greygerbil on AO3, thank you for writing or drawing for me! Right from the start, I want to say you don’t have to do anything with my prompts, they’re just here in case you want some ideas. If it has my pairing and avoids my DNWs, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it! All ratings are great. I included a list of my general likes and smut likes which apply to all my requests. When it comes to kinks, you can include anything not listed under my DNWs.

Feel free to entirely erase the existence of canon relationships or break them up if they get in the way of the pairings I requested, whichever works best with what you’re trying to do.

Fic where the couple is not yet together but clearly in love, or on the road to getting together, or having their first time kissing/in bed together are great. However, so are established relationship fics. Whatever suits your ideas!

Some prompts may read like ideas for longer fics, but if you’re interested in them, please just grab a scene with the general idea out of the middle of those hypothetical longfics and write me that! I love fic of all length and don’t want anyone to feel like they have to go above the minimum word count. I just get excited writing prompts sometimes.

Considering the number of canons I have where you slaughter your way through untold heaps of NPCs, I should also point out I generally have no problem with gore, blood, and graphic violence.

I like black-and-white lineart just as much as elaborately shaded coal or pencil drawings and, of course, colours of every sort, traditional and digital alike. I’d very much like to see my requested pairings in your style, but if you have a specific stylistic idea, that’s always super fun, too. I don’t have pairing-specific art prompts this time, but I hope the tags themselves can work as inspiration.

Assassin’s Creed: Alexios/Stentor

Alexios and Stentor have such a deliciously complicated relationship. Stentor is obviously threatened by Alexios’s presence, and Alexios is probably jealous that Stentor got to have Nikolaos as a father whereas Alexios got to be shoved off a mountain. However, considering how attached Stentor is to Nikolaos, I doubt he has any birth family that cares about him, either. He and Alexios might eventually find themselves unexpectedly able to bond over some things. They would also make a great battle couple and their verbal and physical sparring is a lot of fun. I write mostly with protagonist!Alexios in mind, but feel free to go for Deimos!Alexios if you want to, I like him, too. For smut, I prefer bottom and sub Stentor. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Stentor. For A/B/O, I prefer omega Stentor and alpha or beta Alexios.

AC: The Isu don't exist but Greek mythology does
AC: Alexios|Kassandra and Deimos are demi-gods

To be clear, this is not necessary, I like Alexios’s Isu background just fine! However, I’d also be interested in a version of the story where it’s all just actual Greek gods who are real and meddling in the affairs of humans the way they usually do. Besides, wouldn’t Stentor just find it that much more annoying that his over-perfect sibling is an actual half-god? And then he’s still in love with him...

Who is Alexios’s father? Thanks to Ikaros, Zeus seems a pretty obvious choice, but considering Alexios’s prowess, you could probably make a case for Ares, and I’m sure quite a few other gods, too. Would love to see a story that incorporates Alexios’s inherited divine powers, or even indirect or direct intervention from his dad while he’s getting into a relationship with Stentor.

Maybe Alexios’s father or other gods who have taken an interest in his kid are matchmaking, adding to the chaos of a budding Alexios/Stentor relationship.

Stentor being a normal human would be very fitting here, since he already has such complexes around Alexios (and surely also Deimos) and that would just make it worse. But maybe he has a little non-human blood in him, too, if from a less exalted source? Maybe his grandma was a dryad or another type of nymph or something like that, but he doesn’t know much about his biological family and meeting Alexios leads him towards unlocking his own, if slighter, powers. Or he always knew he had them, but they pale in comparison to Alexios’s godly powers. If only Alexios weren’t so charming, it’d be easy to hate him...

AC: Alexios|Kassandra is an eagle shifter

Is Alexios Ikaros? It would explain how Ikaros can so easily transmit information to him. How does Stentor find out?

Maybe Alexios isn’t Ikaros, he just feels drawn to eagles as pets because he is himself a shifter (or Ikaros is a shifter who doesn’t like being/can’t be human anymore). That would still be quite the revelation for Stentor.

Stentor befriends a surprisingly tame eagle, which he figures is someone’s escaped pet or something. However, it’s shifter Alexios being guiltily happy for getting pets and having someone talk nicely to him – all that killing and wandering around alone can take a toll on a man! Besides, he sees a new, less tense side of Stentor when Stentor figures he’s all alone with the eagle and out of earshot of humans. Of course, eventually Stentor realises who the eagle is or Alexios is forced to reveal himself for some reason.

AC: Stentor is a catboy

For cat Stentor, he could be either a shifter, or a human with a few animal traits who can also shift fully, or just a real anime style cat boy with some animal features (and maybe senses). Why is it that way? Well, maybe animal traits are rare but just happen sometimes. Maybe he angered (or pleased!) a god(ess). Maybe he was just born that way and it’s an unknown, weak strain of Isu taint. Either way, Alexios can’t stop looking at those ears.

Alexios’ canonical magical powers include the Beast Master skill. He finds out that it works on catboy Stentor (much to Stentor’s chagrin).

All: Character gets another character’s help that they didn’t get in canon

Perhaps Stentor travels with Alexios after Boeotia because his father asks him to get revenge on the cult for what they did to his family, or maybe Alexios is tasked by Archidamos to help Stentor for longer than just one battle. Either way, suddenly they’re spending time together, fighting together, and it’s a bit more difficult to keep hating each other.

ALL: Different First Meeting - Mistaken for a Hooker and Goes With It

Perhaps Stentor and Alexios run into each other earlier in Megaris and somehow a couple of wires get crossed or maybe Alexios was a little too flirty and so Stentor figures Alexios is a prostitute rather than a mercenary. Alexios decides Stentor is handsome enough to keep up the act, not thinking that he’s really going to talk to him again after that night. He was wrong about that.

Or hey, perhaps Stentor was underdressed because he was spying and somehow him flirting with Alexios leads to Alexios making the assumption Stentor is a prostitute. Stentor thinks what the hell, he’ll just go with it because it’s not like he’ll see this misthios again and he wants to have a few experiences that aren’t allowed with other Spartan soldiers. Imagine his surprise later...

ALL: Marriage Interrupted by Failed Assassination Attempt and Continues After

This would be fun! Both of them have enemies, so I’m sure they would enjoy the idea of ruining a happy day for them. However, Stentor and Alexios are barely rattled by this interruption because at this point, it’s not new, right? Also, there will be a lot of great fighters at this wedding, starting with their whole family. In the end, they don’t let it spoil their time together.

ALL: Ritual Sex Required To Save The World

The Isu (or Greek gods) work in mysterious ways! Maybe no one else but Stentor is at hand when Alexios needs to produce a certain kind of energy to keep the world stable, maybe Aphrodite or Eros decides they want it to be the two of them, but either way they’re tasked to sleep together to save everybody. It’s a civic duty at that point! Even if it ended up being really good sex that they can’t forget...

ALL: Sex as a normal part of training

A culture that has eromenos-erastes relationships could as well have made this a thing. Maybe having sex with your battle brothers is considered a normal part of training in your twenties during the latter parts of the agoge, perhaps to prepare for honey pot missions or just to strengthen bonds. Alexios hears about it and can’t quite believe it (especially not for his dear brother, who seems to have nothing but a stick up his backside). However, Stentor would be willing to show him some of these techniques... Alexios needs to learn the Spartan ways, after all.

ALL: Marriage by Winning Ritual Combat To Gain Partner's Hand

For a world where same-sex marriage is legal, this would be fun. Maybe Stentor decided this was needed because Nikolaos’s heir can’t marry an unworthy man. Alexios hears about it and thinks it’s time to reunite the family, as it were. Were they already FWB and pining, or maybe even in a tentative relationship, or is Stentor totally surprised (if not unhappily so, if he were honest with himself)?

Or perhaps Alexios made this the challenge for people who want to marry him. Stentor decides he will give it his best shot, even if he’s weaker than Alexios. Does he have a special plan and manages to outfox Alexios, or does he just put all of his strength into it? Maybe, if Stentor’s strength is not quite enough because Alexios is an overlevelled monster, Alexios just so happens to stumble over a stone or miss a crucial hit? I’m sure Stentor would notice. Is he insulted, or maybe a little charmed that Alexios wanted him, or both? Alexios probably tells him to just take the win (and the prize).

Maybe this is a Spartan ritual that Alexios doesn’t know about. He probably just wanted a chance to spar with Stentor, or maybe they have been needling each other and showing Stentor up in public doesn’t sound so bad right now. He doesn’t quite understand why Stentor seems so surprised, though... Does Alexios pretend to know he knew what was going on, or does he show his surprise? Does Stentor want to break it up when he realises Alexios stumbled into it? How does Alexios convince him that this is actually something that he also wants?

ALL: Secret Relationship Is Publicly Revealed

How would their family react if Alexios and Stentor admitted to their relationship, or got caught red-handed? Did one or some of them suspect it or is it a shock? After all, Alexios and Stentor weren’t exactly best friends, and it only further complicates the already somewhat unusual family situation. Then again, at least it means they probably won’t kill each other...

ALL: Arranged Marriage - Marriage As Punishment To A Partner Of Lower Status

This could go either way. Maybe Archidamos decides that since Stentor needed help in Boeotia, he should marry the mercenary he needed to make that victory happen, as a sort of punishment for not pulling through by himself. It’s a good way to get Alexios back into the Spartan fold, but also a message to Stentor.

Or maybe Alexios is the one who is punished for some infraction against Sparta’s laws (you can’t really say he behaves much like a Spartan despite the citizenship) and given Stentor in marriage, who is considered of lesser status now after Alexios helped so much in Boeotia and at the Olympics, and who might not be a Spartan by blood, considering his adopted status. They hope Stentor can educate Alexios to be a better Spartan.

Stentor would probably be furious and ashamed either way, whereas Alexios might just be pissed at the king. It’s not a great basis for a marriage regardless, but Stentor wants to make it work so Archidamos won’t keep thinking of him as lesser. Were they already pining or do their feelings develop during the marriage?

ALL: Characters in arranged marriage AU catch feelings

Who arranged the arranged marriage if it’s arranged? Maybe the king has decided Alexios must marry to regain Spartan citizenship and Stentor as his husband would provide an opportunity to reunite Nikolaos’s family. But I’ll be happy with any other scenario, too! Have Alexios and Stentor ever considered being in a relationship before? How do they navigate their marriage? Is there pining as both think the other is just here out of obligation? Did they think they’d manage this with gritted teeth, but the wedding night is mind-blowing and suddenly they’re contemplating the idea for the first time? Or maybe their feelings develop slowly?

ALL: Dominant/Submissive AU

Whether this is an AU where they just enjoy D/s, or a world where people are born as either Doms or subs, both is fun! Would love this with Dom Alexios and sub Stentor. Since it’s Ancient Greece and they can’t really google BDSM etiquette, I’m fine with anything that’s consensual and sorta sane and safe, but it doesn’t need follow exact modern guidelines. Does Stentor somehow find out (by running in on Alexios sleeping with someone, or from a drunken tale Alexios tells him, maybe) that Alexios likes to dominate his partners, and now that he’s in bed with Alexios, he just can’t help but think that it’d be nice to try? Or, Stentor hasn’t really considered submitting to anyone – he won’t even permit the thought –, but somehow Alexios seduces him into it, or he asks Stentor to try if they’re together, and Stentor realises he enjoys it when it’s Alexios.

If people are born as either Doms or subs, maybe Stentor carefully hides the fact that he’s a sub (possibly even including from Nikolaos, since he was worried it might have led to him not being adopted). He’s very good at acting the Dom, but eventually Alexios sees through him as they keep sleeping with each other.

Or Stentor is open about the fact that he was born a sub, but very good at avoiding being dominated by Doms (and proud of it). Alexios and him keep having little power struggles that are basically just extended flirting. Does Stentor eventually submit?

ALL: Mpreg is rare AU

So basically, mpreg! Whether it’s a biological quirk some few men’s bodies have, or even something only possible due to the Isu taint (or Alexios’ godly nature, if you’re not going with Isu), all is great. How do the two handle having a baby? Was it a decision or an accident? Is the Cult of Kosmos trying to get the kid? Does Alexios know of the pregnancy or are they separated for a while and then Stentor suddenly has a baby with him?

ALL: Characters Marry So Pregnant Character's Baby Won't Be Born Out of Wedlock

So Stentor accidentally got pregnant with Alexios’s baby and they decide it would make sense to reunite the family. Both of them think the other is just doing the sensible thing, and both of them are pining.

Maybe this is not Alexios’s child, but the man whose child it is died (in this case, I would prefer if it wasn’t a big romance, but a fling)/wants nothing to do with Stentor/the pregnancy is a result of noncon from Athenian soldiers (exception to noncon DNW here). Alexios doesn’t mind adopting, especially not if it’s Stentor’s child, and they get closer.

ALL: A/B/O - Alpha attracted to Omega they mistakenly assume is also Alpha

Secret Omega Stentor is great. When does Alexios find out? As late as when the clothes come off? Or is it earlier, when they’re not together yet? Maybe Stentor worries that Alexios will reveal his secret, but then his opinion on Alexios starts turning around when he realises Alexios is actually not looking to screw him over (he might be looking to screw him, though).

Or maybe the fact that Stentor is an Omega isn’t even a secret, Alexios just assumed from how bossy Stentor is that he must be your typical Alpha with a chip on his shoulder. It would be an interesting moment to see when he realises it; or it’s Stentor who off-handedly mentions something to that effect because of course he assumed Alexios knew. Maybe Stentor is worried that Alexios is not attracted to him now, considering he was happily chasing an Alpha before? However, I’d like it if Alexios was not deterred.

Whether Stentor being an Omega is a secret or not, Alexios didn’t know, even though he and Stentor have been flirting. It’s very hard to ignore when Stentor unexpectedly goes into heat, though. Despite the misunderstanding, Alexios is still happy to help out.

ALL: A/B/O - Elaborate courtship rituals

Do rituals differ in Sparta and Kephallonia? Do they try to figure out what the other one expects of them, or try local traditions? Do Spartan courtship rituals include the omega dragging dead animals they hunted to the alpha, or other martial things like that? Generally, I would just like to see them enjoy their relationship.

ALL: A/B/O - submission rituals

Stentor has never done these for an alpha, but as Alexios and him get closer, he realises this is special. So whether it’s something public that other Spartans can see and recognise (and be baffled Stentor is doing it), or something private and even smutty, I’m sure Alexios would know that it means a lot.

ALL: A/B/O - married purely for convenience until omega goes into heat

Stentor married Alexios for his father’s sake so he can be properly Spartan again, or Alexios married Stentor so Stentor didn’t have to consider worse prospects, but either way they never expected much to come of the marriage (though they might already be in love). However, their plan that Alexios would just have nothing to do with Stentor’s heats doesn’t work out. Do they try to keep it on the level of “we’ll only sleep together for the heats to make sure Stentor can get back to his job” for a while as they’re pining, or do they realise rightaway that they want more from each other?

Sherlock: Mycroft Holmes/Greg Lestrade

These two are a long-time favourite pairing of mine. They seem like very different men, but in the end they both dedicated their lives to protecting people – and they both care about Sherlock, which is an excellent way to keep them talking in the early days of their relationship. Greg is not intimidated by geniuses and Mycroft seems a little more in touch with the idea of physical intimacy than Sherlock, so there is an opportunity here… For smut, I prefer bottom and sub Greg. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Greg. For A/B/O, I prefer omega Greg and alpha or beta Mycroft.

Note: Since the fourth season of Sherlock is pretty controversial, feel free to entirely ignore everything that happened there. Or don’t! I don’t have a preference either way, but I wanted to say it’s an option in case you weren’t happy with the developments. Also, if you want to go pre-Season 3, you could just set Greg’s divorce to be earlier or have him never be married in the first place.

ALL: Characters pretend to be a couple/married so often that they catch feelings

The most obvious reason is for cases. Perhaps to gather information, one of them has to go undercover into a kink/sex club that is couples only, or they just need a convenient excuse to bring the other places so they can snoop around. It’s entirely too easy to pretend to be in love, though...

For a Greg who got divorced much earlier or was never married: When Sherlock still had severe problems with drugs, Mycroft eventually designated Greg his legal husband so he’d be part of the family and didn’t have to keep explaining to hospital staff why he was around. Greg wished he would have, like, discussed that with him before he did it, but fine, he’ll be Mycroft’s pretend-husband on paper for a bit. It’s not like anything will come of it, right?

ALL: Secret Relationship Is Publicly Revealed

I think this would be really fun. Just how insulted would Sherlock be that Mycroft somehow managed to hide this detail from him? And that Greg of all people did, too! And what do their other friends think? Are Sally and Anderson mostly worried there’s another Holmes streaking about? Does John have experience dating the other Holmes brother or can he freely poke fun at Greg without having to expect a predictable joke in return?

Maybe Sherlock realises both Mycroft and Greg must be dating someone (the signs are there!), but he just can’t connect the dots. Mycroft is having entirely too much fun with that. Does he eventually let the cat out of the bag, or does he let Sherlock figure it out on his own?

Maybe the reveal is a bit more dramatic, like Moriarty or another villain kidnapping Greg to make a point. Does Mycroft go into the field for once to save his boyfriend?

ALL: Character finds out they have a child they didn't know about

Generally, whichever one of them it is, I would love it if this also included becoming the primary caretaker for the child now just to make the situation even more difficult. Maybe the mother doesn’t have time or generally doesn’t want much to do with the kid.

If it were Greg, I’m sure he’d want to take responsibility, and maybe he already has kids (still small or already grown), so the whole thing isn’t as daunting to him; or he doesn’t have kids, but his grounded personality leads to him just kind of rolling with the punches here. Still, doesn’t hurt to have a little help as a new single parent and Mycroft somehow keeps showing up (if they’re not together yet), or keeps offering his help in his own ways despite his insistence he has no idea what to do around children (if they’re already together).

It would also be very interesting if it was Mycroft – I’m sure he’d do what he could to prevent this from happening, but even for a genius, a condom could accidentally tear in a dark room or something. Severely out of his depth, Mycroft goes to Greg for help (maybe because Greg is currently co-parenting with his divorced wife or even a single dad, maybe because Greg already has grown kids, or maybe just because he’s generally good with kids).

Whether they’re already together or get together while parenting, I would love to see them grow into a weird little family.

ALL: Characters initially meet at kink or sex club

Again for a Greg that got divorced earlier or was never married. I assume both Greg and Mycroft might want to keep it private that they attend such places. This makes it unfortunate when the day after pretty mind-blowing sex, Mycroft casually has Greg abducted after he ran into Sherlock at a crime scene (I imagine the abduction might come across as even more threatening at first when it’s last night’s hook-up doing it – maybe Mycroft didn’t even realise who it was he was having dragged into a black car).

Mycroft’s plan not to let pleasure cross with either business or the rest of his private life goes awry when he realises the man who he had such fun with in bed also happens to be an upstanding and empathetic police officer who can somehow handle his drug-addicted brother quite well. Mycroft recognises that’s a lot of potential reasons to fall in love all at once, but then Mycroft doesn’t need a goldfish... right?

Or maybe Greg came over to a city apartment of Mycroft’s or even a hotel room to sleep together (they decided it makes more sense than always meeting up at the club, but it’s still strictly sex), and then Sherlock casually breaks in and suddenly Greg finds himself involved in this family drama.

ALL: Dominant/Submissive AU

Would love this as either just them being Dom and sub, or a D/s AU where people are born as Doms and subs. For the former, I’m pretty sure that Mycroft has probably figured out that Greg is a sub in under a day of knowing him, since he’s, well, Mycroft. Mycroft doesn’t plan to do anything about it since Greg is already involved with Mycrot’s private life in other ways, but for once things don’t go to plan and he finds himself teasing Greg and eventually ending up in bed with him.

Greg has not tried subbing before, but he figures he’ll give it a shot for Mycroft, since the amount of toys in his bedroom suggests Mycroft takes this Domming thing pretty serious. Mycroft is happy about this and sets out to convince Greg that it’s a good idea (and succeeds).

For a D/s AU where they are born as Dom and Sub, I could see Mycroft as pretty mercenary. Maybe he even forces Greg to obey when they first meet, since he’s an extraordinarily strong Dom due to the power of his mind and wants Greg obedient to protect Sherlock – or Mycroft tries to, but to his surprise, Greg knows how to resist him, or at least quickly learns to, as he has to keep his wits about him as a police officer. Now it’s almost a game between them, though...

Or maybe their natures were never really part of their interaction, to the point that Greg sometimes wonders if Mycroft has any secondary nature. Turns out Mycroft just keeps himself on a tight leash around Greg because otherwise he might not be able to resist. Does Greg manage to chip away at his barriers over time (accidentally or not), or does something dramatic happen that brings them suddenly together?

ALL: Sex Worker AU

Maybe Greg’s life took an entirely different turn? He might end up running into Sherlock sometimes because he’s a sex worker around the same places where Sherlock acquires his drugs (probably not the safest places for sex work, either). Mycroft decides to interrogate Sherlock’s new acquaintance and finds himself unexpectedly drawn to him after a while.

Or Greg is employed at a somewhat more high-class establishment that Mycroft decides to give a visit. It doesn’t take long for Greg to accidentally become involved in Mycroft’s life through what was only supposed to be a ‘business’ relationship, though (maybe because Sherlock just keeps popping up, and things spiral from there).

All: Marriage Arranged Because of Matching Soulmarks

Maybe people with soulmarks are arranged to marry per tradition or the government. Mycroft is confused – why would his soulmate be a completely average person? Greg might also not be convinced that a dodgy secret service/illegal shadow government member who probably kidnapped him for their first meeting is the greatest choice. However, against all odds, they grow closer.

ALL: Urban Fantasy AU

I enjoy the whole monsters, but make it sexy vibe of urban fantasy. Does Greg belong to a special unit for supernatural crimes? Or maybe he is a supernatural being, such as a shifter of some type? Maybe the Holmes brothers have incubus blood?

Perhaps the supernatural world is still somewhat hidden. When Greg gets bitten by a werewolf/other type of were creature or is exposed to something clearly magic on the job and won’t let it go even though he might have been told to do so by superiors in the know, Mycroft (who is a vampire or himself some sort of shifter or, who knows, maybe a half-elf or something) is the one who introduces him to this other side of reality.

ALL: Assassin's Creed Fusion

If there’s someone who could pose a danger to Abstergo in the modern timeline, it’s the mind of Mycroft Holmes. Greg might be more on the practical, rooftop-running side of things. Working together also allows them a chance to get to know each other.

I always love the trope of characters who are already crushing on each other in real life having to live through Animus sequences of their respective ancestors being lovers, which doesn’t help their feelings at all.

I would also love an AC AU set in the past with these two! Maybe they could meet the Frye twins or, in the much more distant past, Eivor? But this could be in a time that hasn’t been touched on by the AC series, too. Whichever it is, I would love to see their romance, and how their roles in the actual series translate to Assassin’s Creed (does Mycroft head a bureau or is he a Mentor?).

ALL: Fantasy/Magic Royalty and Palace Intrigue AU

Is Mycroft the older prince but gave the throne to Sherlock and runs things from behind the scenes? Or maybe he’s the real power behind a completely different puppet ruler (whether that ruler realises it or not)? Or in some other position in the government? And what about Greg? Is he a lowly city or palace guard who somehow gets dragged into all these courtly intrigues somewhat against his will? How do they end up together?

All: Victorian Era AU

A classic for this fandom, of course. Whether this is the Victorian Era the way Sherlock imagined it, or a more regular Victorian AU, I would love to see what that means for Greg and Mycroft.

ALL: Cyberpunk AU

Whether you want to make this a general cyberpunk genre setting or something connected to Cyberpunk 2077 the video game/roleplaying game, both would be great. How would these two move in a cyberpunk world? How would they get to know each other?

The police tends to be comically obviously corrupt in the cyberpunk genre. I could see an honest cop like Greg eventually ending up on the kill list. Maybe Mycroft saves him (alongside his team, if Sally and Anderson also got caught in the crossfire)?

Or maybe Greg got out on his own and is a private detective or mercenary/solo with an ethics code. Mycroft hires him to keep an eye on his brother and things go from there.

You could also go a bit more in the scifi direction. Perhaps Mycroft and Sherlock (and Moriarty?) are AIs who downloaded into android bodies?

ALL: Pacific Rim AU

These are always fun! Are they both pilots, but initially in different Jaegers? Maybe Mycroft and Sherlock used to pilot together, but Sherlock ditched Mycroft for John. Greg is also without a partner at the moment and him and Mycroft train together at some point and find out they might actually be drift compatible.

Or Mycroft is mission control and never planned to seriously get into a Jaeger outside of training, but oh no! A kaiju is coming closer and no pilot teams are available, but Greg and Mycroft could theoretically do this together! Quick, they have to try drifting and save everybody (even if it reveals their latent crushes on each other)!

ALL: Westeros AU

It would be interesting to see what would happen if you transplanted these poor people into the setting of A Song of Ice and Fire (incidentally, feel free to have mentions of noncon in this one as long as it doesn’t involve the characters from Sherlock since, well, this is Westeros, after all). Mycroft would be great at playing the game of thrones, as it were. And what about Greg? Is he a guard or a hedge knight? How does he end up coming in contact with Mycroft? Whether you want to slot them into the story as it happens in the books or just work with the general setting, all is great.

ALL: Mpreg is rare AU

So rare they genuinely did not consider it an option, especially if Greg had experience with other men and it never happened. However, he’s pregnant by Mycroft now. Were they already in a relationship and are happily preparing for the kid, despite it being a surprise? Are they FWB who are pining and have to figure that out first? Does Mycroft worry about his ability to raise a kid, and does Greg worry about his ability to raise a Holmes kid who will be smarter than him at two years old? How do they help each other through that?

ALL: A/B/O - Younger Alpha/Older Omega

Greg is a few years older than Mycroft, I think. Maybe he figures that’s one reason it’s unlikely Mycroft is interested in him? It could be unusual for younger alphas to date older omegas. Mycroft reassuring Greg that the difference in intellect is a greater hindrance might not help him believe Mycroft wants him, lol. Nevertheless, Mycroft is interested.

ALL: A/B/O - BAMF Power Couple Alpha/Omega

These two definitely! It might be somewhat unusual for the omega to be the more action-oriented part of the BAMF couple, but it’s no problem for the two of them. Maybe Greg isn’t used to alphas being quite that supportive of him being in the career he’s in and generally able to hold his own in a pub brawl, and he really enjoys it? Meanwhile, Mycroft is probably not used to steady relationships with omegas at all, so this is quite a new experience in general.

Would love for them to solve a case or catch a criminal together.

ALL: A/B/O - Elaborate courtship rituals

Mycroft is a bit more into elaborate courtship rituals than any other alpha Greg has dated so far, so the rituals are kind of new for him (or he knows them mostly from period pieces on TV), but he finds himself enjoying Mycroft’s attention.

Greg trying to reciprocate would also be cute, even if it doesn’t come quite as natural to him.

ALL: A/B/O - submission rituals

Whether smutty and private or more G-rated and public, this would be great to see. Maybe it’s a little old-fashioned and Greg does it to surprise Mycroft? Or it’s expected, but Mycroft claimed to be above finding such crude rituals attractive, but realises that when his omega Greg does it, it just hits a little different.

ALL: A/B/O - married purely for convenience until omega goes into heat

Maybe Mycroft married Greg to afford him some of the protections he gets through his station, since Greg is deeply enough involved with the Holmses to need them at this point, or maybe he agreed to it after Greg’s divorce since unmarried omegas are considered somehow unstable and Greg didn’t want his job to suffer. However, then Greg’s suppressants fail, or their plan of Mycroft sensibly ignoring Greg’s heat just kind of does not work out how they’d planned. Where do they go from there? Do they admit to each other that they’re in love, or does it take them a while longer to notice?

Boku no Hero Academia: Sasaki Mirai | Sir Nighteye/Yagi Toshinori | All Might

These two break my heart. It’s clear that even to the last, they still like and respect each other, but a real reunion was not in the cards for them. If you’re going into that part of the timeline, please fix it for me and have Mirai survive so that they can work on their issues (or fall into bed together and add a thousand other issues and then maybe resolve all that). Whether you see them as old lovers or friends who were always pining, or who perhaps weren’t, but discover something new about their relationship entirely now, all is great. Of course, I would also love to see them together in the glory days, though, so if you feel like writing me anything from the era when Mirai was Toshinori’s sidekick, I’d totally be here for it. For smut, I prefer bottom and sub Toshinori. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Toshinori. For A/B/O, I prefer omega Toshinori and alpha or beta Mirai.

I’m generally up to date with the manga, so feel free to include any and all spoilers. Incidentally, spoiler here if you aren’t (or at least I think it is a spoiler because I’m not fully sure where the anime is): I’m fine with where canon is now in the manga and find it interesting, but I admit I also liked the school setting, so if you want to write an AU where the villains bide their time a little more and things can continue there, I’d also love that.

ALL: Canonically Dead Character Survives

Well, this is a sort of a background AU for many of my requests. Make Mirai live! Whether he has to recover, whether he never gets seriously hurt at all, or whether Eri gets a hold of him during the fight and rewinds him back to health, all would be great.

If Mirai has sustained some injuries, Toshinori sticks around to help him out. Maybe they get talking?

If Mirai is seriously out of it for a while, him confessing his love for Toshinori when he thinks he’s about to die/maybe just out of it on painkillers would be great. How do they deal with that later on? Maybe Toshinori tries to tell him he knows that was just delirium talking, but Mirai tells him it wasn’t? Or maybe he takes the excuse but later wishes he didn’t and has to fix it somehow?

If the injuries were so grave that Mirai wasn’t fully conscious/ready for a talk, maybe Toshinori is around to help him through that, but feels awkward and stops showing up anymore as soon as it’s clear that Mirai is on the mend, since he’s unsure if Mirai actually wants him around now that he doesn’t need someone to care for him. Does he get it together and visit him again? Does Mirai track him down? Or maybe Mirio, Midoriya and/or Mirai’s sidekicks decide enough is enough and arrange a meeting.

ALL: Characters reunite after canon estrangement

I just want these two doofuses to sit down and talk to each other because I really don’t think either of them is happy that the other is not in their life anymore.

I think they probably have very different conceptions of why they’re not talking to each other anymore? Toshinori says he feels bad that everything Mirai said would happen has come to pass, and probably thinks Mirai must think he’s an idiot (he was pretty harsh with Toshinori on the phone, too, lol) and that he has disappointed his biggest fan thoroughly. Meanwhile, Mirai might think that Toshinori doesn’t want to be around someone who left him hanging, and besides, he kinda put that Sword of Damocles over Toshinori’s head when he Foresight’d Toshinori against his will. Yet, neither of them has any real ill will for the other. Can they maybe figure that out?

Speaking of that, Toshinori still has Mirai’s death prediction hanging over him. Maybe if they’re starting to get closer again, especially romantically, he tries to put distance between them. However, Mirai won’t let even more time with Toshinori slip away (and he does now know that fate can be averted...).

Mirai decides that since fate can be averted, he’s going to spend more time around Toshinori. As a hero, it’s his duty to prevent deaths, right? Toshinori thinks it’s unnecessary for him to waste that much time on him, but he admittedly really likes Mirai being close (and Mirai might have other reasons than his prophecy).

ALL: Characters reunite after canon estrangement (and then fuck)

Maybe they had a perfectly sensible reunion where they talk about everything planned, and then halfway through they’ve suddenly ended up taking off each other’s clothes.

Toshinori has never slept with Mirai in his current body and Mirai’s... everything seems to be covered in pictures of peak shape All Mights. I could see him wondering if he’s still even attractive to Mirai (I could also see him being awkward enough to wonder this even after sleeping with him, although maybe misinterpreting something that happens in bed between them spurs on his concern), considering he looks objectively pretty sickly. Can Mirai convince him?

ALL: Secret Marriage

I like the idea that the two of them got married back when they were a team, but didn’t tell anyone in an effort to not make Mirai an even bigger target for potential kidnappings, and perhaps also because they’re both pretty private. I would love to see the proposal or the wedding (or wedding night!) here. Or, if you want to go later, maybe, despite everything, they never got divorced...

Both of them believe the lack of a divorce was for pragmatic reasons (Toshinori might want someone who knows him well to handle his estate when he dies and vice versa – Mirai is also in the same dangerous line of work, after all). Turns out both of them definitely had emotional reasons to hold on to the marriage.

Since they never had a wedding with friends (and potential family, though Toshinori doesn’t really some to have any), they decide to have one now that they’ve reunited.

ALL: Secret Relationship Is Publicly Revealed

If this is during their time as a team, I’m sure it would be very difficult to go out and never get caught, and not just because both of them are over two metres tall and hard to miss already even without also being very prominent figures. Maybe paparazzi catch them, or someone taking a shot for social media? This could happen later, after Toshinori shows himself to the world in his new form, too. I’m sure he media is still very interested in his love life.

I could also see Toshinori feel intensely uncomfortable getting hit on as much as he surely does as All Might when he’s in a relationship. He has a boyfriend, after all (not that it would stop many people, but he might think it should)! Maybe the truth slips out at some point and either he says that it is Mirai, or Mirai decides he’s going to publically claim the spot now that Toshinori let the cat out of the bag.

Seeing that Toshinori finds life after All Might difficult (he seems pretty unsure why he’s even still around sometimes), Mirai decides that standing pubically by him would be a good gesture, if only because it means they can actually do stuff like go on dates.

ALL: Ritual Sex Required To Save The World

So this is definitely part of the Porn Logic section of the letter. Oh no, a villain’s... very strange quirk demands that a certain type of energy is released to save the world (or even just district or city, it doesn’t have to be quite that dramatic) from destruction. Enter All Might and his sidekick! They wouldn’t leave the world hanging...

Maybe this is after Toshinori gets depowered. Toshinori decides he’s up for this weird ritual because it’s not like he can help fight villains in another way – if he can still find someone who would even sleep with him. Mirai is very aware there would still be takers and is not ready to watch that, so he volunteers as well.

ALL: Character is a Professional Dom(me)

Look, Mirai’s hero name includes the title Sir and what is that thing he strapped Bubble Girl into in his office, anyway? Even if he’s not professional in the sense that he actually did it as a job for a while (maybe before he became a sidekick and then pro hero?), he sure as hell knows his stuff. Toshinori realises this at some point and is much more interested than he wants to be.

As someone with professional or professional-level interest in Domming, it would be fun if Mirai was well-versed in some of the more complicated stuff, like shibari.

Maybe it actually was his job at some point and while Mirai isn’t embarrassed, he figures it’s not really something you put on your resumé when you apply to work with All Might. Only at some point Toshinori comes across an old ad or photo or someone who knew Mirai back in the day. Flustered Toshinori trying to figure out his sidekick’s past and ending up very fascinated and probably very embarrassed would be great. When does Mirai figure out what is happening?

ALL: Dominant/Submissive AU

Toshinori often seems a bit... innocent to me? Not in the sense that he’s a virgin, but I can imagine that something like D/s had just never entered into his mind as a serious possibility, or even something he realises is A Thing for some people. Maybe he runs in on Mirai domming somebody and that just gets all sorts of thoughts rolling? Where do they take it from here?

Maybe because Toshinori seems so vanilla, Mirai is reluctant to introduce him to his preferences, but Toshinori ends up finding handcuffs and rope and is really confused and somewhat worried, so he has to explain.

Or maybe Mirai isn’t reluctant at all and asks Toshinori straight out and is eager to introduce him to some things. Turns out Toshinori loves subbing.

Perhaps it’s even something Toshinori has considered before, but for one reason or another never felt comfortable exploring. Now there is Mirai, however...

Mirai could never physically overpower Toshinori at his peak strength, but the fact that Toshinori still submits to him willingly is very hot to him.

Mirai can overpower Toshinori now that he’s unable to shift into his other form. They both realise they find this hot, too.

Toshinori admits at some point when they got back together that he’s disappointed they probably won’t be able to do the things they used to now that his body is wrecked (since perhaps Mirai made good use of his ability to take punishment). Being well-versed in the art of domming and very happy Toshinori is still up for this sort of thing, Mirai sets about figuring out a way for them to play that won’t put too much stress on Toshinori’s body.

If you want to read this as a D/s AU where everybody is either a Dom or sub by nature, that would be fun, too! I’m sure being a submissive would be considered not ideal for hero work, since it might mean villains could try to dominate you. Does Toshinori hide the fact that he’s a sub so he won’t get attacked, or maybe because he wouldn’t get a hero licensce if he did tell people? When does he tell Mirai? Or maybe Mirai pieces it together himself?

For the kind of D/s AU where these things are innate, maybe Toshinori takes Mirai as his Dom since it’s relaxing for both of them to indulge. It’s just pragmatic, really, if only it weren’t for all these feelings... It would be great to see a confession here, but also the reunion after six years apart.

ALL: Marriage by Winning Ritual Combat To Gain Partner's Hand

Maybe this is a Fantasy AU, or this just happens to be a tradition in this AU world for some reason. If it’s Mirai who set the challenge, maybe Toshinori tries to (more or less subtly) find out if it’d be okay for Mirai if he tried his luck (considering he will almost certainly win that fight with his hands tied behind his back). If he’s depowered, Toshinori might actually have to come up with a plan to beat Mirai.

If it’s Toshinori, Mirai decides to take his shot, even knowing that he will likely never overpower Toshinori, but feeling he should at least give it a try, maybe to show Toshinori he’s serious. Toshinori decides to forfeit the match to make Mirai the winner, or go down after taking like one basically symbolic punch.

If Toshinori is depowered at the point that Mirai issues the challenge, maybe they actually have a real match and Mirai does overpower him.

Is this a fight that has to happen publically for some reason of tradition? That would be interesting as well, as I think Toshinori’s match would garner a lot of attention, whether he’s the challenger or the defender.

All: Marriage Arranged Because of Matching Soulmarks

In canon, Mirai becomes Toshinori’s sidekick because he convinces (or browbeats, lol, unsure of the details) him until Toshinori relents. That means they had time to get used to each other and Mirai had time to put together a plan, which we know he likes to do. What if instead Mirai just shakes his hand at a fan meet or gets rescued by him or something and whoops, now they have to get married because that’s A Thing in this world (assuming soulmate marks appear when you touch someone, or are the first words spoken to you, or Toshinori sees Mirai’s matching mark because his clothes are torn)? How do they get used to each other?

BNHA: All Might Gains Some Bunny Features

Yeah, I have no excuse for this one, but honestly, the bangs kind of look like bunny ears and he does move around with very fast jumps, so... Maybe a villain’s quirk temporarily or permanently gives Toshinori bunny ears and a rabbit tail. Bonus for bunny ears that match his design (if he’s All Might: standing ears, if he’s Small Might: hanging ears). Toshinori thinks Mirai is staring because he thinks it looks ridiculous, but Mirai is fascinated because it’s just so damn cute.

Or maybe the animal features are a side-effect that eventually happens when he fully passes on One for All that wasn’t really known until now. Toshinori thinks it looks a bit stupid, but Mirai doesn’t.

ALL: Fantasy AU

That’s a staple of this fandom, of course, and I would love to see how these two translate to a fantasy AU. Maybe Mirai is a seer and Toshinori a knight? However, I could see a lot of other ways this could go, too. How do they get together in this setting?

Western-ish fantasy, as the Fantasy AU anime ending implies, is just as appreciated as fantasy that draws from the Edo era or earlier eras of Japanese history.

ALL: Mpreg is rare AU

So rare that Mirai and Toshinori really didn’t think they had to be worried about it! There was never any sign either of them could get pregnant. Except after some time, it turns out Toshinori is carrying Mirai’s child.

Maybe mpreg being possible isn’t usually a thing, but this is the moment Toshinori figures out he wasn’t actually fully quirkless before he received One for All – his quirk of being able to get mpregnant was just not obvious.

Toshinori never got pregnant when they slept together when he was in peak form, but actually does get pregnant after their reunite when he’s depowered. Cue all the worrying from Mirai about Toshinori going through a pregnancy when his body is already at its limit just dealing with keeping Toshinori alive.

ALL: Male character gets pregnant via nonconsensual scientific experimentation

This would be difficult to manage for a villain with peak All Might, but maybe it only needs a prick with a needle instead of something more elaborate?

Toshinori in his depowered form could be overcome and kidnapped for this purpose, of course. Maybe someone wants more examples of what happens quirk-wise if a former One for All user has a child? Or there’s some other purpose to it.

Feel free to go hard on the body horror here. Maybe the child is eratically fast-growing or implanted already half-grown so that Toshinori won’t even get the chance to think about an abortion and now he has to deal with that.

The baby could use leftover other DNA within the host’s body and thus be Mirai’s baby (or maybe Mirai’s DNA was used on purpose by the villains because his quirk is actually insanely powerful when you think about it, so why not try to combine that with what looks like a strength quirk from the outside, or One for All). Or maybe it’s not genetically Mirai’s, but he begins to feel (and act) like the father, anyway. Were Toshinori and him already together, or is this what gets them there?

ALL: A/B/O - Younger Alpha/Older Omega

This is a trope I really like and that fits very well for these two, since I think they have about a fifteen year age gap. Maybe Toshinori thinks he’s a little old for Mirai? But they first meet when Mirai is well into his twenties, too, so Mirai decides he’s going to convince him otherwise.

The age gap between them logically didn’t grow any wider, but a now depowered Toshinori thinks even if he does survive past Mirai’s prophecy, he’s probably not going to live to ninety considering the state of his health, so really, he’s an even more unfitting match now (that, and considering Toshinori seems to be fighting with his self-image since he stopped being All Might, maybe he generally figures Mirai should have a better omega).

Mirai is an All Might megafan and considering Toshinori is older than him and has been a hero for a long time, he could have been one for quite a while, which may or may not have included some more... personal interest. What is it like to finally sleep with him (especially if it happens while they haven’t known each other for that long)? Does Toshinori live up to his expectations? Is it better? Different? Is it even public knowledge Toshinori is an omega? Does Mirai need a little time to adjust from fantasy to reality? I would like it if Mirai didn’t end up ultimately disappointed, lol.

ALL: A/B/O - BAMF Power Couple Alpha/Omega

Love this for them during their time as a team, especially since the expected roles are reversed, with the alpha being the brains and the omega the muscle.

How does this aspect play out when Toshinori is depowered? How do they continue to be a BAMF couple now that Toshinori can’t pull his weight on the physical side anymore?

In the days of Toshinori being at peak strength, does Mirai ever wonder if Toshinori would like an alpha who matches him in strength, or at least measures up to him? Does Toshinori make sure to clear up that misconception? After all, Mirai already matches him really well in his own way.

ALL: A/B/O - Alpha attracted to Omega they mistakenly assume is also Alpha

Maybe for one reason or another, Toshinori never talked about the fact that he’s an omega – either he leaves it up for speculation and people just believe he’s an alpha, or at the very least a beta who is embarrassed he’s not an alpha, or he actively has to lie because omegas don’t get hero licences in the first place and he was more focused on saving people than his personal stuff. However, even All Might’s biggest fan learns something new when he starts working with him. What does Mirai think about it?

Maybe Toshinori doesn’t tell Mirai rightaway because, well, he tells very few people and he doesn’t know him that well yet. So when they start flirting, Mirai is still unaware of his nature. When does Toshinori actually come out with the truth?

Maybe Mirai convinced Toshinori it’d be a good idea to tell people eventually? It’s very difficult to deny All Might’s successes by this point and might shift things for other omegas.

ALL: A/B/O - Elaborate courtship rituals

I just want to see them have fun with each other, basically! I feel since Toshinori can be quite boisterous and Mirai definitely enjoys that side of him (and can be pretty intense himself), this could have fun results.

I think when it comes to gifts, it might feel a bit... awkward to give someone merch of yourself? Maybe Toshinori gets over it, though, he’s used to fans. However, he might also read up on Preyure, that magical girl show that Mirai seemed to know a surprising amount about (if it’s anything like PreCure, there’s a lot to learn), to find an appropriate gift.

Are there any smutty courtship rituals that relate to heats or ruts? If this is later, can Toshinori still fully participate in heat rituals or has the injury messed with that part of him and now he has to pretend (and does it worry him or is he determined to do his best)? Or maybe the heat is still just as strong as before, but much harder to handle.

ALL: A/B/O - submission rituals

Speaking of smutty rituals (though not necessarily!)... what do omegas to show they will submit to their alphas? Are the rituals public or private?

Maybe omega Toshinori at peak All Might form worries that alpha Mirai feels a bit awkward next to him, so he does something like that for him. Mirai really doesn’t mind that Toshinori can fold him with one hand, but he still thinks the submission rituals are very hot.

If there are public rituals, maybe Toshinori used to avoid them because they might have conflicted with his image as the Symbol of Peace, which both he and Mirai thought very important. However, now that he’s not All Might anymore and him and Mirai are dating again, Toshinori decides he would like to engage in a little of this public ritual, too.

ALL: A/B/O - married purely for convenience until omega goes into heat

Omegas are supposed to get married at some point and Toshinori never did. Since his new sidekick is an alpha, they strike a deal that to keep Toshinori from all the weird questions, they’ll just get married for show. Only then Toshinori gets into heat and they both wish it was something more, or maybe just completely fail at the plan that Mirai was supposed to ignore Toshinori’s heat.

Toshinori took suppressants when he was All Might, but they’re too hard on his body now, so after he’s fully depowered, he eventually does starts going into heat for the first time in a long time. Mirai and him have always been married for convenience sake as in the prompt above, but now all their old and new feelings come to a boiling point.

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Male Sith Warrior/Cytharat

I love Cytharat! I’m very much into the noble, polite, upstanding kind of Sith and his romance was very cute – but way too short. Please fix it for me! I would love to see Cytharat’s and Wrath’s relationship develop beyond the kiss that they had in game and generally also learn more about who Cytharat is aside from a Lord who got disgraced by association with his master (or perhaps he actually did do a lot more than that for Darth Malgus’s rebellion, either out of loyalty or because he believed in his cause? It’s never made quite clear, which is interesting). I would also love for him to find a place in the Eternal Throne part of the timeline and beyond. For smut, I prefer bottom and sub Cytharat. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Cytharat. For A/B/O, I prefer omega Cytharat and alpha or beta Wrath.

If your story is set after “Mission to Nathema”, feel free to keep the Eternal Fleet around if you want to or find some other way to keep Wrath in the race between the factions. Wrath being forced to align with the Sith or Republic again is definitely also very interesting (and I don’t have a preference for who he chooses), but I similarly enjoy him being able to lead a third power. You can make Wrath human, cyborg, Zabrak, Sith Pureblood, or even another species if you can somehow make that fit with his backstory on Korriban. Personality-wise, the only thing I wouldn’t really enjoy is a crazy axe murderer type DS Sith – I prefer pragmatic evil, though Wrath can certainly indulge in wanton destruction here and there, being, well, Wrath. However, I’m also totally fine with him being as Light Side as you want, mix-and-matching choices, or deliberately going Grey, especially when it’s set later in the story and he realises there may be a chance for him to carve his own path with the Force.

SWTOR: Cytharat stays as a companion

Cytharat said that he wished “to fight as one” again. I want that, too! And I want them to actually fight side by side! Perhaps Wrath takes him on his ship, since Cytharat doesn’t have an assignment yet, or they run into each other again during some mission and Cytharat joins him after that. Rekindling the budding romance is of course very appreciated.

Despite his successes on Makeb, maybe the brass still doesn’t trust Cytharat. Wrath does, however, and it’s not like he doesn’t keep much weirder companions. He takes Cytharat on his ship, where they either a) dance around each other since especially an LS Wrath might not want to take advantage and Cytharat is too polite to push the Mighty Wrath, or b) fall into bed the first night and Cytharat just straight up moves into Wrath’s personal quarters. (Other combinations and ideas also welcome, of course.)

Honestly, just having Cytharat around as a romanceable companion with his own sidequests and opinions and relationships with the others on the Fury would be a lot of fun! I would love any glimpse of that.

SWTOR: Cytharat joins the Alliance

Cytharat and Wrath meet again during the formation of the Alliance, as Cytharat wants to help. It’s been over five years and they only had one kiss, so neither of them probably wants to make assumptions. Except, boy, did that kiss stick with both of them.

At first, Cytharat remains friendly with the Alliance, but thinks he has to be loyal to the Empire and following Wrath might just be a repeat of the Darth Malgus debacle (besides, they only kissed once and the fact that he’s still hung up on it is frankly kind of sad). Would love him finally throwing caution to the wind and run to join the Alliance (and possibly also run into Wrath’s arms).

For established relationship, I can’t see Cytharat stopping his search for Wrath if they were in a relationship by the time he got frozen. Cytharat being around for the scenes where it’s originally just Koth, Lana, and HK-55 to rescue Wrath would be awesome, especially since as a well-mannered, noble Sith he doesn’t seem the most natural fit for that ragtag gang.

ALL: Secret Marriage

Cytharat and Wrath got married after a whirwind romance following Makeb. They did not make this public because Wrath was worried it would put a target on Cytharat’s back with how unsteady the galaxy was at the moment. However, the proof of their marriage (maybe a token or holo or something) is how Cytharat convinces Lana to let him join the rescue mission after Wrath is taken by Zakuul.

I would also love to see the proposal, their little private wedding on the Fury, the wedding night, anything like that!

ALL: Secret Relationship Is Publicly Revealed

They kept their relationship secret mostly for Cytharat’s protection, but after reuniting at the Alliance, Cytharat convinces Wrath that he wants to stand by his side for better or worse (because he will, anyway). Wrath is quite charmed.

Or maybe they hadn’t quite planned to reveal it yet, maybe because their relationship is still fairly new or the aforementioned protection reason, but someone catches them (I feel like Wrath would just not be very good at this whole clandestine relationship thing). Neither of them minds terribly.

ALL: Characters initially meet at kink or sex club

I mean, passion is an emotion, right? I feel like this kind of thing would exist on Dromund Kaas. The two of them have amazing sex at a club, maybe even several times, but don’t exchange contacts, as it’s not the kind of place where that is common. Would love to read that or the aftermath, when they suddenly stand facing each other on Makeb, with Cytharat there as a potential traitor to the Empire. Cytharat is maximum embarrassed by this entire situation, but Wrath just thinks their entire interaction on Makeb speaks even more for him.

ALL: Characters in arranged marriage AU catch feelings

Maybe they were promised to each other (as kids or later), both being from old Sith families. Wrath’s life got too exciting to worry much about it, or maybe he actively wanted to avoid it, but when they meet on Makeb, he realises that this is his fiancé. Cytharat is probably ashamed that the first time he meets his prospective husband is like this, being entirely disgraced while his betrothed has risen to rank of Wrath. Except Wrath finds he really likes this man, actually.

After Makeb, maybe Cytharat is just thankful he managed to redeem himself in his betrothed Wrath’s eyes. He still thinks the marriage is off because – well, you don’t just get married to the Emperor’s Wrath, right? He’d like to, because he likes Wrath, but while he was a proper match for a promising young Sith, he’s not important enough for Wrath. Except then Wrath has him called to Dromund Kaas to attend their wedding.

ALL: Arranged Marriage - Marriage As Punishment To A Partner Of Lower Status

Maybe Wrath pissed off the Dark Council and now they think they will punish him by making him marry the disgraced Cytharat. If this is before they meet on Makeb, I’m sure Wrath still finds him perfectly charming. If this is afterwards, the entire thing is just very funny to Wrath. Oh no, not Cytharat, who he was trying to figure out how to see again, anyway. Cytharat might not find it so amusing at any point in the timeline, though, as he might worry Wrath is angry about the match. I’m sure Wrath can convince him otherwise.

All: Marriage Arranged Because of Matching Soulmarks

Perhaps someone on Dromund Kaas realises at some point that they’ve seen Wrath’s soulmark before, and as is tradition, people who have matching soulmarks must marry. The problem is that Cytharat is disgraced at this point and Wrath is either way on the rise or already, well, Wrath, so Cytharat is not at all sure about this match (for Wrath’s sake) and Wrath might have his reservations as well. However, it turns out Wrath’s soulmate is very easy to fall in love with.

ALL: Marriage by Winning Ritual Combat To Gain Partner's Hand

Perhaps this is a Red Sith tradition and if anyone could beat Cytharat one-to-one, it’s Wrath. When he hears about this challenge Cytharat has set after Makeb, he only gives Cytharat just enough time to heal before he makes his attempt asap.

If you have to beat Wrath to gain his hand, then, well, Wrath probably won’t get married anytime soon. However, maybe there’s a loophole? If he just throws his lightsaber on the ground and surrenders, that is a win for the other person, so maybe when Cytharat tries it, that’s exactly what he does.

ALL: Ritual Sex Required To Save The World

Sith magic works in mysterious ways! And has a lot to do with passionate emotions, so this makes sense, right? Something needs a specific kind of energy to be powered up and Cytharat and Wrath are the only people around, or at least the ones that make the most sense to do this, if they’ve already kissed. Is this their first time together? Do they actually enjoy it despite the responsibility that rests on their shoulders? Do they maybe go on for a bit longer than really needed?

ALL: Dominant/Submissive AU

Whether this is an AU where they just enjoy D/s, or a world where people are born as either Doms or subs, both is fun! If they just like D/s, how do they find out about it? I could see Cytharat being a little ashamed of it, being a strong proper Sith, but then again getting dominated by Wrath might be allowed? He is supposed to be a monstrous fighter, after all. Either way, eventually they end up having a lot of fun with it.

If this is a universe were people are born as Doms and subs, maybe Cytharat has always hidden his status and gotten very good at playing the Dom (which is necessary to rise to his rank), but eventually the truth is revealed to Wrath or Cytharat even tells him. Does Cytharat worry Wrath will reject him? I doubt Wrath would, though.

Cytharat is open about being a sub and very good at fighting off domination attempts. It becomes a playful and definitely flirtatious power struggle between him and Wrath.

ALL: Mpreg is rare AU

So rare they genuinely did not consider it an option, especially since Cytharat had experience with other men and it never happened. However, he’s pregnant by Wrath now. Were they already in a relationship and are happily preparing for the kid, despite it being a surprise? Are they FWB who are pining and have to figure that out first? Does Wrath get frozen during the pregnancy and then wakes up to meet his five year old child?

ALL: Alien race or races have a/b/o and humans do not

Omega Sith Purebloods go into heats because A/B/O is a thing for their species. The human Wrath hasn’t ever been with a Sith Pureblood who does before and he is very interested in learning what exactly it does to Cytharat. Whether this involves teasing and edging and trying to get Cytharat to lose his ample composure, or whether the Wrath is merciful and very eager to get hands-on, both is great as long as poor Cytharat does eventually get help.

Wrath learning what an alpha is and doing his best to imitate some gestures and rituals for Cytharat’s benefits would be charming, even though Cytharat thinks it’s not necessary.

ALL: Humans have a/b/o and alien races/societies do not

Human Wrath goes into a rut. Cytharat hasn’t ever been with a human before and is very interested in learning what exactly it does to Wrath. Whether this involves teasing and edging and until Wrath jumps him, or whether Cytharat is just eager to assist, both is great as long as poor Wrath can eventually get some help.

Cytharat figuring out what Wrath would like in an omega and adopting some of that would be really fun, too.

This would also be great, seeing them fight together or solve some problem in the Empire or with the Alliance. It might be unusual that Wrath’s omega happens to be a strong Sith Lord, but would you really expect any less from Wrath?

Maybe Cytharat hides the fact that he’s an omega because it might have meant he would never have been made apprentice and Wrath and him did only kiss, so it wasn’t revealed then. However, Wrath wants to pursue the relationship and Cytharat realises he has to tell him the truth, even if Wrath kills him or strips him of his title. Wrath happens to be quite understanding, though, and doesn’t mind at all.

Cytharat is known to be an omega, but he also doesn’t talk about it often because he has no reason to, especially not in places like Makeb. Because of this, the fact that he is kind of eludes Wrath until they start getting undressed. Is Cytharat worried Wrath won’t want him anymore because he was expecting an alpha? Wrath doesn’t mind, though.

ALL: A/B/O - Elaborate courtship rituals

Would love them just enjoying falling in love with each other after Makeb! Do humans and Red Sith have different A/B/O courtship rituals? Do they have fun learning about them?

ALL: A/B/O - submission rituals

This could either be private (and probably smutty) or some sort of public display in which Cytharat shows that he belongs to alpha Wrath. Both would be really fun. Did Wrath expect his proper mate to do something like that (private or public)? Or maybe it is exactly being very proper that leads to this sort of behaviour (because it’s traditional) and Wrath finds it really fascinating.

Maybe Cytharat and Wrath had a union arranged between their powerful Sith families and they didn’t think much would come of that, since they were both busy with separate lives. However, then Wrath does happen to be around for a heat and suddenly they realise they might be more compatible than they figured.

Cyberpunk 2077 (Video Game): Sandayu Oda/Goro Takemura

Takemura was one of my favourite side characters in this game and we didn’t see much of Oda, but I really enjoyed what we got. Though the dignified middle-aged bodyguard in the pretty suit and the cyberninja with the 2004 jrock hairdo and combat gear are quite the stark contrast, their attitudes are plainly very similar. Their backstory is great, too – that at some point Takemura started being a mentor to Oda, probably when it became clear he was destined for a higher position at Arasaka, and that their relationship then developed into a friendship that lasted for a quite a while before the beginning of the game. The push and pull of that friendship against the intense sense of duty these two have was great to watch. Since I don’t like major character death, I’d like both Takemura and Oda to survive (actually possible!). I’d also prefer if Oda were at least 20 when they first start to get to know each other. I prefer bottom and sub Takemura for smut. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Takemura, and for A/B/O, I prefer omega Takemura and alpha or beta Oda.

All: Character gets another character’s help that they didn’t get in canon

This could be an interesting AU where Oda decides to trust Takemura for whatever reason. Perhaps he already noticed Yorinobu trying to push Hanako out or kill her, or he happened to catch a bit of security footage of the murder and feels like he can’t ignore it for Hanako’s safety, anything like that. How would it have changed things? And are they already together, or do they start to get closer in this unusual situation?

ALL: Characters pretend to be a couple/married to solve cases so often that they catch feelings

Maybe it happens to be an effective strategy for information gathering! They are just very good at playing at being a couple. There may be other reasons for that than their professional talents, though.

Always a fan of “undercover in a sex/kink club”, too, just in case you feel like taking the prompt in a smutty direction. That would definitely be a good catalyst for them to realise this has gone beyond pretending.

ALL: Characters initially meet at kink or sex club

Takemura is careful never to go to these types of clubs anywhere he could be easily recognised, but he’s travelling with Saburo to [another city in Japan] and allows himself a brief visit to a club there, where he meets a young man that he very much gets along with. They part after a very exciting evening. Back in Tokyo, Takemura is informed he’ll soon meet a new hopeful currently stationed in [said other city in Japan] who is said to be headed for great things. Turns out Oda and him have met before.

Maybe Oda wants to let loose a little since he knows he’ll soon be in a position where he won’t have much time for this sort of thing. Takemura, on the other hand, just ended up in the wrong club because he wanted a drink, but also doesn’t care enough to leave. They get to talking and more... and a week later, Oda starts his new job and gets introduced to his mentor, whom he has definitely met before.

ALL: Marriage Interrupted by Failed Assassination Attempt and Continues After

Perhaps a rival company like Militech tries to crash the wedding and Oda and Takemura have to defend themselves on their wedding day.

If they are not with Arasaka anymore, Arasaka could be trying to make use of a moment of weakness and attack on their wedding day. I’m sure Takemura and Oda still know how to defend themselves, though, and don’t go anywhere without some way to practice self-defence.

ALL: Marriage by Winning Ritual Combat To Gain Partner's Hand

Takemura knows he can’t have a spouse who can’t keep up with him, since he already has to protect Saburo, so he set this challenge. Alternatively, Takemura just didn’t want to get married and this was his way of solving that problem because he knew he probably can’t be beaten so easily. Then Oda decides to give it a try and Takemura is interested for the first time in a long time.

No one has challenged Takemura in years, since it’s clear they won’t win, and Takemura figures people mostly forgot about this contest. However, Oda heard about it and challenges him.

Oda has playfully challenged Takemura several times over the years while he was his mentee and always lost. However, as he grows in skill and power, they eventually find themselves in a situation where Oda wins. Takemura immediately tries to release him from the obligation, but to his surprise (and delight), Oda actually wants the prize.

Maybe it’s Oda who set the challenge. Is he well-aware that the only person in the Arasaka compound who has a chance to beat him is probably Takemura? Does Takemura realise this rightaway, or does he think Oda is doing this to keep suitors off his back and thus needs a little nudging to go try his luck?

ALL: Sex as a normal part of training

I admit I don’t know why it would be, so this falls under Porn Logic Prompts, but maybe they want Arasaka agents to be good for honeypot missions as well? Or maybe you can think of another reason, I’m not picky! Either way, Takemura is Oda’s mentor, so naturally he has to tutor him in this, too. Though maybe it eventually becomes obvious they’re spending a peculiar amount of time refinining this particular aspect of Oda’s training...

Maybe Oda thought he’d look for ways to get out of this part of training, as he has up to this point, but once he realises that he is, in fact, going to be mentored by Saburo’s silver fox bodyguard who also happens to be super charming in his own honourable, stern way, he suddenly is quite adamant that he wants the full package (even if Takemura was willing to drop it).

ALL: Dominant/Submissive AU

I enjoy Doms who are new to D/s but very enthusiastic with experienced subs, so Takemura training an eager Oda to be his Dom would be awesome. This is probably years into their friendship, and if they’re together, even some time into their relationship, because Takemura wouldn’t trust just anybody to make him defenceless – it could compromise Arasaka, after all. Oda knows what a great privilege it is and that trust turns him on even more.

Oda was happy to be Takemura’s mentee in this, too, but eventually, he decides he wants to take the reins and surprise him with something Takemura hasn’t taught him.

On the other hand, I also like the idea that Oda likes to Dom and when he gets with Takemura, he asks about it and Takemura agrees to try subbing and finds out he enjoys it a lot. Or maybe it’s not something Oda admits at first, thinking Takemura just won’t go for it, and Takemura finds out accidentally, but turns out to be open to the idea if it is with Oda.

This could also be a D/s AU where people are born as sub and Dom. Is it known that Takemura is a sub? If it is, maybe some people doubt him at first – maybe even Oda does. He quickly learns that Takemura cannot be easily dominated. However, as they grow closer over time, Takemura considers letting him do it.

For a D/s AU, Takemura closely guards the secret that he is a sub, but Oda ends up finding out or Takemura eventually tells him. This does nothing to lessen Oda’s crush on Takemura (but also, to Takemura’s surprise, nothing to lessen his respect for Takemura, either).

ALL: Characters in arranged marriage AU catch feelings

Saburo decides that it would make sense to formalise the connection between his bodyguard and his daughter’s, since she is the favoured child and he wants her to carry forward his ideals and/or he wants to give her this as a sign of trust and/or something else. While there’s surely many interesting, subtle company politics reasons for which he could be doing this, Takemura and Oda have to deal with the direct fallout, namely that they are now husbands.

If their marriage was arranged without any input of them, do they decide from the start to just stay friends and then start massively pining eventually? Or do they actually want to give it a shot as lovers and find it works out very well for them?

Takemura and Oda both face down the idea that they’re going to be asked to pick a nice Arasaka spouse just to make sure their loyalties are never divided. They’re loyal to the cause, of course, but not enthused about the prospect. Eventually, they decide it’s best just to marry each other, whether it’s as a cover or because they figure it’s the best option. Either way, they fall in love.

I could also see only Oda facing this order from Hanako, and Takemura, being older and still a little protective, decides that he will be Oda’s cover because he feels Oda is too young to have to choose like that (or just because he’s his friend... I mean, we don’t actually know how young Oda is, considering anti-aging technology). The plan was that Oda can still date freely while married, but it turns out they then soon fall in love for real.

ALL: Arranged Marriage - Marriage As Punishment To A Partner Of Lower Status

Perhaps Takemura made a mistake or Saburo thinks he needs to be reminded of his status because his rise in the company has been so quick, so Saburo decides that for the arranged Arasaka marriage, he’s going to give Takemura to some younger guy without much pedigree or status in the company yet, namely Oda. However, it turns out that Takemura’s husband is too proud to want to remain the punishment, and Takemura actually finds himself liking his ambition and decides to train him (and finds out eventually that he likes many things about him, and vice versa).

Or maybe Oda doesn’t even know he’s supposed to be a punishment and only finds out later. How does Takemura smooth over Oda’s ruffled feathers and remind him they’re actually getting along fine now and that Oda is climbing the ladder (to the point that he probably won’t be lower status eventually)?

ALL: Secret Marriage

I assume, as loyal as they are, they are not keeping their marriage a secret from Saburo and Hanako, but maybe that’s about the amount of people who know that they are married. However, perhaps if V is really pissed after the boss battle, Takemura can reveal this secret to keep him from killing Oda?

The proposal would be great to see here, too, if you want to go pre-canon.

I’d love to hear about their secret wedding, too! I assume it was just the two of them, but did they find a way to make it special? Something relating to the wedding night would also be great if you want to go for smut.

I’d also be here for a light-hearted fic of their subordinates (maybe even with outsider POV?) gossiping and trying to figure out if the two of them are in a relationship. Do they manage to find out?

ALL: Vampire: The Masquerade AU

I’ve really liked the World of Darkness since forever, so seeing it crossed over with Cyberpunk 2077 would be fun. Are Takemura and Oda Kuei-jin or Kindred or humans? Maybe Takemura becomes Oda’s sire when Oda is deemed ready to join the upper echelons of the Arasaka family? Or maybe they’re both Kindred of different types clans, but find their differing strengths match each other very well?

ALL: Edo Era AU

These two are already cosplaying samurai and ninja, so it would be great to see how they would fare in an Edo era setting. I especially would love it if Takemura was still Oda’s mentor because it would mean that this honourable samurai can be a trainer to a ninja, which Oda might not expect at all. Otherwise, feel free to include all the court intrigues and battles and whatever else you can think of! Bonus also for costume porn, I would love to read about them (or see them, in case of a drawing) in traditional clothing.

ALL: Mpreg is rare AU

Mpreg is so rare that they did not think they needed protection (especially since Takemura has never gotten pregnant before and isn’t exactly a young, inexperienced man). Now Takemura is pregnant. Where do they go from here? Have they even admitted they want to be boyfriends yet or are they pining FWB? Maybe Takemura is pregnant when he goes on the run? How does that change things? Maybe it makes him and Oda doubt whether they should return to Arasaka and raise their child there? (The answer could go either way here.)

ALL: Male character gets pregnant via nonconsensual scientific experimentation

As done by Arasaka. They think Takemura is going to stay loyal, anyway. He does at first, but he’s quite unhappy, especially if this is after his time with V, which reminded him that there might be other paths. Oda, too, is worried about Takemura. However, the two of them start to feel somewhat parental towards the foetus. Were they already together or do they get together like this?

Oda and Takemura deciding that they don’t want their child to be treated as a science experiment, or Arasaka deciding they want to terminate the pregnancy because the experiment doesn’t interest them anymore or didn’t have the outcome they wanted (perhaps they wanted a special baby and this one is quite normal), prompting Takemura and Oda to become protective of their child – both would be great reasons for Takemura and Oda to leave Arasaka together.

ALL: A/B/O - Younger Alpha/Older Omega

Would love this for them! Is it unusual for the alpha to be significantly younger than the omega? Does Takemura stop himself from flirting with Oda even though he wants to because of that, but Oda is all in?

Maybe Takemura does flirt with him a little bit but doesn’t really believe that a young alpha in his twenties is ever going to be seriously interested. Oda proves him wrong.

I mean, these two are perfect for that. I would love to see them kick ass together. Do some people make the dangerous mistake of underestimating Takemura, giving them a leg up because their less prepared enemies are only focused on Oda?

It actually is rather common knowledge that Takemura is an omega, but that’s also why nobody talks about it and Oda just misses that fact. How does he find out, in the end? Maybe Takemura or someone else makes an offhand remark? Maybe he only realises when the clothes come off?

Maybe Takemura is worried Oda is not interested in him anymore now, since he thought he was actively pursuing an alpha, but Oda actually doesn’t mind at all.

Oda finds out because Takemura goes into heat unexpectedly, maybe because his suppressors failed. Despite the surprise, Oda is still very happy to help out.

Takemura and Oda were married because it’s not considered proper for an omega to be Takemura’s age and unmarried, but it’s an arrangement made by Arasaka or a decision they made that’s supposed to be purely platonic/for appearances. Then Takemura goes into heat. Maybe they planned to ignore that and then the pining just spills over, or maybe Takemura didn’t even have heats anymore but his suppressants failed, and now he needs Oda’s help (which Oda is very happy to give). Do they say or do something during the heat that makes it hard to pretend they’re not in love? Or does it take them a little while longer still to catch on?

Yuri!!! on Ice: Christophe Giacometti/Georgi Popovich

I know they didn’t meet in the series – well, they did on the podium, I guess! –, but considering they’re “veterans” who are pretty close in age, I’m sure these two have run into each other time and again. With Georgi being all about romance and Christophe all about sex, they have a lot of passion (and potential for drama) between the two of them and I’m just really here for all of it. They could meet up at competitions, training camps, or Chris could just switch to Yakov’s rink, or Georgi come to train in Switzerland at Chris’s rink. For smut, I prefer bottom and sub Georgi. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Georgi. For A/B/O, I prefer omega Georgi and alpha or beta Chris.

ALL: Character finds out they have a child they didn't know about

Generally, whichever one of them it is, I would love it if this also included becoming the primary caretaker for the child now just to make the situation even more difficult. Maybe the mother doesn’t have time or generally doesn’t want much to do with the kid.

This feels like something that could happen to Chris pretty easily. He had a fling (maybe in Russia? Then he’d have a good reason to hastily move to St. Petersburg, since he doesn’t want to uproot the child to a country where they don’t speak the language, in case the kid is old enough to speak...), and eventually he hears that it had consequences. Chris does want to take responsibility now that he knows, but it’s difficult with his career. Luckily, Georgi happens to be around to help...

I don’t really see Georgi as a fling sort of guy, but it could be him as well, since he’s had girlfriends before. Hell, maybe it’s even Anya who drops a newborn baby on his doorstep like “here, see you never”. It just so happens Chris is in Russia at the moment and very good with kids.

Have Chris and Georgi been together for a while when this happens and now worry the other will want out of the relationship? Or maybe they get together while accidentally co-parenting this child?

ALL: Characters initially meet at kink or sex club

I doubt their very first meeting is at a kink or sex club, considering they’re quite close in age and on the competition circuit, but maybe they didn’t pay very much attention to each other in their younger years, at least not to the point that they would recognise each other in the twilight or at a masquerade party (I feel like Georgi especially might be a little out of his element in a club like that and feel better if he got to hide a little). However, as they both seem to be firmly in the top twenty of male singles skaters eventually, they probably start to catch on to the fact that they have seen each other before...

Or maybe it really was very dark and the fact that they’ve slept together is something they only work out by accident one day during a drunken conversation after a banquet.

ALL: Dominant/Submissive AU

Would like this both with them just being Dom and sub in the regular way, or with a D/s AU where people are born as Doms and subs. For the former, Chris being an experienced Dom and Georgi a new but very interested sub would be cute.

Maybe Chris is into Domming, but since Georgi is such a consummate romantic and really quite vanilla, he hasn’t yet found a way to bring it up. No need, as Georgi ends up finding some very obviously not-vanilla toys. Georgi has no experience, but he wants to please Chris and he ends up quite enjoying himself, too.

If this is the type of AU where people are born as Dom and sub, I could see Georgi being someone who really throws himself into his role as sub and maybe feels like he’s floundering a little after Anya leaves suddenly. Chris and him talk at the Internationaux de France and Chris offers a hand, being a Dom... it was supposed to be platonic, but then it kind of escalates and the sex is so good the really can’t keep their hands off each other all season whenever they meet. No problem, right? They live in different countries. Except then Chris needs a new coach and moves to Yakov’s rink...

If they are born as Dom and sub, maybe Chris just really likes teasing Georgi because he reacts so well to it. Only, that teasing eventually starts to grow more and more intense and they stumble towards something more serious. That, or Georgi eventually asks him to stop and is very visibly flustered (because he’s starting to like it too much), and Chris says it doesn’t have to be just joking around...

ALL: Ballet Dancer AU

This would be really fun! How would their positions as skaters translate into a Ballet Dancer AU? Is Georgi the second fiddle to the principal dancer Victor? Does Chris dance with a smaller troupe back in Switzerland? Does he eventually join up with Yakov/Lilia’s team? Or maybe Georgi is the one who switches because he wants to get out of Victor’s shadow? Could the two of them dance a lover’s ballet (maybe at a modern retelling of a ballet with same-sex leads)?

ALL: SK8 The Infinity-Style Skateboarding Races AU

What if instead of figure skaters, they were involved in illegal skateboard races? I would love to know their code names, see/read about their costumes (maybe something inspired by their figure skating costumes or designs?) and boards, and just generally have Chris and Georgi get together while doing cool skateboard tricks.

If skateboarding is their main sport here, they’d probably have day jobs like the guys in SK8. What would that be? Is it something that brings Georgi and Chris closer together, too?

Georgi wants to run a beef against Chris to prove he can at least keep up with him. Chris agrees, but only on the condition that Georgi will go on a date with him if he loses. Georgi accepts.

ALL: Assassin's Creed Fusion

This is always fun. Figure skaters by day, fighting Abstergo by night! Leaps of Faith! Running over rooftops! Searching for Isu artefacts! Are Josef and Yakov the leaders of Assassin chapters as well as figure skating coaches? (Or maybe just one of them is and the other doesn’t know what his student(s) get/s up to.)

Two people who are already kind of crushing on each other in the real world reliving the memories of their respective ancestors who were lovers in the Animus is also always great.

I would also love this in combination with a historical AU. How do Chris and Georgi meet up? Maybe Chris is sent up north for an important mission by his chapter of the brotherhood?

Assassin’s Creed tends to have a lot of double-crossing and backstabbing. Maybe one of them is a secret Templar double agent, but eventually turns on the Templars? Or they’re a very not-secret Templar, but get seduced (literally or figuratively) to the other side.

ALL: Urban Fantasy AU

Witch Georgi is something I really enjoy and incubus Chris makes way too much sense (whether both happens simultaneously or one is a human), but I’m also here for vampires, werewolves, elves, and all the other stuff you find in urban fantasy, plus the general vibe of like... monsters, but make it sexy. Working in Russian or Swiss folklore would also be great! A world where magic is not known would be just as interesting as one where people have just kind of learned to coexist with myths.

ALL: Fantasy AU

However, I also enjoy traditional fantasy, whether that be high fantasy or low fantasy that could basically just count as alternative medieval history to another world or something, or a mix between the two, or something that feels more like a fairy tale. What roles would these two have? Georgi as a feared witch, or a younger prince of Tsar Yakov? Chris as a charming rogue or nobleman? Maybe something completely different? And how do they get to know each other?

ALL: Cyberpunk AU

Could be cyberpunk the genre or Cyberpunk 2077 the video game/roleplaying game. I’d love to see Chris and Georgi (and the rest of the gang) as mercs/solos, but I’d also be interested in how figure skating would develop in a cyberpunk world (for example, would all figure skaters have sponsored implants and jump quints?). You can also go real out there with it and make Georgi and Victor, like, differing versions of the same AI program by Feltsman Inc. living in android bodies, with Victor being the better version, and Chris being a human who befriended both, or something like that. Generally, I’d just love to see Chris and Georgi find their way to each other.

ALL: Mass Effect setting

I would love to see them as Alliance soldiers or as inhabitants of an interesting place with differing jobs, like Omega or the Citadel.

I do love the idea of Georgi being an L2 biotic (probably to Victor’s much more effective L3 biotic) and having some of the side effects of that, worrying that he might eventually snap as well. Can Chris help him keep stable?

You don’t have to include the Reaper invasion, but if you want to set it during that time of the ME series, it would be great to see them doing big (or smaller, but still meaningful) hero things.

Mass Effect setting could also mean Mass Effect: Andromeda, so maybe they could be the crew of Pathfinder Victor’s ship (or Pathfinders themselves, or at least one of them is), or members of an APEX Team, or otherwise settlers from the Nexus?

ALL: Dragon Age AU

This would also be fun! Which class and specialisation would they have? Where do they come from (I think Dragon Age is missing both fantasy Russia and fantasy Switzerland, but Chris would definitely thrive as an Orlesian)? Do they join the Warden, the Inquisition, or Hawke? Is one of them the Warden or the Inquisitor? How do they meet? Or do they have their own adventures away from the main plots of the series?

ALL: Star Wars fusion

I know most about the SWTOR timeline of Star Wars, but I’ve also seen all main line movies plus Rogue One and Han Solo, so either would be fun! Are one or both of them Force sensitive? Light or Dark Side? If they’re on differing sides, I would like it if one could bring the other over to theirs for a happy end.

For a more concrete prompt, I could see Georgi as the less distinguished Padawan of Master Yakov and Chris as a sort of friendly smuggler or trader, a Han Solo type character. How do Yakov’s students run into Chris?

ALL: Pacific Rim AU

Those are always great! How do Georgi and Chris end up in a Jaeger? Maybe Georgi used to drift with Victor, but Victor ditched him for Yuuri? However, Chris also is without a co-pilot right now, so they try out drifting together (or, more dramatically, someone needs to pilot a Jaeger right now because a kaiju is coming! Oh no, no team is around! Well, then the two of us must try it!). Or any other reason you can think of for them to end up in the sam robot! Really, I’d just love to see them pilot together.

ALL: Vampire: The Masquerade AU

This would definitely be interesting. What kind of Kindred would they be? Toreador would be very fitting for either of them, since they’re both artists, but Georgi also feels a little Malkavian to me. However, maybe you have a totally different idea for them, and I’d love to see it.

If you’d like to keep them figure skating, feel free to make it a VtM AU without the effect sun has on vampires. There are quite a few vampire canons where sunlight doesn’t matter, after all.

ALL: Westeros AU

Yuri on Ice is quite the fluffy, funny canon, so it would be interesting to see what would happen if you transplanted these poor people into the setting of A Song of Ice and Fire (incidentally, feel free to have mentions of noncon in this one as long as it doesn’t involve the characters from YoI since, well, this is Westeros, after all). Whether you want to slot them into the story as it happens in the books or just work with the general setting, I’d love to see a romance develop for them in that more fraught type of world.

ALL: Mpreg is rare AU

So rare they did not think it was something they had to worry about! But if Georgi had no prior experience with men, he might not have known he’s one of the lucky few. Were they already in a relationship and are happily preparing for the kid, despite it being a surprise? Are they FWB who are pining and have to figure that out first? And how does Georgi deal with the fact that keeping the child means he’ll likely have to end his competitive career? He was never likely going to be on the ice for very much longer, but this is pretty abrupt.

ALL: A/B/O - Elaborate courtship rituals

I just think this would be cute for them! Maybe the alpha is usually supposed to be responsible for the big courtship gestures, but Georgi loves doing them, even though he’s an omega. Fortunately, alpha Chris also enjoys being spoiled.

I feel like omega Georgi would be very happy to submit to his alpha with some elaborate gesture. Maybe it’s very old-fashioned to do so and no omega has actually ever done that for alpha Chris, either? He finds that he very much enjoys it, though...

ALL: A/B/O - Alpha attracted to Omega they mistakenly assume is also Alpha

If this is an A/B/O universe where omegas are oppressed, maybe Georgi just always lied about being an alpha so he was allowed to skate competitively (or, if it is allowed, he knows he’d just always get underscored heavily as an omega), so naturally it’s not something a lot of people know. However, he begins to get along with alpha Chris and he’ll have to tell him eventually...

Maybe it is known Georgi is an omega, but alpha Chris just made a wrong assumption/misunderstood something somewhere down the line and when they go to bed the first time, they have to quickly sort out what’s actually happening now because Georgi was under the assumption Chris knew he was an omega. Does Georgi worry if Chris is still interested at all? I’m sure Chris wouldn’t mind, though.

Dragon Age: Dorian Pavus/Felix Alexius

Dorian says it’s an odd question when you ask him if he was involved with Felix, but I don’t think it is at all. They seemed fond of each other and Dorian obviously had nothing but the highest regard for him. Besides, Felix did say he liked trouble! For smut, I prefer bottom and sub Felix. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Felix. For A/B/O, I prefer omega Felix and alpha or beta Dorian.

Since I’m not into character death, I’d prefer if the fic wasn’t all about the tragedy of Felix’s looming demise or about said death. It could be set before he was infected or in a Felix Lives AU. Oh, and if you do decide to save him somehow, feel free to include all the angst about his (soon to be averted) death. I just don’t like it if the death actually follows. As for Dorian’s relationships with Iron Bull or The Inquisitor, should you choose to set the fic during/past DA:I, it’d be great if they were very clearly broken up by the time he gets to Felix, or he didn’t romance either of them. It would also be nice if Dorian isn’t in love with either of these dudes anymore (though him still being bitter or disillusioned about love if it ended badly, as well as Felix believing that Dorian is still in love or that he couldn’t give Dorian what he got from his former lovers, are totally fine).

ALL: Canonically Dead Character Survives

A general vibe for a lot of these prompts, but I also would love a fic that focuses on this in particular, especially if Felix has a close brush with death, but somehow it can be turned around. Give me the drama! Give me Dorian sitting at his bedside, or frantically trying to throw together a spell that he found just in time! Give me desperate kissing when Felix wakes up!

ALL: Characters pretend to be a couple/married so often that they catch feelings

Maybe this is something they do in Tevinter when visiting certain seedy establishments (that Dorian is more familiar with than Felix, most likely) to gather information, or even in Orlais/Ferelden while with the Inquisition. It’s quite difficult to ignore the fact that they just fit together very well...

The spontaneous “someone saw us lurking in the backyard, quick let’s make out to make them think we’re here for private purposes” is also always appreciated.

ALL: Ritual Sex Required To Save The World

What can I say, Tevinter (and honestly many other) magic rituals are very weird! Perhaps there are some stipulations that make Felix and Dorian the only possible candidates, or they just happen to be the only ones around to stop this big magical disaster from happening. And maybe the sex is just a little too good/passionate to never talk about it again...

ALL: Different First Meeting - Mistaken for a Hooker and Goes With It

Because of the weird way Tevinter is structured (you can have a lower-class same-sex lover, but not a same-sex partner who is about equal to you), Felix realises his best bet for a first experiment with men might be to go to a brothel, since at least the people there will get something for their trouble. He gets to chatting with Dorian, who is also there as a customer, but because he’s so flirty Felix thinks he’s one of the prostitutes. Dorian finds this mistake hilarious and also this nervous newbie nobleman is cute, so he sleeps with him. Then they meet up again when Felix’s father brings him to the house.

Maybe it’s Felix who is mistaken for a prostitute! He might accidentally wear something (a colour, a piece of clothing) that marks him as one without knowing as he ventures into a tavern, or he’s at a brothel, but not really working up the nerve to talk to someone, and Dorian thinks he’s waiting for a customer. Since Dorian is very handsome, Felix decides that even with his (probably quite sparse or nonexistent) experience with men, he will give it a shot, and they have a lot of fun together. They both figure it’s no strings attached until they meet again at the Alexius estate.

Just how awkward is it that Gereon Alexius might have found Dorian in the same brothel where he and Felix first met? How happy is Felix not to have run into his father? How many jokes does Dorian make about this?

ALL: Marriage Interrupted by Failed Assassination Attempt and Continues After

Could be random enemies if it’s still with the Inquisition, or Tevinter traditionalists if it’s back at home. Either way, I’d be happy if they were dispatched and the wedding can continue. Dorian isn’t going to let a little blood on his robe keep him from marrying his lover...

ALL: Soulmates - socially inappropriate soulmate

So, what do people in Tevinter do if two guys or two girls end up being soulmates? If they’re both nobles, they can’t interpret it as romantic. Maybe there’s a special rule that’s like, well, in that circumstance you always, without fail happen to be platonic soulmates for no adequately explained reason! But it’s still kind of uncomfortable all around and you’re supposed to ignore it. How can Dorian and Felix, though, since they get on like a house on fire?

Dorian and Felix getting to celebrate that Dorian won’t have to live without a soulmate (and that Felix is staying alive, of course). Maybe there was a change to Dorian’s soulmate mark while Felix was sick (it was fading?) and now it changes back? Or maybe this is one of those AUs where Dorian felt some of Felix’s pain (and it was not pleasant) and Felix feels very guilty about that.

ALL: Male character gets pregnant by magic

Maybe this was a spell that Dorian discovered by accident and that backfired on Felix. Cue the shock when they realise what has happened. Are they already together or does this become the catalyst?

Maybe mpreg/fpreg magic has been invented in Tevinter. Great, now Dorian can marry a highborn, magically talented dude he hates and doesn’t want to spend an hour with. Except, of course, he chooses to use the spell on Felix, despite all the danger of creating a child who can’t do magic. Did Felix expect this, or is he somewhat touched regardless of always believing that Dorian respected him? After all, Dorian proves he truly does not care by risking his own strong magic lineage.

ALL: Mpreg is rare AU

Mpreg happens sometimes, but far too rarely for people in Tevinter to stake marriages on it, or even for Felix and Dorian to think they have to be careful. Except then Felix does get pregnant...

ALL: Characters Marry So Pregnant Character's Baby Won't Be Born Out of Wedlock

Mpreg is probably not a common thing, or Dorian’s whole story wouldn’t be as it is, but maybe through a magic accident related to the torn Veil or a new spell Dorian was testing, Felix does end up pregnant with Dorian’s child. They decide they should legitimise their kid so it can have their inheritance at some point. However, being pragmatic about it doesn’t stop the pining... do they realise they both want more than just a marriage for the child’s sake?

山河令 | Word of Honor: Rong Changqing/Ye Baiyi

I just think Ye Baiyi is great: abrasive, straight to the point, but you can tell, in the end, that he does care. Rong Changqing doesn’t appear in the show, but just from what you can piece together from the way Ye Baiyi talks of him, it’s clear that he was massively influential for Ye Baiyi. Ye Baiyi seems to have lived with him for a long time, he raised his son, he carries his sword, he feel compelled to deal with his Ghost Valley, and depending on how much you pull from the source text, Ye Baiyi’s immortality only happened because he wanted to save Rong Changqing’s life, and either way Rong Changqing is intertwined with it. You can definitely include information from Faraway Wanderers here, too, since what we get in the show isn’t exactly a lot: stuff like that they were childhood friends, that Rong Changquing was this passionate, outgoing and charming man, since I really would love to see how that kind of person would play off Ye Baiyi! However, you can also go wild with what little we got in Word of Honor and fill out the blank space they left however you want, I’d be interested in that as well. For smut, I prefer bottom and sub Ye Baiyi. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Ye Baiyi. For A/B/O, I prefer omega Ye Baiyi and alpha or beta Rong Changqing.

ALL: Fix-It AU

This could mean Rong Changqing never has the great idea of creating the Ghost Valley at all and instead Ye Baiyi and him live together doing normal things and Rong Changqing realises eventually that he is in love with him.

Or maybe he does create the Ghost Valley, but unexpectedly, Ye Baiyi’s attempt to save him/their attempt to make Rong Changqing immortal does create a loop where they both become immortal. So they can actually suppress the ghost valley as needed and make it the good place it was meant to be. In this version, Rong Changqing also never gets married, so him and Ye Baiyi have reason and time to think about why they managed to dual cultivate like that.

Honestly, who knows, maybe all it needed was for Ye Baiyi to actually confess his feeling (before Rong Changqing is married, please). Perhaps Rong Changqing just always thought Ye Baiyi was uninterested in romance and thus never considered him an option.

ALL: Reincarnation

Reincarnation is a pretty big topic in both the prequel of the source text and even the source text itself (Gu Xiang and Cao Weining, sob), so I think this would be interesting here. Maybe just before dying, Rong Changqing realises that Ye Baiyi was always the one, after all? So he hangs back waiting for him in the underworld. When Ye Baiyi meets him there before the Bridge of Helplessness, is he maybe a bit apprehensive of tying himself to Rong Changqing for yet another lifetime? It caused him a lot of heart-ache last go around. But in the end, he has always loved him... (Requested Character Death DNW wouldn't apply in this case, of course.)

I would also love to see them reincarnated and running into each other again, and hey, maybe this time it can work out? Would prefer if they were both still the same gender and had the same personality, but they can be both men or both women. Do they remember anything from the previous lifetime? Or maybe there’s just a vague feeling? Maybe it’s nothing at all and they just start their romance unburdened by the past.

ALL: One night stand reveals or results in feelings

Maybe they were drunk, maybe they were sex-pollened, maybe it was a spur-of-the-moment decision one night. Ye Baiyi thinks it’s the best he will ever get from Rong Changqing and doesn’t expect anything to come of it; Rong Changqing, who has always had a crush on Ye Baiyi, too, assumes they’re now going to be partners, of course!

Or Rong Changqing really wasn’t in love with Ye Baiyi before, but sleeping with him alerted him to another side of their relationship and now he’s falling fast.

ALL: Same-sex marriage possible in homophobia-free AU of canon time period

I would love to see them get married! Whether it’s a marriage for themselves on the cultivation mountain or a livelier affair, it would be really sweet.

ALL: heist-style story but fantasy setting

I’m interpreting fantasy setting as the canon setting of the show here, but if you want to introduce dragons and ghosts and magic, I’m also very happy for that! Generally, I’d just like to see Ye Baiyi and Rong Changquing on a quest in their younger days. I bet they had a lot of fun together (even with Ye Baiyi complaining on the way) and were a holy menace to all, basically. Maybe they’re stealing some important tome or weapon back from bad guys? How do they go about it? And maybe something happens on the way to reveal their attraction to each other?

All: Arranged Marriage AU

Maybe Rong Changqing and Ye Baiyi were in the same sect together? And someone high up there gets the smart idea that the genius weaponsmith and the outstanding martial artist should marry!

Ye Baiyi always struck me as a wild, lonely child, the type of person who didn’t grow up with any adults bothering to check in on them. Maybe now that he’s been absorbed into a sect, the sect leader decides he would like to keep this spectacular talent close and what better way than to make the feral orphan, now grown up, part of the family? They marry him to Rong Changqing, who (for the purposes of this), is much closer related to the core sect.

Is Ye Baiyi already in love with Rong Changqing at this point and feels bad that he will likely enjoy this more than him? Is Rong Changqing already in love, but also a bit apprehensive because Ye Baiyi doesn’t seem thrilled, and now they’re mutually pining? How do they figure that out? Or maybe Rong Changqing starts out agreeing with Ye Baiyi’s proposal they’ll just do this platonically because he only cares for Ye Baiyi as a friend, but then Rong Changqing slowly starts to fall for him. Who ends up confessing?

WoH: Ye Baiyi is a Catboy

Well, I have no excuse for this one. I just think Ye Baiyi is prickly and will grudgingly return to you if you feed him, so this kind of makes sense, absolutely. Rong Changqing scritching him behind the ears encouraged.

If you want there to be something more plotty attached to Ye Baiyi’s Catboy-ness, maybe humans with animal features are rare and there are some myths about them (either they’re considered somewhat dangerous/wild, or maybe lucky, and that’s why people often try to capture them, or cut off their animal parts to keep them as talismans). However, Rong Changqing is someone who treats Ye Baiyi like a normal person (occasional petting nonwithstanding), which Ye Baiyi has always really liked about him. Then, perhaps someone tries to kill or kidnap Ye Baiyi?

ALL: Everything is the Same Except Some People Have Wings

Honestly not picky who has wings here! White wings would definitely fit Ye Baiyi’s floaty white clothing, but Rong Changqing enthusiastically grabbing Ye Baiyi and dragging him into the air for spontaneous flights would also be great. Stuff like dealing with the intimacy of assisting with wing grooming is always appreciated, too.

The variation where a character has hidden wings that they reveal just in time to save someone from falling to their death is also great (I mean, to be fair, all of these people can already pretty much fly, anyway, but maybe this is the sort of fall where you really do need wings to survive it).

ALL: Rock Band AU

I feel like Rong Changqing has the bad decision making skills needed for a real rock star, and Ye Baiyi has the attitude. But Rong Changqing also seemed like sort of a wild child, so this really fits both of them (maybe Ye Baiyi is even the slightly more reasonable one between them and keeps Rong Changqing from breaking his neck). I don’t know, I just would love to see them being celebrated illegal skateboard racers, maybe with Rong Changqing being the one who has a knack for building and fine-tuning skateboards. Oh, and it would be great if they kissed, too...

However, maybe Rong Changqing is just worried Ye Baiyi would be annoyed with him if he also became just another suitor... can they clear up the misunderstanding?

Omegas are legally property, so Rong Changqing ‘owns’ Ye Baiyi to make things easier (well, in the few instances when Ye Baiyi isn’t just willing to take the fight head-on when someone questions him about his owner). He thinks Rong Changqing will probably want a normal, obedient omega at some point, after all, not someone who acts like an alpha. Obviously, Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing are a great couple and I really enjoyed their interactions, but I have to say that my favourite dynamic was when you threw Ye Baiyi in the mix. Wen Kexing and Ye Baiyi really seemed to enjoy squabbling by the end and Zhou Zishu found them entertaining, too. Perhaps in an AU where Ye Baiyi ends up living longer, they all start to grow interested in each other. You can keep Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing on the mountain, but I’m also fine with the idea that either they saved each other, but used up the power and did not become immortal, or that the quality of their immortality is so great that they don’t have to stay in the snowy mountains, or that Zhou Zishu never pulled his nails and so could be healed by the Great Shaman. For smut, I prefer bottom and sub Ye Baiyi and have no preference between the other two. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Ye Baiyi. For A/B/O, I prefer omega Ye Baiyi and alpha or beta Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu.

WoH: Post-Immortality Ye Baiyi Ages Normally Onwards Starting From How Old He Looks

Basically a general prompt that could apply to all of the others to give a bit more room to play with, since otherwise Ye Baiyi will die soon and I’m not really interested in deathfic/fic about impending death; however, also something that could be interesting as a prompt on its own, since Ye Baiyi seemed very ready to end it all and now suddenly is confronted with the fact that he still has to stick it out for a few decades, which he will have to deal with. Maybe Ye Baiyi realises after a while that he has stopped getting more white streaks in his hair and that he really doesn’t feel any worse than before. Now what? He ends up back at Zhou Zishu’s and Wen Kexing’s doorstep eventually because he doesn’t really know many people anymore...

All: Everyone Lives/Nobody Dies (Except the Bad Guys)

Yeah, this would be a really nice AU, especially as it applies to Gu Xiang and Cao Weining (and maybe even Fan Huaikong if you can make that happen). And I mean, saving Gu Xiang and Cao Weining shouldn’t be that difficult, actually. Just invite Ye Baiyi to the wedding! He can protect Gu Xiang’s and Cao Weining’s lives and the Ghost Valley with Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu.

If you want to, this can also apply to Beauty Ghost, The Master of the Unfaithful List, and Ghoul (who actually seemed like kind of a good guy for a cannibal, haha). You can even throw in the three remaining traitor ghosts here if you want to write something Ghost Valley-centric, I actually really liked them. I guess they made up with Wen Kexing and Zhang Chengling off-screen, lol, it’s fine. Now they also get to hang around and cause (a lot less deadly) havoc while Zhou Zishu, Wen Kexing and Ye Baiyi navigate their developing relationship.

ALL: heist-style story but fantasy setting

I’m interpreting fantasy setting as the canon setting of the show here, but if you want to introduce dragons and ghosts and magic, I’m also very happy for that! I really enjoyed it when Ye Baiyi was on a mission with Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing and would love to see them work together again. Maybe some bad guy has a dangerous tome/artifact and they need to retrieve/destroy it? But while they work together, they end up getting closer, too.

ALL: One night stand reveals or results in feelings

Ye Baiyi ends up sleeping with Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu. Maybe they were drunk, maybe Ye Baiyi told them he’d never actually had sex thanks to pining after Rong Changqing all these years and regrets it a little, and they end up deciding they want to show him what it’s like. However, this doesn’t end up just being the no-strings-attached fun they all thought it would be.

All: Arranged Marriage AU

Maybe the sects demand that if Ye Baiyi wants to save the Ghost Valley, he has to give them a real tie back to the human world, and after some discussion, Wen Kexing, Zhou Zishu and Ye Baiyi decide to arrange a marriage between Wen Kexing and Ye Baiyi. It’s not like it will result in a change to Wen Kexing’s relationship with Zhou Zishu, the marriage is only for show (Ye Baiyi is very, very used to being a third wheel to a couple, anyway). Except, it turns out, this actually does end up turning into a real triad relationship at some point. Does it go fairly smoothly or is there lots of agonised mutual pining?

ALL: Poly Marriage

This would be fun! Maybe it’s another marriage in the (not-destroyed) Ghost Valley, or maybe they’re marrying in the rebuilt Four Seasons Manor. Whether it’s an official poly marriage (if that’s possible) or just something they do for themselves, I feel like they would all have fun with it. The wedding night would also be great to see, of course.

ALL: Everything is the Same Except Some People Have Wings

Honestly not picky who has wings here! White wings would definitely fit Ye Baiyi’s floaty white clothing, but Wen Kexing with some scary black wing/bat wings or Zhou Zishu having bird of prey wings or something would also be great. Stuff like dealing with the intimacy of assisting with wing grooming is always appreciated, too.

The variation where a character has hidden wings that they reveal just in time to save someone from falling to their death is also great (I mean, to be fair, all of these people can already pretty much fly, anyway, but maybe this is the sort of fall where you really do need wings to survive it).

WoH: Ye Baiyi is a Catboy

Well, I have no excuse for this one. I just think Ye Baiyi is prickly and will grudgingly return to you if you feed him, so this kind of makes sense, absolutely. Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu scritching him behind the ears encouraged. Can Wen Kexing resist pulling his tail sometimes? Probably not.

If you want there to be something more plotty attached to Ye Baiyi’s Catboy-ness, maybe humans with animal features are rare and there are some myths about them (either they’re considered somewhat dangerous/wild, or maybe lucky, and that’s why people often try to capture them, or cut off their animal parts to keep them as talismans). However, Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing have always treated Ye Baiyi like a normal person (even with Wen Kexing’s teasing), which Ye Baiyi has always respected. Then, perhaps someone tries to kill or kidnap Ye Baiyi?

Basically, this is such a wild AU that everything would be great here, so this is just an idea in case you want one: Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu’s band is starting to be the hot new thing now, but fifteen years ago everyone was in love with young rockstars Ye Baiyi and Rong Changqing. However, Ye Baiyi abruptly left the business at some point (either because Rong Changqing died, or because he got married and left the band). Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu run into him and Ye Baiyi has honestly never wanted to sing/make music again, but he gets pulled back into it by them (and then gets pulled into something else, too).

Another complication could be that Ye Baiyi feels like once again, he is an outsider to a romantic couple, even though he’s carrying their child, which I feel could be really difficult for him at this point. Maybe he grows uncharacteristically quiet during the pregnancy? Maybe he tries to run away (but they track him down)? Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu should convince him that they’re not going to drop him once the baby is there.

I don’t know, this tag is just funny because omega Ye Baiyi would hate to be accidentally acquired, lol. Maybe whatever official authorities rule over the land decide that Ye Baiyi, as an omega, needs to be legally given to an alpha/beta – yes, even if he is the Sword Immortal! To that end, they just give him to Zhou Zishu and/or Wen Kexing in the official registries, since those are the people he seems to be hanging around with. Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu probably think this is really funny, Ye Baiyi less so. However, it does kind of set some jokes/flirting in motion, and then, well...

Man, I’m weak. I would like Ye Baiyi to get all the nice things. Just to see him begrudgingly super happy on his wedding day with a husband who adores him and who Ye Baiyi adores right back would be really great. If Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu are there to tease him, it would be sweet, too, and honestly, all the other characters you want to include.

I’d also love to see the proposal! Ye Baiyi is just not, in any form, used to being the one who is pursued, or to being so important to anyone that he gets this special place in their life. How does he react? I would love it if he accepted.

ALL: Secret Marriage

Ye Baiyi meets an OMC after getting off the mountain and they get married, but Ye Baiyi doesn’t want to make him a target for people who want to challenge the Sword Immortal, so they keep it a secret; or maybe the OMC is himself a lord or otherwise person of importance who worries people will pick fights with Ye Baiyi on his behalf. Do they ever decide to make it public? If so, why?

Ye Baiyi hadn’t told his new friends yet, either, except one day he stashes the OMC away with Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing in the mountains/at the rebuilt Four Seasons Manor for temporary safekeeping. How is their reaction when they find out about the relationship?

ALL: Made Up Spouse That Turns Out to be Real

I can see this prompt go two ways. Maybe Ye Baiyi gets hit on a lot now that he’s back in the world and it seems like he’ll live on for quite a bit longer. There’s probably also a lot of sect elders that want to marry him to their heirs, after all. So he can live in peace, Ye Baiyi says sorry, he’s already married, and makes up a description of that man (assuming same sex marriage is a thing here). Then, by a twist of fate, he runs into an OMC who fits the description perfectly and the OMC is perhaps amused at the resulting misunderstandings by bystanders (but then actually very interested in taking up the spot at Ye Baiyi’s side for real).

Or Ye Baiyi talks to Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing (and whoever else is still alive at Four Seasons Manor) about his spouse sometimes. The others figure Ye Baiyi is just trolling them again (Ye Baiyi doesn’t seem like the marrying kind, and maybe his spouse seems unlikely, like he’s a prince or something), but one day, they actually meet this husband OMC and it turns out he was real all along.

This would make sense for a prequel, maybe? Ye Baiyi’s sect elders want him to marry somebody. Ye Baiyi is still trying to get over his unhappy crush on his best friend, so he’s not exactly thrilled. However, this OMC turns out to be just what he needs to redirect his attentions.

ALL: Soulbonds - Accidentally Formed by Sexual Encounter

It was supposed to be a one night stand, and now they get to deal with this. Is the OMC skeptical at first? Ye Baiyi is hot, but he isn’t exactly the softest personality. And what does Ye Baiyi think about the OMC, does he have reservations? But as they get to know each other better, they see there’s a lot to like.

The OMC is actually really happy. It’s a rare occurrence to form a soulbond! It must mean they are meant for each other. Meanwhile Ye Baiyi has a minor breakdown, since has spent his entire very long life being psychologically tied to one man and having most of his life shaped by his relationship with him, but that man loved somebody else. What if it turns out the same way again?! How does he calm down? Maybe Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu help him gain some perspective that this is actually not necessarily a bad thing, and that the OMC seems to like him? Perhaps the OMC courts him and Ye Baiyi comes around? Ye Baiyi might also do well to explain his behaviour and why he might be a bit nervous.

ALL: Soulmate AU - both soulmates were convinced their soulmate was dead

Ye Baiyi always believed that Rong Changqing was his soulmate, but that he was just destined to be basically a “one-sided” soulmate, attached to someone who did not feel the same (and perhaps that’s why he never had whatever markers are a thing in this Soulmate AU, if any, because his soulmate did not love him like that). The OMC may have also been unlucky in love with someone who is now dead, or they figured if they hadn’t met their soulmate well into their thirties/fourties/however old they are, the soulmate must already be dead. Then the OMC and Ye Baiyi run into each other...

ALL: Everything is the Same Except Some People Have Wings

Honestly not picky who has wings here! White wings would definitely fit Ye Baiyi’s floaty white clothing, but I would also love for him to meet an OMC with wings and be a bit fascinated. Stuff like dealing with the intimacy of assisting with wing grooming is always appreciated, too.

The variation where a character has hidden wings that they reveal just in time to save someone from falling to their death is also great (I mean, to be fair, all of these people can already pretty much fly, anyway, but maybe this is the sort of fall where you really do need wings to survive it).

WoH: Ye Baiyi is a Catboy

Well, I have no excuse for this one. I just think Ye Baiyi is prickly and will grudgingly return to you if you feed him, so this kind of makes sense, absolutely. OMC scritching him behind the ears encouraged.

If you want there to be something more plotty attached to Ye Baiyi’s Catboy-ness, maybe humans with animal features are rare and there are some myths about them (either they’re considered somewhat dangerous/wild, or maybe lucky, and that’s why people often try to capture them, or cut off their animal parts to keep them as talismans). However, the OMC is someone who treats Ye Baiyi like a normal person, which Ye Baiyi likes. Then, perhaps someone tries to kill or kidnap Ye Baiyi?

ALL: BDSM AU

I just love the idea of Ye Baiyi as the brattiest sub imaginable. He may have been born with an instinct to kneel, but every Dom who has tried to dominate him against his will has quickly learned what a bad idea that was. He’s basically gotten used to living without a Dom and never really having those instincts fulfilled and he much prefers that to kneeling to someone who he thinks is an idiot (and he couldn’t have Rong Changqing, so, well...). Now enter OMC. What does he do that impresses Ye Baiyi? Is he as strong as him? It’s unlikely, but maybe he’s a really good fighter. Or maybe it’s not that, and it was never that, even though a lot of people thought that was the only kind of Dom Ye Baiyi would accept. However, maybe Ye Baiyi has really never looked for physical strength, but for someone he can respect and likes?

Smut is, of course, also very appreciated here. What is it like for Ye Baiyi to be with a Dom after all this time?

ALL: Mpreg is rare AU

Mpreg is rare, but Ye Baiyi is one of the few lucky men who is mpregnable – though he might not count himself so lucky, and he didn’t expect it, either. Perhaps he never slept with anyone because he was pining after Rong Changqing all his life, but then he went to bed with this OMC, and, well, that’s how he found out he can get mpregant. How does the OMC react? Are they both shocked and get closer by working through it? Or maybe the OMC is happy, to Ye Baiyi’s surprise, and really glad they’ll have this connection because the OMC is already in love.

Whether Rong Xuan is Ye Baiyi’s biological son by Rong Changqing (perhaps as a side effect of Ye Baiyi exchanging (and thus intermingling) their fates) or “just” the child he raised, it’s clear he sees him as his child. That means he has already lost a child, which might make his feelings about the pregnancy quite complicated. Does the OMC have experience with loss, too? Whether he does or not, I’m sure he’ll comfort Ye Baiyi.

ALL: A/B/O - Alpha attracted to Omega they mistakenly assume is also Alpha

Ye Baiyi is so confrontational, strong and confident, of course people believe he’s an alpha. How could the Sword Immortal be anything else, anyway? Since Ye Baiyi is not especially invested in most people and didn’t come off the mountain to sleep with anyone, he never bothers to correct people’s ideas. Then he starts getting closer to the OMC, however, and realises he probably needs to burst his bubble about courting an alpha. Does he think the OMC won’t be interested afterwards? He does make for a very odd omega. However, the OMC doesn’t mind (even if he is perhaps surprised).

ALL: A/B/O - Omega Pretending to Be Alpha or Beta

On the other hand, maybe Ye Baiyi does actively hide the fact that he is an omega. He’s always hated the discussions it caused and it was just easier to deny it, since he wasn’t sleeping with anyone, anyway. When does he decide to reveal his secret to the OMC? Or maybe he has no say in the matter and the OMC finds out because Ye Baiyi unexpectedly goes into heat?

ALL: A/B/O - Omegas are Property

Omegas are legally property, but who is going to tell the Sword Immortal what to do? It’s not like you can make him do anything. Most people find this scandalous, but Ye Baiyi is also not trying to make people like him anymore (not that he ever has, really). However, this OMC he meets is fascinated by Ye Baiyi just flaunting all the rules. How do they meet? Where do they go from there?

ALL: A/B/O - Omegas are protectors while Alphas are providers

Wouldn’t this basically make Ye Baiyi the most eligible omega in the country? After all, he’s the Sword Immortal and now that he has joined the living again and apparently isn’t crumbling to dust, everybody wants him to mate someone in their sect. Ye Baiyi just wants to be left alone, though. He’s not interested in any of these alphas – until he meets the OMC. Is the OMC also courting him and what is different about him? Or maybe they meet under completely different circumstances, and the OMC only slowly becomes interested in Ye Baiyi as a potential mate? What changes his mind?

ALL: A/B/O - Courtship rituals

I just think Ye Baiyi deserves to get courted, lol. He spent so much time pining! It would be nice if someone showed him their appreciation.

For A/B/O-focused courting rituals, maybe being such an unusual omega, Ye Baiyi is not used to people even really treating him as an omega, ever, so courting rituals meant for traditional omegas are really new to him. They can be a bit fun, though, even if he sometimes gets embarrassed.

ALL: A/B/O - Omegas can only go into heat when comfortable/secure

Ye Baiyi hasn’t really felt comfortable/secure basically ever since he became an immortal, first in that odd situation living with Rong Changqing and his wife, then alone one a mountain. Imagine his surprise when his heat suddenly hits him when he’s around the OMC. What is their relationship at this point? Is Ye Baiyi almost unsurprised? Or did he not expect to be even susceptible to heats at all anymore? Whatever it is, I’m sure the OMC would gladly help out.
