If it has my pairing and avoids my DNWs, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it! All ratings are great. I included a list of my general likes and smut likes which apply to all my requests. When it comes to kinks, you can include anything not listed under my DNWs.

Feel free to entirely erase the existence of canon relationships or break them up if they get in the way of the pairings I requested, whichever works best with what you’re trying to do.

Fic where the couple is not yet together but clearly in love, or on the road to getting together, or having their first time kissing/in bed together are great. However, so are established relationship fics. Whatever suits your ideas!

Generally, I enjoy a wide variety of different art styles, from traditional oil paintings to manga to western comics to cubism and everything in between, so please feel free to go with whatever you enjoy. I like stark black-and-white lineart just as much as elaborately shaded coal or pencil drawings and, of course, colours of every sort, traditional and digital alike. I’d very much like to see my requested pairings in your style, but if you have a specific stylistic idea, that’s always super fun, too.

When it comes to comics, I’d love any sort of style, from a more traditional comic narrative to a comic that’s only visuals with no words or just an interconnection of related pictures implying a story. For specific motives that could be included, I gave prompts for each pairing. Literally anything that indicates it is shippy would always be appreciated, though, from hand-holding to explicit porn. I’m also always here for pictures of battle couples in action, if you enjoy fight scenes, or the characters doing simple, everyday things together and enjoying themselves. If you’re doing something with a more traditional narrative, my prompts for writers also apply to comics, of course.

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey

Alexios/Stentor
Alexios and Stentor have such a deliciously complicated relationship. Stentor is obviously threatened by Alexios’ presence, and Alexios is probably jealous that Stentor got to have Nikolaos as a father whereas Alexios got to be shoved off a mountain. However, considering how attached Stentor is to Nikolaos, I doubt he has any birth family that cares about him, either. He and Alexios eventually might find themselves unexpectedly able to bond over some things. They would also make a great battle couple and their verbal and physical sparring is a lot of fun. I write mostly with protagonist!Alexios in mind, but feel free to go for Deimos!Alexios if you want to, I love him, too. I prefer bottom Stentor for smut. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Stentor.

I assume since Nikolaos was happy to have his family back and Stentor wants to please him in all things, he decides to grit his teeth and make nice with the new relatives. I would like to see Stentor wondering where he still fits into this family dynamic now that Nikolaos has his ‘real’ children back, and they both happen to be unstoppable fighting machines with god-like powers that outclass Stentor dramatically (which to a Spartan must be quite important) and also one of them sort of saved Sparta from the Cult and won the Olympics. However, in Stentor’s attempts to learn to tolerate his new brother – whether he be Alexios or Deimos!Alexios –, the two end up developing quite a different relationship. The focus I want is on romantic developments, but I also wouldn’t say no at all to Kassandra/Deimos!Kassandra and Myrrine developing a family relationship with Stentor, too, and Nikolaos getting to know Alexios and Kassandra better, and/or reassuring Stentor. Family fluff is great, yo. Well, as fluffy as this family can get... does the five of them fighting through a bandit camp or something count?

Speaking of stories with a family focus, you can recruit your whole family as lieutenants after the good ending. Alexios sailing around with his family (or just Stentor) on board, calling them into battle to help him, and their developing relationships would be great. Oh, and him and Stentor accidentally falling in love, of course.

Stentor and Alexios tell the family about their relationship (or get caught red-handed). How does everyone deal with it?

Alexios and Stentor have to work together to solve some new problem in Sparta – general politics or Cultist related. This forces them to come closer and look at the other one’s strengths and skills and they develop a grudging respect – and more. Bonus if they fight together at some point.

I also like the idea of the two of them sleeping together but never admitting their feelings until something bad happens to the other. The rest of the family/their friends is mighty confused when the dude they thought would have been relieved to see the other go, at the very least hardly bothered by it, flies completely off the handle and runs to go save their lover or has basically been welded to the bedside of the sick man.

When they meet again in Boeotia, after the battle, perhaps Stentor gets almost assassinated or badly wounded by some Cultist (or other general traitor) in his ranks. Alexios stays around to help solve the problem and they grow closer over it and fall in love, perhaps even stay close in the coming years?

I also love the idea of them meeting before Megaris and having an affair and genuine connection, a crush, or at least some hot nights together before they know who the other is. That, or a scene after, when it all falls into place, would be great.

Spartan marriage included a ritualistic kidnapping of the bride. This could be fun with Stentor reintroducing Alexios to some customs of his old and new home by "kidnapping" him, or Alexios deciding to woo Stentor in the traditional way by stealing him away. (Also, Deimos!Alexios doing the kidnapping could be interesting as well, though probably a good deal more frightening at first.)

To everyone’s great surprise, probably Stentor’s included, Deimos!Alexios and Stentor are the ones who have the easiest time finding to each other because fighting is the primary language they both speak. I would really like it if the two of them managed to take out their aggressions on each other, which at first might be nothing but them funnelling their energy so they don’t actually kill each other (and Deimos doesn’t kill anyone else), but slowly turns into friendlier sparring as they grow closer.

Anything to do with Alexios’ mythical bloodline! I like the Isu fine, but I also like Alexios just straight up being related to Greek gods, so whichever one you prefer. Do they run into mythological trouble together?

Also, stuff with Alexios and his animals and Stentor's reaction to them. His horse seems to be pretty special (20 foot drop is usually something to walk off), his eagle is clearly magical, and I'd love a story that works with the Beast Master skill somehow, too (feel free to make it more effective/lasting than in the game). Maybe Alexios has permanently tamed himself a mountain lion?

If you wanna go the smut-heavy route, I have a preference for Alexios on top, but I also like Alexios and Stentor fighting for dominance. A scenario where Stentor is quite happy to often be the loser (and very, very ashamed about enjoying Alexios topping him) would be great, though. I could also see them using fighting, physical or otherwise, as an entrance into their little dalliances. Do they eventually get a point where they realise that they want to sleep with each other even without almost breaking their noses in a sparring match before? Where Stentor even admits to his preference for bottoming, if he has it in this fic? Enemies to People (hardly friends) With Benefits to Lovers certainly is a great trope for them.

For that matter, D/s with sub Stentor would also be fun. I could see Alexios as a gentle Dom who turns these situations to his favour so subtly and softly that Stentor barely realises what he’s agreeing to until it’s happening (and it’s really good), or the two of them going at it from a consensual but probably not very safe or sane angle, where they work out their frustrations with each other and secretly enjoy having really rough sex (Stentor could be the ultimate brat sub…).

For A/B/O, Stentor as the angriest omega in all of ancient Greece would be a lot of fun (however, him being at peace with his nature would also be interesting, so whichever way you want to write it). I'd love anything about him with Alexios, seriously, so these really are just ideas. Perhaps a sudden unexpected heat can bring him and Alexios closer together? Literally and figuratively, ehm. Or maybe omegas get treated differently/better in warrior-ethos-focused Sparta than they do in the rest of Ancient Greece, so Stentor has quite a bit of independence there, but him and Alexios need to pretend to be bonded on some mission outside the city because Stentor would not be allowed to go certain places/do certain things otherwise (I love pretend relationship turns into real relationship)? Or the Spartan state decides that the alpha who obviously has shown himself worthy of getting a child on the very decorated omega Stentor is Alexios.

I wish Phoibe had survived and I feel like a plucky orphan like her might win Stentor’s heart against his will. Maybe Stentor was somehow with Alexios in Athens (in disguise) and managed to save her? Maybe Alexios can save her and brings her to Stentor so he can protect her (she could be his servant/helper like she was before)? Stentor doesn’t seem to like him, but Alexios judges correctly that he wouldn’t send an innocent girl to her almost certain death. Or maybe Stentor is the one who tells him that though Phoibe is quite independent, Alexios should try to help her for her own good, even if she pretends she can do it all alone. Either way, through caring for Phoibe, the two of them get closer, too.

Alexios’ special bloodline needs to be continued. Either by way of an Isu artefact, mpreg just always being possible for (perhaps only some?) men, or A/B/O, Stentor could be the one to carry that kid. Or maybe it has nothing to do with Alexios wanting to continue his bloodline, but he just wants to have a family with Stentor. I’m also always here for unplanned pregnancies, too.

For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great. Alexios and Stentor in full armour on a battlefield or in a war camp together (blood covering them optional), or wearing ‘civvies’ like chitons and tunics back in Sparta would be cool. I also enjoy people swapping clothes or armour pieces or wearing the other one’s clothes entirely. I’d also love to see Alexios teasing Stentor, like hugging him from behind or surprise-kissing him. The two of them just sitting side by side, eating, sharpening their swords, reading, relaxing would be great as well. They don’t get a lot of downtime in the game. The two of them riding on the back of Alexios’ horse together would be sweet. I’d love to see Alexios’ eagle teasing Stentor, or perhaps also acting affectionate towards him as a sort of proxy for Alexios (who may not dare to yet). Alexios showing Stentor the Forge or another Isu place would make for a great picture. I like Alexios being descended from actual gods and Greek mythology being real as well as the Isu, so a picture that incorporates mythological creatures, gods, tales with the two of them, whether they be classical style or Isu-style, would be sweet.

Jacob Frye/Ned Wynert
The interactions between Jacob and Ned – few as they were! – were delightful. I wanted them to have more adventures together like the one on the train. Maybe Ned can also be dragged into the whole Assassin-Templar story? But I’m not necessarily looking for something plot heavy, I’d also be very happy with just a sweet or smutty story about the two of them getting together or being in a relationship.

Ned being trans can certainly be addressed and I don’t mind some people having an issue with it, the times being what they were, but I want Jacob not to be bothered by it and if there is angst regarding Jacob’s sexuality, that it’d only be because Jacob hasn’t dealt with his attraction to men yet (well, if that is the case in the fic, I’m also happy with Jacob already being fine with it and/or experienced with men!). Smut of any sort is always fun, too. As long as Ned is shown to be comfortable with it, vaginal penetration/anal/oral/whatever else you’d like is great, as is anything else on my smut likes list. I somewhat prefer bottom Ned, but him topping Jacob is also good (I especially like stories where he might be the first one to introduce Jacob to bottoming). For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Ned.

Jacob falls for Ned and tries to impress him. Does he succeed or do his efforts end in chaos that at least makes Ned notice something is up?

Ned flirts with Jacob since Jacob is always bantering and it’s fun, but thinks Jacob is just doing it out of habit. Turns out Jacob is really interested in taking this further.

Jacob and Ned try to have a normal date. Due to assorted Blighters/business rivals/Templars, this keeps going poorly.

Jacob fails in his efforts to find a prostitute who would make a good replacement Ned as he fights with his feelings for the real one, but he does manage to be unsubtle enough in his search that Ned is alerted to the fact that he’s looking.

Ned gets with a man/hires an escort who would make a pretty good entry into a Jacob look-alike-contest and Jacob finds out. If Jacob learns about it through chance or later his assassin recruits masking as prostitutes, does he take the job himself or ask Ned about it?

Jacob taking Ned on one of his wild carriage race-battles (be it on purpose, dragging Ned along for a mission, or accidentally because they get attacked). How does Ned take it?

As I said, the two of them doing a mission together! I wanted more Ned quests. Ned has some skills as a thief, so he’d be a good complimentary companion to the more in-your-face Jacob.

Jacob/Ned ends up stranded needing medical attention after an attack. The other helps.

Evie's collectable romance thing is the pressed flowers; maybe the sketches (or the beer!) could somehow play into the Jacob/Ned romance?

A little later, when Jacob is more into the Creed, he tells Ned of the Assassins and makes him a recruit.

The Templars are very impressed with Ned’s business sense and want him in their ranks. Cue Jacob having to intervene and explain why it’s a bad idea and also, yes, there’s these ancient sects and so on. Would be fun with a Jacob who has come to accept the Creed a little more, but also with one who is still more rebellious and really just here to beat stuff up and ugh, now he has to do real Assassin business like inducting people. At least it’s Ned and it would be a good excuse to talk more…

Whether it has to do with Assassin induction or they’re just being chased, I always love it when an Assassin makes their partner do the Leap of Faith! What do you mean we’re falling 100 feet trying to hit a haystack, Frye?!

I’m way into size differences, so anything about Jacob carrying or manhandling Ned, or even Ned having to drag a wounded Jacob or similar scenarios that highlight it would be great.

For Art: All of the above prompts would still be great here, of course. I like the difference between their outfits for Jacob’s default appearance, with him so dishevelled-looking and Ned so well-sorted out in his suit. However, Jacob may, at times, also dress in proper suits (with tophat! He has so many good outfits), so Ned and him going to a posh place all dressed up would be fun. By virtue of being an NPC, Ned also only has one outfit, so it’d be cool to see him switch it up a little. I’d also love to see Ned going back to his jewellery-stealing roots alongside Jacob. Maybe Ned could dress up as a Rook bloke for subterfuge? (Jacob staring at him because seeing someone who is usually dressed up all formal in different clothes is hot.) Generally, the two of them crawling across rooftops or through a mansion together on a mission would be fun. Jacob defending Ned in a fight, or Ned fixing him up later would also be great. Ned on his tiptoes to plant a kiss on Jacob’s mouth? Jacob teasing/annoying Ned for attention while Ned is trying to work? The two of them riding on the Frye’s train and just relaxing together?

Haytham Kenway/Charles Lee
I love Haytham and Charles, villains who really respect and like each other and stand behind their idea of a world of order being what is needed for humanity where they guide the rest of us stupid sheeple humans to a better future, heh. I immensely enjoy young Charles’ senpai-notice-me dynamic with Haytham and his adoration for him; but I also love that eventually it goes both ways, when Charles becomes Haytham’s trusted second-in-command and a Templar in his own right. Haytham’s polite charm and firm believe in the Templars (and in Charles) were always intriguing, too, especially since he is much more complex than quite a few of the Templars we meet throughout the series. I prefer bottom Charles for smut and pregnant Charles for mpreg.

I would love to see them both on a mission for the Templars, perhaps looking for a Piece of Eden, rooting out rogue assassins (OC ones would be great, I like all the named ones from the game so much), kicking ass and swinging swords and kissing in between.

I also like Modern AUs, provided they are still Templars, or Abstergo Industries employees, one should say. This could be just them in modern times and how that might have changed things; for example, they could openly have a relationship and even marry. I would gladly read about the Colonial Rite Templars preparing/celebrating a wedding, whether it’s just fluff or whether there’s an assassination attempt before they even get to the cake. But I also would love plottier stuff where they get involved in everything that’s going on with the current Abstergo search for Pieces of Eden.

For Canon Divergence, what if Haytham did turn his back on being a Templar, perhaps after killing Reginald Birch? I’m sure he would not want to leave his favourite subordinate on the other side of the divide. Would love if he can somehow convince Charles, as I’d really be sad to see them ending up enemies. Or perhaps his change of mind came even earlier and he poaches the eager young acolyte for his own purposes instead of making him a Templar (perhaps by seducing him, combining business with pleasure, and/or by filling his head with new ideas)?

Another idea I like is that Charles somehow knew who Haytham’s son is, or Haytham did, and, arriving just a few hours later than in game, either of them or both find little Connor in the burning wreckage of the village and take him home to raise him a Templar. Gimme all that found family fluff – Connor playing with Charles’ dogs! Haytham training little Connor by making him jump at Charles from every shadowy corner of the house! – with perhaps just that hint of a dark edge, knowing what Connor is being raised into. Related, I’m also here for full-scale King Haytham AUs where he got the Piece of Eden and brought Connor to his side (or Connor never existed and thus didn’t become a problem for the Templars; I just don’t want dead Connor, basically) – or King Charles Lee, as he seemed to be the person they were setting up for the more public political leadership, but with Haytham pulling the strings.

Charles has quite a temper and it’d be interesting if Haytham noticed this and decided to train him out of it as much as he can to mould him into a better Templar. Whether this veers into a smutty direction (D/s for the sake of self-control? I’d love Haytham as Charles’ Dom) or involves some real soul-searching and deep discussions or tests from Haytham, all is good. Or, if you want to go down a heavy route, a couple of modern historians have speculated that Charles Lee, the actual historical figure, who was also known for temper issues, had some serious mental health problems, possibly bipolar disorder. That could also be really interesting to explore and try to manage, especially in a time when mental health care was still very fledgling.

Heap on the angst and hurt/comfort! One of them almost dying, getting gravely injured, deadly ill, almost frozen to death, tortured by rogue Templars or Assassins for fun or information... and then the other one bursting in to save them (if applicable) and dragging them home and putting them back together; or just holding bedside vigil and collecting all the physicians in the city.

In general, getting together fic would be great. How do they go about it? In the 18th century, you couldn’t really walk up to someone of the same gender and just ask them out – although, Haytham has such big brass... ego, he really might. Is one of them more experienced with men than the other? Perhaps one has only had relationships/dalliances with women and is still somewhat grappling with this new aspect to their sexuality. Or the inexperienced one is very eager but not quite sure how to go about it. If it’s Haytham, does he maybe think he’ll just experiment with Charles for a bit, since he’s clearly willing, but it turns into more? If it’s Charles, is he growing steadily more confused about this feeling he thought to be admiration and is made to flounder constantly by Haytham, who knows exactly what’s going on and loves teasing?

For smut, I already mentioned above that I think a D/s relationship between them could be great fun, but I would also be here for Charles working very, very hard to impress Haytham in every aspect of their acquaintance, worshipping his body, doing all the work for him. Does Haytham like to lean back and enjoy it, or does he eventually flip the tables, or perhaps decide from the start that Charles should learn that as a lover, Haytham doesn’t need to be won over? But just... you know, anything would be amazing here, really.

For Art: Any of the above prompts would of course be great. Charles and Haytham going to some sort of posh English thing together (opera, theatre, dinner with Charles’ parents) would be just as cool as the two of them covered in grime and blood after a battle. I also enjoy characters swapping/wearing each other’s clothes, maybe for a mission? Haytham teaching Charles to climb is also fun, so the two of them hanging out on rooftops or literally hanging on the side of a building would be fun. He could also teach Charles how to trail/eavesdrop. Sparring is cool with two fighter characters such as them, too (I’d also enjoy Haytham pinning Charles to the ground here and Charles trying to hide that he’s into it or just staring up at him in embarrassed silence).

Dragon Age

Male Hawke/Varric Tethras
I love this pairing anywhere in the timeline – Dragon Age II, Inquisition, Post-Inquisition, it’s all great because the friendship between Varric and Hawke is always great. I was so sad Varric wasn’t ever a love interest, so if you’re so inclined, please fix it for me! For Hawke, I love all colours or colour combinations (Friendly in conversation but stern in actions? A joker who is just a little bit too chipper still while taking off heads? A grumpy ass with a heart of gold?). Sarcastic Hawke and Varric obviously get on like a house on fire, Varric is super fond of Friendly Hawke and his never-ending goodness, even if he does poke fun at him, and the tension between Aggressive Hawke and Varric is amazing (especially if over the years Varric learns that while Hawke may come off as a callous bastard, his actions don’t always match his words). I also enjoy all classes for Hawke. You can go with the default look and first name or do something completely different, both is great. I prefer bottom Varric for smut. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Varric.

Generally, I’m open for any of their day-to-day craziness, from fighting evil Templars and crazed blood mages and bandits to dealing with the Merchant’s Guild or the upper crust of Kirkwall in general. I just love reading about them having adventures together.

I’m all for battle synergy expressing how great two characters fit together, so fight scenes would be awesome. Two bowmen could probably get into fun competitions, whereas Varric long-range might distract the people two-handed rogue Hawke is stabbing short-range (and what if Varric laid aside Bianca in Inquisition – since you can actually take it from him in that game – and went two-handed, how does their combat change? Does two-handed Hawke teach him some things?). How do Varric and mage Hawke make up for both being squishies? Maybe Hawke picks up some Arcane Warrior skills or Varric teaches him to evade? Or something macabre based on my gameplay experiences: blood mage Hawke siphoning blood from Varric for his attacks, since Varric can afford not to be in top shape standing in the backline. Then there’s the obvious ways tanks and rogues work together, so a full-on warrior Hawke protecting Varric in battle (and having Varric keep his flank free with his crossbow) would be awesome, too. But really, go wild! There’s so many fun specialisations and attacks and strategies in this game.

I have always wanted the scene that you get with the LI after Hawke’s mother dies with an LI Varric, so that would be great.

Generally, Hawke goes through a lot of shit in the game. He can be left without any of his family, or at least just one sibling (and depending on how that goes, they might feel quite distant from him/not be on super friendly terms). Perhaps Varric can pick him up in one of his worse moments.

But the same is true for Varric. The whole Bartrand story obviously wears on him despite the fact they weren’t exactly super close. Hawke consoling him or trying to cheer him up would be sweet.

Speaking of families, I would love for Varric and Hawke to build one. Be it through mpreg (I’d prefer pregnant Varric – maybe because of dwarven biology, or magic, or some weird artefact Hawke picked up?) or because they end up adopting one of Varric’s informer urchins or stumble over an abandoned qunari baby during some quest, or Hawke gets handed a baby from a former fling who then walks out on them, or whatever else you can imagine. Hell, maybe they even start parenting together before they are a couple. But these two might also eventually go for having a family on purpose, post-Inquisition maybe?

I could see them ending up as friends with benefits who both want to be more than friends with benefit, but figure that it might ruin their friendship to ask, and that what they have right now is like, basically like a relationship already, so maybe they shouldn’t push their luck, leading to all the mutual unnecessary pining and hopefully, eventually, a good resolution.

Hawke is left behind in the Fade. Months later, he is spat back out into the real world after fighting his way through, or being released by whatever kept him. Whether him and Varric were long in a relationship or just had unspoken feelings for each other (aside from being good friends, anyway, since that’s obviously also important), their reunion would be awesome.

Smut is always welcome. I would love to see their first time, whether it’s the culmination of a romantic confession or a drunken spur-of-the-moment thing or anything in between. However, I’m also here for their thousandth time in the middle of a long relationship when they’re already comfortable with each other and know all the ways to drive their partner mad in the best way.

For Art: Any of the above scenarios would be amazing. If you enjoy that style, the tarot cards that Inquisition used are beautiful and anything of that sort would be great, too. Male Inquisitor/Varric Tethras
Varric has a very different relationship with the Inquisitor than he has with Hawke, but I think it’s still quite an interesting one because the Inquisitor gets Varric out of his element, which is in Kirkwall (and the Inquisitor makes him camp out in the wild with him most days and Varric allows it, so that must mean something). All species, personalities, and classes are fine for the Inquisitor, and I’m totally happy with custom names, looks, and even custom backstories and personalities because due to the amount of choice in player creation, I felt that, for example, an elven Inquisitor could often feel pretty much the same as a human Inquisitor except for a handful of special dialogue choices. So if you wanna bring in their heritage and background more, I’d be totally happy for that. I do, of course, have my thing for size differences, so a qunari or human would be great for this pairing, but that’s just one suggestion, I love elves and dwarves, too. For smut, I prefer bottom Varric. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Varric.

Maybe Varric and the Inquisitor start out as a friends-with-benefits type of arrangement. Neither of them is in a great situation and it’s nice to just relax and have some fun. However, it doesn’t stay that simple.

The Inquisitor and Varric get separated from the rest and have to fight their way back to the next Inquisition camp. Whether that’s almost kind of romantic (if it weren’t for all those bugs and nature in general, in Varric’s opinion) or they are a stuck in an absolute hellhole and bond over having to cut their way out, both could be fun.

Maybe the Inquisitor is a big fan of Varric’s books. He’s totally willing to trade kisses for sneak peeks, not just because of the stories, though. (But also, something sweet where Varric tells a tale to distract the Inquisitor from one of the multitude of bad experiences he can have in the game would be great, too.)

The Inquisitor is a rogue who teaches Varric two-handed dagger combat (Varric can switch from Bianca to two-handed for the first time in this game). During the lessons, they start to get along.

The dwarf Inquisitor has Carta ties and Varric, as we know, does business with them. Maybe Varric knew him before the whole Inquisition business happened? But if you can think of a reason why/how he’d have met the other Inquisitors before, that would be fun, too. Maybe Varric and the Inquisitor even had a Thing (or just a one-night-stand) at one point. How do they navigate that now?

After three years of long-distance relationship, Varric and the Inquisitor are overjoyed when the Inquisitor can finally join Varric in Kirkwall.

The Inquisitor was never really sure what to make of his feelings for Varric, but when Hawke or Bianca (either would work) shows up, the overwhelming jealousy suddenly becomes much less difficult to read. But Varric was only ever friends with Hawke and his romantic feelings aren’t for Bianca these days…

Varric seems like he has a lot of experience in the bedroom, is it the same for the Inquisitor? Does one of them maybe have less experience with men? Does a mage Inquisitor use his powers for good in the bedroom? Do a qunari Inquisitor and Varric have to figure out how to make the size difference work?

Fenris/Varric Tethras
I always thought these two could work out pretty well. Varric teases Fenris and brings out a bit of a humorous side in him, but at the same time you can see in the banter he cares about him, and Fenris obviously likes Varric well enough, too. Varric’s big strength is that he’s good with people, so I could see him navigating Fenris’ hang-ups pretty well. I prefer bottom Varric for smut. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Varric.

With their luck, I’m assuming a date would include at least one attack by blood mages or mercenaries, but they could still have fun, I’m sure.

One thing I like about this pairing is how the compact, muscular dwarf Varric is the sly rogue who keeps in the backline and moves across the battlefield like an acrobat, while petite, thin elf Fenris busts out the man-sized greatsword and has tank stamina and endurance. It would be fun just to see them work together in a fight (not like you need to walk far in Kirkwall to find one). Perhaps the enemies even underestimate Fenris’ strength and get a rough wake-up call.

I’d also love to see one of them rescue the other – Varric getting Fenris out of a bad spot with people trying to recapture him (either physically or through using his nebulous contacts), or Fenris protecting Varric from merchant’s guild assassins.

Maybe Varric can get Fenris to clean up that damn house. Or at least one room. Maybe the bedroom. Alternatively, Varric just moves Fenris into the Hanged Man.

Fenris old master decides that if he can’t capture Fenris, he’s going to get him by snatching Varric away and using him as bait. Fenris saves Varric (alone or with Hawke’s help) or Varric gets away, but Fenris is worried that being with Varric puts him at too much risk. Varric makes it very clear he doesn’t plan on letting some slaver stop him from being with Fenris.

Fenris returns to Kirkwall after Inquisition and him and Varric reconnect. Feelings develop while Fenris helps Varric with rebuilding the city.

Fenris and Varric have been together for a long while when Varric gets dragged off by the Inquisition. Fenris catches up with them eventually, so now the Inquisitor has a pissed off elf who won’t leave as part of his team.

For smut, depending on how you interpret Fenris’ backstory, he does have bad experiences with sex and Varric probably cottoned on to that, so he might not wish to push Fenris, but perhaps Fenris, who does find himself wanting to go there, interprets that as a lack of interest and they have to clear up that misunderstanding first (mentioning/discussing/describing past noncon/dubcon here is fine). Otherwise, maybe Fenris has no/very little experience with sex and that would be interesting to explore, too. Generally, I do love the idea of Fenris feeling safe to experiment with Varric and Varric encouraging him happily.

Dorian Pavus/Felix Alexius
Dorian says it’s an odd question when you ask him if he was involved with Felix, but I don’t think it is at all. They seemed fond of each other and Dorian obviously had nothing but the highest regard for him. Besides, Felix did say he liked trouble! For smut, I prefer bottom Felix. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Felix.

Since I’m not into character death, I’d prefer if the fic wasn’t all about the tragedy of Felix’s looming demise or about said death. It could be set before he was infected or in a Felix Lives AU. Oh, and if you do decide to save him somehow, feel free to include all the angst about his (soon to be averted) death. I just don’t like it if the death actually follows. As for Dorian’s relationships with Iron Bull or The Inquisitor, should you choose to set the fic during/past DA:I, it’d be great if they were very clearly broken up by the time he gets to Felix, or he didn’t romance either of them. It would also be nice if Dorian isn’t in love with either of these dudes anymore (though him still being bitter or disillusioned about love or whatever if it ended badly, as well as Felix believing that Dorian is still in love or that he couldn’t give Dorian what he got from his former lovers, are totally fine).

Felix survives is pretty much a background AU for most of these prompts, but totally also a prompt in itself. Whether Felix actually gets rescued on purpose (someone finds a cure) or it’s a magical accident or he’s made a Grey Warden… just let him live! And make out with Dorian!

I enjoy love confessions being blurted out at inopportune times! Perhaps they confess their love right after Felix barely survived his cure. Perhaps it’s in a battle Felix accidentally got pulled into as well. Maybe it’s even before the infection and the two of them somehow got into trouble in Tevinter (I’m sure Dorian can manage to find some and we know Felix likes it).

Friends to lovers seems like a great trope for these two. I would love to see their friendship develop and then shift into something more, maybe after Felix is cured and they see each other again and all their old feelings suddenly resurface stronger (plus some little crushes they may already have had).

Would also like a version were they already fell for each other and became lovers in Tevinter before Felix was infected. (If you want to write a dramatic story with that prompt: Perhaps Felix broke up with Dorian because of the taint, not wanting Dorian to be tied to a dead man, and Dorian accepted it as the reasonable thing to do, but was secretly heart-broken? Can they pick it up again when Felix is cured and do the friends-to-lovers walk a second time? That’d be great.)

I generally see them as about the same age, but I don’t think it ever actually says for Felix. Is he Dorian’s age or was there maybe a bit of an age difference and Felix had a puppy love crush on Dorian when he first came around the house and Felix was like sixteen, seventeen? Does Dorian now see him in a new light after they have been separated and Felix has gone through such harrowing experiences, where before Dorian perhaps always still had that image of the teenager in mind, even though Felix had long grown up?

Well, considering Alexius picked Dorian up when they were both visitors to a brothel, I doubt Dorian has little experience with men, but for Felix I could see it! Does Dorian show him what he’s been missing out on?

Maybe Felix was a bit of a late-bloomer, so he hadn’t slept with anyone yet before he was infected, man or woman, and afterwards he was worried he might be able to pass on the taint, so he remained a virgin despite being basically Dorian’s age or just a few years younger. After Felix is cured and Dorian finds out, he decides to give Felix a few hands-on lessons. Are they already in a relationship or are they pretending just to have fun but actually pining?

Dorian joins a cured Felix back in Tevinter after DA:I. Maybe they had a long-distance relationship so far and now finally get to be sweet with each other in person?

Dorian decides to meet with his parents. He pretends like it doesn’t really shake him (as usual), but Felix welcomes him back in their shared home in the aftermath and reminds him he doesn’t need to conform to his family anymore.

Felix spoke to the Inquisitor, asking about the Other Future, or questioned his father about his intentions. Dorian cheers him up afterwards, as Felix is shaken to learn what was to be done in the name of protecting him.

Dorian always assumed Felix was straight (maybe Felix thought so, too, or maybe he just didn’t think he was Dorian’s type). Then, as Felix is cured and with the Inquisition, or maybe earlier when they’re still together in Tevinter, a man starts hitting on Felix and Felix seems mildly interested – though of course his true interests lie elsewhere… does Dorian intervene?

Dorian is a flirt and terribly charming. Felix is very reasonable and understanding and usually not super bothered by that. Still, it can get a little much sometimes to see how many people are infatuated with Dorian and especially in Tevinter, Felix’s lack of magic talent makes him sort of second-class to most nobles, so he probably gets overlooked a lot on principle when people consider if Dorian is free. How does he try to recapture Dorian’s interest? (Not that he ever actually lost it in the first place.)

Dorian’s ex is either the Iron Bull or the Inquisitor. Felix secretly wonders how he is ever going to stand up to either of them (he’s not a Dom or generally as sexually experienced as the Bull, nor an amazing main character hero).

Dorian said that in Tevinter, you don’t often get relationships between men. Maybe, out of habit, he tries to keep things light with Felix, more friends-with-benefits despite being desperately in love. Meanwhile, Felix doesn’t want to pressure Dorian and lose him, since he knows Dorian has a wild history and might still not be into commitment, but he wishes he could be his only partner. Do they eventually manage to figure out they want the same thing?

Just generally Dorian and Felix hanging around Skyhold after Felix is cured, being in love and not quite daring to admit it since neither wants to ruin the friendship. What (or who) pushes them into it? Dorian’s meddling friends definitely welcome!

Being tainted, Felix hasn’t really been touched in a long while except for by people trying to work magic or medicine on him and he’s only recently been cured. When Dorian starts being affectionate (whether in a relationship or casually), he’s very eager for it.

Dorian has a lot of sex, but he didn’t get much physical attention divorced from that, Tevinter being as it is. Luckily, Felix is very happy to give it even when Dorian is not the type to directly ask for a hug.

Dorian has to defend them in a battle and Felix isn’t much use in a fight (especially not if he’s still weak suffering/recovering from the blight), so it’s on Dorian to pull himself up again and again and he’s not going to fail. Would love Felix patching him up after!

Felix is not much of a fighter, but somehow he ends up in a situation where he has to defend Dorian (who is maybe trying to open one of those magical barriers or already beaten on the ground or something) and he just won’t let himself be beaten, despite the fact that he’s neither a good mage nor all that great with a blade. He can still be a meat shield, after all.

Felix got cured in Haven, but while he’s still recovering, Corypheus attacks. So he basically has no choice but to drag himself, half-dead, through the snow to Skyhold with the others. Dorian is at his side, of course.

One character falling ill (or suffering from an infected wound, or in Felix’s case maybe going through difficult blight treatment) and the other caring about them is already one of my favourite tropes, so that alone would make me happy. If you want to up the ante, maybe there is a feverish confession. What is it about? Is it a love confession or perhaps something more indiscreet, a smutty fantasy? Or maybe something innocent but with implications towards their feelings, like them wishing for the other person to embrace them or stay with them through the night?

I would love for Dorian to reveal what happened between him and his father to Felix and just generally get to vent his frustration with the Tevinter system in earnest for once, since he’s usually more of a hide-the-pain-with-jokes type of person.

Felix is so serene about even his own death, but maybe he can have a moment as well. Does he still dream about the attack that killed his mother and left him infected? What about when his grandfather tried to have him assassinated? Did he ever suffer at the hands of other high-born people, or family members/acquaintances for his lack of magic, but didn’t tell people? (I’d also be fine with noncon for this specific prompt, perhaps someone making use of the fact that he has no magical way to defend himself, because it would be interesting to see how Felix handles it.) Him telling Dorian would be nice.

Felix going through some sort of blight cure would need some seeing to. Dorian fussing with him (maybe while sort of still trying to keep up the irreverent attitude – does he manage?) would be fun.

But maybe Dorian also goes down with a nasty flu or something at some point! Felix wants him to get better, of course, but maybe also enjoys that he gets to repay Dorian a little bit for caring when he was sick.

A pre-blight prompt here could be one of them falling ill and the other caring about them when they don’t know each other that well yet back in Tevinter, which is a great chance for them to start falling in love.

Dorian had the best intentions about not touching the son of the man who pulled him out of his life of chaotic squalor and actually put him on a good path. He didn’t expect Felix to be his soulmate.

Dorian and Felix knew they were soulmates, but Felix told Dorian it would be fine if he left since he has to get used to living without him. When they meet again, Dorian realises he can’t leave him a second time. Then, when they’ve already resigned themselves to Felix’s imminent death, a cure is found.

Arranged marriages are always awesome. In a first step to reforming Tevinter, Dorian and Felix decide to get married (whether it’s wholly officially recognised or not) to bind their powerful families together and make a point that political alliances are still possible and valuable if they don’t result in biological babies. Is it a love marriage from the start or did they do it out of political cunning but now realise it means more?

Felix, who is with the administrative Inquisition staff, is at some point handed some orphan baby to care for because everyone has too much to do. The kid has no other family and him and Dorian accidentally fall into the role of parents (and get together if they aren’t already).

One/some of their relatives or friends get offed in some political plot. Dorian and Felix, currently back in Tevinter trying to reform it, are left caring for their orphaned baby. Are they already together and realise they’re now basically starting a family or does this bring them closer?

So mpreg probably can’t be something that’s usually possible for human and other magically talented races, as otherwise Dorian’s whole backstory collapses in on itself. Or maybe there’s some sort of stigma against it in Tevinter as it is traditionally thought to produce or for some reason actually does often produce less magically powerful children? But Dorian wants a child with his lover/husband Felix, anyway, and goes against all established norms and traditions.

Dorian and Felix stumble over some ancient magic artefact that leaves Felix pregnant with Dorian’s baby. Do they consider reverse-engineering the magic? What does it feel like for Dorian that he may give his father exactly what he wants in the end, an heir? That must be a weird and not altogether positive feeling.

The secret to mpreg/fpreg is discovered in Tevinter during the timeline of DA:I. Great, now it wouldn’t be a problem anymore to favour someone of the same gender and Dorian can marry some magically gifted dude he will never get along with and they can despise each other till they’re both old! Dorian, of course, promptly decides to scandalise everybody by marrying Felix, whose lack of magical talent basically makes him a no-go as a partner for the entirety of Tevinter’s upper crust, male or female.

Mass Effect Trilogy

Male Shepard/Javik
Javik is possibly my favourite companion in ME3 and I love his interactions with Shepard. He’s so abrasive, but the longer you talk to him, the more you realise that the glorious Prothean empire they taught them about when he was born was really already a long lost memory in ruins and he lived his whole life in a total dystopian nightmare, only to wake up to the next apocalypse. I like Default Shepard just fine, but feel free to make him look different and give him a different first name. Paragon, Renegade or Paragade/Renegon (mix-and-match choices) all work, too, though I wouldn’t want a Shepard who is totally irredeemable. I also like Javik having touched the Echo Shard, but would not want him to go through with his plans to kill himself (but feel free to have him stop at the last possible moment). As for the Endings… I like Destroy least, but whichever one you want, as long as Shepard lives somehow, really! I’m not attached to any of them and I’d also be totally fine with modified endings or with the blunt idea of the Crucible just being a big Reaper-targeting gun, if that suits your story better. For smut, I prefer bottom Javik. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Javik.

I would love for Javik and Shepard to still be out there helping people after the end of the Reaper war. Javik doesn’t really have a place in the new world yet except at Shepard’s side – and him realising that his place being there is true in many ways would be great.

Javik and Shepard fighting together and being big damn heroes. That’s it, that’s the prompt. Would especially love it if they had complimentary skills, like perhaps a soldier or vanguard Shepard who makes use of the biotic setups that Javik can create, or whatever else you can think of.

Was there even time for something like romance back in Javik’s day? Or was it all forbidden by their multitude of strict rules to keep people focused? Did people do it anyway? Whether Javik ever had a real boyfriend or not, the man’s definitely dead now (and considering probability, may actually have been one of the indoctrinated people from his ship that Javik was forced to kill). With all that in mind, how does he go about starting a relationship with Shepard?

What about Shepard? Did he have any romantic entanglements? Maybe he’s just over that break-up with Kaidan or Ashley (most likely ones due to ME2, but others are fine too), or swore off relationships a while ago for some other reason, and now there’s Javik and suddenly, on the eve of the Apocalypse, he wants more.

Shepard is interested in Javik, but there is an extinction event going on and they’re both twelve flavours of traumatised. But when Shepard recovers after the Crucible incident, suddenly him and Javik have some time and get closer.

As above, but Javik and Shepard tell themselves and each other the fact that they keep falling into bed together is just them letting off steam. It’s definitely more.

Paragon Shepard (or hell, maybe even Renegade Shepard!) enjoys cuddling, hugging, physical affection in general. Javik needs a bit to get used to it, but finds he’s just as touch-starved as Shepard and really loves it, to his own embarrassment.

Maybe Javik is the one who is unexpectedly touchy-feely with a partner – after all, Protheans communicate and read through touch. Shepard didn’t think he’d be into it, but he actually totally is.

Generally, I’d prefer for Javik to have male human-ish genitalia. It’s also fine if he’s a hermaphrodite, though – I don’t think it was ever said how Protheans procreate, or how many sexes/genders they had, aside from like one line Javik said that may or may not have been another weird Prothean joke (three or more genders or just one could also be options, after all). The two of them just intimately exploring each other would be a lot of fun.

Javik had his trysts with half-opened armour on some military cots back in the day and that’s probably how it went with Shepard at the start, too. It’s really the only sort of sex he knows. Now, after the war, they suddenly have time. Cue Javik getting really flustered/insanely turned on/probably falling even harder (or all of the above) when Shepard decides to spend an evening going really thorough and slow.

How does the Prothean touch-reading thing work with sex? Maybe Javik is unfailingly good at predicting what Shepard wants him to do in the moment? Maybe Shepard asks Javik to be as vocal as possible to pay him back in kind, since he can’t do the same for Javik?

Shepard is suffering from PTSD in ME3. Maybe Javik notices through his touch-reading or just context clues and surprisingly turns out to be quite helpful? He must have some strategies to handle it, considering, well, his entire life. Maybe they can also heal together.

Javik gets hurt on the battlefield, but fights on. This is pretty normal to him as they didn’t have much time for any not totally necessary medical treatment back in his day. To his surprise, after the mission is over, Shepard sits him down in the shuttle (or wherever) for some first aid to hold him over until he can get to an actual doctor. Javik probably gripes that it’s a waste of time/resources, but boy does it not help his crush on Shepard.

Javik bodyblocking for Shepard or otherwise saving him at the risk of his own health. It’s totally just because Shepard is the avatar of this cycle and not because Javik has a big crush on him.

If Shepard has one of the firmer personality types (Renegon, Renegade, or even an outspoken Paragon) I could see him and Javik clash often at the start. Their frequent arguments let them get to know each other, though, and they find they have common ground as well.

The Crucible really is a Reaper-killer weapon and the destiny-choice machine was an indoctrination hallucination. Shepard fights through it and uses the weapon and then meets Javik again.

If Javik touches the Shard, he will want to kill himself to be with his crew. I would love for Shepard to either talk him out of it or become the person Javik wants to live for (not the most psychologically healthy thing, maybe, but let’s face it, the bar is low for Javik), and maybe from there Javik can go on to establish a real foothold in the new cycle, too.

Shepard and Javik building a new life for each other after the war and getting used to peace (something which Javik has never actually seen before and Shepard hasn’t experienced in a while), whether that be on a Spectre ship or in a house on a quiet farming colony.

Shepard and Javik adopting some little war orphans and perhaps settling down after the war would be cute. Also, in case you want to go for mpreg, maybe Protheans can have babies with anyone like the asari. Male Awakened Collector Adept/Javik
The Awakened Collector Adept is a class you may remember from the ME3 multiplayer and the existence of these rare thinking Collectors has always been absolutely fascinating to me in regards to Javik. He’s the last Prothean, but here are these mutated Protheans, completely jacked up with cybernetics, that used to torment his people for as long as Javik was alive. Now suddenly one is standing in front of him and has returned to being a creature that can think for himself and seems to remember his Prothean legacy. The fact that either of them is still alive must mess with both their heads. What do they make of it? Does the Awakened Collector feel uncomfortable around Javik at first because he’s such a stark reminder of what he isn’t anymore? Does Javik feel conflicted being around the Awakened Collector because he’s so used to seeing them as enemies, twisted images of Protheans? Or are they simply glad to find someone who still remembers a little of their old lives, even if they might come from completely different generations of Protheans? Their Reaper war spanned centuries, after all. As for the Echo Shard, I like Javik having touched it, but would not want him to go through with his plans to kill himself (but feel free to have him stop at the last possible moment). As for the Endings… I like Destroy least, but whichever one you want, really! I’m not attached to any of them and I’d also be totally fine with modified endings or with the blunt idea of the Crucible just being a big Reaper-targeting gun, if that suits your story better. For smut, I prefer bottom Javik. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Javik.

How do Javik and the Collector Adept meet? Perhaps Javik is fighting Reaper creatures (mid- or post-game) and suddenly finds a Collector Adept, or a small group of them, fighting by his side. When the fight is over, he investigates.

Maybe the Collector Adept is someone who actually saw the Prothean Empire at its height, right before the Reapers hit them, and still remembers. It would be interesting for Javik to meet someone who lived through what he only knew from memory shards.

Javik and the Collector Adept could also come from the same time period, though, or at least similar situations of Everything Is Fucked Already. This would mean neither of them has ever seen a world without war. Them exploring what peace means together after the war would be awesome.

Maybe, through a great coincidence, Javik and the Collector Adept actually do know each other, and meeting Javik again is what breaks the last shackles of the Collector Adept’s indoctrination? How does it go from there?

The Collector Adept considers himself an avatar of vengeance, as per the game wiki. Javik is probably the last avatar of vengeance the Protheans actually elected. I could see the awakened collectors (or the Awakened Collector) rallying behind him as his disciples.

How conflicted does Javik feel about the Collector Adept? After all, he has killed a lot of those in his lifetime and now it seems like the Protheans they were weren’t completely lost. Of course, he had little choice, but it must be strange. And then he starts getting closer to the Collector Adept...

For that matter, how does the Collector Adept see himself? He’s been made to fight against his own people, against these new people, and now he’s suddenly in control of himself again, but genetically modified and filled with cybernetics and only a shadow of what he was. Maybe he and Javik can help each other through their respective feelings of guilt.

Did the Collector Adept spend all those thousands of years in some sort of stasis, much like Javik, or did he actually live through some or all of that time? Even if he fought for the Reapers only in the majority of the Prothean war, he could have centuries of experience. Maybe Javik learns to find his perspective quite intriguing.

Smut would be interesting. In which ways are their bodies the same, in which are they different? Does the Collector Adept still have the Prothean touch-read ability? If not, how do they make up for that? Does the Collector Adept have some issues with his body, seeing it next to what he remembers a “real” Prothean’s body looking like? Can Javik convince him he still wants this?

The two of them fighting together, being a great team of biotic bad-asses.

How do they deal with suddenly being in a world beyond war when the Reapers are beaten? A world that neither of them feels like they belong to, at that. Maybe this is how they slowly get closer as they try to build another life?

If you want to go for mpreg, maybe to both their surprise, there’s enough Prothean left in the Collector Adept to get Javik pregnant. Or maybe it’s a conscious decision they make, trying to bring the Prothean species into the next cycle (thinking they’re only working together on this pragmatic goal, but then falling in love), or simply because they want to have a family after never having such a chance in their cycle, or losing their family if they had one.

Avitus Rix/Evfra de Tershaav
Evfra and Avitus would make for a great couple, I think. They’re both no strangers to loss and to fighting and leading. Avitus, especially if he accepted the role of turian pathfinder, is basically walking Evfra’s path of trying to push back against what killed the loved one he lost and they might appeal to each other in that way. However, I could also see Evfra having compassion for Avitus if he became a mercenary – sure, Evfra did something different in response to trauma, but I imagine there must have been points in his life where he considered giving up, too. Maybe Avitus becomes a contact on Kadara and later Evfra’s mercenary, getting his second chance that way? And then there’s the turian SAM if Avitus is a Pathfinder... we know very little about this SAM, other than that he got thoroughly shaken by Macen’s death. How involved is he? For smut, I prefer bottom Evfra. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Evfra.

The turian pathfinder is put in charge of assisting the angara with rediscovering other possible homeworlds. This means Evfra and Avitus now work pretty closely together. Over time, a connection sparks between them.

I have a letter dealing with the turian SAM’s involvement in their relationship, so if you’re interested in exploring that (perhaps even to the point of basically making it Avitus/SAM/Evfra, if you’re so inclined), that’s would also be cool.

Mercenary Avitus seems to keep away from factions on Kadara, mostly helping settlers. This gets him on Evfra’s radar as a possible contact on Kadara. After meeting him in person a few times (a mercenary who can move among the new aliens is pretty handy) and getting some intel from Jaal, Evfra feels like Avitus deserves the second chance he obviously wants to deny himself. He did not plan to become this closely involved, though.

Mercenary Avitus taking more and more important jobs from Evfra, eventually realising that he’s kind of helping people again, and that he’s enjoying it, and that he really likes working with Evfra.

If Evfra and Avitus have both lost their partner (Evfra could have had a husband among his lost family), it’d be sweet to see something melancholy and slightly hopeful. Maybe one of them gets drunk on the anniversary of their partner’s death/disappearance (for Evfra, of course also because of the other people he lost) and the other joins them and just stays around as a shoulder to lean on. And maybe through that, they come to realise they really like each other.

Maybe, pathfinder or not, Avitus becomes one of the first Nexus people to settle on Aya to stay with Evfra. How does he integrate into angaran society? Can Evfra help him?

Avitus and Evfra exploring a rediscovered world together. Maybe Pathfinder Avitus even prepared it (Vault etc.) and now gets to show it off to Evfra?

Evfra bringing Avitus to where he used to live before everything went to hell with his family. Where is Evfra’s home? And is Evfra bringing him to show him some of his life, or is it a coincidence that they are there for a mission and Avitus eventually has to ask why Evfra seems so tense?

Avitus showing Evfra around the Nexus, or maybe taking him for a ride to a new world on his pathfinder ship. I’d love to see more about Avitus growing into the pathfinder role/gaining the confidence to face the people at the Nexus again if he’s a mercenary.

Avitus and Evfra together in a fight! Battle couples are awesome and the leader of the Resistance and an ex-Spectre are going to make a hell of a team.

But also, Avitus and Evfra getting to relax. Maybe they have a drink at a bar on the Nexus or in a private space, or talk to each other about anything and everything, or they just nap on each other or have slow, passionate sex.

For Art: Any illustration of the above would be great. Angara and turians have fairly different character designs, with the angara being more made of round lines and the turians all hard spikes, so just seeing them together halfway or fully undressed would be interesting (doesn’t have to be porn, but could also just be them bathing or lounging in bed together). A kiss or forehead bump (because of missing turian lips) would be cute as well. The two of them working on something together, whether at the HQ or in the sense of fighting together, would be cool – I love couples being competent together. However, I’d also love a picture of the two of them stretched out on some pretty beach or meadow on Aya or enjoying themselves sight-seeing on the Nexus or a colony world.

Akksul/Evfra de Tershaav
Oh, this one is so interesting. Evfra and Akksul have a lot of similarities, both being leaders who managed to galvanise sizeable movements, and both doing what they did because they felt that the current version of the Resistance wasn’t useful. I think Jaal may have pinpointed the difference between them quite well, though: Evfra is a pragmatist. That’s probably also why his version of the Resistance persists, despite everything, whereas the Roekaar were a more volatile, unstable group. Still, I feel like Evfra and Akksul would have a lot to talk about if they met again and that they probably see more of themselves in the other than they are comfortable with. They would bounce off each other in a really fascinating way and I’d love it if they found a way to get closer. For smut, I prefer bottom Evfra. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Evfra.

The Moshae encourages Akksul to work with the Resistance again. Evfra decides to keep an eye on him because he’s not ready to deal with the Roekaar 2.0 (and maybe because he has a feeling Akksul is going to report back to the Moshae about him). It affords chances for Akksul and him to talk.

If Akksul is around the Resistance past what happened on Havarl, he’ll learn about the Remnant’s creators at about the same time as Evfra, probably (if not through the Resistance then from the Moshae). Does this get the two of them talking?

Evfra was not having a fun time of it with the Resistance: the kett always having them on the back foot, the Moshae gone because one of his lieutenants betrayed them, the Roekaar... maybe by the time Akksul splits and he has to start allying with aliens who could be up to anything to get any foot on solid ground, Evfra wonders privately if Akksul isn’t right that he has become ineffectual. And maybe in some squabble or fight with Akksul, this does shine through a bit. Evfra does obviously think he has to show a front to be a leader, but maybe Akksul, who himself has failed in his cause, finds him more likable knowing Evfra has doubts, too?

Something that might be interesting is that even if they’re in a relationship, Evfra might find it difficult to relax around Akksul. After all, isn’t he basically proving Akksul right that he’s not good enough every time he’s not putting his all into the Resistance? And wouldn’t Akksul be correct that Evfra could do more to help instead of making out with his boyfriend? So that could potentially be an unhealthy dynamic that develops accidentally out of his accumulated guilt and that Evfra has to fix.

Evfra’s career in the Resistance began with a raid on a kett labour camp – which we could assume is the one where he might have expected to find his family, but obviously didn’t, even if he freed a lot of other people. The fact that a kett labour camp is exactly where he couldn’t save Akksul from might sting. Basically, he can see his old failure in this failure. Does this influence how he approaches Akksul?

Akksul was a brilliant archaeologist. Maybe now that he’s returned, he rediscovers his passion? A lot of new things are being learned about the angara, after all. And that’s interesting to Evfra, too, because it directly impacts, well, all angara. Maybe getting back to his calling is what Akksul needs to heal.

Maybe Evfra is even the one who purposefully pushes Akksul to get back to archaeology, subtly trying to help just by handing him small Remnant tech stuff and asking if he can figure it out for the Resistance, or so the aliens don’t get the jump on them with all the research.

Obviously his time at the labour camp majorly messed with Akksul, not that it’s a surprise. Can Evfra maybe help him with the trauma if Akksul lets him? I’m pretty sure Evfra must have met many people who have gone through similar things.

Maybe Evfra kind of admired Akksul’s strong-headedness. He says that he used to think that Vehn Terev always questioning his orders was a strength (before he turned traitor), so someone having their own opinion isn’t something he dislikes. Besides, he obviously approached the new aliens with suspicion, too, so it’s not like he doesn’t understand Akksul at all.

So Evfra obviously knows how to pull people together or the Resistance wouldn’t be as it is, but Akksul definitely had the majestic public speaking angle down in a way I don’t see from Evfra, the grumpy cat. Maybe Akksul surprises Evfra by actually helping him with that skill?

I could see all sorts of sparks flying between Akksul and Evfra if you keep them in a small space. Maybe their more intimate relationship actually starts out as pretty explosive borderline-hate sex rife with power struggles? But obviously they do that in private, and then maybe Akksul stays in Evfra’s bed sometimes, and you can’t sit in complete silence if you’re already having breakfast together, and...

Or maybe they slowly realise they actually get along and sort of stumble into a romance that neither of them expected.

Akksul actually supporting Evfra in his job, maybe surprising Evfra by doing so. Evfra isn’t perfect, but he’s probably better at this whole Resistance thing, after all, Akksul eventually admits to himself.

Akksul seeing Remnant tech on new worlds or showing it to Evfra in older places. Evfra doesn’t seem to have a head for archaeology that we know of, but maybe he’s still fascinated, with both the Remnant stuff and with Akksul’s vast knowledge about it, even though Evfra understands only about half of what he’s saying on a good day.

I’d also like to see the two of them relax for a bit? Their lives were pretty wild lately, Akksul going from being a prisoner of war to a counter-Resistance leader, having his whole view of himself change like three times within the span of, what, two years? And Evfra’s life must be non-stop action ever since he started with the Resistance. So maybe they can just hang out on a nice beach or have a drink in private or sleep in.

Jaal Ama Darav/Evfra de Tershaav
I always thought these two would make a sweet couple. Jaal is very much the quintessential angara with his emotional honesty, whereas Evfra seems unusually closed-off for his kind. Opposites attract! Whether it’s set before, during, or after the game, it’s all great. For smut, I prefer bottom Evfra. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Evfra.

Evfra obviously can’t be on the frontlines all that often since he’s running the Resistance, but we do see that he goes out to fight sometimes, like at the end of the game, and he’s known for being good at it. Jaal and him kicking some ass together would be great.

Evfra and Jaal going out to some of the planets the new map established and finding old angaran worlds would be cool. Or maybe Jaal just taking him to an especially beautiful, newly rediscovered place! It would be very nice for Evfra to get out a little.

The angara pushing the kett back in some place and Jaal, who helps at the front lines with Evfra, proving to Evfra how much he has learned in his time with the Pathfinder (and making Evfra’s crush on him that much worse).

Jaal being with the Pathfinder will obviously make Evfra pay more attention to him. He always figured that he was a very capable soldier (he even calls him his best in one conversation in the game), but now Jaal is showing other talents, too. Naturally, Evfra starts to work more closely with him and suddenly they spend time together...

Evfra is well aware Jaal has a crush on him, but he’s likely some 10 years older and has a lot of baggage, so he doesn’t think he’s the right person for Jaal. However, Jaal is persistent and charming and talented and Evfra isn’t made of stone, no matter what people say.

Evfra has a bit of a crush on Jaal that he’s not going to tell anyone about, ever, counter to how angara usually act (and perhaps also for the reasons stated in the prompt above). Jaal finds out somehow, anyway, and is quite intrigued.

Evfra and Jaal, true to the angaran habit of emotional honesty, start sleeping together to let off steam. But what happens when they start pining? Because Evfra might not be so honest about that and Jaal might think it means he’s not interested... how do they manage to get together?

Angara are wild about family, so I’d love Jaal and Evfra tentatively thinking in that direction. There are probably lots of orphans around and I’d love that option (maybe one started following Evfra or Jaal around?), but maybe some angaran males can also get pregnant? Being mpregnant might not help Evfra’s mood, but building a life with Jaal sure would.

If they’re together before the Pathfinder mission starts (or just sleeping together, but realising how much they miss each other being separated this much), I would love to read about their brief but surely passionate meetings whenever Jaal is back on Aya.

Evfra is a fairly severe and headstrong guy and maybe Jaal thinks Evfra wants to top and thus leaves that spot to him – which Evfra doesn’t mind at all. He’d just really also like for Jaal to fuck him, but it doesn’t seem like Jaal is interested in it and surely someone like Jaal would tell him, since he’s so open about everything else. Jaal is maybe just suffering from a bit of timidity in front of the leader of the Resistance, or thinking that since Evfra very rarely speaks about what he wants or likes, he should go by his best guess. He in fact would very much like to top Evfra. Can they figure it out?

I’d love for them to do something light-hearted, like explore a kink together (although if you want some inner conflict, maybe it’s a kink one of them is ashamed about – my go-to suggestion is Evfra wanting to sub or Jaal wanting to Dom and wondering what the other would make of that, but feel free to go for something totally different, too!).

Jaal finds out that Evfra used to sub to his late husband (and perhaps to others) and is very interested. Evfra eventually agrees to teach him. Basically, I really like experienced sub/newbie Dom, so, this is that!

Evfra may have lost a husband (and perhaps even children) with that family the kett stole from him. I could see Jaal being the first person who reawakens the desire to have a lover and/or a family again. How does he deal with it?

Jaal is still somewhat unsure of his way in life when he goes with the Pathfinder. I’d love it if becoming more secure in his role also led him to realise he wants to take a shot at dating Evfra (and if Evfra finds this new confidence low-key quite attractive).

Jaal introducing Evfra to his big family as his boyfriend. Obviously every angara knows who Evfra is and Jaal even has family in the Resistance, but this would be a very different context. How does Evfra deal with suddenly being swept up in a typical giant angaran family again after shutting himself off for so long after losing his own?

Jaal and Evfra writing messages and e-mails while Jaal is with the Pathfinder, chatting, videochatting, just having a budding (or established) long-distance relationship.

Both Jaal and Evfra worked themselves ragged lately. Maybe they get to take a few days off together after the kett have been pushed back?

Whatever the angaran equivalent of a marriage proposal is! That, and the build-up towards it/what happens afterwards would be great.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Male Sith Warrior/Cytharat
I love Cytharat! I’m very much into the noble, polite, upstanding kind of Sith and his romance was very cute – but way too short. Please fix it for me! I would love to see Cytharat’s and Wrath’s relationship develop beyond the kiss that they had in game and generally also learn more about who Cytharat is aside from a Lord who got disgraced by association with his master (or perhaps he actually did do a lot more than that for Darth Malgus’ rebellion, either out of loyalty or because he believed in his cause? It’s never made quite clear, which is interesting). I would also love for him to find a place in the Eternal Throne part of the timeline and beyond. For smut, I prefer bottom Cytharat. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Cytharat.

If your story is set after “Mission to Nathema”, feel free to keep the Eternal Fleet around if you want to or find some other way to keep Wrath in the race between the factions. Wrath being forced to align with the Sith or Republic again is definitely also very interesting (and I don’t have a preference for who he chooses), but I similarly enjoy him being able to lead a third power. You can make Wrath human, cyborg, Zabrak, or Sith Pureblood or even another species if you can somehow make that fit with his backstory on Korriban, I like it all. Personality-wise, the only thing I wouldn’t really enjoy is a crazy axe murderer type DS Sith – I prefer pragmatic evil, though Wrath can certainly indulge in wanton destruction here and there, being, well, Wrath. However, I’m also totally fine with him being as Light Side as you want, mix-and-matching choices, or deliberately going Grey, especially when it’s set later in the story and he realises there may be a chance for him to carve his own path with the Force.

Cytharat said that he wished “to fight as one” again. I want that, too! And I want them to actually fight side by side! Perhaps Wrath takes him on his ship, since Cytharat doesn’t have an assignment yet, or they run into each other again during some mission. Rekindling the budding romance is of course very appreciated.

Just having Cytharat around as a romanceable companion with his own sidequests and opinions and relationships with the others on the Fury would be a lot of fun.

I can’t see Cytharat stopping his search for Wrath if they were in a relationship by the time he got frozen. Cytharat being around for the scenes where it’s originally just Koth, Lana, and HK-55 to rescue Wrath would be awesome, especially since as a well-mannered, noble Sith he doesn’t seem the most natural fit for that ragtag gang.

Cytharat has to recover for a while after Makeb, but maybe Wrath and him can keep writing e-mails once he’s good enough to be out of the kolto tank sometimes? They didn’t have a long time to get to know each other and this would be a good way. Would also love to read about the reunion afterwards, of course.

Cytharat and Wrath meet again during the formation of the Alliance, as Cytharat wants to help. It’s been over five years and they only had one kiss, so neither of them probably wants to make assumptions. Except boy did that kiss stick with both of them.

Despite his successes on Makeb, maybe the brass still doesn’t trust Cytharat. Wrath does, however, and it’s not like he doesn’t keep much weirder companions. He takes Cytharat on his ship, where they either a) dance around each other since especially an LS Wrath might not want to take advantage and Cytharat is too polite to push the Mighty Wrath, or b) fall into bed the first night and Cytharat just straight up moves into Wrath’s personal quarters. (Other combinations and ideas also welcome, of course.)

Since they meet on Makeb, and supposing they stay together once Cytharat has recovered, their whole relationship happens in pretty interesting times, what with the Shadow of Revan and the stuff following immediately after. Maybe sometime in, uh, after Eternal Throne-ish, they actually get to take a day off and have a date?

For smut, Wrath is Big Strong and generally rowdy, so him throwing Cytharat around during sex would be fun. Cytharat is a warrior, too, though, so I’m sure he would be able to give him a fight. They might break a bed or two, but they always have fun.

A Wrath who isn’t a Sith Pureblood might not have dated a Sith Pureblood before, and maybe Cytharat never had a boyfriend who is whatever species Wrath is. Intimate exploration ensues.

So Cytharat had gotten hit pretty hard by the time you find him on Makeb and the kiss happens, but I feel like he revealed a bit of a mischievous side there, with that smirk and comment after the kiss while he’s sitting there all but holding his guts. Perhaps Wrath expects Cytharat to be kind of stiff in bed, but Cytharat surprises him by being very eager and/or kinky.

Alternatively, maybe Cytharat usually keeps a handle on himself during sex and still appears controlled and dignified, but Wrath is so good Cytharat totally looses it.

There are so many possibilities for angst during the whole Eternal Throne saga. Cytharat seems like a fairly controlled person, but I could see him eventually just greeting his crush/partner Wrath with a big hug or something similar and then being very flustered about it. Wrath could probably need that hug, though, even being a big bad Sith.

Cytharat and Wrath building some sort of routine on Odessen would be fun. If Cytharat was never on his ship, they haven’t really lived together before this.

Cytharat and/or Wrath tried to move on after Makeb, since really, they didn’t exactly have much of a romance and then things went crazy and so they never got to follow up (though for Wrath, I’d prefer he dated/slept with OCs to move on, since I actually like most of the canon romances and would be sad if they ended, lol). That other interim relationship is over now or was always just sex, but the other one learns about it and thinks they missed their chance. Lots of mutual pining ensues.

Cytharat remains friendly with the Alliance, but thinks he has to be loyal to the Empire and following Wrath might just be a repeat of the Darth Malgus debacle (besides, they only kissed once and the fact that he’s still hung up on it is frankly kind of sad). Would love him finally throwing caution to the wind and run to join the Alliance (and possibly also run into Wrath’s arms).

So, about Cytharat’s redemption: We don’t quite know if it’s only the association with Darth Malgus that got him blacklisted, or if he actually worked with him up to a certain point. This might be interesting especially considering what that would mean for his reaction to a DS Wrath turning Grey or generally building a new faction. How and why does the staunch Cytharat break from the Empire and become Alliance first?

I’m also very interested in Wrath. Does the Eternal Throne story make him pivot more light or dark? Does he maybe enjoy the chance to shake off all these shackles and just do his own thing? Does he enjoy being the leader for once instead of the tool or is it daunting to someone who was mostly “guy who punches” up to this point? And how does his relationship with Cytharat play into all this?

It’s a running gag to the Alliance that Lord Cytharat doesn’t seem to need his quarters because he spends every night in Wrath’s bed. Do they realise how fast they started getting so close or did it creep up on them?

I love mpreg! Maybe the Force did it, maybe an ancient artefact did it, maybe it’s just Sith Pureblood biology, but Cytharat suddenly finds himself pregnant with Wrath’s baby. How do they deal with it?

For Art: Any of the above scenarios would be awesome. I really like Cytharat’s character design, so anything where he is on full display with Wrath would make me happy; and as for Wrath, I’d love to see what design you imagine for him (or even draw your own Wrath from the game if you have one?). I would also love to see Cytharat in traditional/formal Red Sith clothing (I don’t know if something like that exist, but feel free to make up something) with Wrath also dressed up in whatever would be formal clothing to him. On the other hand, Cytharat looking dishevelled after a fight or sex or simply because he was caught in a storm or just stumbled out of bed would be great, too, maybe with an equally dishevelled Wrath looking on with interest? As always, I’m also easy for any pictures displaying physical affection of any sort, so that would be great. Wrath visiting Cytharat while he’s in treatment (hand-touching with the glass of the kolto tank between them?) would be super sweet. I’d also love them kissing/hugging in the debris of Koth’s ship/the jungle of Zakuul shortly after Wrath’s rescue if Cytharat came along.

Theron Shan/Male Sith Warrior
I really liked the Theron romance and to be fair, it has a lot of content, especially compared to some of the romances which only have a few minutes or even a single scene. Alas, I am greedy, and I want a lot more. Theron also suffers a little bit from being in the part of the story where the characters had all been mashed into the Outlander, so I’d love anything that explores him dating Wrath specifically, with references to his base game backstory, his role in the Empire, all that good stuff. Generally, however, I do also want to see the day-to-day life, their downtime, their adventures, their... nightly activities, everything the game had to skip over for time and resources. For smut, I prefer bottom Wrath. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Wrath.

If your story is set after “Mission to Nathema”, feel free to keep the Eternal Fleet around if you want to or find some other way to keep Wrath in the race between the factions. Wrath being forced to align with the Sith or Republic again is definitely also very interesting (and I don’t have a preference for who he chooses), but I similarly enjoy him being able to lead a third power. You can make Wrath human, cyborg, Zabrak, or Sith Pureblood or even another species if you can somehow make that fit with his backstory on Korriban, I like it all. Personality-wise, the only thing I wouldn’t really enjoy is a crazy axe murderer type DS Sith – I prefer pragmatic evil, though Wrath can certainly indulge in wanton destruction here and there, being, well, Wrath. However, I’m also totally fine with him being as Light Side as you want, mix-and-matching choices, or deliberately going Grey, especially when it’s set later in the story and he realises there may be a chance for him to carve his own path with the Force.

Theron and Wrath fighting, kicking ass and taking names. I love fight scenes with partners who work well together and these two have many opportunities!

Wrath is one of the characters who might not feel terribly at home in the role of Emperor/Peacekeeper of the Eternal Fleet. He had an important position with the Sith, of course, but such a political role is a bit off the tracks of his usual job. Add to that him maybe pivoting a little more grey than he used to be and being outside of the Sith framework and I can see him floundering. Would love it if Theron helped him see that he can make a pretty fine leader and generally help him.

Theron sets up a secret mission for Wrath that includes some honey pot elements because intel says the person is into Wrath (possibly in a somewhat creepy way, if it’s a baddy). Wrath thinks it’s funny, but Theron realises while coordinating and watching over cameras that actually he doesn’t like watching someone all over Wrath at all. Pining ensues.

Theron was pretty tsundere at the start – he wouldn’t like a Sith! Except he totally does and now he has to deal with that. Is Wrath waiting for him to come around or flirting mercilessly or just kissing him silly (because let’s face it, he’s not the most subtle guy)?

I’d like to know the trajectory of their relationship with that five year gap in the middle. Were they only kissing before or was it more? How does their first evening alone go after the reunion? We usually see them around company in game or taking five away from the others but not really having much time, so it’d be great to get their extended private moments.

I understand that Wrath is the Outlander by the point of Eternal Throne, but I’d love some Wrath-specific romance stuff! He always seemed pretty impulsive and a little feral to me in the base game, so did he ever throw Theron over his shoulder and carry him off? Kiss him in front of the whole Alliance while the holovid recorder is running?

After the Zildrog debacle, Theron says he will show Wrath for the rest of his life how much he loves him and Wrath can joke that he expects romance and all. He didn’t think anything would come of it, it was just banter, but to his surprise, Theron is very willing to oblige and actually does plan a nice date (whether they get to enjoy it uninterrupted is up to you).

For smut, if Wrath is a Sith Pureblood or Zabrak, I could see Theron not having any experience with that. Are there any anatomical differences as far as erogenous zones and other things go? I’m sure they have fun exploring.

I like bottom Wrath, but could see him going pretty naturally for the top spot. Maybe he’s never tried bottoming, maybe he’s learned that when most people get with the Emperor’s Wrath, being on top is not what they are looking for. Theron thinks it’s just a preference, but maybe one evening he asks if Wrath would bottom for him and Wrath obliges and finds himself enjoying it (or is unexpectedly enthusiastic from the start and Theron realises he’s wanted this for a while?). Or maybe Wrath is the one who brings up he’d like to try it?

Reunion sex after the carbonite freezing incident.

If Theron and Wrath were together before the carbonite freezing, those five years must have been pretty tough on Theron, especially since he also decided to leave the SIS. Would love to know more about Theron’s thoughts and feelings in that time. And Wrath doesn’t even know if he hasn’t been long replaced with a different partner!

Both of them have plenty of opportunity to get hurt and frequently do in-game. Some hurt/comfort for one of them dragging themselves out of the latest clash would be great.

Speaking of physical hurt/comfort, I would love some after Wrath just absolutely gets wrecked in some epic battle where he is giving Theron some time to do spy things or save people while being a distraction. Wrath standing in a heap of enemy bodies/droid parts when Theron finds him, half ripped to pieces and probably not even looking unhappy would be such a great reflection on the sort of role Wrath probably sees himself in (because bless him, but Wrath doesn’t seem like the brains of the organisation to me).

The repercussions of Nathema on their relationship could be quite interesting. I could see Wrath forgiving Theron fast because, hey, everything turned out better than expected! Besides, Wrath generally isn’t the master of emotional reflection. But Wrath has a damn collection of knives in his back by this point – his whole base story has so much betrayal in it – and perhaps it turns out he’s starting to have a bit of a trauma here and it’s not quite so easy to trust Theron again. Basically, I’d love for them to navigate some murky waters that don’t lead to them breaking up, but which means they have to actively work on their relationship to get happy again (and possibly Wrath has to stop pretending he totally is not subconsciously emotionally affected by things). Both Theron’s and Wrath’s perspective would be interesting here.

How does Theron feel about dating a Sith? He doesn’t break up with him even if Wrath is proper DS, which is interesting. Even if he is more LS, though, he was still, well, the Emperor’s Wrath. I’d love to know more about Theron’s feelings about the relationship.

Overwatch

Genji Shimada/Tekhartha Zenyatta
This pairing is one of my constant favourites. Genji and Zenyatta just seem so familiar and comfortable with each other in the game, but there’s also this whole host of history that is only hinted at there with how Genji came to Zenyatta torn up about his past and not at peace with himself. I would love to read everything, from AUs where they met in completely different ways (perhaps based on their skins? That’s always fun), to their time at the Shambali temple, to established relationship fic of them travelling the world. For smut, I prefer bottom Zenyatta.

From what we’ve seen of Blackwatch Genji in the archive missions, I don’t see him bending his knee to monks too quickly. Perhaps he was streaking about the Shambali temple, very conflicted, and Zenyatta was the only one reckless enough to approach him; or perhaps Zenyatta and him met when Zenyatta was travelling with some of his brothers and sisters. I would also love an AU where maybe they didn’t really start out as master and student at all. Perhaps Zenyatta was just curiously investigating a place he was visiting with his fellow monks and met Genji and befriended him without the thought of teaching him – or they even had a brief affair that then turned into something deeper. Or maybe Genji saved Zenyatta from some anti-omnic terrorists. Or whatever else you can come up with, I’m ready for all.

As I said, I also would love to read something about their adventures travelling together, how they help people, fight together, live together, and perhaps even go to the Overwatch recall together.

I’d like to read something that touches on Zenyatta’s decision to leave the Shambali, since it’s never really elaborated on outside his wiki description. I suppose Genji was still around when Zenyatta decided to turn his back on the Shambali, though he probably didn’t do it before he figured Genji didn’t need him anymore. What was it like for Zenyatta to make that decision? It couldn’t have been easy. If you track his history, he was never not either a service bot or with the Shambali, so he’s never been alone out there in the world. Is he scared, excited, conflicted? All of them, none of them? And what does Genji think of it? Does he feel abandoned? Is he worried that he won’t see Zenyatta again, or that he will be hurt out there in a world often hostile to omnics? Or does he support the decision, having seen Zenyatta was unhappy perhaps even before Zenyatta admitted it to himself (maybe he was even the one who, in conversation, steered Zenyatta to think of new paths)? A lot of ways this could go.

Zenyatta is pretty young, all things considered; 20 by the time the game’s story starts, so maybe about 15 or 16 when he first met Genji? Omnics start as adults, of course, but experience must be gained by all living creatures. Perhaps there has just never been an opportunity for him to really fall in love before and Genji is the first person he crushes on. Is he excited and curious, or is he worried that his role as guide and master forbids this? Does Genji catch on? (I do hope he reciprocates, of course.) Similarly, Genji was kind of a playboy back in the day, so I doubt he had many meaningful romantic relationships, and he probably wasn’t up for serious relationships in Blackwatch days. So despite the fact that he has a good few years on Zenyatta, he may also not be used to building lasting romantic connections – and now he has to do it while being in this new robot body, which he has a complicated relationship to.

Genji and Zenyatta seem to have split for the time being, but a story of Genji racing back to Zenyatta after the attack on Mondatta and him comforting Zenyatta (and Zenyatta comforting Genji, who certainly also knew him) would be great. Perhaps this plus their separation is what finally pushes them to admit their feelings.

For smut, I prefer Zenyatta bottoming, if they even do anything that requires top or bottom because I imagine robot/cyborg bodies may have entirely inhuman ways to connect (literally via USB port? In the Iris?). While I do like human-ish genitalia for Zenyatta (intersex, female or male, or something that has similar functions but looks a bit different, maybe like simple sex toys, considering his model is so basic), I also really enjoy that Zenyatta is such a standard model with wires showing and made of probably (or not?) unfeeling, scratched-up metal in many parts. So wire play and all that could be really fun! Or maybe he doesn’t even have any sexual organs or software capability to experience sexual pleasure and gets them installed for Genji? Or he has them and hasn’t used them much? But Genji used to be a player, I bet he has a few tricks up his sleeve... Also, using sex to make Genji feel good about his body is always great, too.

Maybe you want to go for something more out there, so I should say I always love AUs that somehow incorporate the alternate skins the characters have. Both Genji and Zenyatta have a number of skins that tell matching stories. The nomad Genji skins, for example, which seem to be decked out for desert exploration, pair well with the Egypt-themed divine bird skins. And wasn’t there even a little story about a wandering Genji finding the Eldritch Zenyatta? The Lunar skins pair off nicely, and demon Genji also works really well with the Sanzang one, since Sanzang actually was hunted by demons quite a bit in Journey To The West. Nvidia Zenyatta (which is what the black-green recolour is called in my mind) looks like he could have been part of Blackwatch, with such an edgy design. And so on. The mix and match potential for AUs is pretty much endless here.

For Art: An illustration of any of the above prompts would be perfect, but also a picture of Genji and Zenyatta at the monastery, meditating together, travelling together. Maybe Genji tries some food he never had while Zenyatta watches, or Genji shows Zenyatta around a Japanese festival. The two of them sparring or fighting enemies together would be great fun, too. I also enjoy anything to do with their abilities – maybe Zenyatta heals Genji with his orbs or hugs him with the abundance of transcendence arms, or Genji protects Zenyatta with the help of his dragon.

I’m very fond of all three of these characters and would love to see them working together, maybe during the Overwatch recall. Genji and Jesse already know each other, but what was their relationship in Blackwatch like? Does it influence how they treat each other now? How does Jesse get along with the new and reformed version of Genji? And what does Zenyatta think of Genji’s old acquaintance (or friend, or lover)? We don’t see them together in game, but I feel like Jesse and him might get along. Then, of course, there’s the dynamic between all three that could go so many different ways. I’m totally happy for this fic to also include Jesse/Genji, Genji/Zenyatta, or even Jesse/Zenyatta, as long as they all eventually end up in a closed triad and their threesome relationship is the focus. I also wouldn’t want anybody deliberately cheating on anyone else, but muddled feelings and we’re-pretending-we’re-FWB-but-we’re-pining type of deals are totally fine. For smut, I prefer bottom Zenyatta and have no preference between the other two.

Genji is the obvious anchor point between them. Maybe he had a thing with Jesse in Blackwatch that was probably a bit more than they both pretended it was? Or maybe they broke up after a tumultuous relationship, but never quite stopped pining? Zenyatta senses the old connection and tries to help and accidentally ends up in the middle – but it works out.

However, I could also see Zenyatta and Jesse getting along well. Maybe it’s the first time Genji starts to think of Zenyatta as someone who is even interested in romance and sex, and maybe Zenyatta really has no experience and asks for a few pointers from his friend? Genji tries to help and accidentally (or maybe purposefully?) muddles his way into the budding relationship. This suits all of them very well.

Genji is with Zenyatta, but, after reuniting with Jesse, confesses to Zenyatta that he has feelings for Jesse, too (whether that’s new or from when they worked together before). Is Zenyatta worried at first, even though he might try to hide it, and perhaps a little jealous (which isn’t very zen)? Or is he also already interested in Jesse, too, and they start courting him? Maybe Zenyatta takes an unusual approach, being spiritual as he is, and encourages Genji to explore the feeling to see which man he would prefer, but Genji finds that he wants both?

As above, but Zenyatta is only pining for Genji, not in a relationship with him. In that situation, he has no reason not to encourage him to go for Jesse, even though that probably hurts like hell. However, Jesse notices there’s something between Genji and Zenyatta there as well that maybe neither of them managed to address...

Maybe Genji never figured out how to turn from student to potential love interest, or was too afraid to compromise their friendship, or didn’t think Zenyatta was interested in these things at all, since he’s a monk. Jesse, however, doesn’t have any of these hang-ups and flirts brazenly with Zenyatta. To Genji’s surprise and consternation, Zenyatta is into it. Not that Genji doesn’t understand being attracted to Jesse, mind you... how do they turn this situation into something that involves all of them?

Jesse and Genji have always had casual sex and pick up on that again when they meet during the recall. On the other hand, Genji and Zenyatta have that strong personal connection, though this is platonic (or so they tell themselves). Jesse is jealous of Zenyatta; Zenyatta is jealous of Jesse. However, they both find they like the other one too much to really start sniping at each other. Genji, meanwhile, is probably tearing himself apart about loving both of them and wondering if he’s still an asshole playboy and just can’t shake that part of him. Can they all get it together?

Smut it always fun! I prefer Zenyatta on bottom, if they even do anything that requires top or bottom because I imagine robot/cyborg bodies may have entirely inhuman ways to connect (literally via USB port? And, of course, I love me some Overwatch AUs based on the skins. Nvidia Zenyatta (which is what the black-green recolour is called in my mind) looks like he could have been part of Blackwatch, with such an edgy design. They all have Lunar skins, too. The Monk, the Swordsman and the Gunslinger interact during the Junkenstein event and that is fun. Or any other combination of skins you can think of! I’m certainly interested.

I also enjoy anything to do with their abilities – maybe Zenyatta heals the DPS with his orbs and during transcendence he has way enough arms to hug them both. Genji could protect Zenyatta and Jesse with the help of his dragon, or maybe Jesse saves the two of them with a well-timed High Noon.

Doomfist: The Successor | Akande Ogundimu/Maximilien
This is such an interesting couple to me. They seem to work together and ostensibly have similar goals, but it’s clear that Maximilien’s capitalist interests do not actually mesh that well with Doomfist’s more idealistic idea of the kind of war he wants. Maybe Doomfist also has Maximilien’s involvement in his capture figured out or at least suspects it? Nevertheless, they are both men of great power and ideas. I’d prefer an approach where they’re attracted to each other/fascinated with each other/possibly even in love despite themselves to a fic where they just despise each other 100 per cent – though I figure that occasional hate sex is definitely something that happens between them, and they might even tell themselves that’s all it is. They both know that there’s probably no future together for them, but still, there’s something there. The dangerous power play between them, the repercussions and details of their long relationship that was alluded to in canon, perhaps the attempt from both sides to move the other closer towards their own vision (out of stubbornness or affection), the explosive fights and subtle manipulations, maybe even the unlikely happy end (whatever that looks like for men like them), I’m here for it all. For smut, I prefer bottom Maximilien.

Let’s say Doomfist knows who got him thrown him in prison. On the one hand, he wants to take Maximilien apart like a toy doll, but on the other, he’s kind of impressed how well he managed to organise this and now he’s so important to Talon’s finances that Doomfist can’t easily get rid of him. Maximilien, for his part, is both afraid of retribution and of what Doomfist wants to do with Talon, and grudgingly admires that he somehow managed to escape the trap Maximilien put down for him. Maybe some post-prison not safe, not sane, but consensual sex? Or their argument when they first speak about it?

Generally, I love scenarios where they know how dangerous the other is to them, but absolutely cannot stop themselves from playing with fire.

However, I’d also like to see their first meeting, long before all of that happened. The comic implicated that they have known each other for a long time. Is Maximilien already on the path to becoming the powerful businessman we know him as, or does he use an opportunity Doomfist creates for him to launch himself into the career? And at what point of Doomfist’s life story that we know of do they meet?

Early into their partnership, Doomfist decides that Maximilien should at least know some self-defence and convinces him to spar with him. Can Maximilien hold his own even a little? He probably won’t beat Doomfist, but maybe he can learn to slip away. Or did he only agree to it to turn it into a more intimate version of sparring?

Related to above, maybe a fic about them escaping a dangerous situation together or defeating some enemies? Is Maximilien of any use in a fight or can he maybe find some other way to be helpful?

I’d like to know more about Maximilien’s past. He might have lived in unpaid servitude, been mistreated by his master or other humans, or have been originally built as a sexbot (references to past noncon/forced prostitution are fine here). Few omnics come out of the factory this jaded, right? And perhaps when he met Doomfist, he didn’t just see him as a chance to advance, but was also impressed by his strong ideals – even if he eventually came to disagree with them. Would love to see both, Maximilien’s growing fascination with Doomfist, or his inner conflict between loving the man but thinking he’s going to, well, doom them.

For some reason, Doomfist and Maximilien have to pretend to be a couple – one of them needs a plus-one for a festive occasion (matching suits!), Doomfist wants to catch someone who frequents a seedy club for people with an omnic fetish, anything like that. And maybe it becomes just a little more than an act.

AU idea: Maybe Doomfist’s and Maximilien’s conflict is for show and one of them already convinced the other of their ideas long ago. They coordinated the capture to put Overwatch off more important trails and then staged an escape when it was convenient. Maybe making the other members of Talon think there might be tension between them is even part of the plan?

Smut is always fun! Has Doomfist ever been with an omnic? Has Maximilien been with a human before? Maximilien obviously likes the high-class look, so I’m sure he has top-of-the-line mods installed in that department, too (I’m fine with full male set, additional female genitalia, or something that doesn’t quite align to human expectations at all). How does Doomfist like them? Them trying out a new addition might be fun, too.

Following the smut prompt above, Doomfist is confident, so I could also see him asking Maximilien to make some smaller modifications just for him, too, and Maximilien actually complies (just because the sex is good, of course, not because he likes Doomfist or anything...).

For Art: An illustration of any of the above prompts would be perfect, but I would also just like to see more of them together – there’s only a few comic pages so far. Anything catching the tension and interest between them would be great (maybe Doomfist holding Maximilien with the Big Hand?). Also, Doomfist in a suit, whether it’s his Formal skin or some other piece of formal wear, to match Maximilien’s get-up, maybe at a fancy party of in Maximilien’s casino. We also never got Maximilien dressing up for the masquerade, though he was in the comic with the name (Doomfist had his awesome frilly get-up, of course). I would love to see them flirting in expensive, high-class Venetian carnival costumes. Maximilien getting his fancy clothes ruffled, whether by means of smut or in a fight, would be hot, too. I’d also love to see him ducking behind Doomfist in a fight while Doomfist does his thing (or maybe Maximilien can even help out? People did want him to be playable... what would be his powers?)

I like this pairing as something that may have a light chance of becoming permanent, so I suppose this is the Maximilien redemption arc request stack, since Baptiste wouldn’t stick it out with a full-on Talon believer. However, I’d also be very happy with a prequel where they’re both still at Talon and Baptiste is still loyal or only just beginning to question what is happening (and maybe prompting Maximilien to do the same?). I love me some characters who pride themselves on their lack of morals and their cynicism having to eat crow and actually experience growing some ethics and falling in love, so that’s Maximilien. Then there’s Baptiste, who already made the switch to the light side, but has quite the complicated past with Talon – and perhaps with Maximilien? How does that catch up to Baptiste, mentally and otherwise? Maybe he becomes the initial contact point for Maximilien to reach out to, or maybe they have never quite stopped talking? What I really enjoy about Baptiste is that he’s already had a solid character arc and I’d love to know more about his changing mindset, too. The contrast between his now firm believes and Maximilien’s attitude that everyone has a prize makes for an interesting clash as well. For smut, I prefer bottom Maximilien.

Baptiste made it through the omnic war, but doesn’t seem to have any issues with omnics. Was that always the case or was he wary of them at some point? Maybe meeting Maximilien was a turning point? Maximilien is hardly a good guy, but he’s very personable and starkly different from a mind-controlled war machine getting sent to raze a country.

Maybe Maximilien has reasons to be distrustful of humans or people in general, too. He might have lived in unpaid servitude, been mistreated by his master or other humans, or have been originally built as a sexbot (references to past noncon/forced prostitution are fine here). Few people come out of the factory this jaded, right? And now here is Baptiste, ostensibly a good person, and try as he might, Maximilien just can’t find the catch. It drives him mildly insane.

During his time with Talon, Baptiste is around as protective detail when Maximilien gets attacked. He ends up badly wounded, but Baptiste makes sure he remains stable and functional. What starts out as gratitude from Maximilien turns into more.

Talon Baptiste is basically Maximilien’s sugar baby and for a time, that’s fun (especially since Maximilien doesn’t mind making generous charitable donations as gifts to Baptiste) and he has quite the crush. However, Baptiste eventually starts to question Talon. Maximilien, who purposefully never escalates a relationship to actual boyfriend status, figured it would be no problem to let Baptiste go once he became troublesome, but alas, maybe he’s in much deeper emotionally than he admits...

Smut is always fun! Has Baptiste ever been with an omnic? Has Maximilien been with a human before? Maximilien obviously likes the high-class look, so I’m sure he has top-of-the-line mods installed in that department, too (I’m fine with full male set, additional female genitalia, or something that doesn’t quite align to human expectations at all). How does Baptiste like them? Them trying out a new addition might be fun, too. I also enjoy them trying out things that don’t map so easily to human bodies, like wireplay.

Maximilien is at odds with Doomfist, to put it mildly, and we’ve already seen him waver about something Doomfist said (‘I can’t do this’), so I have this unlikely pet theory that he’s going to switch sides and finance new Overwatch, at least covertly. Maybe Baptiste, already knowing him from back in the day, talks him into it? Or maybe Maximilien approaches Baptiste? And maybe what Maximilien figured would simply be a way to get rid of a Talon that has turned too extreme for his liking actually brings him closer to the values of the heroes?

Maximilien gets badly hurt during a fight, maybe by Null Sector, maybe by Overwatch, maybe even by careless Talon troops. Doomfist, who realised who put him in jail, takes the chance to leave him to die. Baptiste saves his life, since he knows Maximilien and decides that maybe he can be turned (or perhaps simply because it is against his ethics to leave a non-combatant to die, even if they are on the enemy team). Basically captive at Overwatch and betrayed by his own people, Maximilien nevertheless decides to work with Overwatch and starts falling for Baptiste in the process.

Maximilien tried to bribe Baptiste to stay with Talon. Baptiste turned him down, no matter what he offered. Maximilien was so impressed with someone who so thoroughly subverted his expectations that he never told anyone where Baptiste is, though he knows.

Baptiste and Maximilien used to be together. Years after Baptiste leaves, he finds out that there is still regular donations being made to his clinic by one of Maximilen’s shell companies. He gets a chance to talk to Maximilien about it at some point. He claims he forgot, but Maximilien never forgets about money. Maybe Maximilien misses him a bit more than previously thought. Baptiste decides to see if he can’t cajole Maximilien, but turns out Baptiste isn’t quite built for honey pot/hostile seduction and accidentally rekindles old feelings.

Let’s hypothesise that Maximilien has a heart. Maybe he really does balk at the large-scale war that Doomfist’s and Null Sector’s new collaboration would create. Frantically looking for a way to reverse the path of the destruction of the monster he’s helped create, he finally makes contact with Baptiste, who has, after all, accomplished what he’s now trying to do in leaving Talon. As Baptiste helps Maximilien untangle himself, they get closer.

For Art: An illustration of any of the above prompts would be perfect, but I would also just love to see them... in the same frame together. I mean, I obviously like this couple, but they haven’t exactly met in game yet! A picture from their shared Talon days, with Baptiste in his uniform being protective detail to Maximilien in a snazzy suit would be great. Or maybe Maximilien insisted his bodyguard also has to look good and/or inconspicuous and put Baptiste in a suit as well for some official function? I’d also enjoy them meeting at a later stage, or something fun like pirate skin Baptiste capturing Maximilien as booty. Maximilien’s clothes being a bit messed up after a fight or a kidnapping by Overwatch or a quickie with Baptiste would also be hot. Would also love to see a picture of Baptiste using his powers or generally being a medic and helping a damaged Maximilien.

Vampyr

Jonathan Reid/Sean Hampton
Sean is the love interest I wanted! I enjoy how gentle and meek he is, but also how he obviously has a lot of courage and a stubborn head of his own. Meanwhile, Jonathan cares about people, but is a very good protagonist in that he seems always ready to push his own will through. Plus, they are both caretakers (who are also people-eating monsters) in their own right. I can see everything from tooth-rotting fluff to the two of them solving crimes and helping people together to even them getting into an argument over something they are at odds about and having to resolve that somehow. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Sean. For smut, I prefer bottom Sean.

I would still love a version of the game where Sean is the love interest instead of Elisabeth. I don’t mean repeating the whole game, of course, but changing/adding some scenes. Sean’s already Princess Peaching it in Bishop’s den where you valiantly save him, it’s the perfect set-up for a charged conversation or three back in the hospital. Perhaps Jonathan can get some comfort and guidance from Sean by half-alluding to the terrible situation he’s in (or Sean, having known vampires for a decade, surprises Jonathan eventually with the revelation that he knows very well what Jonathan is and is not afraid of it). I’d also enjoy scenes of Jonathan returning to him between missions and/or an adjusted ending where Jonathan goes to Sean afterwards. Maybe they help Old Bridget clean up the sewer hide-out, which could be a sombre scene, since Sean also considered the Skals his flock. Or, for something happier, they could simply celebrate the end of the epidemic and Jonathan’s survival.

Jonathan is the fighter of the two, but I can see Sean throwing himself into an altercation to help a wounded Jonathan, too. Dude turns into a pretty high-level feral Skal with shadow clones when you leave him to the blood of hate, so he could probably at least hold his own for a bit, long enough for Jonathan to recover; but he’s also not someone used to fighting and might get pretty banged up. I just like them working together or saving each other and any situation where that happens would be great, plus them taking care of the problem for good once they have licked their wounds.

Sean is worried about one of his flock who has been behaving very strangely, or something else that is fishy at the docks, and him and Jonathan solve the mystery and get closer again in the process.

Or the other way around, Jonathan has a mysterious case at his clinic who also asks for spiritual guidance and so Jonathan goes to find Sean, who gets some strange half-confessions and pleas for help. Who is responsible? What is going on in Londontown this night? I don’t know, but Sean and Jonathan may end up kissing while they find out.

They also generally have a lot of enemies: the Ascalon club could be going after Jonathan for not heeding their wishes or become too interested in what a weird Skal type Sean is, other elder vampires might come back from the continent and bring their own entourage, there’s the Guard of Priwen and certainly other hunter factions, too, some less respectful upstart gang or union member with his cronies around Sean’s territory could be trying to teach him a lesson... these two have their hands full.

I’d also love a quieter fic about their relationship which just kind of tracks its development. Does Jonathan ever introduce Sean to... well, what’s left of his family, his mum and his butler? Probably not as his boyfriend, but maybe he wants to see Sean make a connection with them. What about sex? Sean is probably a virgin, apart from what happened to him. Does he ever say more about that to Jonathan when they get closer? Does Jonathan try to let it start slowly to get him used to it, or does something happen unplanned that perhaps surprises them both? I somewhat prefer bottom Sean, but both works.

I’d also love them dealing with the actual fallout of the Spanish flu epidemic (that still happened, after all) and/or the returning soldiers. There’ll be a lot of work for a spiritual caretaker and a doctor to do.

Also, Jonathan returning to London after the second-worst ending, when he failed to save Elisabeth and might just generally feel terrible about himself and Sean meeting him and the two of them attempting to put their lives back together while getting closer, that would be nice.

I’m also a sucker for vampires feeding and hurt/comfort, so if Jonathan or Sean got hurt and the other offered them some blood, that would also be a great fic. Skals don’t seem to heal as well or quickly as Ekons, either, so maybe Jonathan can put some proper bandages on Sean, too, or Sean could allow him to do that examination he rejected at first (that part could probably veer into a smut prompt, heh).

Jump forward in time! I’d love to see their established relationship thirty, fifty, a hundred years down the road. How do they live? Or, perhaps they haven’t always been together, but they meet again like eighty years later or something and fall in love.

Finally, Jonathan went through seven kinds of hell in the span of like two weeks in the game (and for that matter, Sean wasn’t exactly having a great time, either). If at some point he runs out of energy, or just has a break-down as it all catches up with him, I would love for Sean to be around to pick him up and comfort him and commiserate (even if Jonathan might feel that the rather rough manner in which he saved Sean should preclude him from such sympathy).

For Art: I’d definitely like anything to do with the prompts above. Otherwise, I’d love to see Sean and Jonathan before the backdrop of the dark London we see in-game that both of them fit into so easily. I’m also always here for anything that shows their height difference. One of them carrying the other would also be cute (with Skal strength, Sean should be able to manage it now!). Also, put Sean in Jonathan’s coat! Or other versions of clothes-sharing, I always enjoy that a lot. The two of them fighting together or Jonathan teaching Sean how to defend himself in a sparring match would be nice. I’d also love a quieter depiction of them just hanging out or cuddling. Maybe Jonathan introduces Sean to his mother and/or butler? A picture of them together in a later time-period with appropriate clothes and styling would also be awesome.

Geoffrey McCullum/Sean Hampton
These two don’t meet in-game, but I feel like it’d be really interesting if they did. Geoffrey has probably never met a Skal like Sean before and his new perspective (either because he is a vampire or because Jonathan spared him) might keep him from killing him outright, and Sean could be really good for him, since surely Geoffrey must be affected by what has happened to him recently one way or the other and could use someone kind who is generally ready to listen and help. Besides, someone’s gotta keep the city standing if Jonathan left to America/the castle, and Sean and Geoffrey are both involved in doing just that, in their own ways. That would give them many opportunities to interact. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Sean. For smut, I prefer bottom Sean.

What I would also find fascinating is that if Jonathan didn’t turn Geoffrey, Arthur’s blood might still have done it eventually, and perhaps Sean just happens upon Geoffrey when that occurs and helps him through it. That would also create an interesting connection for them.

Hell, for all we know, Geoffrey and Sean could have met before the game. There’s a note from Geoffrey saying he knows they don’t have enough recruits at the East End docks, so it’s not impossible he would walk the perimeter there himself sometimes and eventually meet Sean and even befriend him, since Sean is just a human at that point. I would love a calm-before-the-storm kind of mutual crush or cute romance between them pre-game (which might already be tinged by Sean probably lying to Geoffrey about the undead part of his flock). Alternatively, how would poor Geoffrey react to his crush or even boyfriend turning into a Skal? Would he find it his responsibility to kill him but can’t bring himself to? And then he (potentially) changes himself...

Jonathan could introduce Sean to Geoffrey before he leaves London with a footnote to Geoffrey to keep his hands off of Sean if he doesn’t want to get in trouble, but I’m sure Geoffrey would still want to keep an eye on this Skal positioned just at the right place where he could make people few would miss vanish. Sean working to get his trust and actually getting it and more would be fun.

Geoffrey and Sean are both from Dublin and have both left terrible memories behind there. How interesting would it be if something necessitated that they have to go back, some case they both try to solve or some vampire/hunter threatening them? I would love to read them navigate the city and their own pasts together. Alternatively, I also like them speaking Irish together, talking about a street or something they both might have known; or perhaps Geoffrey used to be a proper Irish Catholic boy once upon a time, too? Just things like that which provide innitial connection points.

How does Sean manage to talk his way out of being immediately murdered (or has Geoffrey perhaps mellowed a little bit and now does give vampires who look reasonable a chance – but then again, Skals can’t be reasonable, right...)? How does Geoffrey come to tolerate and like this weird uncommon Skal? Does Sean think he’s a thug at first and later comes around, or does he see something else in him straight from the beginning?

This mess of a threesome is another favourite idea of mine. There’s just so much charge there: the anger Geoffrey must feel for Jonathan, particularly if he has made him an Ekon, his aggression towards vampires turning against Skal Sean, but his newfound knowledge also perhaps halting him and showing him that both Jonathan and Sean might be the kind of vampires who don’t deserve death and thus confusing him a lot in the process. Sean is likely still a bit resentful towards Jonathan, if his curt answer concerning an examination is anything to go by, and Geoffrey would probably scare or at least worry him, but I think Sean would also try to help Jonathan and Geoffrey both if he knew the extent of their tragedies. Finally, Jonathan sees the good in both these men, but also has to live with the things he’s done to them, and, considering how Geoffrey hunted him, is probably as angry at him as Geoffrey is at Jonathan. This fic can of course also include Geoffrey/Jonathan, Jonathan/Sean, or Geoffrey/Sean as long as it eventually turns into a triad. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Sean. For smut, I prefer bottom Sean and have no preferences between the other two.

Jonathan is of course the logical connection point between them, so it might start out with him in a relationship/flirting with one of them first before the other joins. But perhaps Jonathan also takes a bit of a break from London after the game and finds his progeny have gotten to know each other in his absence.

A story idea for established relationship could be the three of them getting locked in somewhere and fighting their way out – though Sean is not much of a fighter, but perhaps he can make a good blood bag for the other two to replenish after or during the battle? (Then again, we know he turns into a tough mini boss if you let him deteriorate, so perhaps there’s more to him in a fight than anyone expects.)

Considering how long an examination of how they got together could go, I’d also be perfectly fine if you skipped to an established three-way relationship kind of deal, just showing how they deal with the world as a triad. How do they approach new threats in the city, how does Geoffrey keep his fellow guards from killing his boyfriends (and potentially himself), do Geoffrey and Sean help Jonathan at the hospital or with searching for a way to quell vampire hunger, and do Geoffrey and Jonathan make sure the shelter stays safe?

I would also just like to see them hanging out, bickering, doing naughty things. These boys are busy, I’m sure they could all stand to relax together sometimes. Just one or all of them reflecting on the relationship would be really interesting, too.

If Geoffrey was not turned by Jonathan but by Arthur’s blood, Arthur might come over to London to take a look at his newest progeny and in the process also meeting his younger brother Jonathan and Sean the weird Skal. Whether that is a good or bad thing remains to be seen, but it might bring the three closer together.

Perhaps Sean isn’t quite comfortable jumping right in with two men at first, so they ease him into it. Or Sean is a lot more ready to experiment than they exptected and they have fun with that. Perhaps a little later into their relationship, the two of them are so busy bickering that Sean somehow ends up taking control at some point and makes them do what he wants to get this show on the road.

The three of them in full battle mode (or Sean hiding behind them while the other two are) would be awesome, too, as would be Sean patching up the two warriors, or Jonathan and Sean both nursing Geoffrey after a scuffle. Any gesture of affection, like a three-way hug, sleeping in a pile, or sharing clothes between the three of them would be great, too. A picture of them together in a later time-period with appropriate clothes and styling would also be awesome.

Tom Watts/Sean Hampton
I know they don’t meet in game, but Tom and Sean obviously know each other and seem to like each other and respect what the other does, too. It makes sense, of course, since they’re the human protectors of the docks (well, Sean being human to a point), but on the other end, innkeeper and night asylum keeper-turned-local saint are also fairly different jobs. I would be happy for anything from their first meetings and budding friendship to something where they’re already familiar with each other to a post-game story. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Sean. For smut, I prefer bottom Sean.

I’m sure Tom and Sean end up in each other’s territory a lot. Sean looking for lost sheep he hasn’t seen in a while, Tom dragging a drunk customer shelter-wards, running into each other after Tom locks up and Sean is out searching the streets for lost souls... what is that like?

Them caring about a common friend with a problem – maybe Dyson or Bishop – and getting closer while they do so.

Hurt/Comfort in either direction, or even both. I’m sure they could both need someone to lean on themselves every once in a while.

Specific H/C scenario would be Sean waking up from his Blood Of Hate-stupor after Jonathan broke him down psychologically to make him drink and Tom comforting him (whether he knows what’s going on or not). I mean, if there’s ever a moment to have a nervous breadown, it would have been after that.

Did Tom ever feel the need to confess his past to Sean? Either because he needs to get some stuff off his chest, or because Sean is not local, after all, and Tom wants to give him a chance to judge him on his full merits? And/Or did Sean allow Tom to ask him about the gossip that’s out there about Sean’s past?

Sean gets roughed up by some gang thugs, maybe when he’s not quite so established yet, or by newcomers who don’t have the same respect. Tom helps him out.

Perhaps Jonathan arrives just a little too late and Sean was already over the edge and going to start turning people, but happened to run into Tom first, who somehow manages to appeal to his humanity long enough for Jonathan to come and grab Sean to give him some Ekon blood (whether Tom stops Sean on purpose or just by being there). How does Sean explain his acting so erratically to Tom later – with the truth or some more realistic lie? Just how guilty does he feel? (And maybe while being half-mad he also spoke of how drawn he feels to Tom... ?)
Sean was Tom’s boyfriend already when he got turned. He attempts to break up with him afterwards for his own protection so he won’t be dragged into that world, but Tom demands to know what’s going on.

Does Sean ever tell Tom the truth about vampires, maybe to keep him safe, or because he trusts him, or because an Ascalon Club Ekon kicks down the door?

After being turned, Sean doesn’t intend to tell Tom about vampires, but how could you lie about something like this to someone you snogged behind the bar?

Tom somehow getting drawn into the whole affair. Maybe he ends up as an Ekon after colliding with Mary or one of Jonathan’s random Ekon attackers and Sean helps him out? Ekons can drink Skal blood and Skals only have to eat corpses...

Maybe the reason things never really got off the ground with Sabrina is that Tom is gay, though time and place being what it is, he prefers to keep that to himself. The same goes for his crush on Sean Hampton. How does Sean find out? Or does Tom eventually tell him?

I also like historical AUs where same-sex marriage is allowed, though, in case you want to go for something lighter. I bet if it were acceptable, there’d be some teasing about Sean and Tom tag-teaming so much to keep the district standing, and maybe eventually some actual courtship from the two.

Speaking of AUs, a no-supernatural AU where they “just” have to deal with the Spanish Flu and having to help their district through this difficult time and falling for each other in the meantime would be awesome, too.

Soulmate AUs are also great, for that matter. When do the two of them realise? Is it maybe a thing where you have to touch the person and so it takes them ages? Whenever it is, how do they handle it?

For smut, I prefer bottom Sean, but other than that, I’d really love to read anything. Is Tom the first person Sean is with willingly or were there others? Or maybe Sean is the first man Tom is with? But I’d also enjoy a Tom who is quite experienced and shows Sean a few things.

For Art: Any of the above prompts would be fun. I’d also love to see Sean resting at Tom’s bar and chatting with him at the end of a long night, or Tom helping Sean out at the shelter with laundry or food or some other little task. The two of them being sweet with each other would be awesome, too – just a peck or holding hands or casually leaning in to each other. I would also love to a see a picture of Skal Sean finding a newly turned Tom (maybe he’s an Ekon? It would also be interesting how his design would change were he a Vulkod). If marriage is allowed, or even if they do a wedding privately for themselves, a picture of the two of them getting married would be very cool.

I’ll never get tired of fanfic for them and I’m always happy to have more. I know it’s pretty difficult to avoid my cheating DNW while staying in the canon timeline here, so feel free to handwave their marriages away (annulled? they were widowed? divorce is allowed in Westeros? the wives have their own lovers and/or they are separated, if still married in law?) or have them never happen. For smut, I prefer bottom Davos. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Davos.

I generally like canon divergence AUs, like King Stannis AU. Maybe Renly decided to throw in with him and he got the throne after beating away the Lannisters (with Dany deciding to rule in Essos instead); maybe Stannis defeated the Others and also all the others who wanted the Iron Throne. Or the opposite – perhaps the rebellion failed and Stannis is now the captain of a mercenary band in Essos, where he meets smuggler Davos on the job, or he got sent to the Wall (Lord Commander Stannis AU would certainly also be interesting), where he gets close to Davos, who either smuggles close-by or is also convicted.

For a Modern AU, I’d be interested in seeing how one could tell a story with them in the modern world (whether it’s our world or Westeros with equivalent modern levels of progress and industrialisation). Would Stannis and Selyse have split up if they could? (Would Robert and Cersei, thereby preventing the whole murder thing?) Would Stannis be a lonely single parent overworked trying to pick up his brother’s slack at the giant family business, and Davos co-parenting his boys with his divorced wife? That would open the door to a lot of family fluff I like. For example, Stannis comes too late from work to find that his daughter Shireen had to go home from kindergarten with her new friend Devon, since they couldn’t wait around. But what kind of ramshackle neighbourhood does this Devon kid live in, anyway, and isn’t his dad kind of shady, if nice? But that’s just one idea – run wild!

For Modern AU, I’d also like to see if there was a way to make them as loyal to each other in the modern world as they are in canon. How did Davos gain Stannis’ trust here? Was there somehow another siege situation, young general Stannis and his troops locked down somewhere by enemy bombers and snipers with Davos sneaking in with a little boat? Or was it a totally different kind of situation where Davos’ criminal activities managed to help Stannis out of a serious, life-destroying bind? Or was it something completely different – maybe Davos saved Renly’s life or something? Also, is there any way Stannis could have still taken his fingers off without it turning into a major lawsuit (hell, maybe Davos would still have agreed to it; maybe it’s a honourable criminals AU and Stannis is high up in a sort of mafia-esque organisation)? Or has Davos maybe lost them doing something for Stannis? But it doesn’t have to be that complicated; I’d also love stuff like Stannis maybe learning about the fact that his new employee/long-time employee and confidant can’t actually read, which in modern times may be something Davos is ashamed to mention, and Stannis maybe helping him with that. Or some family time with Stannis’ brothers. Just how annoying can Renly be, trying to hook Stannis up with Davos, Stannis’ personal assistant at Stannis’ branch of the family business? (Or whatever other set-up you prefer, heh.)

Now that I got all the AUs out of my system, obviously I’m totally here for canon compliant or canon adjacent stories, too. I’d love to get a glimpse into life at court while Stannis was master of ships under Robert, or a reunion up in the North between these two. Shireen and Davos’ sons making appearances is also great.

Whether AU or not, I’m always here for these two being badass together. We don’t really ever see them fight together in canon and Davos is not one for all-out combat on the battlefield, as he said. But whether they get attacked by pirates, win a sea battle for Robert, fight off assassins, or get captured and then free themselves/each other or something, I want it.

Stannis is supposed to marry someone he finds completely unbearable; or Davos is being strong-armed into a marriage with a lord or lady who has taken a fancy to him and Davos doesn’t have the clout to actually say no. Stannis saves Davos or Davos saves Stannis by marrying him, blocking him for other connections. But of course, this is not the simple deal it seemed to be at first, since they both have feelings for each other.

It’s decided Stannis is better taken off the marriage market, so he is married to Davos, who has little and means nothing and won’t disturb anyone’s political games. How do they make their arranged marriage work? Were they already in love with each other, or at least one of them, or is it a slow process during the marriage?

For an AU, let’s say Davos’ sons were born of him, not of his wife (or at least however many of them would already exist at whatever time you want to set this). Stannis’ marriage got annulled because he and his wife didn’t have any children. Solution: Stannis is made to marry Davos, who has already proven fertile. He may not be a great choice status-wise, but hey, at least he’ll probably give heirs if Stannis can manage it this time.

Perhaps Stannis and Davos fell into bed together and the next time they meet, Davos is visibly pregnant. Once Davos tells him that yes, it is his child, Stannis decides he will marry him, come what may. Of course, it helps that he really loves Davos; but Davos may be worried he is just doing it because he’s so honourable.

Davos is a selkie shapeshifter. Stannis accidentally acquires his pelt, so now Davos is bound to marry him. Stannis finds out in the wedding night or shortly after they are wedded and of course now believes his husband was basically forced into the marriage. However, Davos really does love him. However, if you can think of a reason for Stannis to steal the skin deliberately (without this going into noncon), that would also be interesting! Or maybe he grabs the skin and now Davos considers himself married to him (while being aware Stannis probably doesn't think that way) and Stannis eventually finds out - about Davos being a selkie, or what him having the skin means (maybe if he already knew about Davos' nature), or both. Also, feel free to change all of these prompts around for Davos finding shapeshifter Stannis' stag skin.

Smut is always fun for these two. I could see Stannis having a lot of hang-ups around sex, and if he hasn’t been married before, he might even still be a virgin. Perhaps Davos can help him with that. I would also love to see Davos introduce Stannis to some kinks that he may not even have been aware existed. Or perhaps Stannis is into some more out-there things and ashamed of it (or perhaps he just thinks they are out there because of his lacking experience and it’s actually super vanilla, and when he confesses, Davos is trying not to laugh while being reassuring)?

For Art: Any of the above prompts would of course be great. I love their designs in the book and, while the show actors were very good in their roles, I would love to see a drawing of them closer to what they were described as there. Anything showing off how tall Stannis is would of course be great, since I’m into size difference. A marriage picture where they are wearing each other’s ‘maiden’s cloaks’, or one of them wearing the other’s, would be awesome. Stannis and Davos in mismatched clothes (Stannis in his noble garb, Davos in the simpler one he was described with) would be fun. However, I’d love to see Davos dressed up as a noble in general to match Stannis for some occasion, or, on the other hand, Stannis in simpler things maybe having a day out on Davos’ little smuggler boat or just as they relax in the evening. I’d also love to see some affection between them. Davos might be the more forward one here – kissing Stannis unexpectedly, hugging him, sitting in his lap in a private moment or even doing something more risqué. But maybe Stannis is also the one who surprises him with a touch?

Stanton & Barling

Hugo Stanton/Aelred Barling
This (so-far) two-book series is in great parts so entertaining to me because of Stanton’s and Barling’s relationship. Even though Stanton rolls his eyes at Barling a lot and Barling likes to criticise Stanton’s behaviour, you can feel how comfortable they are with each other by the end of book two, how much they obviously care for each other and aren’t afraid to show it. It’s such a nice development and I would like to see it taken further. For smut, I prefer bottom Barling. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Barling.

I’d seriously be happy for any sort of story with these two. Them solving a case (a gruesome murder like in the books, or perhaps even something that turns out to be a less serious issue in the end) would be super, and if they managed to pine and kiss somewhere in there I’d be ecstatic. But I would also like to see more of their lives in London!

Maybe they have a fling before Stanton even learns that Barling is gay. Barling hasn’t had alcohol in more than a decade, I assume he’s probably a lightweight, so if somehow he was convinced to drink, another squabble between him and Stanton might accidentally turn more physical in a good way; or perhaps they get to drunkenly discussing sexual things and one of them decides they have to do a hands-on demonstration. The morning after would of course also be priceless, especially if both of them really enjoyed it and/or even had a crush before.

Poor Barling thinks he’s going to the deepest pits of hell for being into men, but once upon a time he used to think that the love he felt for Richard exempted him from this being a sin. Perhaps, if there was a kiss or something between him and Stanton, he might even worry he’s predatory and seduced Stanton to sin. I would love it if Stanton could give him that security again, or at least a little bit of it, that what he feels is not actually sinful and that being in love is not something the devil caused, nor even are his sexual desires. It doesn’t have to be a total turnaround, but I’d love to see Barling start to heal from this unnecessary guilt he suffered from for so long.

Apparently Barling had such a great voice you could even make money off of it, even before he’d really practiced. I’d love it if Barling perhaps felt comfortable enough again to sing for Stanton, or Stanton eventually managed to beg long enough that Barling relents, lol. They could even have some bet running between them that Stanton wins, claiming a song as a price! Or Stanton overheard him while lying in bed one morning while Barling is already up and singing quietly to himself.

Relatedly, maybe Barling has written a love song about Stanton, as he did for Richard once. Does he sing it too Stanton? Is he too shy or too afraid after what happened last time, but maybe Stanton finds the scroll, or overhears Barling trying some of it out?

Stanton opening up about his own trauma with Rosamund would be great. I’d also love some possessiveness/protectiveness from his side because of that. After all, he’s come dangerously close to losing Barling, too, I’m sure that left some marks on him.

The two of them falling into each other’s arms after the monastery murder stuff is over with and then having to deal with their reaction after the high of emotions is over would also be great.

Barling isn’t used to romance, I assume, and Stanton hasn’t had a long-term lover since Rosamund; but both of them seem like they really do wish for someone they can love with all their heart and not just have in bed. The two of them just enjoying their time as a committed couple or the beginnings of their relationship would be great, realising that this is something that they can hold on to.

Stanton obviously has a lot of experience with women, but he hadn’t thought about sleeping with men before, and Barling had that one time with the prostitute that barely worked out and the, what, couple dozen times that Richard deigned to show him a good time? He did say it wasn’t as often as he’d wanted. They both have a lot left to learn, it seems, and I’d love for them to get to experimenting. Also, Richard doesn’t seem like the most selfless guy, so I doubt Barling knows what it is like when someone really sets their mind to making him feel good. Perhaps Stanton could show him! I’d also be here for Barling being quite desperate to impress Stanton, thinking he can’t measure up to his former conquests in looks or experience, and Stanton reassuring him (once he realises) that he doesn’t need to try so hard because Stanton already likes him.

For Art: All of the above prompts would be great, of course. Stanton and Barling sitting over their clues or Barling’s note and working would be great. Maybe one of their horses got hurt and now they have share a horse and they’re both a bit embarrassed? (Or, if they’re already together, Stanton is playfully feeling Barling up or hugging him from behind?) I’d definitely be here for a sweet kiss, too, or a very passionate one. I’d love an illustration of that scene in the second novel were Stanton pulls Barling out of the casket and maybe cradles him? The two of them sharing a bed at an inn would be great, too, or just hanging out somewhere private where they can hug or cuddle.

Yuri!!! on Ice

Christophe Giacometti/Georgi Popovich
I know they didn’t meet in the series – well, they did on the podium, I guess! –, but considering they’re “veterans” who are pretty close in age, I’m sure these two have run into each other time and again. With Georgi being all about romance and Christophe all about sex, they have a lot of passion (and potential for drama) between the two of them and I’m just really here for all of it. They could meet up at competitions, training camps, or Chris could just switch to Yakov’s rink, or Georgi come to train in Switzerland at Chris’ rink. For smut, I prefer bottom Georgi. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Georgi.

Chris moves to St. Petersburg to train under Yakov. Since Victor and Yuuri are busy with each other, Georgi helps with the move and they start hanging out.

Georgi moves to Chris’ rink to train. Chris is not used to having someone with at least comparable skill in the roster (though Georgi is not quite as successful, but he can peak high when he’s on his game, as we saw), so this actually turns out to be quite fun for both of them as it gives Chris competition and Georgi a chance to move out of Victor’s shadow. Plus, they start to get closer...

Georgi has a crush on Chris, but Chris is mostly with Victor when he hangs out with the Russian team. How does Chris find out? Maybe Georgi told Victor who blabbed to Chris? Or maybe Georgi is just really not subtle?

What does it look like when Chris tries to win someone over? Does he worry sometimes that he has no cards to draw when sex might not do the trick, like with a hopeless romantic such as Georgi?

Chris totally thinks Georgi is way too sappy and isn’t into being showered with love declarations and flowers and Georgi wanting a thousand kissy photos on social media... not at all... just maybe a little bit.

Victor’s and Georgi’s rivalry is so interesting to me precisely because it’s so uneven, with Victor barely having to pay him attention and Georgi’s whole career being defined by being second after Victor in Russia. I also find it very fascinating that they are both probably only two or three years away from the end of their careers at best. What is their relationship going to be like when suddenly it doesn’t matter anymore which one of them can jump more quads? As for Yuuri, I’d prefer if Victor either skipped the banquet or him and Yuuri are broken up again or it’s set before the series. For smut, I prefer bottom Georgi. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Georgi.

What would it look like if Victor tried to win Georgi over? He is not exactly averse to big gestures of affection, either, after all.

Ice skating seems to be huge in their world, considering the media all running after Victor, and everyone who has looked into real life ice skating fandom knows some of those people can be vicious. I’m sure if Georgi started dating Victor, he’d get dragged pretty hard (fans on social media and gossip mags speculating he’s just here to get at Victor’s wealth/fame). How do they handle that?

Even just between the two of them, Georgi has spent pretty much all his life in Victor’s shadow. Does he have to work through being jealous/feeling outmatched in the relationship? Does Victor realise what’s going on and try to help (or does he accidentally make it worse at first, considering how blunt he can be sometimes)?

Georgi seems like sort of an artsy type. It might be fun if he took Victor to a gallery or opera or whatever, allowing Victor to interact with things that aren’t ice skating-related.

A couple years down the line, Victor is at the end of his career and his relationship with Yuuri didn’t work out. They are both in a bad slump and somehow end up going on a road trip/having a drunken hook-up/doing any other number of strange desperate things that accidentally end up with feelings.

This is a great High Chaos Energy triad. All three of them are so extra, but they all do it in their own ways. Also, for Christophe and Georgi, Victor is the one to chase, but Victor outruns them with ease, which creates an interesting relationship dynamic; and as we’ve seen, Georgi can be pretty good when he’s not allowing his skate to escape him and getting distracted, so Christophe and him have probably been in direct competition during their careers quite a few times, too. They all just had a lot of years to butt heads and of course to get to know each other. This fic can of course also include Victor/Chris, Victor/Georgi, or Georgi/Chris as long as it eventually turns into a triad. For smut, I prefer bottom Georgi and have no preference between the other two. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Georgi.

Chris and Victor have an on-again-off-again relationship that never seems to fully stick. Georgi, newly disappointed by the whole Anya situation, decides that if he can’t have love, he’ll try to patch up theirs at least because he does think they’re a cute couple. Michele Crispino/Georgi Popovich
Georgi is a sleeping prince and Michele wants to be someone’s knight – it’s a match made in heaven. Besides that, Georgi may be the one person who would actually think of Michele’s somewhat overbearing version of love as romantic, since he’s himself dialled to 100 most of the time, anyway. For smut, I prefer bottom Georgi. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Georgi.

Georgi tells Michele how much he admired his skating. Michele never really had much contact with other male skaters (what if they hit on Sara!), but now he suddenly seems to be making a friend.

Georgi, Michele’s boyfriend, is out for an evening and Michele won’t stop texting/calling. Michele and Georgi find out they’re soulmates. How do they deal with that? I’m sure Georgi would wanna go for romance (though perhaps he is surprised it’s a man?), but Michele might somehow have thought he wouldn’t have a soulmate when he already has Sara. How do they find to each other?

For smut, Michele just doesn’t seem like he would have that much experience, if any at all, since that would have meant taking his attention off Sara. Georgi might also not have any experience with men. How do they fumble through it? I could also see Georgi knowing what he’s doing with a man, too, though, and really blowing Michele’s mind. Is Michele with his pure love-ideal shocked how much he likes sex?

I really like the idea of Michele being a bit kinky but not really okay with it, especially if it’s something that doesn’t seem to go with his knightly morals – for example, if he enjoys domming, doesn’t that mean he wants to hurt the partner he loves? Georgi is willing to try just about anything for a lover, though, and doesn’t judge him.

For Art: Any of the above scenarios that you might want to draw would be great. I also absolutely adore the weird aesthetic choices that happen all around Georgi. His costumes are obviously just amazing (both the glitter goth witch and Elsa’s jumpsuit), so I’d love to see those in a picture. I really like both of Michele’s costumes, too, and putting the knight and the prince/ss costumes together (or having them in actual knight armour and a prince’s outfit – or also, Georgi could be crossdressing). Or maybe older/new costumes from all of them? Especially if this is a picture of Michele and Georgi at a competition, or doing an ice dance. I also really like Georgi’s ‘internal’ world we saw on the ice, so I’d really enjoy anything that shows him and Michele in one of his mental settings. Another thing I like about YoI in general is the use of social media, so a picture styled to look like an instagram post would be a lot of fun (Mila basically said Georgi tends to post lots of ‘kissy pics’ with his partner! Maybe a series of posts of their friendship turning relationship?).
