, much as he dislikes it. Greg, who probably thought Mycroft would be way too squeamish, being unexpectedly charmed (or turned on because of a competence kink) by this new development would also be great.

A difficult pregnancy or childbirth for an mpreg scenario could just bring manifold scenarios. Perhaps Greg has been having a hard time with it, but saw Mycroft was busy and didn’t want to bother him as long as it wasn’t critical. This could end in premature labour (though please make sure the kid is fine!) or just general discomfort. Or he thinks he’ll have to give birth to this kid alone, but Mycroft grabbed a flight from the other half of the world to be with him.

Generally, I don’t think Greg would bother Mycroft about much. He seems kind of used to toughing it out, and besides, you’re not going to complain about your shitty day at the office to a man who just prevented a war between the U.S. and Russia while you were squabbling with your boss or worrying about a string of robberies in Southwark. As such, I could see him hiding his exhaustion, general concerns, and perhaps even smaller illnesses, until something spills over and perhaps he passes out after working too long into the night, or gets hurt because he was tired/sick on the job and got clocked by a criminal. But perhaps they also aren’t together yet and this behaviour is what finally convinces Mycroft to meddle in Greg’s affairs.

Hypothermia is its own prompt in my world, tbh. I’d just love to see Greg get carefully warmed up by Mycroft.

A feverish or drugged Greg confesses his attraction to Mycroft in his daze; or, if they’re in a relationship, laying bare his insecurities, wondering if Mycroft will actually stay with him, considering he must seem like a simpleton to Mycroft.

After his divorce, Greg just really misses a friendly human touch. He’d love it most from Mycroft, but it’s not like that would ever happen, right... ? Perhaps Mycroft tells himself at first he’s only touching Greg more to keep him on track so Greg can keep helping Sherlock, since people like Greg seem to need that sort of thing. Or it’s a very deliberate seduction.

Feel free to sprinkle a dash of Greg pining and and being unhappy over his (supposedly) unrequited love over all these prompts where they’re not together already.

Haytham Kenway/Charles Lee (hurt Charles Lee)
I've always loved Charles’ devotion to Haytham and Haytham bemused reaction to meeting this guy in full “senpai notice me” mode. However, I also very much enjoy how their relationship grows to where Haytham genuinely respects and likes Charles. They may be bad guys, but they really care for each other.

Charles getting captured and tortured or severely beaten up/left for dead by rogue Templars/Assassins/soldiers from a rival army he’s currently fighting. Haytham saves him and nurses him back to relative health, and perhaps also takes care of the perpetrators.

Charles becoming injured to save Haytham, either by catching a bullet or through some other measure in the middle of a fight, or even by drawing the enemies’ attention on himself, would be great.

I just want Haytham gently cleaning and bandaging Charles’ wounds after a bad fight (does Charles briefly consider getting stabbed more often if it gets him this sort of attention?).

Charles was kinda good at starting fights, even historically, so there could be a fic where he pissed off some dangerous people who rape him as punishment. Alternatively, he got into conflict with members of a rogue branch of the Templars they were hunting or even some less-than-good OC Assassins (I doubt any of the canon Assassin characters in that game would) who do that to him. Maybe it was even to punish Haytham through it, since everyone knows Charles is Haytham’s favourite. Does Charles tell Haytham rightaway or is he ashamed (and are they together or not at that point)? Either way, Haytham will probably eventually find out and go on a bloody rampage, perhaps with Charles in tow, since he would likely be as happy to put some heads on spikes as Haytham.

Alternatively, Charles and Haytham get captured together and their captors decide to torture or rape Charles in front of Haytham to break one or both of them. Maybe Haytham is allowed to hold him thorough or at least hold his hand, kind of to make it even worse. The aftermath of that would be great, them getting their revenge, but also Haytham comforting Charles, who probably tries to hide how shaken he is and is ashamed of what Haytham saw (perhaps with Charles also trying to comfort Haytham, who may be quite traumatised himself).

If it’s A/B/O or Charles got pregnant via a Piece of Eden or for some other handwavy reason, I would love for him to have a pregnancy that’s a bit difficult, or that he makes difficult by trying to still perform to the same standards as before even when he’s got his belly in the way. Haytham sits him down and makes him relax a bit. Also, Haytham helping Charles through the birth, maybe while they’re cut-off in enemy territory or stuck somewhere in a hut in deep snow would be great; but also, just Haytham being in the room while Benjamin Church helps deliver the kid under less dramatic circumstances (but moments of “oh God we’re losing the kid” and “oh God we’re losing Charles” are always appreciated – though no deaths should actually occur, please).

Charles hides some illness or deep exhaustion from Haytham because he doesn’t want to seem weak (would work really well when he’s still trying to get into the Templars, but also later). Eventually, it takes him off his feet, though, and he collapses. Haytham makes sure he gets rest and care while probably also rebuking him for his silence on the matter.

Things like pneumonia are still scary now, but they were quite terrifying back in those days, since you could easily die from it. Haytham being worried out of his mind about Charles going through the worst of it and perhaps teetering on the brink of death for a bit would be great. Perhaps it’s the push Haytham needs to make his feelings known?

On the other hand, Charles being so delirious with fever or medicine that he finally spills all his feelings for Haytham.

Charles is an inveterate military man and was raised to be so. He’s probably not really used to people fussing about him when he’s sick/wounded. Just something sweet with Haytham caring about him while he’s laid up in bed with an illness or wound would be nice, Charles’ just being in love while Haytham spoils him a bit.

Haytham warming Charles up after he’s almost frozen solid in a bad storm.

Charles pining his heart away after Haytham, and hurting as he’s then the one who even leads him to Ziio, or just generally being sad Haytham doesn’t seem to be into men would be fun. Haytham proving him wrong would be even better.

Ratonhnhaké:ton | Connor/Clipper Wilkinson (hurt Clipper Wilkinson)
Connor and Clipper are unbearably cute and I love them together. Whether it’s a young infatuation right after they met in Boston or something grown out of long years of companionship in the Brotherhood, perhaps even set after the game, all is good.

Clipper getting hurt protecting Connor would be awesome. Usually, Connor doesn’t need it, because he has Protagonist Power, after all, but maybe it’s when he’s still recovering from the fight with Lee, or maybe there were just too many enemies to keep an eye on and so Clipper ends up taking a bullet or blade for him.

After a dangerous mission, Connor patches Clipper up and Clipper is just dying over having Connor touch him all over.

A/B/O or Piece of Eden pregnancy or whatever you like, as long as Clipper ends up pregnant (and hurting). Perhaps he has to go out on an unavoidable dangerous mission to save someone and gets wounded, or the pregnancy is just pretty hard on him in general. Or maybe he has a lot of trouble with the birth and it seems kinda touch-and-go for a while for both him and the child. Connor is there to help him through it and patch him up.

Clipper gets captured by Templars (OC ones, please, I like most of the named Templars too much) or Redcoats and raped, and now he has to tell Connor – or Connor finds out on his own or from one of their Assassin friends if Clipper can’t bring himself to say it. Connor avenging him, but also Connor trying his best to comfort him would be great.

Perhaps Connor was also around for it, also captured, and raping Clipper or torturing him was really just a way to get at Connor, which makes Connor feel terrible. They escape and try to heal together.

Clipper gets tortured for information (again, by Templar OCs or Redcoats or whomever) but refuses to give it up, especially if it in any way concerns Connor. Maybe he manages to slip away or Connor saves him, but either way he ends up bleeding severely on Connor’s doorstep.

Clipper has always been pretty self-sufficient. With as many brothers as he has, there was never all that much attention on him, and he made his own way into the world early. I could see him simply not being used to being cared about and falling even deeper in love with Connor for it.

Clipper wants to be a strong Assassin like Connor and hides an injury or illness because he doesn’t want to disappoint him, or because they’re on a mission and he doesn’t want to make it harder. This predictably doesn’t go all that well and eventually he overexerts himself and passes out or collapses. Connor takes care of him and reassures him this subterfuge really isn’t needed.

Clipper falling ill with a strong fever or pneumonia, so much so that it’s not sure he’ll survive for a while, and Connor caring about him sounds amazing. But also, Clipper being so gone with the illness or the drugs given to him to help that he confesses his love for Connor (or, if you want to go a slightly more fun route, if he’s not deathly ill he could also say some embarrassing things about what he wants to do with Connor in the bedroom).

Clipper gets lost in a snow storm or falls in a freezing river or something and Connor has to save him from hypothermia.

Clipper suffering from pining over Connor and then having that worry taken when Connor somehow makes his own attraction known would be great.

Ezio Auditore da Firenze/Leonardo da Vinci (hurt Leonardo da Vinci)
Ezio and Leonardo are such an amazing pairing. Whether you go with the timeline of the first game, when Ezio is still wilder, or the second game, when they’re both older and and perhaps even a tad wiser, I love the trust they place in each other and their banter and friendship.

Usually, Ezio is the one who protects Leonardo – at least physically – , but perhaps he is already wounded, or they’re in a fight and Leonardo spots an arrow or blade strike coming towards Ezio that Ezio missed and throws himself in front of him.

Alternatively, Leonardo’s protection of Ezio might be more subtle than that. He did already get one beating in the game for helping Ezio, maybe it happened more often and Ezio wasn’t around for Leonardo to ask for help. Maybe a Templar or guard who doesn’t care super much about the cause blackmails Leonardo into having sex or they’ll give up what they gleaned about Ezio’s and their relationship. Ezio eventually finding out and saving Leonardo would be great.

Leonardo could also be dragged away and tortured (or tortured through rape, if you want to go a noncon route) to extract information from him about Ezio – which Leonardo would never give, of course. Perhaps Ezio is even forced to watch or hold Leonardo as it happens. He could also just come save him. However, I would also like a severely beaten-up Leonardo showing up in Monteriggioni asking for protection and Ezio caring about him before going out to bring hell to the people who mistreated Leonardo.

A/B/O or Piece of Eden pregnancy or some other reason men can get pregnant all sound good. Ezio is on the go a lot, so him returning to Leonardo having a hard time with the pregnancy or having been attacked and dealing with the wounds sounds nice. Also, Ezio helping Leonardo give birth in a bad spot, where they can’t get at a doctor or someone else who might have experience.

Hypothermia is a bit more difficult to achieve in Italy than other places, but hey, it gets winter there, too, and perhaps Leonardo dropped/was pushed into a canal or something and is slowly freezing until Ezio finds him/he finds Ezio in the cold weather. Or perhaps it’s just unusually cold and Leonardo gets caught out in a storm.

Leonardo falls ill with pneumonia or some other illness that back then was quite likely to bring you pretty close to the grave and Ezio refuses to leave his bedside and is just being very worried and caring.

Feverish Leonardo confesses how much he really loves Ezio or kisses him. Ezio hopes that he still has that opinion when he’s of sound mind again.

Leonardo has a crush on Ezio, but considering what a lady’s man Ezio is, he has no hopes that anything will ever come of it and he’s quite sad about it. Perhaps Ezio finally realises what Leonardo meant in that scene in Brotherhood ("women provide little distraction") and does something about it (he can also get a clue earlier).

Vampyr

Jonathan Reid/Sean Hampton (hurt Sean Hampton)
This is still the romance option I wanted. Jonathan and Sean seemed to get along quite well before the whole Skal tragedy started, and they’re both in the business of healing and helping people, in a way.

Some baddies have captured Sean – Ascalon Club, rogue Ekons, hunters, and so on – and rape him. If they’ve captured Jonathan and Sean both, I could even see a scenario where Sean offers himself up when it’s between him and Jonathan, first because of course he would want to protect his lover/friend, second maybe because he figures he can stand up better to the trauma, since he went through it before. Bonus for Jonathan eventually avenging him, but also for him helping Sean as a doctor and as his lover (or potential lover, perhaps they’re not quite together yet).

You could also have Sean beat up or tortured for info by the aforementioned list of baddies, since a lot of people are probably interested in the powerful newborn Ekon Jonathan who caused such a stir. However, Sean would never give up anything. Feel free to go hard with the injuries, since Sean is a Skal and can technically come back from just about anything. Maybe he can’t even walk in through the Pembroke front door afterwards because he’s missing whole chunks of flesh and has bones sticking out, which would have already killed a human.

Sean could also throw himself in the fight to help a wounded Jonathan. Dude turns into a pretty high-level feral Skal with shadow clones when you leave him to the blood of hate, so he could probably at least hold his own for a bit, long enough for Jonathan to recover, but he’s also not someone used to fighting and might get pretty banged up.

Whether he got beat up/nonconned by vampires, gangs, or whatever else, Sean would be the type of person to hide his pain because he has his flock to care about, after all, and he doesn’t want to worry Jonathan, either. Hell, this doesn’t even have to be about a non-canonical injury. Perhaps being held hostage by William or turning into a vampire left him a whole lot more distressed than he tries to show people. Jonathan is there to help regardless.

Pregnancy and child-birth in the Vampyr universe are exceedingly painful (whether Sean is pregnant because of some handwave Skal biology thing or because of A/B/O), a short pregnancy culminating in the baby tearing its way out of the body of its carrier. Jonathan helping Sean through it all would be great. I doubt they planned a baby, but it’d be nice if they are happy to have it regardless. (If you’d rather write a normal pregnancy, that note the info comes from seemed to be about Ekons, anyway, so perhaps for Skals it’s all different! Or there’s other, new, exciting kinds of body horror for Skals. Take your pick!)

Sean got hurt so badly he’s not quite lucid. This opens the gate for him telling Jonathan all manner of things he never would have said before, so Jonathan is working on him trying to be a good doctor while Sean confesses his love or something.

Skals don’t seem to heal as well as Ekons, so it might be worth it to bandage them up sometimes. Sean thinks it’s kind of a waste unless he’s bleeding through his clothes, which might make his flock worry, since it’s not like he’ll die from it or anything. However, Jonathan is quite happy to care for him and insists.

Perhaps Sean eventuually opens up a little about the noncon he went through canonically. He has talked it over with God, but likely not with too many others, and perhaps he feels comfortable enough now (or he wants to do it to explain some reaction he had during sex/intimacy). Jonathan is probably grateful for the trust, considering he sorta kinda used that whole ordeal against Sean before.

A lot of people like Sean, but he never really goes to them for comfort, physical or otherwise, since he doesn’t want to place a burden on them. It’s his flock, after all, they shouldn’t have to look after the shepherd. It might be a nice experience for him to have Jonathan there to care about him now.

Sean is very busy at the shelter, with his two flocks and the flu still around and so many people back wounded (mentally and physically) from the war. Eventually his energy is sapped, but he still wants to help. Jonathan has to sit him down and make sure he doesn’t continue running on fumes.

Sean probably hasn’t ever had a relationship and not too many people cuddle a saint. Even small things like a touch on his cheek, a peck, a hug will be really special to him. Jonathan noticing it and indulging it would be nice, as well as Sean trying to device ways to get more affection from his partner (even though he could just ask).

Geoffrey McCullum/Sean Hampton (hurt Sean Hampton)
These two are so different, yet they are both protectors at heart. I like all sorts of timelines/universes for them – Geoffrey still being human, having been turned by Jonathan, or having been turned by Arthur’s blood. They could even get together before the start of the game when they’re both still human.

Sean got hurt so badly he’s not quite lucid. This opens the gate for him telling Geoffrey all matter of things he never would have said before, so Geoffrey is trying to get him right while Sean confesses his love or something.

Skals don’t seem to heal as well as Ekons, so it might be worth it to bandage them up sometimes. Sean thinks it’s kind of a waste unless he’s bleeding through his clothes, which might make his flock worry, since it’s not like he’ll die from it or anything. However, Geoffrey insists.

Perhaps Sean opens up a little about the noncon he went through canonically. He has talked it over with God, but likely not with too many others, and perhaps he feels comfortable enough now (or he wants to do it to explain some reaction he had during sex/intimacy). Geoffrey might not be the softest person, but he’s there to listen and help.

A lot of people like Sean, but he never really goes to them for comfort, physical or otherwise, since he doesn’t want to place a burden on them. It’s his flock, after all, they shouldn’t have to look after the shepherd. It might be a nice experience for him to have Geoffrey there to care about him now.

Sean is very busy at the shelter, with his two flocks and the flu still around and so many people back wounded (mentally and physically) from the war. Eventually his energy is sapped, but he still wants to help. Geoffrey has to sit him down and make sure he doesn’t continue running on fumes.

Sean probably hasn’t ever had a relationship and not too many people cuddle a saint. Even small things like a touch on his cheek, a peck, a hug will be really special to him. Geoffrey might pick up on it and indulge him; or Sean tries to device ways to get more affection from his partner (even though he could just ask).

Boromir (Son of Denethor II)/Aragorn | Estel (hurt Aragorn | Estel)
I love to think what would have become of their relationship if Boromir had survived to see Aragorn rise to the throne. Arranged marriage is of course very convenient for this pairing and I love that trope, so go for it if you want to; but I would also like to see the relationship between Aragorn and his steward grow naturally into something more.

Even as Strider, Aragorn was taking responsibility for people, protecting them, and now he’s leading from the very front. I’m sure if something happened to him that shook him – I’m open to anything here, perhaps very intense torture or even noncon at the hand of enemies – he would find it his duty to try to brush it off and go on, and he would probably be able to push through somehow. However, Boromir notices something is off and thinks as Aragorn’s husband/lover/steward, it’s his duty to find out what is wrong with him and then comforts him and gives him a chance to speak when Aragorn finally opens up.

Aragorn getting injured to protect Boromir in a fight, or offering himself up to their enemies who want to rape one of them, and the aftermath of such an event would be great. Boromir would probably feel horribly guilty and worthless (still fighting with self-esteem issues of his own weakness around the Ring) even while he tries to pick Aragorn up; and Aragorn tries to dust himself off and assure him it’s all alright, but he is more shaken than he pretends.

Boromir patching Aragorn up after a fight or assassination attempt would be really sweet. The healer king needs a little healing himself.

Whether through A/B/O or Dúnadain blood or elf magic or whatever you can think of, Aragorn is pregnant with Boromir’s child. Maybe it’s not an easy pregnancy and Boromir convinces him to slow down a bit, or maybe Aragorn just has to spend some time in bedrest and is fretting that he’s letting his people down being out of commission already and Boromir calms him down. Boromir helping him with the birth or at least being around for it and holding his hand (perhaps against what is considered decent by the culture of Gondor) would be great.

Aragorn is so badly wounded or weakened from sickness that he needs help with bathing, and since he’s somewhat embarrassed to ask the servants and would rather risk falling, Boromir decides (either because they have an arranged marriage or because he’s his steward) that he should help his stubborn king. Mutual pining (and resolution!) while Boromir helps him wash would be amazing.

Aragorn has always dealt with things by himself when he was out in the wilderness, so having someone there to care about him when he’s sick is a novelty he has to get used to, but which he starts to really enjoy.

In his eagerness to prove himself as worthy of the crown and undo the damage already done by the enemy, Aragorn is working pretty much day and night. Boromir convinces him to slow down a little. Perhaps Aragorn is even already ill, which he was keeping quiet about, but underestimated the sickness and even passes out. Again, Boromir is there to collect him and make sure he gets some rest.

If Aragorn has a fever, this could lead to accidental love confessions. Either Boromir is his steward, or they are already married for reasons of politics and Aragorn voices his disappointment and sadness that during the time they’ve been married, he’s failed to make Boromir love him as he loves Boromir (spoiler alert: Boromir loves him).

Genji Shimada/Tekhartha Zenyatta (hurt Tekhartha Zenyatta)
These two are such a sweet pairing. I love every timeline for them: when Genji is still his hurting, wounded self from his time at Blackwatch, the inbetween stages at the monastery, but also when he has recovered and found peace and the two of them could be wandering the world together.

Zenyatta is tortured, either by anti-omnic people that he runs into, or by Yakuza(-adjacent) criminals who are going after him because they want to get at Genji. Genji is Not Happy, but probably also learned enough to remember that revenge comes second after making sure Zenyatta is okay. Also would love for Zenyatta to be really worried even as Genji pieces him back together that Genji might get himself in trouble later and trying to talk him down.

Zenyatta bodyblocking for Genji so he can get off his dragon blade! Sometimes, that’s part of a support’s job, too. Ok, game mechanics jokes aside, yes, Zenyatta becoming hurt so Genji doesn’t would be great. Perhaps it’s the first watershed moment in his relationship with Blackwatch Genji, or it’s later when they wander together.

We don’t know what Zenyatta did before he became a monk. Perhaps Genji finds out that he used to be a pleasure bot, property of a brothel or something along those lines, probably a cheap one, too, since he’s a pretty basic standard model, so his treatment was likely not very good. They could meet a former owner or customer or something. Zenyatta is not happy about Genji knowing, and while he has found his peace, he may never have felt like he could truly talk about that time with anyone. Genji offers him the opportunity. This could be sweet with present time!Genji, but also with a more prickly Blackwatch Genji, who unexpectedly seems to react better to Zenyatta afterwards because he now feels protective of him.

Zenyatta is himself a healer, spiritual and otherwise, and not really used to being cared about. Especially his relationship with Genji was always one-way in that direction, since Genji needed his support and help. I could see him even downplaying his own problems and hurts as to not threaten that connection and overburden Genji. However, Genji has grown quite strong and does want to help Zenyatta, too (especially if they’re lovers or on the way to becoming lovers, and Genji is a little frustrated Zenyatta won’t let him do what a partner should).

Zenyatta gets hurt rather badly, perhaps hit with a virus or too many bullets, and as he’s scrambling to reassemble all his processes, his voice unit starts leaking all sorts of confidential information buried in the deepest folders of his mainframe: how he has fallen in love with Genji but won’t admit to it because he’s afraid of losing his friendship or, if this is earlier into their relationship when Genji is still more vulnerable, of abusing his power as his spiritual guide over Genji. Genji hopes fervently those thoughts weren’t glitches because he wants Zenyatta, too.

Zenyatta getting hurt in some way and Genji carrying him to safety, or just generally staying glued by his side while he’s still unconscious, basically being super worried and probably driving whatever monk or Overwatch healer is trying to put him back together insane, would be great. When Zenyatta boots back up, he could also attempt to comfort Genji and calm him down.

Since Zenyatta connects more as a monk-type person to people, he’s actually not very used to being touched. Since he’s mostly made out of raw metal, people also don’t think he would appreciate it, anyway. But Genji finds the nodes and cables and pressure points that can register touch, and Zenyatta just enjoys it immensely.

Corvo Attano/Samuel Beechworth (hurt Samuel Beechworth)
I just really enjoy the relationship between Samuel and low chaos Corvo (though the tension between him and high chaos Corvo is also great, but since I’m wimpy, I have never played this way and don’t know that dynamic as well – but if you want to go for it, feel free to!). I know some people headcanon Corvo as mute and you can write him that way or just as a very tight-lipped dude, I like both.

Corvo is the fighter between them, but Samuel is willing to stick his neck out for him if need be. He could get in a fight while waiting for him after a mission with his boat and get roughed up, or perhaps he pushes Corvo out of the way of an attacker and takes a hit himself.

Something where he gets targeted for helping Corvo, perhaps after the game, or during the game when one of the conspirators pulls him aside and beats him bloody to intimidate him. However, Samuel downplays it, since he knows Corvo has other stuff to worry about right now, like keeping the whole Empire standing. Corvo, however, is not amused about his ally (and lover or crush) getting hurt because of him.

Samuel is sick and hides/downplays it because he knows more important stuff is going on. Corvo still finds time to care about him even between his important duties during the game. Or, after the game, he’s very happy to take Samuel in and give him the best care the palace can offer.

Samuel doesn’t catch the rat plague, but pneumonia can be pretty dangerous, too. This is probably best after the game, since it would just take him out of commission for pretty much the whole game if it happened in that short time. Corvo is not willing to let go off another lover and is constantly caring about him.

They run into some shadows of the past: Samuel was raped when on sea at some point, or when drinking at some tavern, and the man (or men) return to the city and perhaps try to intimidate him, knowing he now has powerful and potentially lucrative connections. Samuel goes to Corvo and confesses because he doesn’t want to get him in trouble, and Corvo offers him comfort, protection, and some form of revenge if he wants it.

Or perhaps it was even one of the conspirators who raped him, since he seemed a good target, lower-class and kind of shut off from the other servants in his little hut. It might even give him an earlier clue that not all of them are to be trusted and Corvo and him flee with Emily before Corvo can get poisoned. That, or Samuel only tells Corvo about it later, ashamed he didn’t do it earlier because that could have saved them trouble. Corvo reassures him he’s not to blame for anything.

Samuel well knows he’s just an old boatman, so he doesn’t expect Corvo to return his affection. However, the truth of his feelings might bubble out of him some time he has a fever...

After the game, Samuel gets captured by people and tortured to give information on Corvo and Emily, but he refuses to break and manages to slip away severely wounded or Corvo comes to his rescue.

Samuel is a pretty self-sufficient guy, he’s probably not used to being tended to when he’s sick, but he may enjoy it all the same, even if he’s not quite sure how to react to it.

A loyal lowborn knight and a principled would-be king and I’m here wanting every fanfic. I know it’s pretty difficult to avoid my cheating DNW while staying in the canon timeline here, so feel free to handwave their marriages away (Annulled? Divorce is allowed in Westeros? The wives have their own lovers and they are happily separated, if still married in law?) or have them never happen. I also generally like canon divergence AUs, like King Stannis AU, or same sex marriage is allowed, and stuff like that.

Davos is raped (perhaps by pirates or outlaws, or a lord/knight who think he has no one to seriously speak for him) and finds himself in the position of having to report it to Stannis, or perhaps wanting to hide it, but having Stannis find out somehow, anyway. This could even have the twist that they’re already together. It could also have been done to punish Stannis directly, so then he’d definitely learn about it, since that’s the point. Stannis comforting Davos and finding a way to get retribution would be great.

People capturing Davos to torture him for information on Stannis’ plans and Davos absolutely refusing to say a word would be nice. Perhaps he can slip away and find his way bleeding and broken back to Stannis’ door, or Stannis comes to free him.

Davos being pregnant with Stannis’ child (A/B/O, magic, handwave biology, whatever suits you) and struggling with the pregnancy a bit and Stannis helping him. Or perhaps Davos is wounded because someone wanted to get rid of Stannis’ heir. I would also love Stannis having to help him through the birth, either because they’re alone, or, to everyone’s surprise, because he’s one of those fathers who shakes off social norms and insist on staying by Davos’ side through the process.

Davos doesn’t want to put another problem in Stannis’ path, so if he experienced noncon/torture/is currently ill, he might shove that down. However, it breaks to the surface eventually and the only problem Stannis sees is that Davos didn’t tell him earlier.

Stannis helping Davos with patching up some wounds. He’s fought in wars, he knows how it’s done, and Davos is really quite charmed by his unexpedtedly gentle touch.

I’m generally just here for Davos getting roughed up – by pirates, by rebels, even by Robert’s knights who don’t take him serious and want to test out whether he deserves that knight’s title – and Stannis picking him back up. All the bonus if he literally picks him up and carries him somewhere because he’s wounded.

Davos isn’t used to being fussed about, having had a rather rough life as a smuggler, but he really enjoys it from Stannis, especially knowing he’s not at all soft with most people.

A feverish or delirious-with-exhaustion Davos spills the secret of his infatuation to Stannis or simply plants a kiss on him.

Davos throws himself in front of Stannis to prevent an assassination attempt and catches the blow himself.

Or it was just bad luck, a robber taking him on or something. Either way, Stannis helps, but gets hurt himself. Davos is shocked, since a king or lord should not get hurt for his knight.

Stannis is struggling with nightmares of some sort (he has enough reasons to, with his life), but feels very foolish for it. After all, it’s all in his head, he’s not going to cry about something that isn’t even happening. However, Davos notices and wants to comfort him.

Stannis is so ill or wounded he needs help bathing and Davos is the only one he really feels comfortable asking (perhaps not even that, but he’s the least bad choice). Mutual pining and low-key UST as Davos assist him with the bath (and perhaps some resolution of that pining) would be awesome.

Stannis ends up out in a storm or falls into a cold river/the sea, and Davos has to warm him up from hypothermia.

Most people who ever cared to fuss about Stannis were taught better by his grumpy temper, and it wasn’t many to begin with. However, Davos is not deterred and will stay by his side and help him. Stannis is not used to such loving attention, especially not from a lover, should they already be together.

Stannis works hard and gives himself as little of a break as he does anyone else. He seems like a prime candidate to break down at some point and need Davos to gently get it into his head that he needs to take breaks sometimes, especially when he’s ill.

Slow recovery would be especially difficult for someone like Stannis. Davos being there to help along his patience and remind him how far he’s already come and not to start overworking himself again would be sweet.

Touch-starved is such a good prompt for Stannis because you know he wouldn’t admit it even to himself, but once he gets used to some physical niceties from his partner Davos (like him just randomly caressing Stannis, or giving him a backrub, or cuddling up to him in bed) he would love it beyond reason and hope fervently for more. Davos might notice and indulge him.

Stannis is concussed or feverish and ends up confessing his love for Davos or kissing him or even begging him to stay close (when he’s really sick and not lucid at all and, probably not without reason, worried he might die). Once he’s clearer again, Stannis is mortified and Davos hopes he meant what he said.

Stanton & Barling – E.M. Powell

Hugo Stanton/Aelred Barling (hurt Aelred Barling)
I'm in love with this little historical crime series and think Barling and Stanton make such a great couple, just extrapolating from their canon relationship. The way they grew closer over the first book was really nice and eventually you can see how much they start to rely on each other and the respect they have for each other (despite the banter).

I love how close they are by the end of the second book and you know Barling would do a whole lot to save Stanton’s life, so him getting hurt protecting Stanton is great. Since he’s not much of a fighter, being a meat shield is probably all he can do in a situation where Stanton is in danger, but he’s happy he could do that much. Stanton, meanwhile, is super worried about him.

Barling getting poisoned by some perpetrator they’re looking for and spending some time fighting with death while Stanton won’t leave his bedside for any other reason but to find the would-be murderer and lock him up would be great.

Either through a poisoning or because of fever or medicine, Barling ends up so out of it he confesses his well-hidden attraction to Stanton, probably alongside some apologies and agonising over it. Stanton just hopes he still thinks like that when he’s clearer in the head.

For a darker prompt, perhaps someone who knows about Barling’s past or just a random criminal they go after corners him alone and rapes him. Barling is mortified, but according to the King’s Justice, they would have to find and sentence him, and it might be important to their case that a rapist is running around the area, obviously, so he needs to tell Stanton. Stanton being kind and caring and loving (whether they’re already together or not) while Barling is trying to keep it together would be amazing.

Barling gets captured and tortured for fun or information by some criminals they were closing in on. Stanton comes to save him, or Barling frees himself and crawls back to Stanton for help, which Stanton readily gives.

Barling works a lot, and perhaps he works a bit too much because de Glanville is leaning on him rather hard at some point, or to distract himself from Richard being in town, or something. Stanton could find him passed out sleeping on the desk and bring him to bed. Perhaps he’s also already sick and the overworking just makes it worse and leads to him randomly collapsing.

Barling tries to downplay the effects some sickness has on him because his case needs solving, or these documents need to be worked on, he can’t slack in his duties, and ends up falling unconscious.

Barling somehow ends up lost in the snow or cold water somewhere, probably through a criminal pushing him into a river or tying him to a tree in a winter forest or something, and Stanton collects him and warms him up again.

Barling has so many issues: he’s worried he’s going to hell for his desires, his one and only short relationship will have left him feeling like the least desireable man on earth, he’s shut himself off from love and human contact on purpose because he’s worried about his own inclinations and probably frightened he’ll just end up with another Richard. Stanton breaking through all or at least some of those walls and showing Barling he really is worthy of affection and romantic love and even desire would be super. It doesn’t have to be a whole recovery process or anything, but maybe just one scene in which he manages to touch something deep in Barling.

Barling is very ashamed for being in love with Stanton, who has shown him such understanding and kindness and doesn’t deserve this unfitting reaction for it. Somehow, it does come out (maybe someone sneaks Barling a drink that loosens his tongue?) and Stanton, who is also in love with him but was probably kept at bay by Barling’s very definite decision not to indulge in romance anymore, is very happy.

Touch-starved would describe Barling to a T. When is the last time anyone hugged Barling? Probably Stanton at the end of book two, and that wasn’t exactly a romantic reason. When he gets together with Stanton, or perhaps even just when he gets friendly with Stanton, who is a bit more touchy-feely and clasps him on the back and shoulder and such, he suddenly finds these old desires reawakening. Stanton is quite happy to indulge him once he realises.

Considering how strict Barling is with himself, it’d be nice if Stanton could make him see the benefit of relaxing every once in a while – feed him some good food, perhaps even some wine, laze around together for a warm afternoon and just fool around in bed, do something scandalous like sleeping in on a Sunday, something like that.

I love the whole trajectory of their relationship and I’d be happy with something set at any time, whether Flamebau is still a thief or not.

Either one of them gets hurt protecting the other. Flambeau can certainly do it better, being an experienced criminal who knows how to fight, but Father Brown could still throw himself in the way of a bullet or something to protect him. The other one cares for the one who got hurt.

Father Brown knows how to treat wounds from caring about criminals in his flock who didn’t want to go to physicians. Flambeau often didn’t have the luxury of going to a hospital or something, so he had to learn to do it himself. Either of them could help the other with a wound.

One of them is so wounded or ill that he needs help bathing and the other volunteers (this is probably at a point where they’re already quite close). Pining and UST can also boil over here.

Father Brown is the one caring about others, being a priest, and Flambeau is a criminal who lives a mostly solitary life. Neither is quite used to being cared about.

One of them gets a bad fever or pneumonia or is poisoned by a criminal and needs to be nursed back to health. To everyone’s surprise, Flambeau is gentle with Father Brown and honestly worried about him. Or Father Brown cares about Flambeau and Flambeau himself is quite charmed by all the tender care that he gets.

During a time of sickness, the sick person isn’t always totally lucid and says some seductive or affectionate things to the other (or makes a full blow love confession). The other person really hopes this’ll still hold true when they wake up.

Either of them gets caught out in a storm or bad weather or ends up in an icy river and needs to be warme dup by the other.

One of them is kidnapped and the other needs to use all their wits (and strength in Flambeau’s case) to get them back. Of course, their quite competent lover/crush is already also working on getting free on the other side. This could be related to a case or to Flambeau’s criminal past, or perhaps it’s even a not-so-penitent soul that Father Brown used to know? Bonus for the captors mistreating their captive. Afterwards, they could throw the captors into jail together, or perhaps Flambeau could also punch them for good measure.
