greygerbil on AO3, thank you for writing or drawing for me! Right from the start, I want to say you don’t have to do anything with my prompts, they’re just here in case you want some ideas. If it has my pairing, one of my tags, and avoids my DNWs, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it! All ratings are great. I included a list of my general likes and smut likes which apply to all my requests. When it comes to kinks, you can include anything not listed under my DNWs.

Feel free to entirely erase the existence of canon relationships or break them up if they get in the way of the pairings I requested, whichever works best with what you’re trying to do.

Fic where the couple is not yet together but clearly in love, or on the road to getting together, or having their first time kissing/in bed together are great. However, so are established relationship fics. Whatever suits your ideas!

Some prompts may read like ideas for longer fics, but if you’re interested in them, please just grab a scene with the general idea out of the middle of those hypothetical longfics and write me that! I love fic of all length and don’t want anyone to feel like they have to go above the minimum word count. I just get excited writing prompts sometimes.

Considering the number of canons I have where you slaughter your way through untold heaps of NPCs, I should also point out I generally have no problem with gore, blood, and graphic violence.

Generally, I love a wide variety of different art styles, from traditional oil paintings to manga to western comics to cubism and everything in between, so please feel free to go with whatever you enjoy. I like stark black-and-white lineart just as much as elaborately shaded coal or pencil drawings and, of course, colours of every sort, traditional and digital alike. I’d very much like to see my requested pairings in your style, but if you have a specific stylistic idea, that’s always super fun, too.

Literally any motive that indicates it is shippy would always be appreciated, from hand-holding to explicit porn. I’m also always here for pictures of battle couples in action, if you enjoy fight scenes, or the characters doing simple, everyday things together and enjoying themselves. I didn’t give pairing-specific prompts this time, but the tags I chose might work as that, so I’d love to see anything that captures their general ideas.

Assassin’s Creed – Hytham/Eivor (Hytham hurt) & Hytham/Eivor (Eivor hurt)

Hytham’s relationship to Eivor in particular and Raventhorpe in general is something I really enjoy in this game. I love how the feast scenes show that Hytham quickly begins leaning into the whole Viking thing and how the others seem to have adopted this mysterious outsider and how Hytham actually seems alright with his plight of being taken off the battlefield and leading a bureau instead. Eivor and him have a really easy rapport, too, and the scene where Hytham taught him the leap of faith was really fun, not to mention that it’s a significant symbol of the series that these two characters get to share. It just always seemed like Hytham and Eivor get along well after they get over their initial distrust and I would have loved Hytham as a steady questgiver romance. For this pairing, I have no top/bottom preferences or preferences on who might get pregnant if you’re going for mpreg nor any preferences regarding A/B/O roles.

Works in either direction with these. I’m sure despite his lasting injuries, Hytham would still do his very best if he had to defend Raventhorpe or Eivor or an innocent; and we know that Eivor is a one-man war machine even when he’s already taken some punishment. The other person comforts the one who got beaten up while being very impressed.

Character insists on completing mission despite injuries

As above, both of them are also very dutiful if they think something needs to get done and would push on even if they’re hurt.

Perhaps the mission also has something to do with rescuing the other? That might make their tenacity quite romantic, too.

Eivor is quite bold, so I can definitely see him do this – just walking up to Hytham and pressing a kiss on his mouth while he’s still head-to-toe covered in the blood of their enemies (and probably his own). Is it a calculated decision to get some answer on whether his pining can lead somewher or not, or a spur-of-the-moment thing with his emotions finally getting the better of him?

Hytham is perhaps less likely to be overwhelmed by adrenaline, seeming generally calmer, but perhaps when it hits him, it really does, so that’s how he ends up kissing Eivor out of the blue after a harrowing fight against their enemies, or after defending himself/others until Eivor came along. Does he surprise himself as much as Eivor?

Who is the public and what do they think of it? This is still the middle ages, after all. Perhaps Hytham is shocked that Eivor would do such a thing, or panicked that he himself did, but the Raventhorpe Vikings generally seem rather egalitarian when it comes to homosexuality, so they’re just rolling their eyes like ‘you’re not actually supposed to do this in public’. I’d also love to see reactions from Sigurd and other friends of Eivor’s.

I could see this for either of them. Perhaps Eivor wants to protect Hytham, being more durable, or Hytham thinks it’s more reasonable for him to get hurt, since Eivor has a better chance at saving them. (Either of them is probably also motivated by their feelings for the other.)

One having to watch the other being beaten, humiliated, or tortured would be very painful for both of them, I’m sure.

The one who wasn’t hurt (and perhaps the one who was hurt, if he can still fight) exacting revenge on whoever hurt their lover/love interest would of course also be appreciated.

I love characters taking a blow or an arrow or a sword strike for their lover, so either of them doing that would be great.

Either of them shielding an innocent, or Hytham shielding someone Eivor cares about (Sigurd or Vili, perhaps) would be awesome, too.

Eivor comes to visit Hytham in his hut and finds him on the ground; Hytham takes a walk around the village and finds Eivor on the ground somewhere at the edge of the forest. They quickly make sure the other gets help and it’s quite difficult to hide their feelings when they’re this anxious...

I love characters accidentally revealing their feelings or secrets due to some altered state. Is it a full-on love confession? Maybe they just mumble that they wish the other character were closer/would touch or hug them? Perhaps what they say is a bit vague due to them being delirious and could be interpreted one way or another, so the character watching over them is left wondering and hoping?

I love the general fever tropes, too, such as measuring temperature with the hand or one sitting at the bed of the other and putting cold cloths on their forehead.

Carrying sick/hurt/exhausted character to bed

Eivor would easily be able to do this if Hytham needs his help, or even if Hytham is just struggling a little and Eivor decides he’s going to be of assistance (whether he asks beforehand or just sweeps him up into his arm.

Hytham may have more trouble with this, depending on the extent of his injuries, but perhaps he surprises Eivor by still being able to do this, or, since Eivor needs his help, he collects his full strength and manages to carry him at least a short way to the bed?

Maybe Eivor has seen Hytham talk with Valka a lot and assumes they’re interested in each other (but it’s just that Assassins are also into mystical stuff) or he thinks Hytham was with Basim and is still hung up on him (perhaps Hytham really used to be, but is ready to move one, or he never was). Perhaps Hytham thinks that Eivor is with Randvi or one of the other love interests in the village, or he heard of some of the flings he had and thinks he’s just not Eivor’s type at all, especially since he can’t be a great fighter anymore with his injury and Eivor seems to be into those.

Either of them could also be convinced the other is just not into men, perhaps because of some conversation they had or overheard where they misunderstood something.

How does the one who think the other doesn’t like them realise they are mistaken?

A & B have to cancel planned date because A's ill/injured. B comforts and makes evening romantic.

Could be either of them! The sick/injured person is probably somewhat annoyed because Eivor is always quite busy, so they’re not sure when they can repeat the date they’re missing out on. To his surprise, his partner shows up, anyway, to make it a nice evening.

This could also be Hytham’s old injury acting up. He worries that Eivor will see him as weak, but Eivor only dislikes it because he doesn’t like to see Hytham suffer.

Body worship focusing on the scars and aftermath of trauma

They both probably have quite a few of scars this could apply to, but maybe there’s also a new scar from an especially traumatic fight that one of them was in?

For Hytham, this could also be the injury that cost him his career as an active assassin.

Character A falls asleep on B's shoulder; B gently moves A to rest on lap instead

So cute for either of them! It’s just a scenario I really like, together with assorted tropes like sitting very still to not disturb the person, gently relocating them so their neck won’t hurt when they wake up, maybe even pulling a blanket over them.

Sleepy Cuddles

Perhaps one of them likes cuddles, but hasn’t really felt like they could mention that to a partner because they were a little embarrassed. Then the other starts cuddling them and it’s just very nice. I could see Hytham being more honest with himself here since he’s not that caught up in the Viking machismo, but perhaps Eivor is also the kind of person to unapologetically physically latch on to someone.

Careful Sex Because One Partner Is Injured/Ill

Whether this is passionate “I’m so happy you survived” sex, or they just can’t wait until the one who is hurt has fully recovered because they want each other that much, or whether it’s a longer injury/illness and they want to figure something out because they don’t want to remain celibate for the whole time – all would be great.

For Hytham, this could also relate to the old injury acting up.

Comfort Sex

What is comfort sex for them? Passionate and desperate? Slow and intimate? I would like to see very emotional smut with these two, in any case, to comfort one of them or each other.

Unplanned pregnancy is badly timed

Mpreg for reasons of A/B/O, Isu magic, some men just can get mpregnant, or whatever reason you want. Most of the time that is covered in the game would probably be a bad time, especially if Eivor is the one pregnant. Generally, when one of them is on a mission, they really don’t need this, either. However, they do still want the kid, so they soldier through with the help of their partner.

Maybe it is badly timed because they’re both still pining like a forest and don’t know if the other wants them, much less a child. While they agonise over this for quite some time, the other is actually happy about the news when they finally get it.

Manwë Súlimo/Ulmo (Ulmo hurt)

We don’t know that many details about the Valar, but what we hear just got me to ship these two a lot. They’re close friends and when Ilúvatar points out to Ulmo some of the changes Melkor has made and their unintended positive side effect, he specifically mentions clouds “[and] in these clouds thou art drawn nearer to Manwë, thy friend, whom thou lovest.” Ulmo finds this convincing and says he and Manwë are now going to make melodies together forever. Also, even after Ulmo starts separating from the other Valar, it’s still said that through Ulmo’s waterways news come to Ulmo which “otherwise would be hidden from Manwë”, which to me indicates that they still seem to be in regular contact. Generally, I love that Manwë comes across as like an elf-esque Zeus-Odin figure and is, like all the Valar, very majestic, whereas Ulmo has the distinction of having a hint of an almost eldritch vibe, to the point that living beings find him kind of scary to look at, and with his voice “deep as the deeps of the ocean”. It’s also interesting that Ulmo eventually withdrew somewhat from the other Valar and a great potential point for a fic to explore, but I’d also be very happy about a fic of the Valar’s first conflicts with Melkor, the shaping of the world, and so on. Regarding Varda, perhaps Manwë and her separated or where never together. For smut, I prefer bottom Ulmo. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Ulmo.

Ulmo getting hurt during the war with Melkor (or other forces if you want them fighting something else) and still pushing on would be great. Manwë is quite impressed with him and more than a little attracted.

How does a wind/air god comfort a water god? I would love for them to do something with their human(ish) forms and touching in the way humans do (maybe they find out that’s one of the great advantages of them), but I would just as much like to see Manwë using his more godly powers to do so.

Ulmo is not going to back down easily and Manwë knows it’s probably necessary, but he is worried for him.

Ulmo doing a dangerous mission on his own (perhaps building/repairing something despite Melkor and his forces trying to stop him) and afterwards collapsing on Manwë (probably not planned) would be great.

Bargaining - Victim Offers/Sacrifices Self to Protect Others

Ulmo knows that Manwë is their leader and he must protect him (at least that is his outward reason – he also loves Manwë), so he offers himself up in his stead. Manwë having to watch as Ulmo is tortured would probably be traumatic for both of them.

Ulmo willingly offering himself up so several of the other Valar or Maiar can get away would also be awesome. I’m sure Manwë would appreciate his bravery.

This could also be more mystical, where it seems to them that one of the Valar will have to sacrifice themselves for some reason or another to protect the Children of Ilúvatar, and it is said that Ulmo really liked them (“Ulmo loves both Elves and Men, and never abandoned them, not even when they lay under the wrath of the Valar.”). Ulmo actually ends up surviving, but Manwë is impressed by his strong will and very much in love.

Manwë (and perhaps Ulmo if he can still fight) exacting revenge on whoever hurt Ulmo would of course also be appreciated.

I also love someone throwing themselves in the way of a arrow/strike/spell/hurled mountain to protect a loved one (I feel like Valar vs. Melkor and his spirits must have been pretty epic back in the day before the earth was fully formed, so the last is a possibility).

Maybe Ulmo also does it to protect other Valar or Maiar, proving to Manwë and the others that despite living away from the others, he still cares for them.

Does Ulmo decide that he has pined enough and he will make his play now, for better or worse? Or is it a spur-of-the-moment decision that surprises him as much as Manwë?

In public implies someone is watching. What do the other Valar think? (I would like for Manwë/Varda to already be over at that point if it happened at all.) Did some of them have an inkling this would happen?

Maybe Ulmo confesses to Manwë that one of the main reasons he doesn’t come to Valinor is because it hurts to see him and Varda together. Manwë hasn’t been with Varda in a while, which Ulmo missed because he was holed up in his underwater palace.

Ulmo thinks Manwë is still with Varda, or knows they have broken up, but thinks Manwë still loves her; but in reality, they have split a while ago and Manwë has moved on and would be ready for someone new. When does Manwë realise this is the reason Ulmo doesn’t make a move?

Maybe Manwë really has no idea at all for how long because Ulmo fainted somewhere travelling the waterways alone and Manwë just finds out because one of his birds randomly sees him, or he spots it from the top of Taniquetil. Manwë is very worried and might demand that Ulmo come to Valinor until he’s recovered.

Character A sees Character B cry for the first time

What makes Ulmo cry? Maybe one of his Maiar or some of the Children of Ilúvatar were killed by Melkor? Maybe Melkor destroyed one of his favourite creations or those of other Valar that he found especially beautiful? Either way, Manwë does not like seeing him cry at all.

Character A says hurtful things in anger and Character B takes them to heart

Perhaps Manwë and Ulmo had a fight at some point (about how to take on Melkor or how to handle something that is in both their supervision (like clouds, storms) or perhaps even just something petty because they were both hurt and angry from the war against Melkor that day) and that is why Ulmo sits in Ulmonan now. Manwë, however, did not really mean to chase him away. Will he try to get Ulmo back?

Character expects to be punished but is unexpectedly comforted instead

Ulmo doesn’t manage to stop an attack from Melkor or his spirits and is overrun. He expects Manwë to be angry, but Manwë is mostly happy Ulmo is still alive.

Character isn't used to being loved and shown tenderness/affection

Ulmo is solitary and never had a mate among the Valar, so perhaps he is not used to this side of affection at all. Manwë is happy to show him.

Hanahaki Disease

I feel like the strange magic quality of Hanahaki Disease would fit in well with the mythological feel of the Silmarillion. Maybe Ulmo started hiding because he knows otherwise the problem would become obvious. How does Manwë find out?

Or does the Hanahaki Disease start spreading to Ulmo's realm? Maybe there’s suddenly algae everywhere and lakes and rivers are filling up with water plants? Does this spur Ulmo to try to do something about it?

I would love this for them. Perhaps Manwë decides to take Ulmo home to better watch his recovery and he will carry him there himself if he has to.

Or Ulmo just cannot walk anymore and Manwë helps him out.

Just a cute scenario that I really enjoy. Is Ulmo used to such casual affection? Or maybe this is way in the beginning when they just came down into the world and they’re both still figuring out this whole ‘having a body’ thing.

Sleepy Cuddles

Just generally very sweet and something I’d enjoy for the both of them. As above, perhaps having bodies is still somewhat new to them and so is the concept of cuddling?

Or this is later, but involves some of the special things their cuddling might lead to. Perhaps the god of air cuddling up to the god of water creates nice white clouds or calms the seas or something? There could even be elven legends about it.

Careful Sex Because One Partner Is Injured/Ill

Whether this is passionate “I’m so happy you survived” sex, or they just can’t wait until Ulmo has fully recovered because they want each other that much, or whether it’s a longer injury/illness and they want to figure something out because they don’t want to remain celibate for the whole time – all would be great.

Comfort Sex

What does comfort sex mean to them? Desperately passionate sex? Very slow, intimate sex? Perhaps because Ulmo is so withdrawn, it’s sometimes easier for Manwë to reach him after he’s softened him with sex, or just through sex.

Literally! They are gods, after all. Perhaps Manwë has some restorative powers, but they have to have sex for it to work. Neither Ulmo nor Manwë are unhappy about this fact, but perhaps they worry the other one isn’t really enjoying it?

A/B/O - First heat after years on suppressants is so intense it's dangerous for A so B helps

Ulmo’s suppressants fail (suppressants here probably mean the magic powers he uses to keep it in check) and because it’s clear the heat is getting out of hand and since Manwë is already around, Manwë offers his help – or at least that is what they tell each other at first. Does it become clear during sex that they also have feelings for each other or do they need a bit longer to figure it out?

Manwë is the king of the Valar and so of course he considers it his duty to help his highest subjects in such delicate matters (but he’s also in love). When do they figure out they want each other?

The Lord of the Rings (J. R. R. Tolkien) – Boromir (Son of Denethor II)/ Aragorn | Estel (hurt Aragorn)

I love everything about this pairing. The tension that their positions and personalities create is just great. They are both warriors of much talent and good leaders, but in the end, Boromir is the one who has to live with his guilt of failing, since I guess Boromir Lives AUs really give the best opportunity for them to have longer plots together. Aragorn’s return to Gondor and the ring quest didn’t exactly go without a hitch, either, though, and he still has to prove that old Strider can actually be a good king. Lots still to unpack there. Aragorn’s relationship with Arwen obviously stumbles into my infidelity DNW, so if they are broken up or never got together in the first place, that’d be great. You can go with a medieval view on same-sex relationships or have them be accepted or even have same-sex marriage be a thing, all works for me. For smut, I prefer bottom Aragorn. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Aragorn.

I love Aragorn being a front-line fighter and I think Boromir also always respected that. He would certainly be impressed if Aragorn powered through a fight or some political discussions following a battle while heavily wounded; and I’m sure he’d be happy to offer some comfort, too.

Can also definitely see this for Aragorn. He will not stop until he has to! Is Boromir with him and fretting about him during the mission, or do they meet up later and Aragorn can collapse into his arms (whether he planned to do that or not)?

Aragorn is a rather reflected person. Did he make a measured decision here, wanting to finally end the pining and put it all on the line because of his near-death experience? Or perhaps this was a spur-of-the-moment decision fuelled by adrenaline? I would love it if Boromir is very happy (if probably surprised), of course.

What about the public who is also around? I don’t think we have a definite answer on how Middle-Earth thinks about homosexuality, but at the very least I would like for this public kiss not to ruin their lives or anything. Or perhaps they could even get married and so this is a joyous thing for the soldiers of Gondor who already like Boromir (if some of those are around to watch)?

Aragorn volunteering to be tortured or nonconned (perhaps even in front of Boromir) to save Boromir and/or their friends would be very interesting.

Especially after the ring debacle, Boromir might feel like it should have been him and that he’s not worth the pain Aragorn experienced for him. Aragorn disagrees.

Perhaps it’s also some magical thing where one needs to sacrifice themself to protect the land. Aragorn knows if he sacrifices himself, Boromir and Faramir can still rule and thinks this is also his duty as a king. Also, he wants to protect the people he loves, of course, which includes Boromir. He improbably survives, but now Boromir knows he was ready to sacrifice himself.

Boromir (and perhaps Aragorn if he can still fight) exacting revenge on whoever hurt Aragorn would of course also be appreciated.

I love this, too, where someone takes a blow or arrow or sword strike for somebody else that they love! Again, Aragorn might feel guilty that the king got hurt in his stead after what he has done; or, if this is at the beginning of their acquaintance, maybe this is one of the things that convinces him Aragorn might not be the worst?

I love characters accidentally revealing their feelings or secrets due to some altered state. Is it a full-on love confession? Maybe they just mumble that they wish the other character were closer/would touch or hug them? Perhaps what they say is a bit vague due to them being delirious and could be interpreted one way or another, so the character watching over them is left wondering and hoping?

I would also love it if Aragorn just told tales from his long past while he’s out of it. Maybe he never meant to share his life as Strider with people now that he’s king, since he feels like he should live up to the station, but Boromir is actually very interested and hopes Aragorn will open up to him even when he gets better.

I love the general fever tropes, too, such as measuring temperature with the hand or Boromir sitting at the edge of Aragorn’s bed and putting cold cloths on his forehead.

Aftermath of Torture - Character trying to hold it together is clearly low-key fraying at the edges

Either Aragorn knows there’s just no time to fall apart or he’s too proud to admit to himself that he needs help (especially if he’s currently king/preparing to become king and feels like he should have the necessary strength to push through). He might feel that especially in front of Boromir, who wasn’t fully convinced that King Aragorn was a good idea, he needs to keep it together. However, Boromir ends up being the one he can lean on.

Aftermath of Torture - Character doesn't tell anyone they were tortured; is found out anyway

If sharing the fact that he was tortured doesn’t lead to any new information (perhaps he was captured by Sauron’s servants or something and everybody knows they sometimes torture captives, anyway), Aragorn might hide the fact altogether. He might not want to worry the Fellowship or, later, his subjects. Boromir finds out and becomes an unexpected support.

This could be combined with the trope above, too, so that Boromir first has to find out what is weighing on Aragorn.

Aftermath of sexual assault attempt

Could perhaps be servants of Sauron, perhaps random people in Gondor, perhaps some bandits if Aragorn is currently going as Strider. Can Aragorn free himself and then runs into Boromir? Or perhaps Boromir is the one who saves him?

I could see Aragorn being secretly quite shaken by this and Boromir eventually noticing. On the other hand, it would also be interesting if Aragorn’s reaction is fairly flat and he admits to Boromir that some of his travels as Strider left him coming in contact with dangerous people (whether it was full on noncon in the past, or also an attempt), so this is not wholly new to him. Boromir wants to protect Aragorn from now on.

Enemy or Past Abusive Lover branded A as their property; B accidentally sees the mark on A's skin

I like the idea that there were some murky parts in Aragorn’s (pretty long) past, such as a time when he was with a dangerous lover (though I’m also happy with him having gotten captured by enemies at some point!). Boromir finding out more about him as they get closer would be great, whether it’s on the road or in Gondor. Perhaps Aragorn was worried Boromir would think him weak (since Boromir is a very consummate warrior), but Boromir does not.

Character A finds Character B fainted and has no idea how long they've been out

Always a beautifully dramatic scenario. I suppose this makes most sense in Gondor, as on the road it would be quickly obvious that Aragorn is missing, but perhaps it could also be during night rest and Aragorn stepped away and collapsed. Either way, in both scenarios Aragorn is so busy it might just catch up with him or was perhaps hiding an illness because more important things were going on. Boromir carrying Aragorn would of course also be a great addition here.

Character hides their illness until they faint and everyone panics

Could be on the road or in Gondor! Perhaps Aragorn thinks that he cannot halt now because more important stuff is happening, but then collapses somewhere right in front of everybody. Boromir going into full steward mode and being the one to outwardly keep calm and carry Aragorn away would be awesome, especially if he does it in front of the whole court in Gondor.

Character usually never complains; mild complaint from them shows they feel really bad

Boromir learns to recognise that if Aragorn mentions something small, it means something serious is going on – because he wouldn’t actually complain about something small.

Boromir becoming Aragorn’s trusted steward and being the only one Aragorn mentions it to when he feels ill (even if he downplays it) would be great. Maybe something more could develop from that trust, too?

I suppose they don’t really have jackets, but a cloak would work just as well!

Carrying sick/hurt/exhausted character to bed

Perhaps Aragorn’s legs have given out, but despite Aragorn being a tall, muscular man, Boromir can still very easily carry him. That probably doesn’t happen to Aragorn very often.

Aragorn insists he can still walk, but Boromir is done watching him struggle and just picks him up.

A & B have to cancel planned date because A's ill/injured. B comforts and makes evening romantic.

Aragorn is disappointed, as being the king does not leave him that much time and Boromir has his duties, too, and he knows it will be difficult to find another opportunity for a date soon. Boromir surprises him by showing up, anyway.

Sleepy Cuddles

Boromir doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who would admit that he likes to cuddle, but maybe he does it, anyway, wordlessly so, and Aragorn appreciates it.

Maybe Aragorn is the one who initiates it and Boromir starts to like cuddling very much when he’s with him.

Character A falls asleep on B's shoulder; B gently moves A to rest on lap instead

I just really love this scenario. If they’re not yet together, maybe Boromir argues he just wanted Aragorn not to wake up with his neck hurting? And that’s not exactly wrong, but maybe he also liked the sight of Aragorn with his head on Boromir’s knee.

If they’re together, maybe Boromir isn’t the most physically affectionate guy, but dares to be a little more forward when Aragorn is asleep. Aragorn wakes up eventually, though.

Careful Sex Because One Partner Is Injured/Ill

Whether this is passionate “I’m so happy you survived” sex, or they just can’t wait until Aragorn has fully recovered because they want each other that much, or whether it’s a longer injury/illness and they want to figure something out because they don’t want to remain celibate for the whole time – all would be great.

Comfort Sex

What does comfort sex mean to them? Desperately passionate sex? Very slow, intimate sex? Perhaps they use sex because it’s easier than talking for comfort, especially if they’re just FWB for now? However, I would also like to see them seek physical comfort within a relationship.

A/B/O - First heat after years on suppressants is so intense it's dangerous for A so B helps

Aragorn’s suppressants fail and because it’s clear the heat is getting out of hand and since Boromir is already around, Boromir offers his help – or at least that is what they tell each other at first. Does it become clear during sex that they also have feelings for each other or do they need a bit longer to figure it out?

Perhaps since Aragorn is the king, Boromir offers that he will assist him as his steward. When do they admit to themselves that it’s more than that?

Unplanned pregnancy is badly timed

Mpreg for all prompts could be Dúnedain biology, A/B/O, some men can just get mpregnant, or any other reason. Pretty much any time during the books would be bad timing. Does Aragorn have to ride into battle pregnant? (If yes, I would like for the unborn baby to escape unscathed.)

Maybe Boromir and Aragorn were doing a frenemies-with-benefits thing when Boromir decided to go for the ring. Boromir stays back to recuperate with elves or humans somewhere. When he joins back, he finds Aragorn is pregnant. The revelation motivates them to spend more time together and get closer.

Perhaps the pregnancy is badly timed because they’re both still pining like a forest and think the other isn’t in love with them. Maybe they consider marriage for lineage reasons, but Aragorn is worried Boromir will feel bound to him against his will and Boromir thinks the same might be true for Aragorn. Can they figure it out?

Pregnancy - Difficult

Aragorn gets unlucky and has a lot of complications or just general pains and aches during the pregnancy (but I wouldn’t want anything to happen to the unborn child, even if there are maybe miscarriage scares). Boromir supports him.

Or the difficulty comes from having to fight the armies of Sauron. Can Boromir already help out or is he not ready for the battlefield yet and still recuperating, but can perhaps support Aragorn in other ways (though he probably would rather be on the battlefield)?

Childbirth

Aragorn and Boromir get stuck without support somewhere in the wilderness and Boromir has to help Aragorn give birth.

However, I’d also like Boromir insisting that he wants to be around for the birth in a normal setting, even if it’s not the tradition for the other parent to be there. He’s Aragorn’s steward, he will protect and help in all things!

Cyberpunk 2077 – Sandayu Oda/Goro Takemura (hurt Takemura)

Takemura was one of my favourite side characters in this game and we didn’t see much of Oda, but I really enjoyed what we got. Though the dignified middle-aged bodyguard in the pretty suit and the cyberninja with the 2004 jrock hairdo and combat gear are quite the stark contrast, their attitudes are plainly very similar. Their backstory is great, too – that at some point Takemura started being a mentor to Oda, probably when it became clear he was destined for a higher position at Arasaka, and that their relationship then developed into a friendship that lasted for a quite a while before the beginning of the game. The push and pull of that friendship against the intense sense of duty these two have was great to watch. Since I don’t like major character death, I’d like both Takemura and Oda to survive (actually possible!). I’d also prefer if Oda were at least 20 when they first start to get to know each other. I prefer bottom Takemura for smut. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Takemura.

BAMF character A is hurt and is still a BAMF; character B provides comfort anyway

Takemura isn’t going to let an injury stop him and Oda is torn between being very impressed (and probably insanely attracted) and somewhat worried.

Maybe it seemed like Takemura was lost for a moment, but then he emerges covered in blood (his own and that of his enemies) and very beaten up, but clearly victorious. Oda patches him up.

Bargaining - Victim Offers/Sacrifices Self to Protect Others

I would love this for Takemura. He can be very convincing and also very insulting when he wants to be and I feel like he could draw attention very successfully. Whether he gets beaten, tortured, humiliated or even nonconned, he does it to protect Oda. I’d be interested in fic that focuses on the scenario itself, or on the aftermath (or both, of course).

Oda feels terrible afterwards, but Takemura does not regret what he did.

The two of them escaping/exacting revenge would be appreciated.

Character insists on completing mission despite injuries

Definitely also very Takemura and I’m sure Oda would agree it’s the right thing to do. However, that doesn’t make it easier to watch Takemura suffer.

Perhaps Takemura is alone on the mission and he finishes it as is expected of him, but when he gets back home he allows himself to crumble in front of Oda (or it just happens against his will).

Takemura is a bodyguard! Not for Oda, of course, but maybe Oda is down or it would have been a deadly hit on him that Takemura manages to turn into just a very painful one when he catches it. Is Oda shocked that Takemura would put it on the line like that for him? He’s just another Arasaka soldier, after all (and maybe, if he was beaten, he feels like he failed).

Or perhaps Takemura protects Arasaka or his daughter with his body and that would of course also be admirable to Oda.

I could see Takemura keeping such information to himself if it doesn’t reveal anything new about their enemies, or only storing it away in a mission report that he knows will just go into the archives. However, Oda finds out.

Takemura probably thinks he should be able to get over the torture, as he’s gotten over all the other traumas in his life. However, it’s eating away at him. Oda eventually notices that he has a problem. Takemura thinks Oda might be disappointed in his weakness, but Oda turns out to be compassionate.

Could also be combined with the prompt above – Oda has to find out what happened to Takemura in the first place to understand why he seems like something is weighing him down.

Perhaps post-game, a delirioius Takemura ends up spilling his insecurities about Arasaka that his time with V brought to the forefront. He thinks Oda will turn away from him, but it turns out Oda does not disagree.

I also like fever-related tropes like Oda putting wet cloth on Takemura’s forehead, taking his temperature with his hand, that kind of thing.

This is just a trope I really love. Perhaps Takemura had to jump into the water or is otherwise wet/cold, or perhaps it’s more of a psychological thing and Oda wants to comfort him while others are watching, so he thinks of this subtle way to do it. After all, he’s only lending him some cover against the cold...

Carrying sick/hurt/exhausted character to bed

I doubt Takemura found himself being carried around very often, so Oda sweeping him off his feet when he can’t walk might be a very interesting experience.

Perhaps Takemura is able to walk, but just barely. Oda decides he does not like to see Takemura struggle and as soon as they don’t have eyes on them anymore, he carries him.

Character is Exhausted From Overwork

Takemura is very dutiful, so this could easily happen to him. Oda, of course, also takes his job very serious, but perhaps he’s a little better at keeping the balance? Or he just has less to do and takes over a little from Takemura to help him out in a rough patch. Alternatively, I’d love him to convince Takemura to take an evening off, give him a backrub, and so on.

I’m sure this would worry Oda a lot and he would hover by Takemura’s side until he knows what is wrong with him. (He could even argue that it makes sense, as Takemura’s an important Arasaka soldier, but his feelings are the real reason.)

As above, but Takemura faints in front of several people. Oda would probably do his best to make people calm down (while panicking on the inside) and make people believe things are not as bad as they look, but then he grabs Takemura and quickly carries him away to get some help.

Oda is around, but he has to stay with the Arasakas to protect them, since one bodyguard is down already. When he finally gets released, he runs straight to Takemura.

Character usually never complains; mild complaint from them shows they feel really bad

Oda knows that if Takemura makes the slightest mention of feeling unwell, it means he’s probably very bad off, as he’d not mention smaller things at all.

Oda becoming the one confidant for Takemura that he trusts with such information would be really sweet.

Buried Alive - Bound & left to die in a box is eventually found and treated back to health by LI

After Arasaka’s spiralling in some of the endings, or even after the endings that are good for Arasaka, Takemura is thrown to the wolves for one internal politics reason or another. This time, however, Oda recognises a pattern and decides to save him. He finds out where Arasaka buried him and digs him out.

Maybe Oda was even among the people who buried Takemura, so Takemura has no hope that he’ll be saved, but Oda is plagued by guilt and quickly realises what he did was not what he wants; or he was only pretending to be loyal to Arasaka in the first place and always wanted to go back and save Takemura.

For a version that is not about leaving Arasaka, maybe Takemura is kidnapped and buried in a box by Militech or another corporate enemy and he figures he is just not going to be found in time. However, Oda moves heaven and earth to find and rescue him.

Whether they’re still with Arasaka or not, I would love to see Oda help Takemura get back to full health or just comfort him.

Character expects to be punished but is unexpectedly comforted instead

Takemura makes a mistake during a fight and ends up getting hurt. He thinks Oda will be disappointed in him, but Oda actually covers for him/wins the fight and helps him out later.

Takemura leaves Arasaka after being fucked over by them again after the ending of the game (I mean, it’s only a matter of time, right?). Oda hunts him down and Takemura expects that Oda wants to take him down, but instead, Oda wants to join him. Maybe Takemura is also wounded on his escape and Oda comforts him there?

Character who never cries finally cries

Oda has never seen Takemura cry, but something pushes him there. Perhaps it’s thinking Oda is dead for some reason, but then Oda shows up again? Perhaps it’s when Arasaka fucks them over again at some point and Takemura realises he’ll have to learn to live without Arasaka or let them kill him? Whatever it is, Oda is there to comfort him.

Character isn't used to being loved and shown tenderness/affection

Takemura is a soldier through and through and he’s probably not getting affection from anyone he works with, nor is he truly loved as much as respected. This changes when his relationship with Oda changes.

Perhaps at first, even when they’re together, they’re still keeping a bit of distance between each other, since they’re not sure which liberties to take with each other yet. However, they soon star to loosen up and Oda gives Takemura affection.

This would be cute! I’m not sure if either of them would admit they like cuddling, but they would probably enjoy it a lot.

Oda is a cuddler and Takemura quickly learns that he enjoys it, especially after a hard day.

Mpreg as result of nonconsensual science experiment

As done by Arasaka. They think Takemura is going to stay loyal, anyway. He does at first, but he’s quite unhappy afterwards, especially if this is after his time with V, which reminded him that there might be other paths. Oda, too, is worried about Takemura. However, the two of them start to feel somewhat parental towards the foetus. Were they already together or do they get together like this?

Oda and Takemura deciding that they don’t want their child to be treated as a science experiment, or Arasaka deciding they want to terminate the pregnancy because the experiment doesn’t interest them anymore or didn’t have the outcome they wanted (perhaps they wanted a special baby and this one is quite normal), prompting Takemura and Oda to become protective of their child - both would be great reasons for them to leave Arasaka together.

Mpregnancy as a result of Arasaka science, A/B/O, or some men just being able to get mpregnant for some reason. If Takemura and Oda are on the run, him getting pregnant would be bad timing. Maybe they go to Night City Legend V (still alive because /handwaving) for protection? Or they join a Nomad clan? Or find some way to make it on their own?

Even if they are with Arasaka, there’s not really a good time for Takemura to be pregnant, as he’s always very busy. Oda helps him out as best he can.

Perhaps Takemura is pregnant by Oda when he’s thrown out during the timeline of the game? Maybe this prompts Oda to actually switch sides? That would be interesting.

Pregnancy - Difficult

Takemura has quite a few complications (though nothing that seriously threatens the unborn child, even if there are scares) and just general aches and pains related to the pregnancy. Oda supports him.

Or the difficulty is that they’re still pining FWB and unsure if the other even loves them, so Takemura has no idea if Oda wants this child and is quite stressed. Eventually, it turns out that Oda is actually very happy.

Oda insists on being around for the birth, even with technology being advanced as it is, and though Takemura says it’s not necessary, he’s quite happy nevertheless.

Perhaps Oda and Takemura get stuck alone when Takemura goes into labour and so Oda has to help him give birth to the child.

Vampyr – Geoffrey McCullum/Sean Hampton (Hurt Sean)

These two don’t meet in-game, but I feel like it’d be really interesting if they did. Geoffrey has probably never met a Skal like Sean before and his new perspective (either because he is a vampire or because Jonathan spared him) might keep him from killing him outright, and Sean could be really good for him, since surely Geoffrey must be affected by what has happened to him recently one way or the other and could use someone kind who is generally ready to listen and help. Besides, someone’s gotta keep the city standing if Jonathan left to America/the castle, and Sean and Geoffrey are both involved in doing just that, in their own ways. That would give them many opportunities to interact. For smut, I prefer bottom Sean. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Sean.

Between Geoffrey and Sean, Geoffrey is for sure the better fighter, but Sean could still body-block for him. If Geoffrey is human, or if he’s a vampire but wounded, Sean could argue that it just made more sense for him to take the hit.

Sean saving someone else would also be nice. Perhaps it’s one of the people in the night shelter, but perhaps it’s also someone Geoffrey cares about, like a rookie Guard of Priwen, and it’s one of the things that first turns Geoffrey’s opinion around on the strange Skal?

Maybe they met before the start of the game and so this is before Sean becomes a Skal. Geoffrey is instantly fascinated by the brave Sad Sain.

Sean knows they have the best chance to escape from their enemies if Geoffrey stays intact, or he just plain cannot bear the thought of someone getting hurt in his stead. Because of this, he offers himself up.

Geoffrey watching Sean be tortured on his behalf would probably be a traumatic experience for the both of them. Perhaps Sean even has to calm him down later and that just angers Geoffrey more? Sean, however, is just happy Geoffrey is fine.

Geoffrey exacting revenge on whoever hurt Sean would of course also be appreciated.

Character who's usually the most grounded one is so sick/hurt that they wake up visibly disoriented

For some definition of grounded, at least. Sean can seem a little odd and air-headed, but he’s always someone others can hold onto. It might be unsettling even for Geoffrey if he’s suddenly so completely out of it.

Everybody else seems to know quite a bit about Sean’s past, but perhaps because of the fact that his secrets kept getting spread around, Sean is very close-lipped about them. However, he’s injured/ill and starts telling Geoffrey things he didn’t mean to share about his past traumas.

Character's Past Trauma Is Revealed Against Their Will

Geoffrey is a suspicious guy who asks around about Sean and finds out the same things Jonathan did. Sean is not happy, but Geoffrey is actually surprisingly compassionate.

Perhaps Geoffrey wasn’t even looking for it, but someone trying to discredit Sean tells him. Geoffrey is not at all convinced that this says anything bad about Sean and mostly angry at the person who told him, since Sean is so obviously not okay with it.

Geoffrey being Geoffrey, I’m sure whoever attacked Sean is not going to have a fun time once Geoffrey finds out/if Geoffrey is the one saving Sean.

If Sean doesn’t have to worry that the person who tortured him is going to grab someone else (maybe they had a specific problem with Sean or wanted to experiment on the special Skal), he might not tell anyone about it. Geoffrey finds out anyway, perhaps from the torturer themselves or through coincidence.

Perhaps Sean is worried that Geoffrey will get himself in trouble with a much stronger enemy and that’s why he keeps quiet, but Geoffrey finds out, anyway (and perhaps finds a way to get at the enemy with a clever strategy?).

Perhaps in combination with the above, but also an option if Geoffrey knows. Perhaps Sean is trying to keep it together and trust on God as usual, but it’s not quite enough this time.

Turns out Sean will still cry for others and Geoffrey wants to comfort him.

Geoffrey is quite into cuddles, but he hasn’t really allowed himself to go for them with his usual hook-ups, which tended to be rough hunter types. He hesitantly tries it on Sean and Sean likes it a lot.

A smaller scenario, but I just really like this kind of thing. Perhaps Geoffrey pretends he just didn’t want to have a vampire’s mouth this close to his neck? But in the end, Sean just looked uncomfortable with his head bent sideways and Geoffrey wanted to make it better.

Whether this is passionate “I’m so happy you survived” sex, or they just can’t wait until Sean has fully recovered because they want each other that much, or whether it’s a longer injury/illness and they want to figure something out because they don’t want to remain celibate for the whole time – all would be great.

Being a Skal, Sean is always somewhat injured (they seem to bruise/bleed easily), so the two of them navigating around Sean’s worse days would also be nice.

I would love to see some slow, sweet sex between the two of them. Perhaps that’s not something Geoffrey is really used to at all? However, he comes to enjoy it and also find it comforting.

Sean’s suppressants fail and because it’s clear the heat is getting out of hand and since Geoffrey is already around and Sean trusts him, Geoffrey offers his help – or at least that is what they tell each other at first. Does it become clear during sex that they also have feelings for each other or do they need a bit longer to figure it out?

Sean hasn’t had his heat in very long and is anxious about it. Geoffrey turns out to be surprisingly helpful in calming him down. He didn’t expect Sean to ask him if he would help, though (yet Geoffrey’s very happy that he does).

Hades – Hermes/Charon (hurt Charon)

Charon is such a mysterious figure, considering we can only ever infer what he actually says in the game, but Hermes talks enough for the two of them, so I think it really balances out. The fact that they have a working relationship, canonically and in mythology, is also really fun and provides great opportunities for the two of them to meet and get to know each other even before Zagreus’s plight becomes something for both of them to work on. I would love to see anything from when they first started to work together, through their long working relationship, or during and after the events of the game.

For smut, I prefer bottom Charon. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Charon. Considering it’s not all that clear what is going on under Charon’s robes, feel free to interpret him to be basically just as human-looking as his brothers are, or make him a little more skeletal, or otherwise lean into the cryptid idea as long as he’s still somewhat humanoid. He can also have any genitalia you’d like.

We know that Charon is quite the fighter from his little competitions with Zagreus, so seeing him clean up whatever enemies he’s facing would probably be both impressive and attractive to Hermes, even though he’s a bit worried about the damage Charon is taking.

Charon won’t be stopped by a few injuries to do what he has been tasked to do. When he’s done, he meets up with his associate and collapses into his arms (though he probably did not plan that part).

Or they are on the mission together and Hermes is impressed by his tenacity?

Perhaps the Titans are back or there is some other enemy that could be dangerous to the gods. He does survive in the end, but Hermes is quite impressed and also still very worried.

The enemies catch Hermes and Charon together. Charon manages to make them focus on him. Hermes watching Charon be tortured, humiliated, and/or nonconned would of course be traumatic for both of them.

Or the enemies drag Charon off and Hermes and him only reunite later, with Hermes worrying what happened to Charon.

Hermes (and perhaps Charon if he can still fight) exacting revenge on whoever hurt Charon would of course also be appreciated.

Who is the public? Some confused shades? Or is it other gods? This could be pretty juicy considering the situation between Olympus and Hades is still a little strained, even after Zagreus patched things up.

Aftermath of Torture - Character doesn't tell anyone they were tortured; is found out anyway

Back to the vague enemies strong enough to take on the gods, like reawakened Titans. Perhaps whoever tortured Charon isn’t known to be a great person, anyway, so Charon sees no point in mentioning it. Hermes finds out, however.

Maybe Charon just doesn’t have the words to even transport this information if we’re saying he really does not make himself 100% understandable to others with his groaning and the situation is hard for him to speak about on top of it, so he just gives up. However, Hermes knows him well enough to get it out of him.

Charon figures as a god he should be able to handle this sort of thing, but in fact he does suffer as a result. Hermes is the one who realises is, since he sees him quite regularly.

Okay, so maybe Charon of all people is not making the most wordy confessions, either, but he could still hold on to Hermes, grab his hand, kiss him, or otherwise make himself clear.

Hermes comes to deliver some souls or letters or just to chat and finds Charon unconscious in his shop or on his boat. Does he fly him back to the House of Hades himself?

Or maybe he manages to wake Charon and together they take on the creature/person that overpowered him?

Perhaps the Nosoi were pointed against him or there are some things that make gods ill, but whatever it is would probably be quite rare. Charon decides to carry on and push through, since he’s very intent on his duties, until one day he collapses. This also has the problematic result of lots of souls suddenly being stranded, so no wonder it causes a panic! Hermes is in the middle and trying to help.

Hermes knows that if Charon makes some mention of the fact that he feels a little bad, it probably means something is really wrong, since he would never actually make mention of something just being a little wrong.

Charon is said to be withdrawn even from those in the Underworld and he’s a scary skeleton man who can’t even really talk, so he probably didn’t get a lot of tenderness/affection (and he doesn’t really invite it). Hermes, however, is not put off by his appearance or demeanour and Charon actually really likes it.

Hermes was said to have had a long list of lovers in mythology and perhaps that’s even true (or at least some of it is), but since he’s gotten closer to Charon, Hermes only has his heart set on him. Charon does not know this, however, and pines away.

People probably figure that Charon cannot cry, considering his face looks a bit skull-like, but turns out he just never did! What finally moves him to do it? Maybe Hermes and him had to hide their relationship all these years and can now finally be open about it after Zagreus reunited the family and that moves him? Maybe he thought Hermes had met final death through a Titan or some other strong enemy, but Hermes returns?

Skeletal Charon is probably not someone that people instinctively want to cuddle. Hermes, however, is not deterred, and so Charon gets to experience cuddles! He actually find he really enjoys it.

Unplanned pregnancy is badly timed

Pregnancy could probably be easily explained by general god-weirdness. Perhaps Charon gets pregnant when Hades and Olympus still don’t talk to each other because while Persephone is back, things haven’t been cleared up yet? That could be very difficult.

The two of them confiding in Zagreus would be interesting, too. Maybe Zagreus now has even more motivation to get his family reunited because Charon and Hermes helped him out, after all, and he wants to return the favour?

Pregnancy - Difficult

Charon still has to do his job while pregnant (the souls can’t just wait around) and that could be pretty tiresome, even for a god, especially if the pregnancy takes a lot out of him, as growing a god-baby might. How does Hermes support Charon?

Childbirth

Does the childbirth happen in a somewhat human fashion? (Well, aside from the whole anal birth, if you want to go for that, but it’s still... close to humans.) Or is it more “stomach splitting open and baby coming out”, as such myths sometimes tell of god births? Whichever way that goes, Charon probably isn’t going to die from it and maybe he didn’t even expect help, but Hermes wants to be around to support him.

Mass Effect: Andromeda – Jaal Ama Darav/Evfra de Tershaav (hurt Evfra)

I always thought these two would make a sweet couple. Jaal is very much the quintessential angara with his emotional honesty, whereas Evfra seems unusually closed-off for his kind. Opposites attract! However, they also have a lot of ambitions and skills in common, both being passionate fighters for the freedom of their people. There’s also this conversation (with timestamp at 1:47) of Jaal praising Evfra to Drack, which just sounds like he may have a crush. Whether it’s set before, during, or after the game, it’s all great. For smut, I prefer bottom Evfra. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Evfra.

If the focus is on the event, I would like to also see them exact revenge and/or escape (even if it’s brief). I’d also love fic about just the aftermath, though.

Does Evfra pretend that it was a strategic move afterwards, or does he reveal his feelings in a moment of weakness?

Or is it Jaal who can’t hide his feelings anymore after they escape?

I love this trope a lot. Evfra body-blocking a shot or blow for Jaal would be sweet, especially since technically Evfra is the higher-value target, but for one Evfra doesn’t let his soldiers get hurt if he can help it, and for another, he does have feelings for Jaal.

Maybe Evfra also does this for civilians (angara or even Nexus aliens?) or family or friends of Jaal’s (including the Pathfinder and crew as options). This would probably impress Jaal a lot, too.

Character's Past Trauma Is Revealed Against Their Will

This could be an old acquaintance with a very graphic description of what happened to his family and how broken Evfra was afterwards. However, you can also give him other trauma – perhaps he was captured and tortured by kett while still a small guerrilla leader on Voeld, or he was raped by somebody (and perhaps meets them again or hears of them?), or was almost killed in a very bloody attack while many of his fellow soldiers died (maybe this is where he realised the current resistances weren't going to do it and decided to form his own?), or whatever else you can think of. Evfra does not want people to know, but now Jaal does, and to Evfra’s surprise he turns out very helpful.

Evfra has visible scars on his face and I’m sure there are more all over his body. Evfra doesn’t really mind he’s not handsome anymore, but Jaal actually thinks he is, though he does worry how Evfra collected all of them.

Jaal can’t stop talking about the Pathfinder, him and Peebee are flirting, and generally Jaal is not shy about giving people compliments. One or several of these might have led to a misunderstanding of Evfra thinking Jaal is in love with somebody else. It’s probably better that way, he shouldn’t be in love with one of his soldiers, and yet, well. How does Jaal eventually realise the misunderstanding?

I imagine that could only happen if Evfra was absolutely charged with adrenaline and had possibly been hit in the head. However, he is still angara, so sometimes his emotions get the better of him. Who is the “public” here? The Pathfinder crew? Resistance soldiers? Other angara or Nexus people we know? What is their reaction?

If there’s no new intel to be gained from the fact that he was tortured, Evfra might just keep quiet about it altogether, worried that such information would cause concern among his people (and also, as usual, just not ready to share much of his private life). However, Jaal eventually realises what happened.

The kett don’t seem to go for that, but perhaps Nexus exiles or Kadara angara attack Evfra, or it’s even someone on Aya who he figured was trustworthy. He manages to get away and runs straight into Jaal. Does Jaal immediately realise what happened?

Or Jaal interrupts the ongoing situation and helps save Evfra and later makes sure that Evfra has someone to talk to.

Character is Exhausted From Overwork

Evfra seems to do nothing but work, so this could easily happen. Maybe Jaal can convince him to take an evening off, give him a backrub, have a drink, all those nice things?

Evfra is very collected, but something eventually pushes him over the edge. Is it thinking that Jaal has died (and Jaal then coming back)? Perhaps he finds definitive proof that his family was changed into kett? Maybe it’s just a number of things that just overwhelm him on a bad day and he thinks he’s alone, but Jaal catches him and comforts him.

I very much would love for Jaal to just sweep Evfra up into his arms when Evfra’s legs don’t carry him anymore. Evfra is probably not used to that sort of thing.

Perhaps it’s badly timed because they’re FWB and Evfra thinks Jaal is not really interested in him for more. However, after a lot of anxiety and pining, it turns out Jaal is very happy about the baby and wants more from Evfra, too.

Pregnancy - Difficult

Is it difficult physically, since Evfra is so busy or maybe just because he got unlucky with complications (I'd like the unborn child to be alright, though)? Or emotionally, because Evfra has lost so much family before? Either way, it would be great if Jaal supported him.

I’m sure with how much angara love family, Jaal’s family would be all over a pregnant Evfra. He’s fine with it, it’s the angaran way, but Jaal knows he needs a bit more breathing room than the average angara and manages to extract him from time to time when they visit Havarl so they can spend some time relaxing alone.

Childbirth

Is it usual for the partner to be there during the birth? I’m sure Jaal would want to be whether it’s the tradition or not.

Maybe Evfra goes into labour when the two of them are alone and cut off from outside assistance, so Jaal has to help Evfra deliver the baby.

Supernatural – Dean Winchester/Benny Lafitte (Benny hurt)

I loved the loyalty and friendship between Benny and Dean and I wish we had seen more of him on the show and that Dean and him would have been allowed to interact more above ground (or that we would have gotten more glimpses of them in Purgatory). Whenever they hung around each other, it was clear they made a great team. Taking it a step further into romantic territory would be pretty easy! For smut, I prefer bottom Benny. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Benny.

I’m really not very attached to any of the overarching plots past season five – I don’t dislike them, but if a story you’re writing doesn’t fit into what is going on in the larger plot, don’t worry about it. Sam and Dean could just be driving around dealing with one-episode ghosts and stuff like that, God and the angels don’t have to be involved.

A rescues B from the underworld or afterlife

I so want this for a Benny who went to save Sam and considering that during the following seasons they found about 800 backdoors into Purgatory, it shouldn’t be impossible. Now that Sam knows he isn’t a bad guy, there’s also no reason not to do it! However, Benny seemed kind of convinced he might not make it in the world topside – he’d lost all support, after all. (Incidentally, if you wanted to throw in Dean getting Benny back in contact with his great-granddaughter, I would also love that.)

Were they in a FWB thing (with mutual pining)? How does that change things? Maybe Dean is ready to confess when he pulls Benny out the second time and that’s what gives Benny the energy to try this again?

Aftermath of Temporary Character Death

What happens after Benny comes back from his second stint in Purgatory? Spontaneous passionate sex? Kissing? Love confession? Or perhaps it’s not quite so romantic since Benny went through a lot in Purgatory (in canon, the monsters apparently hunted him for his connection to Dean) and is quite harrowed now. Being back with Dean should make it better, though!

Dean showing Benny that he’s not expendable to him and that he appreciates what Benny did to help Sam would be nice.

Benny is obviously a real badass and has proven so both in Purgatory and outside. Dean patching him up after a fight or offering a blood bag while low-key admiring how good Benny is at this would be great.

Maybe Benny is kind of confused that Dean is showing him comfort because he’s a vampire – he can mend with some blood, no damage left. Dean thinks that just because you can heal easily, it doesn’t meant that getting beaten to a pulp is fun.

Would love this for a shared mission/case they’re on. Maybe Dean wants to push on by himself, but Benny is not going to let that happen and stays by his side to help.

Would love that for Benny. He seems pretty laid-back, but pushed to his breaking point, he ends up kissing Dean. Is it a decision he deliberates, wanting to know an answer if his pining might lead to more? Or is it a spur-of-the-moment thing that ends up surprising himself as much as Dean? Would love for Dean to be into it, of course.

Feel free to go as small or big as you want here. It might be that an episode of the week monster just turned out unexpectedly tough, or it’s a fight against strong angels/demons, or maybe even after they beat one of the season big bads? (Maybe with Benny in the mix, it also goes better than in the show? Dean might never have to get the Mark of Cain, for example.)

What is public in this case? If they’re just random strangers the two of them saved who don’t even know that Benny is a vampire, they might find it cute. Castiel knows Benny, so maybe he has opinion on it? If it’s Sam, has he started to like Benny by that point? Does someone almost stab Benny because they thought he was going for Dean’s throat (including possibly Dean)?

Benny catching a blow or bullet for Dean would be great. He might argue that as a vampire, he can take more punishment, so it makes sense – but maybe it was the kind of attack that could have killed a vampire, too?

Benny has already canonically almost done the first (he let Dean kill him to get Sam), so maybe Dean is not surprised that Benny offers himself up as sacrifice again when they’re both captured, or it comes down to which one of them will be captured, but he doesn’t like it. Benny is good at keeping the attention of the villains, though. Feel free to include anything from torture to even the villains nonconning Benny here if you want.

Considering the sort of situations they get in, this could also be a situation where Benny offers himself up as a sacrifice to a demon/angel/whatever to protect Dean or one of his loved ones. He ends up not dying somehow, but Dean now knows Benny would have died for him.

If they’re captured together, perhaps Dean and Benny even discuss beforehand that Benny is going to be the one doing the antagonising while Dean looks for a way out. After all, as a vampire, he can take a lot more punishment. Watching it is not easy for Dean, however.

Dean (and perhaps Benny if he can still fight) exacting revenge on whoever hurt Benny would of course also be appreciated.

I love characters accidentally revealing their feelings or secrets due to some altered state. Is it a full-on love confession? Maybe they just mumble that they wish the other character were closer/would touch or hug them? Perhaps what they say is a bit vague due to them being delirious and could be interpreted one way or another, so the character watching over them is left wondering and hoping?

Perhaps what Benny is telling Dean is also something about his time with the Old Man or his life as a human or in Purgatory. In the spirit of the exchange, maybe it’s some trauma that he’s kept shut up so far and didn’t mean to share? (Since Benny might have lived during that time: I’d rather not have relating to WWII here.)

We have seen Benny be completely obliterated on the show and still keep it mostly together, so he really must have taken some damage for this to have happened. Dean being very worried and trying to force blood down his throat while Benny is murmuring would be great. Or perhaps Benny was affected by some creature that confuses its victims or alters their mental state?

Benny has spent a lot of time down in Purgatory. Having someone who treats him like a human being instead of another participant in the endless monster gladiator fight down there would probably be very nice for him.

It hurts, but Benny is a realistic guy and doesn’t want to ruin their friendship over something like this. How does the misunderstanding get cleared up?

This is just a gesture I really love to see/read about. Yeah, a vampire could probably freeze and not have permanent damage, but it doesn’t feel nice, so Dean helps out, anyway. Or maybe it’s not really about temperature, but a sort of protective gesture that Benny ends up finding unexpectedly touching.

Benny has been through hell and back, literally, so he doesn’t think that whatever he has gone through with the torture should logically get to him – but it does. Eventually, he can’t hide it anymore.

Benny figures that Dean has gotten way worse in hell, so complaining to him, or even telling him about it if Dean doesn’t know (perhaps Benny was tortured in Purgatory when he went back the second time?) just doesn’t seem right. However, Dean eventually finds out about the torture and/or how badly it is affecting Benny and is supportive.

Aftermath of sexual assault attempt

Perhaps a stronger vampire or a demon or some other sort of monster tries to force itself on Benny. Benny fights them off, or Dean helps. How do they deal with it afterwards?

I always thought the relationship between Benny and the Old Man was a little strange and we know he had a cult leader thing going on. Perhaps Benny used to sleep with him (however consensual that really was, considering the power dynamic) before running away with Andrea. When he returns, the Old Man tries to overpower him. Either Benny kills him or Dean helps, but either way Benny has to deal with it afterwards and Dean helps.

Whatever the attempt is, it might also be interesting if Benny very much under-reacted to it and Dean finds out that this sort of thing was actually rather common in Purgatory (sex-focused monsters like succubi and incubi etc. exist in the SPN universe, after all, as well as bad people who just happen to also be monsters; it would also be fine to include full noncon in Benny’s backstory here if he couldn’t always fight them off). It was just that people wanted other things from the human and the angel, so it never happened to Dean and Castiel (and by extension Benny as long as he was with them).

Could definitely see this be a thing with Benny. Dean knows something bad is up when Benny feels the need to talk about it, even if he undersells it, because if it really was just a small thing, Benny wouldn’t be talking about it at all.

Something I could definitely see the Old Man doing, considering how possessive he seemed to be of Benny. Maybe he figured out a way to brand vampires permanently.

Benny is a pretty burly dude, so he’s likely not used to being carried around (except maybe where ‘carried around’ includes ‘being thrown around by monsters’). However, Dean is strong, too, and so he might be able to carry Benny to bed if Benny had collapsed.

Maybe Benny insists that he can definitely walk, but it’s just not happening, and so an impatient (and very worried) Dean grabs him and simply carries him away.

A & B have to cancel planned date because A's ill/injured. B comforts and makes evening romantic.

Benny is sad that he had to cancel the date because it’s not like Dean, who is constantly up in some cosmic problem or another, has a lot of time. However, Dean surprises him by making it a nice date at home.

Sleepy Cuddles

I doubt either of these dudes would admit they like to cuddle. They might still end up doing it, anyway.

Dean showing physical affection this way to Benny after some bad experience or injury would be great. Maybe they don’t really talk much (we know that has always been an issue with Winchesters & friends), but Benny still knows Dean cares through this.

Pretty self-explanatory prompt that I love a lot. Perhaps Dean later pretends he only did it because it’s weird to have a vampire so close to your jugular? That definitely wasn’t the only reason, though.

Careful Sex Because One Partner Is Injured/Ill

Whether this is passionate “I’m so happy you survived” sex, or they just can’t wait until Benny has fully recovered because they want each other that much, or whether it’s a longer injury/illness and they want to figure something out because they don’t want to remain celibate for the whole time – all would be great.

Comfort Sex

What does comfort sex mean to them? Maybe it’s passionate, wild sex where they just get to let go with each other? Maybe it just means sex in a bed in a safe room where they don’t constantly have to look over their shoulder, unlike in Purgatory? Or maybe it is very intimate, gentle sex that expresses some things they might find it difficult to talk about.

I would also be here for comfort sex following Benny having an injury. He’s still recuperating, so they have to be careful, and while they like the rough sex they usually have, they find out that this is nice, too.

Black Panther – T'Challa/M'Baku (M'Baku hurt)

This pairing already has so many of my favourite tropes, what with T’Challa sparing M’Baku knowing that he is needed by his tribe, M’Baku wanting T’Challa out of the way but then actually saving him, and of course that scene in the end of the movie where he shows up with reinforcements after saying he wouldn’t. Just a lot of good stuff and I would love to see how their relationship develops from here. For smut, I prefer bottom M’Baku. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant M’Baku.

BAMF character A is hurt and is still a BAMF; character B provides comfort anyway

This seems tailor-made for M’Baku, who is not going to let an injury or the aftermath of torture or an illness or whatever other flavour of hurt you’d like stop him from fighting if it’s necessary (or even if he just has something to prove). T’Challa makes him sit down afterwards, but is probably awed by M’Baku’s tenacity even while it worried him a little bit.

M’Baku and T’Challa doing superhero work together or protecting Wakanda or helping out in the surrounding countries would all be perfect opportunities for M’Baku to push through an important mission even while heavily injured and proving himself once more as the badass he is. T’Challa helps to get him patched up afterwards.

I just love people body-blocking for someone they care about, whether it be catching a hit or a bullet. If this is earlier into their relationship, maybe T’Challa is confused (and touched) that M’Baku even cares?

If M’Baku hasn’t yet admitted that he likes T’Challa (to T’Challa or potentially also to himself), perhaps he pretends he only did this because it’s his duty to protect the king’s life. Does T’Challa eventually see through it?

Considering this is a superhero franchise and superheroes protect the innocent, M’Baku protecting civilians or one of the other characters from Wakanda, like Shuri (perhaps they got wounded?), while T’Challa beats up the bad guy or similar tag-team situations like that where M’Baku acts as a shield to others would also be really cool.

Maybe whatever villain they are facing just wants one person to torture and M’Baku immediately volunteers before anyone else/T’Challa can.

I’d also be here for M’Baku straight-up offering to sacrifice his life for superhero-y plot reason, but then he ends up surviving through some stroke of luck.

As above, M’Baku staunchly pretending to T’Challa or himself or both of them that he’s most definitely only dutifully protecting the king would be interesting. Does T’Challa figure out it’s more?

If they were perhaps already casually sleeping together but still pining, maybe this is where T’Challa realises the extent of M’Baku’s feelings for him?

T’Challa (and perhaps M’Baku, if he can still fight) exacting revenge on whoever hurt T’Challa would of course also be appreciated.

Or does she end up accidentally spilling his secret? (I think the relationship between these two could be quite fun to explore in the context of T’Challa/M’Baku, considering M’Baku was so dismissive of Shuri at first.)

I love this for them and they likely get in so many fights that there is a good chance of this happening. Just an explosion of emotion caused by a rush of adrenaline – whether they hadn’t been together yet at all, or whether they were pining FWB. How does T’Challa react? I’d like him to be happily surprised, of course. And what about M’Baku? Did he decide to throw caution overboard and did it deliberately, or was it a split-second decision and he’s just as surprised as T’Challa when they part? In public also seems to indicate there’s an audience, so who is it and do they have something to say about it?

M’Baku seems like exactly the sort of man who would simply brush off the idea that torture has affected him, or is too proud to share that fact with others, or just considers it the sort of thing he needs to be able to handle by himself. Perhaps he really did manage to keep it under a lid for a while, too, but slowly the memories start creeping up on him.

M’Baku freezing during a fight or some other important moment because it triggered a memory and then being angry at himself and perhaps convinced T’Challa will be, too, whereas T’Challa is just worried.

Aftermath of Torture - Character doesn't tell anyone they were tortured; is found out anyway

If the torture was not something that, when found out, would yield new information (they already know this villain is a heartless sadist etc.), I could see M’Baku just electing not to say anything at all. How does T’Challa find out and how does he offer his help?

Could definitely be M’Baku! Maybe T’Challa has quickly learned that when M’Baku mentions a small hurt, it usually means that something serious is going on – because he would never actually let people know if there was something just slightly wrong with him.

It would also be cute if T’Challa becomes like the only person M’Baku ever lets these things now (and of course it’s very rarely even then) because T’Challa is the only one with whom M’Baku feels comfortable to let down his guard.

Character expects to be punished but is unexpectedly comforted instead

M’Baku is overwhelmed by an enemy and brutally beaten down. He thinks this is a failure and expects to be dealt with accordingly. However, if someone can take down M’Baku, they must be pretty damn strong and T’Challa is just happy to see M’Baku is alive.

Character who never cries finally cries

What finally pushes M’Baku over the edge? Is he so distraught that he accepts comfort or is he embarrassed to be crying?

I’d also love for this to happen at the unsnappenig of T’Challa. Maybe M’Baku held it back for this long (even if they were already in an established relationship), but when T’Challa returns, he’s overwhelmed.

The obvious choice here is Nakia, but perhaps there is someone else, within Wakanda or among the Avengers/their allies that M’Baku figures T’Challa is interested in. How does M’Baku eventually find out he’s wrong?

M’Baku still does his duties, but withdraws back to the Jabari lands because it’s painful being around T’Challa while being convinced he loves someone else. T’Challa is confused – he thought their relationship was progressing nicely! How does he figure out the reason?

M’Baku and T’Challa are both busy people, so M’Baku is probably pretty put out that he had to cancel one of the few dates they get. T’Challa shows up, anyway, and shows M’Baku it can still be a nice evening.

Maybe M’Baku doesn’t really like being weak in front of people he dates, which is why he shuts himself up at his place when he’s sick/wounded, but T’Challa gets let in by his guards by virtue of being the king and M’Baku learns that T’Challa doesn’t seem to mind his weakness at all.

Carrying sick/hurt/exhausted character to bed

M’Baku is a pretty gigantic guy, so I doubt he’s used to being carried around. However, T’Challa is quite strong and could easily do this, especially post-herb. Perhaps M’Baku is charmed/impressed by his strength against his will?

I also like the thing where a stubborn/proud character insists they can definitely continue walking and then fails to do just that, so their love interest, who is tired of the arguments, just picks them up.

Sleepy Cuddles

Neither of them seems like they would admit that they like cuddling, but somehow they keep waking up/falling asleep in each other’s arms, anyway...

Or, especially if they’re just FWB or newly together, they have avoided this so far, but then they end up doing it once (for a hurt/comfort-y reason, perhaps, as that would make a lot of sense for this exchange) and it’s just really nice.

It would be kind of cool if one of them didn’t admit they want more touch, but the other was completely unapologetic about enjoying cuddling (T’Challa seems a little softer, but M’Baku also has confidence, so I can definitely see it from either of them).

For a pining FWB situation, T’Challa sitting with bated breath as M’Baku sleeps on his shoulder because he doesn’t want to disturb and wake him, and then daring to move him to his lap when M’Baku starts sliding off and being happy when M’Baku gets comfortable there after waking for a moment?

However, I could also see this being passionate, bed-breaking sex (unless M’Baku is injured/ill and needs to take it slow, of course).

Their first time after the unsnapping would be awesome, too.

A/B/O - First heat after years on suppressants is so intense it's dangerous for A so B helps

M’Baku’s suppressants fail and because it’s clear the heat is getting out of hand and since T’Challa is already around, T'Challa offers his help – or at least that is what they tell each other at first. Does it become clear during sex that they also have feelings for each other or do they need a bit longer to figure it out?

Perhaps M’Baku knows he has to have a break in his suppressant schedule and they arrange for T’Challa to help since M’Baku is an important tribe leader himself and it would be best if the king watched over him in such a vulnerable moment. Except, of course, they are both pining.

I would also like to see them both in a relationship already. Perhaps they eventually planned to have M’Baku drop the suppressants, but they’re always doing hero stuff and politics and just didn’t have the time (and perhaps M’Baku was secretly nervous because it’s been ages since he’s been with someone during his heat) – until M’Baku’s suppressants fail and so the choice is made for them. Maybe they’re even a little happy (unless it happened at a really bad time)?

Unplanned pregnancy is badly timed

However M’Baku gets pregnant (Wakandan science, special Jabari trait, A/B/O, some men just can get pregnant, etc.), it turns out it happens at a very unfortunate time – maybe they find out in the middle of a mission they can’t stop or while fighting another alien/magic force that’s trying to take down the entire world. However, it could also be that they have not yet admitted their feelings to each other and so M’Baku is very worried that he’s carrying Wakanda’s heir and T’Challa doesn’t even want to be his boyfriend (but it turns out T’Challa does!).

For maximum awful timing, maybe M’Baku is pregnant when T’Challa gets snapped or finds out shortly afterwards. The reunion would be awesome to see (plus T'Challa meeting his child).

Pregnancy - Difficult

Maybe M’Baku has an unexpectedly hard time with the pregnancy and hits a great number of the possible complications (for all these prompts, I would want nothing serious to happen to the unborn child, though). T’Challa being a supportive presence would be awesome. I’m always here for pregnancy fluff (bump touching, bringing weird foods, awkward but happy sex).

The circumstances of the pregnancy could also be difficult – perhaps M’Baku gets kidnapped or there is another great threat to Wakanda/the Jabari tribe that he’s forced to respond to as well.

Childbirth

M’Baku is a warrior and probably tries to be seen toughing it out during the childbirth, too. T’Challa is still there to give support.

M’Baku makes a joke about having (vegetarian!) kids in the movie – perhaps he really does have them, but was widowed/the relationship broke apart. Either way, it’s not his first time giving birth, but it’s T’Challa's first time watching one of his lovers have a child. M’Baku calming T’Challa down during the process would be sweet. Or perhaps something does go wrong (though nothing that kills or seriously harms the child, please) and then T’Challa has to be the one giving support?

M’Baku goes into labour at a very inopportune time when it’s only him and T’Challa. T’Challa ends up helping him deliver the baby.

Star Wars: The Old Republic – Male Sith Inquisitor/Cytharat (hurt Cytharat) & Male Sith Warrior/Cytharat (hurt Cytharat) & Male Imperial Agent | Cipher Nine/Cytharat (hurt Cytharat) & Male Bounty Hunter/Cytharat (hurt Cytharat)

I love Cytharat! I’m very much into the noble, polite, upstanding kind of Sith and his romance was very cute – but way too short. Please fix it for me! I would love to see Cytharat’s and the Imperial MC’s relationship develop beyond the kiss that they had in game and generally also learn more about who Cytharat is aside from a Lord who got disgraced by association with his master (or perhaps he actually did do a lot more than that for Darth Malgus’s rebellion, either out of loyalty or because he believed in his cause? It’s never made quite clear, which is interesting). I would also love for him to find a place in the Eternal Throne part of the timeline and beyond. For smut, I prefer bottom Cytharat. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Cytharat.

If your story is set after “Mission to Nathema”, feel free to keep the Eternal Fleet around if you want to or find some other way to keep the Imperial MC in the race between the factions. The Imperial MC being forced to align with the Sith or Republic again is definitely also very interesting (and I don’t have a preference for who he chooses), but I similarly enjoy him being able to lead a third power. You can make the Imperial MC any species you can somehow make fit with their respective backstory. Personality-wise, the only thing I wouldn’t really enjoy is a crazy axe murderer type DS Sith – I prefer pragmatic or manipulative evil. However, I’m also totally fine with him being as Light Side as you want, mix-and-matching choices, or deliberately going Grey, especially when it’s set later in the story and he realises there may be a chance for him to carve his own path.

I would have loved to have seen more of Cytharat fighting. I bet the Imperial MC would be very impressed seeing him be a certified BAMF, even or especially if he gets/is hurt while doing it. Though Cytharat is also very self-reliant as always, the Imperial MC decides to give some comfort.

This could also be the Imperial MC visiting Cytharat after Makeb when he’s recovering and giving him some comfort. Cytharat is surprised, but not unhappy (especially since it means that they might continue from what happened on Makeb).

Character insists on completing mission despite injuries

Cytharat already showed himself to be willing to die for a mission when we first meet him, so I think he would want to carry out his duties whatever happened.

If he’s fighting alongside the Imperial MC, is the Imperial MC impressed by his consistent tenacity? If he only meets up with him after the mission, is the Imperial MC shocked (but attracted to) how hard Cytharat fought and still didn’t give up?

I think Cytharat can be a little cheeky and quite bold sometimes, especially when he’s absolutely battered. That grin and line he gave the Imperial MC when he was bleeding out over the floor on Makeb was great. I would love a scene where he’s the one initiating the kiss with the Imperial MC this time. Perhaps they hadn’t had time to talk about their relationship yet after they met again and is this Cytharat taking a calculated risk? Or is he almost as surprised as the Imperial MC that he did this? I would be delighted if the Imperial MC was very happy about it, of course.

Who is the public in this case? Imperial soldiers? Other Sith? The Alliance? How do they react?

I could very much see this for Cytharat. First of all, he might see it as his duty: the Imperial MC is by all accounts much more important than him. On the other hand, it’s probably also that he has feelings for him, whether the Imperial MC knows this or not.

Cytharat getting tortured or nonconned so the Imperial MC won’t be, perhaps even with the Imperial MC watching.

This could also be a somewhat more mystical thing where the Force or some ancient alien thing needs a sacrifice and Cytharat is the one who goes to do it. He improbably survives, but now the Imperial MC knows what Cytharat was willing to do for him.

The Imperial MC (and perhaps Cytharat if he can still fight) exacting revenge on whoever hurt Cytharat would of course also be appreciated.

I also love people throwing themselves in front of another to take a hit or a bullet. The Imperial MC is pretty durable, but perhaps he was wounded himself or it was a devastating blow of some kind? In the latter case, it would probably mess Cytharat up pretty bad, too.

Cytharat protecting some civilians or friends of the Imperial MC would also be nice. He always seemed like one of the more honourable Sith and concerned about the freedom fighters on Makeb. An Imperial MC who turned lighter through the Alliance might very much appreciate this as well, but even a very sithy Sith probably wants his friends protected.

I love characters accidentally revealing their feelings or secrets due to some altered state. Is it a full-on love confession? Maybe they just mumble that they wish the other character were closer/would touch or hug them? Perhaps what they say is a bit vague due to them being delirious and could be interpreted one way or another, so the character watching over them is left wondering and hoping?

I’d also be interested in Cytharat revealing something about his involvement with Darth Malgus. Does he perhaps confess to the Imperial MC that he was not just being dutiful to his master, but tempted to join Darth Malgus’s cause? Afterwards, he’s mortified, but maybe the Imperial MC is very forgiving because he’s at this point a double agent, or feels like there should be a third way.

Aftermath of Torture - Character trying to hold it together is clearly low-key fraying at the edges

The Sith are not exactly known for their excellent trauma care and compassion, so I’m sure Cytharat thinks he has to deal with it all himself – and within the normal Sith society, he’s not even wrong. He expects the Imperial MC might be angry with him for starting to fall apart and tries to hide it, but it turns out the Imperial MC is happy to comfort and help him.

Aftermath of Torture - Character doesn't tell anyone they were tortured; is found out anyway

If the torture is not a point of strategic importance and just random cruelty or an attempt to get intel out of him he obviously didn’t tell, perhaps Cytharat doesn’t even mention it. The Imperial MC surprises him by being interested and compassionate when he finds out.

Could also be combined with the prompt above, so that the Imperial MC at first does not understand why Cytharat is starting to fall apart and then finds out.

Aftermath of sexual assault attempt

Could be random thugs, Zakuulians, perhaps even Republic soldiers, or other Sith. Does Cytharat free himself or does the Imperial MC actually save him/help saving him?

If Cytharat had to be saved, he might feel guilty that he was not strong enough, especially considering that’s something Sith are very insistent on. The Imperial MC makes it clear he does not respect him less.

Character expects to be punished but is unexpectedly comforted instead

Could be combined with prompts where Cytharat was tortured, or there was a sexual assault attempt he couldn’t fend off by himself, or there could have been an attack on a base he was defending that he didn’t manage to stop by himself and the Imperial MC finds him left for dead. Cytharat thinks the Imperial MC is going to deal with him the way Sith/Imperials often do, but the Imperial MC is mostly worried about Cytharat.

Character isn't used to being loved and shown tenderness/affection

The Sith are not big on either of these things and Cytharat is a Red Sith, so he probably has been raised in the Sith mindset from the very start. The Imperial MC getting him used to experiencing these things would be nice.

Character usually never complains; mild complaint from them shows they feel really bad

The Imperial MC knows that if Cytharat makes any mention of something bothering him, it must be very dire because Cytharat would never actually speak up for something small.

Perhaps Cytharat is used to not saying anything because that’s the Sith way, but with the Imperial MC, he starts to feel so comfortable and secure that he will, if rarely, say something if he feels really bad.

Character who never cries finally cries

Perhaps Cytharat and the Imperial MC where together before the Imperial MC was frozen and this is when he is woken up and they meet again for the first time - just Cytharat crying in relief?

I could also see Cytharat thinking on some mission or another that the Imperial MC is dead for good and crying and then the Imperial MC shows up once more.

Carrying sick/hurt/exhausted character to bed

Cytharat is valiantly trying to carry himself to bed, but his legs just won’t work with him anymore. The Imperial MC surprises him by simply sweeping him up in his arms.

Cytharat can walk, but is very visibly struggling. The Imperial MC picks him up, despite Cytharat’s protests that he could technically walk himself.

A & B have to cancel planned date because A's ill/injured. B comforts and makes evening romantic.

Cytharat is very apologetic (and probably disappointed) because the Imperial MC is a busy man and he knows that it won’t be so easy to make time for another date. However, the Imperial MC shows up where Cytharat is recuperating.

Sleepy Cuddles

Another thing most Sith probably don’t do, but perhaps Cytharat has always secretly liked cuddling, though he didn’t do it much? Turns out the Imperial MC really enjoys it and that is very nice for Cytharat.

Cytharat hasn’t really considered cuddling much before, but the Imperial MC is unapologetically into it and Cytharat finds out he thinks cuddling is very nice, especially when he’s in need of some comforting.

Character A falls asleep on B's shoulder; B gently moves A to rest on lap instead

Cytharat is so proper he probably would be quite embarrassed that he fell asleep on the Imperial MC! Except, it turns out, the Imperial MC does not mind very much at all.

Careful Sex Because One Partner Is Injured/Ill

Whether this is passionate “I’m so happy you survived” sex, or they just can’t wait until Cytharat has fully recovered because they want each other that much, or whether it’s a longer injury/illness and they want to figure something out because they don’t want to remain celibate for the whole time – all would be great.

I would also love this for sex right after Makeb, with the Imperial MC visiting him where he is recuperating. Maybe they just cannot keep their hands off each other for long enough that Cytharat is actually fully healed.

Comfort Sex

What does comfort sex mean to these two? Maybe it is very passionate, desperate sex (especially in a situation where they’re sort of reaffirming that one/both of them are still alive)? Or it could be very gentle, slow sex (in that case, maybe they’re usually rougher and find out through this that they like it soft as well)?

A/B/O - First heat after years on suppressants is so intense it's dangerous for A so B helps

Cytharat’s suppressants fail and because it’s clear the heat is getting out of hand and since the Imperial MC is already around, the Imperial MC offers his help – or at least that is what they tell each other at first. Does it become clear during sex that they also have feelings for each other or do they need a bit longer to figure it out?

Perhaps the Imperial MC offers his help as Cytharat’s superior and Cytharat is grateful to accept. Do they realise that it’s more than just a convenient arrangement for both of them? Maybe the Imperial MC even goes in with the goal of impressing Cytharat and hoping to claim him?

Perhaps among Sith, an omega in heat would be game for anyone to capture, so the Imperial MC asks Cytharat if he’d prefer him to do it (they have kissed, after all). Cytharat very much does.

Unplanned pregnancy is badly timed

Mpreg for reasons of A/B/O, Red Sith biology, some men can just get pregnant, or whatever else you like. Honestly, is there a good time for the Imperial MC to start a family? There is always some catastrophe going on. Perhaps when Cytharat notices he is pregnant, he is very worried the Imperial MC will be unhappy because of it, but it turns out the Imperial MC still wants the child very much.

Very bad timing would be if Cytharat is pregnant when the Imperial MC gets frozen, or finds out shortly after he was frozen. The reunion (plus Imperial MC meeting his child) would be great to see.

Pregnancy - Difficult

Cytharat tries not to let his pregnancy slow him down, but he gets unlucky and has a lot of complications (however, I would like for the child to be okay, even if there is a miscarriage scare). The Imperial MC makes it clear to him he does not expect for him to do a hundred per cent of his duties while in this state.

Perhaps hybrid pregnancies between Red Sith and whatever the Imperial MC is just always turn out somewhat difficult. The Imperial MC might feel bad about this, but Cytharat thinks the struggle is worth it.

Childbirth

Cytharat expects to be doing this on his own because he knows he’s unlikely to be able to seem as put-together and dignified as he wants to. The Imperial MC convinces him to let him stay around.

Cytharat would actually like the Imperial MC’s support, but does not know how to ask. He’s a Sith Lord, after all, he should be able to do this by himself. The Imperial MC offers by himself.

Perhaps this happens in a very unlucky moment and the Imperial MC and Cytharat are actually alone when Cytharat goes into labour. The Imperial MC helps him, either in the traditional way (well, as traditional as an anal birth is; or perhaps Cytharat has a vagina, too, because A/B/O or Red Sith biology), or perhaps even by cutting Cytharat open and healing him if the Imperial MC happens to have Sith sorcery. Hell, maybe Cytharat is the one who knows healing spells and ends up healing himself from a make-shift Caesarean with the Imperial MC’s support, if the Imperial MC is not a Sith sorcerer?
