greygerbil on AO3, thank you for writing or drawing for me! Right from the start, I want to say you don’t have to do anything with my prompts, they’re just there in case you want some ideas. If it has my LBD with a partner and avoids my DNWs, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it! All ratings are great. I included a list of my general likes and smut likes which apply to all my requests. When it comes to kinks, you can include anything not listed under my DNWs.

Feel free to entirely erase the existence of canon relationships or break them up if they get in the way of the pairing you chose, whichever works best with what you’re trying to do.

Fic where the couple is not yet together but clearly in love, or on the road to getting together, or having their first time kissing/in bed together are great. However, so are established relationship fics. Whatever suits your ideas!

Couples are great, but I’m also here for triads if they are closed relationships. However, if you can stuff four, five, or six guys into one relationship and make it closed, I’m totally happy with that, too. If you’re wondering if a character is too out-of-left-field to pair them with my Little Black Dresses, don’t. I have OTPs who haven’t spoken to each other once in canon. I also love fics that expand on one-line side characters or just people with an interesting character design that stood silent in a corner that one time, so you really can’t go too obscure, either (if you’re picking an NPC or side-character who has few or no lines, I’d love it if you could link me to a screenshot of them and/or remind me where they showed up, though).

Some prompts may read like ideas for longer fics, but if you’re interested in them, please just grab a scene with the general idea out of the middle of those hypothetical longfics and write me that! I love fic of all length and don’t want anyone to feel like they have to go above the minimum word count. I just get excited writing prompts sometimes, heh.

Considering the number of canons I have where you slaughter your way through untold heaps of NPCs, I should also point out I generally have no problem with gore, blood, and graphic violence.

I’d very much like to see my requested pairings in your style, but if you have a specific stylistic idea, that’s always super fun, too.

Literally any motive that indicates it is shippy would always be appreciated, from hand-holding to explicit porn. I’m also always here for pictures of battle couples in action, if you enjoy fight scenes, or the characters doing simple, everyday things together and enjoying themselves. Yuri!!! on Ice: Georgi Popovich

Georgi is a great big dramatic mess and I love him. I really enjoy the contrast between his more stern personality outside of the rink (well... at least he seems to try to project that, who knows what’s going on in his head) and his all-in style of skating. I’m also very into the whole ~artiste~ part which is apparently quite important to him, since he goes so hard on the interpretation of his skates. For pairings, I definitely do like scenarios where Georgi doesn’t have experience with men yet, despite his age, since I enjoy stories of people exploring (parts of) their sexuality later in life than their teenage years. However, if you’d like to write him as having had boyfriends before, that is also totally cool and I’d be very interested which guys managed to stick it out with Georgi. Male canon characters are just as welcome as male OCs. For smut, I prefer bottom Georgi. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Georgi.

If Georgi is dating one of his skater colleagues, I’m always here for skating together, joint ballet training or other sorts of dancing (at a banquet). Just a scene of that alone would be great!

Georgi accidentally ends up in a gay club or tags along with some skater friends who want to go. Maybe to his own surprise, he makes a connection with someone. Is it one of the people there, or perhaps one of the people he came with?

Georgi does something uncharacteristically unromantic for him after his break-up with Anya and decides to go for a rebound in the hopes that it will make him feel better. It does, in a way, but now he can’t stop thinking about the man he was with...

If you want to go with established relationship fic, I would love for Georgi’s boyfriend to propose to him. I bet Georgi would be over the moon. Bonus to a boyfriend who tries to lean into his romantic side. Georgi proposing to someone, likely in an over-the-top and romantic manner, would also be great. Does it all work out as Georgi hoped for once or does the set-up go awry? I’m sure if his boyfriend still accepted even if it is a bit of a disaster, that would cheer him up a lot.

I figure Georgi is the one who usually does much of the pursuing, since he’s so intense. It would be interesting for him to end up in a situation where someone is actively trying to win him over for a change.

Georgi’s date/boyfriend playing on Georgi’s romantic side and just going all out – candlelight dinner, ice skating on a public rink in a winter park, rose petals on the bed, or anything else that would probably not work on most people but totally does on Georgi.

If Georgi gets a boyfriend/crush during the season, how does he mentally adjust Carabosse and The Sleeping Prince? Is the witch more of the seductive sort now, and is Georgi the one getting saved in the free skate? Or maybe he completely changes the stories he plays in his head?

I’d also love a fic where Georgi’s relationship development was coupled with the skates he chooses for next season. Does he adjust his song choice to his partner? What’s his creative process and what does his boyfriend/love interest think about it?

Or maybe Georgi has to retire due to injury or age at some point. What does he do afterwards? Ice shows? St. Petersburg State Ballet on Ice? Coaching? Maybe leave skating entirely for a new career, maybe some other artistic branch? (Perhaps he made his own over-the-top costumes and now does that professionally. Or, since Georgi’s Japanese VA sings the outro song, so I do love the headcanon that he’s a good singer.) If his boyfriend still skates, does Georgi enjoy travelling with him during the season? Or maybe his boyfriend is not a skater?

For Art: Any of the above scenarios that you might want to draw would be great. I also absolutely adore the weird aesthetic choices that happen all around Georgi. His costumes are obviously just amazing (both the glitter goth witch and Elsa’s jumpsuit), so I’d love to see those in a picture. Or maybe older/new ones in the same out-there vein? Especially if it’s of him at a competition, or doing an ice dance with his boyfriend. I also really like his ‘internal’ world we saw on the ice, so I’d really enjoy anything that shows him and his new boyfriend in one of his mental settings. Another thing I like about YoI in general is the use of social media, so a picture styled to look like an instagram post would be a lot of fun (Mila basically said Georgi tends to post lots of ‘kissy pics’ with his partner!).

Mass Effect: Andromeda: Evfra de Tershaav

Evfra is my favourite character in this game. I thoroughly enjoy how gruff he is and that his guarded personality makes him such an outlier amongst the angara. Yet, the man has dedicated his life to helping his people, shouldered a lot of responsibility, and the few times you manage to dig a little deeper in his dialogue, it’s clear that he cares deeply about them and even starts to accept the outsiders once they have proven themselves. Please give this grumpy guy with the good heart a boyfriend! Male canon characters are just as welcome as male OCs. For smut, I prefer bottom Evfra. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Evfra.

Evfra might not be the most approachable person, but people greatly respect him. Any of the canonical male angara we know as well as any male angara OC you find interesting would be a great choice to play off of him. How do they break through his tough shell?

Or maybe, unexpectedly, Evfra has been in a relationship with someone, canonical character or not, for a while now, but never really made it public? Would love to see everybody’s reactions when it eventually becomes clear.

Evfra lost his whole family – perhaps also a husband? It’s very unlikely, but maybe, through some great stroke of luck, that husband is still alive all those years later? But I’m sure this much time in a kett labour camp/wherever else he was stuck would have changed him and Evfra must be a much different person now, too, having worked his way up from what seems to have been obscurity to the leader of the Resistance. I would love to see them rekindling their relationship. (If they had other partners in the time in between, thinking the other was dead, I’d like for those not to have been serious relationships.)

Probably to Evfra’s own surprise, it’s one of the newcomers who manages to win his heart. Is it a contact he knows from Kadara, maybe one of the Pathfinders or the human Pathfinder’s companions, or someone else he gets to know on the Nexus?

Fleshing out the Multiplayer Classes into characters is also always fun. We only have their little wiki descriptions and a handful of voicelines. Who of that group might appeal to Evfra and vice versa? How does he get to know them better? Obviously most of those are APEX strike teams and thus Milky Way aliens, which might be interesting; but there were angaran characters, too, like the Insurgent and Exemplar.

I enjoy battle couples, or couples who otherwise work well together in some capacity if your chosen boyfriend for him isn’t into fighting.

However, I’d also enjoy Evfra getting to take a bit of time off for once with his lover. What do they do to relax?

Evfra and his boyfriend exploring one of the new places discovered through the Meridian.

Evfra working hard and falling sick/growing exhausted and his lover ushering him home and making him rest. If Evfra is sick, it would also be sweet if his lover hung around to care for him even with the angaran taboos around talking about sickness.

Evfra probably hasn’t been on an actual date in ages. I would love for someone to take him out to have a drink or private dinner or maybe watch a movie, just some normal stuff that Evfra probably did in the past but has basically forgotten about by this time.

Someone is openly flirting with Evfra, which throws him off a little. After all, most people treat him with anything from respect to fear and he’s not exactly opening himself up for contact. Still, we see Evfra doing well with people who put it out there (when the Pathfinder tells him the reason he should let them help is that they get things done, he says “Bold. A little arrogant. Like me.” and doesn’t seem annoyed by it). Maybe he actually agrees to a date, if only to test if the guy means it? And he does.

Evfra likes karaoke. This is actually canon (well, if Liam’s intel is good, anyway). Maybe his crush/boyfriend can coax him into leaving work be for a while and singing a few songs? Is there a lover’s duet? I don’t even mean this as a crackfic idea, I think it would be fun if Evfra got to explore a hobby again (I would also love him doing so with other hobbies you think he might have had before he spent all his time as a general).

For Art: Any of the above scenarios would be fun. I love the design of the angara in general and Evfra in particular, so chances are I’m already happy about any picture where Evfra appears. I would love to see a picture showing a small gesture of affection between his boyfriend and him – or, if his boyfriend is more obvious about his feelings, maybe a big one, like Evfra getting stealth-hugged from behind. I would also love to see Evfra and his lover on his home-world, whichever one of the three you want to give him, or in some lush newly discovered place. I’m also very into battle couples, so if his boyfriend is someone who fights, too, that would be a great picture. On the other hand, I would also like to see Evfra relax, so him sleeping against his boyfriend’s shoulder or just hanging out with him half-dressed in bed or eating breakfast or at a bar would be sweet.

Mass Effect Trilogy: Javik

Javik is possibly my favourite companion in ME3. He’s so abrasive, but the longer you talk to him, the more you realise that the glorious Prothean empire they taught them about when he was born was really already a long lost memory in ruins and he lived his whole life in a total dystopian nightmare, only to wake up to the next apocalypse. I’d love for him to get a partner with whom he can experience this new cycle. For decisions in the game, I also like Javik having touched the Echo Shard, but would not want him to go through with his plans to kill himself (but feel free to have him stop at the last possible moment). As for the Endings… whichever one you want! I’m not attached to any of them and I’d also be totally fine with modified endings or with the blunt idea of the Crucible just being a big Reaper-targeting gun, if that suits your story better. I am fond of Shepard surviving, but it’s not a must (unless you make him Javik’s LI and it’s set in that part of the timeline of the game because of my DNW). Male canon characters are just as welcome as male OCs. For smut, I prefer bottom Javik. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Javik.

Maybe Javik starts dating one of the people on Shepard’s ship, or Male Shepard himself. If so, that relationship could be developing during ME3. Perhaps they fall into bed together during the Citadel party, or maybe it’s something that develops from FWB to something more romantic? Perhaps it’s also a slower, more careful approach that directly blossoms into romance.

He could also get with one of the many NPCs or former companions. How does he meet them? How do they start taking an interest in each other?

A male drell (either a cured Thane, whatever other drell NPCs you can think of, or an OC) would be an interesting choice for Javik, especially if they follow the religion of the Enkindlers. Hell, if you can make it non-crackfic, I would also love to see him with a hanar (though I know they’re genderless, so not male, but definitely consider them an exception to the categories).

And, of course, OCs are always fun (and the same goes for NPCs of all these species that you found interesting). I could see him getting along with krogans (for the battle-ready nature) or turians (for their duty to their state) very well. The quarians pretty much always need all the help they can get, so maybe he ends up with them for some reason and meets a male quarian who interests him. And though he’s suspicious of AIs, perhaps he starts taking an interest in a specific geth unit (another exception to the male category, since they’re genderless, but the Reaper code changed them, so perhaps this unit considers itself male). Then, of course, there are humans. If Javik is stranded on Earth for a bit after the war, there’ll be an abundance of those taking an interest in him.

His boyfriend talking Javik out of killing himself to join his dead crew would be very appreciated. Similarly, Javik being quietly influenced to not do it by this new relationship and only revealing what he had originally planned later would also be interesting.

Now that the fighting is over, where does Javik go? He doesn’t have a home, probably not even any money. Maybe he can join one of the militaries, perhaps the one his boyfriend belongs to? Or maybe he really wants to do anything else but fighting so he takes another job and meets his boyfriend there. Or his boyfriend invites him to live with him. If his boyfriend is Shepard or someone else with their own ship, maybe that’s where he goes?

How does Javik settle into a world after war? He only knows peace from echo shards. It’s going to be difficult to handle. And what about his boyfriend? How much combat has he seen, what has he lost? Can they lean on each other for this?

Javik not knowing what to do with himself and helping with the rebuilding somewhere and meeting a random civilian and falling for them would be a sweet twist, too.

Maybe, when the galaxy has stabilised a little again, his boyfriend can take him sightseeing to all the major worlds or a place that is special to him.

Has Javik ever been on a date? Was that a thing Protheans did? Was it something they used to do, but didn’t when he lived because wasn’t the time or opportunity anymore? Javik getting to go on a normal date with drinks and a movie or something would be fun.

Different cultural courting strategies!

I feel like a species who communicates so much through touch would like cuddling/hugging/general contact. Now, Javik probably wouldn’t admit that, but him latching on to a boyfriend, or his boyfriend figuring out how touch-starved he is and helping out, would be very sweet.

For Art: An illustration of any of the above prompts would be great. I also like Javik’s design a lot and would love to see him out of armour – not for smut, necessarily, but I’m not saying no! Does he have wings like some of the Collectors? Also, Javik will eventually need to find a set of clothes that is not a bulky armour. Maybe he steals some from his boyfriend? He has a humanoid build, so it might work. Generally, I just want to see him (and his boyfriend) having a reason to switch into civvies, though. Generally, Javik and his boyfriend visiting the planets of the new species, maybe trying the food, seeing the sights? Or his boyfriend bringing him to a Prothean ruin? Or the boyfriend’s own home? Also would love fluff of the ‘Protheans are touchy-feely’ variety – maybe Javik is a cuddly sleeper?

Assassin’s Creed: Stentor & Apollodorus & Leofrith

Stentor
I love Stentor. He is so angry, so jealous of Alexios/Kassandra, so worried that he will not live up to what his father wants of him, and he’s trying so goddamn hard all the time. I have this headcanon that Stentor is gay because he’s such a perfect Spartan, but doesn’t seem to have the mandatory-by-thirty wife he would need in Sparta. However, I’m also totally fine with headcanons that he’s bisexual as long as he’s dating a man in this story. Male canon characters are just as welcome as male OCs. I prefer bottom Stentor for smut. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Stentor.

If M/M marriage is possible and the reason Stentor hasn’t married a woman is that he’s gay, he could have agreed to marry a man to further his father’s family and live according to Sparta’s tradition. Maybe Nikolaos even arranged a marriage, or the kings suggested one? There are several important Spartan generals we meet, such as Brasidas or Lysander. However, I’m also totally fine with any OCs or other NPCs or historical figures you may know from the period. How do they make their arranged marriage work?

If you wanna write Stentor in a romantic relationship with an OC or an NPC or Alexios/Deimos!Alexios, let your imagination run wild! As long as they have a chance at a happy ending, I’m down for pretty much anything. What sort of guy might sweep him off his feet, or at least get his attention? Is it a fellow soldier, or maybe a Spartan man taken out of the fight by an injury who now does other tasks than going to war? Maybe someone not Spartan altogether, but a local resistance fighter loyal to the Spartan cause or one of the non-Spartan inhabitants from Spartan lands, a perioikoi fighting alongside the Spartan warriors or perhaps doing a totally different job? Whatever you come up with would be fun! I’m fine with historically more accurate views on such a relationship or an AU where they could officially get married and stuff.

Did Stentor have an erastes? How did they meet and why did he pick Stentor? Was Nikolaos alright with the relationship or did he have to be convinced? Are they still secretly dating despite Stentor’s age now being too advanced for that to still be considered appropriate? (I would like it if Stentor was at least 18 years old when they started their thing, which would be kinda late historically, though not without precedent.) An OC would be great here, but I could also see Brasidas or some other Spartan NPCs we’ve met in that role.

Sort of a specific idea, but I like the idea of a male Cultist NPC or OC seducing Stentor to get him into the Cult or have him kill Alexios. However, if things went alright with Alexios and Nikolaos, Stentor won’t go for that. Another man fixing Stentor’s broken heart after he realises he’s been used (and in a ploy to get to Alexios, no less – as if his life doesn’t revolve around Alexios enough already) and probably dispatched of his ‘lover’ would be great.

I love me some battle couples, so if the man you choose for Stentor is a fighter as well, I would love to see them fighting together. If he’s not a fighter, maybe Stentor can heroically protect him from some danger?

Stentor seems like the kind of guy who basically lives in armour, which is what the Spartans want for their men, of course. Still, maybe his partner could make him relax.

If Stentor can’t marry his lover, perhaps they can still play at it. I’d love Stentor getting kidnapped (or kidnapping) his lover on their ‘wedding night’. I’d also totally want the ritual bridal kidnapping if they can officially get married, though!

For smut, I definitely just enjoy everything listed in my smut likes and would be happy to receive it. If you want a specific prompt, though, I like Stentor working through cultural hang-ups he has about bottoming. Maybe he hasn’t done it before meeting this man? Maybe it’s the first time he’s doing it with this partner? What (or who) convinced him to give it a try?

I requested Stentor under Assassin’s Creed ATM, which opens him up to dating a lot of dudes all across the Assassin’s Creed franchise via time travel shenanigans. My request here is that however that works, I would love for Stentor and his LI to be able to potentially stay together – whether the time travelling one can shift between timelines at will or was permanently thrown forwards or backwards somehow to end up in Stentor’s time, or that Stentor is stranded in someone else’s time. One idea I have is that this could happen after their untimely death (because it makes it a little less sad than just having them torn out of their ordinary life). Let’s say Alexios killed Nikolaos and Stentor consequently died fighting Alexios, but then wakes up in, for example, Ravensthorpe. Of course, this could also work the other way around, like, for example, a confused Haytham stumbling into Stentor’s war camp.

For Art: I would definitely love an illustration for any of the above ideas. I also would enjoy seeing Stentor and his boyfriend in ‘civvies’, so maybe in a chiton or tunic or something, just relaxing, or, if they both happen to be fighters, wrestling in nothing but underwear. However, I would also enjoy a picture of them dressed up properly on the battlefield together (or Stentor in full armour being admired by his civilian boyfriend). His partner surprise kissing or hugging grumpy Stentor would be very cute. I also like characters riding on the same horse, so that would be fun. I also like that little scar Stentor has on his lower lip – maybe a picture of his lover touching or kissing it?

Apollodorus
Apollodorus is such an interesting character with a strong sense of loyalty, but definitely with his own head on his shoulders, quite a bit of courage and a sense of humour. We didn’t see too much of him, but I would love a story about him getting a partner. That estate he has is awfully big for one person, anyway! Though speaking of that estate, if you go later in the storyline and make him survive, I would love to know if he can stay in Egypt or has to leave for fear of retaliation from Cleopatra’s new allies, or perhaps lies low with the Hidden Ones. If your story takes place towards the end of the game, please make him survive his encounter with the Order of the Ancients (narrowly so if you want). Male canon characters are just as welcome as male OCs. I prefer bottom Apollodorus for smut. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Apollodorus.

There aren’t super many named male characters in Origin that have an important role and don’t die via Bayek shortly after their introduction, but feel free to pick out a random NPC from a quest you liked! For some more concrete ideas, Bayek himself would be an obvious choice at a point where he has broken up with Aya, whether that happens at the same time as in the game or earlier. I really liked his and Apollodorus’s relationship, the teasing and easy rapport they had despite early mistrust. Or, if Bayek and Aya help Apollodorus after he is almost wounded by the Order of the Ancients, maybe they bring him to Siwa to recover and Apollodorus starts getting along with Bayek’s friend Hepzefa, who is also recovering from his (totally not fatal) wounds.

For OMCs, I’d love to see Apollodorus with someone who is middle-aged as he is, somewhat established in life and with a wealth of experiences of his own. However, I’d equally find it fun for a younger man, maybe someone in his twenties, to start flirting with Apollodorus. Maybe Apollodorus doesn’t take him too serious at first, thinking it’s just a crush, or he goes to bed with him but doesn’t think anything more serious will come of it, but feelings happen (or maybe were always there for the younger man). Of course, someone who is just comfortably a little younger or older than Apollodorus, but not really dramatically so, would also totally work, as would anything that doesn’t put any focus on an age gap!

Apollodorus handled Cleopatra’s network of informants and allies in Egypt, so I imagine he was close to a lot of interesting people. Maybe there is a man he comes to befriend and rely on, or who always makes time to flirt with Apollodorus when he drops in, and something more develops. I’d love to see the beginning of their relationship, a scene in the middle, but also what happens when Apollodorus starts questioning Cleopatra and her allies and his lover has to make a choice (and I would love it if he stayed loyal to Apollodorus, of course).

Apollodorus surviving and getting involved with the Hidden Ones would be great. I’m sure they could use someone who is as good at organising as Apollodorus seems to be, since he already was a central figure in Cleopatra’s network. Does the man who starts falling for him like him from the start or is he suspicious of his former connections? Maybe one of the Hidden Ones trying to figure out if Apollodorus is disloyal turns into him spending more time with him and not only learning that Apollodorus isn’t about to betray them, but that he likes Apollodorus?

Of course, it could also be a random civilian, Egyptian or Greek or otherwise, who has nothing to do with the political machinations Apollodorus is embroidered in. Does he end up involved in them, anyway? Does Apollodorus try to push him away when things get serious to protect him, but the man is actually quite determined and wants to help, or catches up with him again when Apollodorus is recovering from the attack by Cleopatra’s allies?

It could also be someone from Apollodorus’s past! I do love stories of old lovers who lost contact (much easier with basically no fast means of long-range communication) or were broken up by life (maybe his lover had to get married or move away?) meeting again years or even decades later and falling in love all over.

I requested Apollodorus under Assassin’s Creed ATM, which opens him up to dating a lot of dudes all across the Assassin’s Creed franchise via time travel shenanigans. My request here is that however that works, I would love for Apollodorus and his LI to be able to potentially stay together – whether the time travelling one can shift between timelines at will or was permanently thrown forwards or backwards somehow to end up in Apollodorus’s time, or that Apollodorus is stranded in someone else’s time. One idea I have is that this could happen after their untimely death (because it makes it a little less sad than just having them torn out of their ordinary life). He already has a canonical point of death after which he could wake up in, idk, Monteriggioni! Of course, this could also work the other way around, like, for example, a confused Brasidas ending up at Apollodorus’s estate.

For Art: I would definitely like an illustration for any of the above ideas. I love Apollodorus’s outfit from the game, but would also enjoy seeing him dressed up differently (in armour or fancy clothes) with his boyfriend dressed to match or watching him with admiration. No clothes (whether it be a smutty situation or just bathing together or sleeping on the bed on a hot night) are of course also an option! Apollodorus fighting alongside his lover if he’s a combatant, or protecting him if he is not, would be great. I’m also always here for kissing, hugging, smut, really any sort of physical intimacy.

Leofrith
I’ve always been one for the dutiful-until-death type of character and Leofrith fits that niche so perfectly that it was inevitable he’d end up on my request list. I also really liked that despite his loyalty, he was aware that Burgred was leading them on a bad path and trying to change his mind; loyal, but not blindly so is an even greater combination. He’s not in the game for very long, but I’d really love to see him interacting with all sorts of characters and to that end, I’d also like him to get a boyfriend! This is optional, but since Leofrith is such a tall, strong guy, I’d of course love an OMC or NPC with whom he has a bit of a size difference going on, since I’m always here for that (Eivor, of course, also works very well here). For smut, I prefer bottom Leofrith. If you include mpreg, I like pregnant Leofrith.

Has Leofrith made peace with his interest in men or is it something he struggles with, being a medieval Christian? I like both options here and would like to see how it shows in his relationship with a man. If he’s not quite comfortable with it yet, I’d love to see him work towards that, too.

Maybe Leofrith has stuck to women until now, but recently his whole life has fallen apart, anyway, and then he meets a man who breaks through his last defences.

So if Leofrith does go to Rome, he’s essentially Templar hunting, right? Maybe an Assassin finds him after he enacted revenge, or stops him before and tells him he’s about to step into a viper’s pit. The two of them start working together and get closer.

Leofrith seems like the type to have bonds with his men and generally the people who are Burgred’s retainers. Perhaps he even had a boyfriend among them? Maybe after his meeting with Eivor, they meet up again and his boyfriend is endlessly relieved to find him alive.

Is his boyfriend a fighter or not? If he is, I’d love to see them be a battle couple. If not, Leofrith defending the character (maybe even taking a few hits for him?) would also be great.

Leofrith is recuperating before making his trip to Rome, but to his surprise is approached by another lord of some fashion (NPC or OMC) who watched him and thinks he would make a good addition to his household. After a while of making sure he will not end up retainer to a traitor again, Leofrith agrees that he’ll work for him and they get closer.

Leofrith ends up recuperating in Ravensthorpe for some reason (maybe Ceolbert asked Eivor to take him in after the fight) and ends up forming a bond with Eivor or a male NPC/OMC there.

As a variation to the above, it’s a Danish or Norse NPC/OMC lord and Leofrith is a bit confused that they even want him, but is convinced of their good intentions eventually.

For the two prompts above: I imagine by this point Leofrith is more reluctant to swear another oath immediately and chain himself to someone who might not be worth it again, helping them accomplish goals that aren’t great. I’d love to see the moment where he turns around on this, convinced now that the lord will do much better than Burgred, and offers to swear fealty (being in love probably also helps...).

Leofrith stops on his way to the harbour to help some farmers/minor lord/someone else in Mercia who got hit badly in the war. Only, he keeps finding more things to do in their community and as the days pass he eventually realises he’s found something more important to do than hunt down Burgred – and he also met someone he likes.

If Leofrith has no experience with men, I’d love to see him explore what sex with men is like. Is his partner similarly inexperienced or does he show Leofrith the ropes?

If he does have experience with men, I’m also here for all manner of PWP or porn within plot.

As for an absolutely shameless smut prompt, I’d love to see Leofrith get bent over something and just taken until he’s barely able to speak. Maybe Leofrith also wants that, but considering he’s a gigantic warrior with a greatsword the size of a short human, it’s just not what people usually approach him for (he might also be somewhat embarrassed about wanting it in the first place). Cue a boyfriend who is very much here for that sort of thing.

If the character you pick or invent is also a fighter, I would love to see a picture of them back to back or otherwise fighting together; if not, perhaps Leofrith standing before/over him, ready to defend him? I’d also love just cute pictures. Leofrith’s character model was perpetually bruised and bloody, he deserves to have a bit of rest, maybe cuddling with his boyfriend, having supper with them, looking at the beautiful English/Italian/wherever he ends up landscape together.

Dragon Age (Video Games): Varric Tethras & Felix Alexius

I loved Varric in Dragon Age 2 and in Inquisition and I think his chemistry with all of the possible player characters was great, but he also had a lot of fun banter with other companions and even side characters. Besides, he is a personable guy and I could see any number of NPCs and OCs fall for him. Feel free to mention Bianca, of course, but I’d prefer for that relationship to be in the past and for the focus not to be on it, aside from informing Varric’s personality/view on love, of course. Male canon characters are just as welcome as male OCs. I prefer bottom Varric for smut. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Varric.

If Varric gets with one of the characters we meet in the games like the main character or companions or NPCs who show up regularly, how does their relationship develop during the game(s)? Would love a snapshot or a series of scenes or anything you want. Or maybe he also gets with a companion/main character who are not from the games he was in?

As a Viscount, Varric must meet a lot of interesting people – maybe some we know, maybe OCs, either would be fun. And perhaps ambitious families are courting him for marriage? I could see Varric mostly being amused by that, but perhaps there actually is one man that he can’t get out of his head.

Whether as a Viscount or earlier, Varric is also acquainted with a lot of shady types. I can’t see him going for someone who is actively cruel, but a roguish type of person or a mercenary who still keeps a bit of a conscience would totally work.

Varric has a lot on his plate: bestselling author, businessman, and Viscount of the city, maybe helping Hawke out on an adventure here and there, depending on choices made. Even if you try your best to ignore paperwork, he’s presumably still trying to do all of that well and that must be stressful. Perhaps someone can help him relax, whether in a sweet or smutty way? Or they help him out with his work (in whichever obvious or not-so-obvious way) and the two of them are adorably competent together?

Varric going on adventures with his boyfriend (or prospective boyfriend) is always fun. Battle couples are great!

Varric can actually switch from his crossbow in Inquisition and become a two-handed rogue (which I tend to think actually works better with his specialisation). Maybe the person who dates him is also the person who teaches him the new fighting style? Whether they’re themselves a two-handed rogue, or just help him learn to fight as one and play his opponent.

Varric is crushing hard on someone and as a result writes the first best-selling romance of his life (probably a rather unhappy one with lots of pining). His crush realises that the love interest in the book shares some traits with himself (even though Varric is likely too careful to write a self-insert main character, that would be too obvious). He decides to investigate...

I could see Varric thinking he’s not very good at this whole love business after his drawn-out, maybe, maybe not relationship with Bianca that went on for a long time and really did not go very well. Except suddenly there’s this man Varric is into and he’s very worried he’s going to screw that one up, too. Just anything about Varric’s inner life and thoughts while he’s in a romance would be great, or on the other hand the experience of his boyfriend who is learning more about Varric’s hang-ups.

I also generally love me some hurt/comfort, especially with a character like Varric, who is usually quiet about his own serious issues and likes to take care of other people. Whether it’s physical or emotional, someone giving Varric a helping hand would be awesome.

For Art: Any of the above scenarios would be amazing. If you enjoy that style, the tarot cards that Inquisition used are beautiful and anything of that sort would be great, too. Matching character cards for romance, maybe? Or a shared one? I also enjoy the blocky medieval-ish art style that the narrated cutscenes in Dragon Age 2 used, so that would also be great. However, it doesn’t have to be anything using these styles. I’d also really enjoy a picture of Varric and his boyfriend sparring or fighting together, playing Wicked Grace, being at an official Viscount function (formal wear!), or simply hanging out at home. If there is a height difference between them, let’s just be honest and say I’m into that, so emphasising that visually would be great.

Felix Alexius
Felix didn’t have a lot of screentime, but he’s still one of my favourite characters in the series – how well he handled the knowledge of his own oncoming death, that he was willing to stand up to his father even to his detriment, his calm sweetness. I would love to know what it was like for him growing up as basically-not-a-mage, but I’m also very here for an AU where he survives and interacts more with the Tevinter revolutionaries and/or the Inquisition. Since I’m not into character death, I’d prefer if the fic wasn’t all about the tragedy of Felix’s looming demise or about said death. However, if you do decide to save him somehow, feel free to include all the angst about his (soon to be averted) death! I just don’t like it if the death actually follows. Male canon characters are just as welcome as male OCs. I prefer bottom Felix for smut. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Felix.

It would be interesting if Felix could have been one of the people who joined you at Skyhold. I’d love to have seen him interact with the companions, advisors, NPCs – and date one of them in the end, or the Inquisitor himself.

Similarly, I’d also love for Felix to meet and date someone from any of the other games. I’m sure there are fascinating possibilities. How would they react to a kindly Tevinter non-mage? How does he connect to them?

If you want to go prequel, Dorian would always be a great option (also for Felix-survives fic, of course), as would any number of male Tevinter OCs. If Felix survives, he could also come back to that lover and have a sweet reunion! Maybe he even broke up with his boyfriend when he contracted the blight because he didn’t want them to suffer through his illness and death, but now they rekindle their romance?

Felix has difficult standing back in Tevinter, being non-magic, now with his father officially disowned, and so on. However, he is also quite a likable man and it’s indicated he has some political savvy by Dorian, considering how quickly he got the high and mighties together to listen to him before his death. If he survives and joins Dorian’s revolution, it would be fun to have a high Tevinter heir stand at their doorstep one day. He’s definitely seriously interested in their cause, it’s just he may also have more than a passing interest in Felix (and perhaps had for years, but never dared to buck convention like Dorian, or simply wasn’t sure how to approach Felix).

OCs and NPCs from the Inquisition or Felix’s time in Orlais are also very much encouraged. Maybe Felix had a little adventure at the university and they meet again?

I would love to know Dorian’s commentary on Felix’s new partner (well, unless he is the partner... but even then he’ll still have something to say about the relationship). Everybody who dates Felix probably has to pass Dorian’s scrutiny.

Someone helping Felix out with the recovery and in the process getting to know him, and Felix returning the favour in some way when he has regained his strength, bringing them even closer.

Felix was tainted for either three or six years, depending on which wiki article you read, so maybe he didn’t go for physical relationships in that time because he was worried contact could pass on the taint; and I’m sure being that seriously sick isn’t exactly great for the libido, anyway. Would be fun to see him rediscovering sex. Has his body changed from the taint or the cure? Can he eventually bounce back or are there irreversible marks? (Adjacent idea: Maybe he was a late bloomer and hadn’t had sex yet, and then couldn’t, and so he finds himself at the end of his twenties/in his early thirties still a virgin. Who takes the v-card?)

Felix getting to be a math nerd with someone who understands, or who just likes his enthusiasm (I find people who genuinely care about something are almost always interesting), and is themselves very interested in some other nerdy topic.

Maybe when Felix is recovered some, he decides that he would like to learn to fight a little bit? I’m sure the fact that he could not defend himself and his mom must still sting somehow. He’ll never be a great mage, but maybe he can learn to be decent with traditional weapons? And maybe he gets a little closer to the person who helps him out with practice, too.

Felix finding his niche at the Inquisition. He’s good with numbers, maybe he can help Josephine balance the books? But whatever else you can come up with would be fun, too! And maybe it gets him closer to his love interest?

I’d love to see Felix join Dorian’s revolution back home and becoming a power player despite his lack of magic and father’s disgrace – and with a boyfriend at his side. Or maybe this behaviour is exactly what gets him his admirer?

For Art: Any of the above scenarios would be amazing. If you enjoy that style, the tarot cards that Inquisition used are beautiful and anything of that sort would be great, too. Star Wars: The Old Republic: Cytharat

I love Cytharat! I’m very much into the noble, polite, upstanding kind of Sith and his romance was very cute – but way too short. Please fix it for me! I would love to see Cytharat develop a relationship with someone and generally also learn more about who Cytharat is aside from a Lord who was disgraced by association with his master (or perhaps he actually did do a lot more than that for Darth Malgus’s rebellion, either out of loyalty or because he believed in his cause? It’s never made quite clear, which is interesting). I would also love for him to find a place in the Eternal Throne part of the timeline and beyond. Male canon characters are just as welcome as male OCs. For smut, I prefer bottom Cytharat. For mpreg, I prefer pregnant Cytharat.

Male Imperial Player Characters of any kind would of course be great for Cytharat, but Male Republic Player Characters might also be fun, especially if Cytharat is perhaps somewhat disillusioned with the Sith for some reason. They made everybody else and their grandma a companion in the KotFE/KotET era, Cytharat should definitely get a chance to join the Alliance. Or, if he’s there, maybe he meets one of the other companions/NPCs and gets with them?

Feel free to also throw him together with people he did or might have known: Darth Malgus, Darth Marr, Darth Vowrawn, and so on. Malgus is back now, so maybe he calls on his old acolyte (or old lover)?

However, I’m also here for OCs. Maybe someone he meets when he recovers or when he returns to Makeb? Or maybe the Sith brass still doesn’t trust him and throws him in the middle of some losing battle that he’s supposed to turn around (or perish in, they don’t care) and he gets to know one of the Imperial Army soldiers or loyalist civilians very well? He could also meet OCs of any sort with the Alliance.

Generally, we didn’t see that much of Cytharat. What does he do in his free time? What are his passions? He seems very dutiful, so maybe his boyfriend has to nudge him to let loose every once in a while?

Cytharat does say that you ‘fought as one’ in his e-mail when you romanced him, but we don’t actually ever fight next to him. What a missed opportunity! What kind of fighter is he? I would love to see him doing the battle couple thing with his crush/boyfriend, or protecting them in a fight if the man is not a fighter.

Now that Cytharat seems to have worked his way up from total disgrace, what are his plans? He seemed a little too honourable for the eternal competition of backstabbing one-ups that happens in the heart of Dromund Kaas. Maybe he imagined a military career for himself? Or leading an outpost on a newly settled world somewhere? Something totally different? Can his boyfriend help him achieve his plans, or does Cytharat maybe meet him while trying to get there?

I feel like Cytharat has just a little bit of a cheeky side, with the way he was grinning and joking about coming to Makeb for a kiss while hanging over a balustrade half-dead. Would love to see that peeking through his good manners a little more often, maybe when he gets comfortable with someone.

I’m always here for some hurt/comfort, whether emotional or physical, so someone helping Cytharat through some traumatic event or even just a really big battlefield wound would be great. Cytharat taking a hit for his lover is also always appreciated!

For Art: Any of the above scenarios would be awesome. I also just love Cytharat’s character design, so anything where he is on full display with his lover would make me happy. I would love to see him in traditional/formal Red Sith clothing (I don’t know if something like that exist, but feel free to make up something cool) with his boyfriend also dressed up. On the other hand, Cytharat looking dishevelled after a fight or sex or simply because he was caught in a storm or just stumbled out of bed would be great, too, maybe with an interested boyfriend looking on? As always, I’m also happy for any pictures displaying physical affection of any sort, so that would be great.

Overwatch: Tekhartha Zenyatta & Maximilien

Tekhartha Zenyatta
Zenyatta is a great character and I liked him from the second I started playing Overwatch. His zen energy and the wisdom he has contrast nicely with that dry humour that sometimes shines through. I’m also quite fascinated that despite his whole calm monk persona, he has actually rejected the current direction that the Shambali are going in and holds to his own idea of healing by connecting on an interpersonal level. He definitely has a head of his own and I could see many characters being fascinated with him. Male canon characters are just as welcome as male OCs. For smut, I prefer bottom Zenyatta.

Zenyatta will probably be part of the Overwatch Recall following Genji, so any of the male characters and NPCs he might meet there would be a great choice (as would Genji himself be). However, I’m also here for him helping any member of Talon or Null Sector who might be looking for redemption and perhaps falling in love in the process, be they known characters or OCs.

Zenyatta could also, of course, perhaps have a boyfriend among the Shambali (human or omnic) or be with Mondatta (in that case, it would be great if the story were a prequel or Mondatta survived the assassination somehow). How did they deal with his split from the Shambali? Does his boyfriend maybe join him eventually, or does Zenyatta visit him?

Zenyatta will also have met a lot of interesting humans and omnics on his travels, so an NPC or OC would be very fun here. Maybe he met someone who was sceptical about omnics and Zenyatta was a little too good at convincing him that omnics can be likable? Maybe there was someone who he was teaching or generally helping out of a hole and who fell for him? But I’d also find it interesting if Zenyatta falls for someone who is themselves grounded and who doesn’t need Zenyatta’s help, but still enjoys his presence regardless.

I also like skin-based AUs. I always think that the black-and-green Zenyatta recolour looks so edgy he could have been part of Blackwatch with that. Then there are the skins that seem to tell a story, like Junkenstein’s The Monk or Sanzang. Who could these alternate universe Zenyattas have met and fallen in love with?

Zenyatta fighting alongside a lover would be great. He’s a healer with damn good damage output, so he can protect people in many different ways (don’t have to heal your team if all the enemies are down taps forehead), but he’s also slow-moving without an escape, so he’s a bit of a glass cannon and might need help sometimes. Sparring would also be fun here.

Zenyatta is still relatively young and has been a monk for a significant chunk of his life. Maybe he has never been in love before and/or never used the parts and programs of him meant for sexual intercourse? Or maybe he needs to find mods to even engage in sex when he’s starting his new relationship. I would love to see him going through all these new experiences with his boyfriend. I like human-ish genitalia for Zenyatta (intersex, female or male, or something that has similar functions but looks a bit different, maybe like simple sex toys, considering his model is so basic). However, I also really enjoy that Zenyatta is such a standard model with wires showing and made of probably (or not?) unfeeling, scratched-up metal in many parts, so wire play and all that could be really fun!

Generally, I would love to read about Zenyatta’s adventure out there in the world with his boyfriend tagging along. Or maybe Zenyatta settles down with his boyfriend and starts becoming part of a community, maybe has his little Shambali shrine there to talk to people? Both would be really interesting.

I love me some hurt/comfort, so Zenyatta’s boyfriend helping him after an emotional or physical blow would be great.

For Art: Any of the above scenarios would be a lot of fun. I’m also here for any picture with physical intimacy. Maybe a Transcendence multi-arm hug or Zenyatta healing a wounded boyfriend with his golden orb? Someone kissing Zenyatta’s face plate? And if his boyfriend is also an omnic, how do they do show each other physical affection? For someone helping wounded Zenyatta, a more visceral idea might be his boyfriend assisting him in attaching replacement parts or wires. I would also like to see Zenyatta in other clothes – hanging out with his boyfriend in casual clothes, going somewhere with his lover in formal wear (whether a suit or something suited to a Nepalese monk, since that seems to be his general character design inspiration, or Mondatta-style Shambali robes), hell, even wearing something skimpy for his lover.

Maximilien
Maximilien is such an interesting character to me. I liked him in the comic and loved him at ‘the prize of loyalty is always changing’ in the Storm Rising trailer – cynical chaos capitalism at its worst. How does an omnic end up this jaded (I’m open to darker answers to this question, btw, so if you want to make him an omnic who was severely mistreated by his masters or a sexbot forced to work in prostitution, you can ignore the noncon DNW for that)? What are his goals? Money for money’s sake will get boring eventually, but he doesn’t seem to want Doomfist’s total war between humans and omnics, either. He’s certainly got his own plans for Talon, but we’ve seen him at a crossroads in the Overwatch 2 trailer (‘I can’t do this’). I’d love it if you get him with someone he might have a future with – whether that means being bad guys together, or Maximilien turning light side and perhaps putting his money behind Overwatch or finding some other, third way. Generally, I just want him to have to experience falling in love and realising he has a connection he wouldn’t give up for favours nor money and see how that shakes his world view. Male canon characters are just as welcome as male OCs. For smut, I prefer bottom Maximilien.

Doomfist and Reaper are in Talon, but so are a lot of interesting potential OCs (Talon militia leaders, that Null Sector guy, and there’s still some empty spots on the council, too, if the Masquerade comic is any indication), so these people would all definitely be fun to see with Maximilien.

Overwatch has potential matches, too! Which characters would give Maximilien on a redemption arc a chance? Maybe men who themselves have a past that is not fully squeaky-clean, like Hanzo, McCree, or Baptiste? Or, to everyone’s surprise, it’s someone completely unexpected?

Maybe the person is totally out of left field – not a powerful hero or villain, but some rando Talon soldier or a guest at his casino or even a civilian who has no prior connection to him at all. How do they meet? Is it random chance, or do they maybe help Maximilien out of a bad situation (he gets hit by a car and a man who stays nearby to wait for the ambulance gets to talking to him, or something along those lines)?

I could see Maximilien going for sugar baby-esque partners rather than boyfriends to keep an emotional distance. Then one of these arrangements spirals into a real connection.

And then there’s guys where trying to keep a distance and/or making them sugar babies won’t work from the start, like probably most of the named playable characters. How does Maximilien orient himself in these relationships? How does he try and fail to keep them at arm’s length?

I live for seeing emotionally isolated, jaded characters like Maximilien getting into situations (via physical or emotional damage) where they have to rely on the goodwill of other people and getting their world rocked by the fact that there are some who honestly offer their help without expecting something in return. Maybe a man who does something like that for him would really fascinate Maximilien?

Maximilien has subtly tried to get rid of his lover/trying to find his bad side by baiting him with everything he can think of: money, power, belongings, connections. His lover never goes for it and pretty much just seems to want Maximilien. Maximilien is terrified because heaven knows he’s too in love to break up himself and that’s not a situation he wanted to end up in.

Maximilien is not much of a fighter, but maybe he can do something else in a scuffle (play decoy, get the ship ready)? Would also be here for a more combat-ready character protecting him. Or maybe Maximilien actually does know his way around a gun?

For a villain power couple, I’d love the two of them turning Talon (or whatever other organisation they set up) to their own devices.

If Maximilien has a redemption arc (either with a light side boyfriend, or a villain boyfriend who also does a heel-face turn), I would really love to see him grow into his new role alongside his crush/partner.

For smut, I would love to see what Maximilien has installed. He’s obviously a high class model, so I doubt he would skimp in that department either. Human-ish genitalia (intersex, female or male) is totally great, but I also enjoy wire play and related robot sex kinks.

For Art: Any of the above scenarios would be great. I also love Maximilien’s impeccable suits and would like to see him either next to a boyfriend also dressed up or someone who has a completely opposite look. On the other hand, I also always enjoy characters who never have a cuff link out of place looking messed up, so Maximilien and his boyfriend ruffled after a fire-fight or a tryst or even just a walk through a storm would be great, too. Maximilien wearing other sorts of high-class clothing around his boyfriend would also be cool (nice underwear or lingerie, a light summer suit). Or maybe someone stuffs him into a regular sweater and jeans? Aside from fashion choices, I’d also love to see Maximilien and his lover in his casino.

Vampyr: Sean Hampton

Sean is such a great character and I just really need to know more about him, his dealings with both his flocks, the residents of the East End Docks, other vampires, and of course potential love interests he might meet on the way, since there’s just so much we only learned about him in hints and asides. It’s clear he’s touched the lives of many people around him and it would be great to see that elaborated on, and for him to find someone who could make him happy and vice versa. Male canon characters are just as welcome as male OCs. For smut, I prefer bottom Sean. For mpreg, I like pregnant Sean.

Sean paired with any of the other major side characters, Jonathan himself, or one of the other minor characters he knows or hasn’t had a chance to meet yet would be interesting! I think Sean can make a connection to a great many people, even the sort who might dismiss him at first glance.

Maybe Sean could be paired with an OC from his human flock? What kind of person are they? Gang member trying to go legit, or maybe a union guy? A random, mysterious drifter? Maybe someone he helped years ago and who returns after getting back on his feet to thank him? Could be pre-game if you’re so inclined, but if it’s post-game, is his boyfriend/crush also drawn into the vampire chaos? Does he maybe get turned into an Ekon or other type of vampire? If he’s a Skal, does Sean beg Jonathan to cure him, too, before he turns into a monster?

It would also be interesting to see another vampire take an interest in Sean. Are there other cured Skals than him and Bridget and one of them meets Sean? Maybe a Vulkod who grows closer to Sean because he can help keep his temper/urges at bay? An Ekon who is fascinated with Sean? How do they earn his trust and he theirs? Is the other vampire also only recently turned, or older, or maybe truly ancient?

It’d be cool if a well-meaning vampire with some influence/money started courting Sean. That way, he would have someone who could subtly help him with his flock eventually by becoming a benefactor. Or maybe the donations come first because the vampire is not the sort to push to the foreground, but Sean tracks him down.

How does Sean feel about falling in love with a man? I can’t really see him judging other people for homosexuality, even with the times being what they are, but people often are contradictory in their own views and his past might make it difficult to accept that for himself. Or does the general fact that he wants a relationship and sex at all conflict with his view of himself as a man of God? On the other hand, he is not a priest, so it’s not forbidden to him. Still, lust is viewed unfavourably by the church. Does he have any voluntary experience with sex at all or not?

Is the man Sean helps someone who needs his spiritual guidance or other help? How can Sean assist them and how does it turn into more than that? Or maybe it’s someone who doesn’t really need any help at all, but who still enjoys spending time with Sean. That could be a nice change of pace for him, too.

Sean has quite the burden on his shoulders – one he loves, I’m sure, but that didn’t get easier with the whole Skal thing on top. Someone to support him would surely be appreciated.

Sean is reportedly always at the shelter helping people. Perhaps a boyfriend could convince him to carve a couple hours out of his night to go on a date.

A proposal or marriage would be sweet – even if they can’t make it official, I’m sure Mr. Sean “zombie vampires are also creatures of the Lord” Hampton would be fine just marrying under the eyes of God.

Fight scenes are always cool. Sean isn’t a fighter, but he turns into a pretty mean mini boss if you let him deteriorate, so he definitely got a power upgrade. Maybe he can protect his boyfriend? Or maybe his boyfriend is the stronger one of the two? Or they fight together!

This is such a basic prompt, but I just want to see Sean have some fun, maybe even... laugh or something. Get a hug or a kiss! Like pretty much everybody in the game, he has such a bad time of it, he deserves some fluff.

If Sean is with a vampire, I’d also love established relationship fic that flashes forward some decades and shows them moving around and living their lives in a different time period.

For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great. I also think Sean has great character design – the rosary, the ill-fitting suit, the slightly dishevelled look, it’s understated and so on point –, so I’d definitely love to see him together with his boyfriend. Skal Sean would be great, too, because those eyes. Also, I just love how wounded and vulnerable the cured Skals look. I would love to see some gesture of affection between him and his boyfriend, too, maybe a kiss or just a touch of their hands, or even a big hug. If Sean is with a vampire, I would also love to see them with updated character design(s) down the road in another time period.

SK8 the Infinity: Kojiro Nanjo | Joe

I liked Kojiro from the start with his confident, friendly attitude and sunny smile and I really would like to see him bounce off other characters in a relationship and explore their dynamics. Since the amount of named, adult males with any significant amount of screentime in this show is actually quite small, I gave some individual prompts for each beneath. However, I’d also be very happy with a complete OMC or an ascended extra, some background character without a line from “S” or some other background shot that you thought included a cool character design. Generally, I prefer fic set when Kojiro is an adult (whether at the time of the show, or before, or after) to high school-age fic, but flashbacks to school are totally fine. For smut, I prefer bottom Kojiro. For mpreg, I like pregnant Kojiro.

Kaoru is, of course, always a good choice. The two bicker like an old married couple, but obviously care for each other a lot. Have they been together for a long time or did it take them way too many years to figure out they want each other? Which one of them makes the first step? Did they slowly slide from friends with benefits to romance, or does their relationship start out with a big love declaration?

The show focused on the relationship between Kaoru and Ainosuke, but I would really like to know what Kojiro felt towards him. Did he admire him just as much or had a crush on him, but felt like Ainosuke had a greater connection to Kaoru? Maybe after they finished school, before Ainosuke went to America, there was a short fling? Now that Ainosuke is back and has basically confirmed that he finds both of them too boring to consider, Kojiro pushes away the idea of there being any chance once again, but perhaps they connect on a new level now that Ainosuke is trying to gather a new outlook on life, which an easy-going, open person like Kojiro might be able to help with.

I also like the idea of Tadashi/Kojiro. Maybe in the time after high school, while Kaoru and Ainosuke were together, or even if they pick up a relationship later, Tadashi and Kojiro consider themselves a “pair the spares” sort of couple who mostly hang out because they both can’t be with the one they really want. However, over time they realise genuinely fell in love. Do they manage to admit as much? However, I could also see this as Kojiro just getting closer to Ainosuke’s assistant mostly because he thinks the guy deserves a break every once in a while and because he’s just a naturally people-friendly person, and him and Tadashi strike up a friendship and more in the process.

The Kaoru/Ainosuke/Kojiro or Ainosuke/Tadashi/Kojiro threesomes are, of course, an option as well and Kaoru/Ainosuke/Tadashi/Kojiro is definitely also a possibility! I would be very interested to see them rekindle or pick up a romance now that they are all older (if, in some cases, not wiser).

There’s also Hiromi, of course! I could definitely see a situation where Hiromi thinks he finds Kojiro so fascinating because Kojiro gets all the girls, but eventually has to admit to himself that, no, he just actually likes Kojiro; or he realises from the first that he has a crush, but doesn’t know what to do about it. Or maybe it’s Kojiro who starts to realise he likes Hiromi as more than a friend? Either way, food-and/or-flower-based courtship would be very cute here, as would it be to see them skateboarding together.

Shokichi would also be a great choice, since they’re both quite friendly, laid-back people. I could see Kojiro shopping at Dope Sketch every once in a while or Oka ending up in his restaurant and the two of them just striking up a friendship that way. Maybe they already know each other (Shokichi seemed to know of him, anyway), or maybe it’s a connection that comes about through Reki and Langa. I would also love to see them skateboarding together, even if Shokichi is not on Kojiro’s level, because I feel like they would still have a lot of fun.

As for OMCs, someone from “S” would be very interesting, of course. Maybe it’s someone who feels like he has to impress Kojiro with his skill and actually manages to? Or it’s someone who doesn’t quite have the skill/talent to pull it off (in general, or maybe just not yet) and ends up hurting himself, but does get Kojiro’s attention because he helps him to the hospital/patches him up, so it sort of kinda worked, even if the outcome includes bruised pride.

However, I’d also find it fun if he dates someone who doesn’t have anything to do with skating. Maybe it’s another chef? It seems his restaurant could be popular with businessmen, so maybe one of them keeps coming for more than the pizza? Or it’s a friends-with-benefits thing that turns into more, or a meet-cute with a neighbour?

I’m also always a sucker for love interests returning and people rekindling old relationships after years apart and falling in love all over again. Maybe during his time training in Italy or going to culinary school in wherever he went, Kojiro had a passionate romance with someone local, but they broke up when Kojiro had to return home or for some other reason. Then, years later, the OMC moves to Okinawa for work/family reasons and the two run into each other again.

Since I’m a bara fan, it would be fun for Kojiro to meet someone who has a frame similar to his own or even bigger (the latter probably not being something he sees very often). However, I also enjoy shorter/leaner tops a lot, so generally and especially if you plan to write something that involves smut with an OMC, I’d be 100% down for a smaller guy, too (in general, size differences, be they of build or height, are always great).

Speaking of smut, that’s also something I would love to see explored! Anything relating to my general smut likes would be fun. For Kojiro, I’d also enjoy a story about him bottoming for the first time – maybe he hasn’t done it before because he’s never been with a man, maybe he was just never approached that way because people have him pegged a top but he’s always wanted to give it a try, or maybe he’s a bit insecure about wanting it or didn’t think he would like it and his boyfriend is the one to show him that it can be fun.

This is a very simple prompt, but Kojiro cooking for his lover(s) would always be appreciated.

For any serious lover Kojiro has (if it is not Kaoru himself), I’m sure Kaoru would run a pretty thorough evaluation, even if he pretends not to care who his best friend is dating. Some poor OMC or other known characters being subjected to that would be very fun. If this is set after the series, the others of the ragtag group might want to be introduced, too – even Ainosuke if he somehow becomes part of the group. I’m sure especially to an outsider who didn’t know of “S” until now, Kojiro’s friend circle could be A Lot (but maybe they find a way to fit in).

Speaking of dating men, we don’t see Kojiro doing that in the show. Is he aware that he’s bisexual and has dated/slept with men? Does he know he likes men, but for one reason or another never did anything about it, or is it something he’s always sort of pushed away? I’m fine with internalised homophobia here, though I wouldn’t want him portrayed as abusive towards other LBGT+ people, just maybe not quite at peace with himself yet and working on that.

For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great. If Kojiro’s boyfriend skates, I would love to see the two of them in their “S” outfits or just in a skate park. If he doesn’t, maybe he still likes to watch Kojiro? Kojiro sharing a meal with his boyfriend that he cooked for him, or having him taste some of his food, would also be great. I’d also like to see them hanging out at the beach, at an onsen, or at a bar, or otherwise having a good time. Seeing Kojiro in traditional Japanese clothing or in a nice suit with his boyfriend dressed to match, or admiring Kojiro, would be fun, too.

Hades: Charon & Chaos

Chaos
Chaos is such a strange entity – unsurprisingly, they are the embodiment of primordial chaos, after all – and I enjoy them very much in this game. Considering Zagreus ends a long period of isolation for them, I would really love to see them starting to enjoy the company of others – be it Zagreus himself or another man who eventually ends up down in Chaos’s realm, or meets Chaos if/when they manage to find a way to move outside without tearing reality apart at the seams.

For pregnancy, I like pregnant Chaos, and for smut I prefer bottom Chaos – that is if you want Chaos assuming some sort of human (or human-ish) body for these purposes, since from the waist down Chaos seems to be mostly half-formed faces so far (I’m also fine with any genitalia for Chaos). I’d also be totally down for weird cosmic sex that escapes human experience, though, where Chaos is the whole of their realm, or their partner gets to exploring a body that is mostly composed of unmade reality pieces, as long as they both still get sexual pleasure out of it. Something in between of those two options would also be fun! As a sidenote, I really enjoy size differences, so feel free to make Chaos as big as the other “normal” gods are, or even bigger, considering they’re quite the singular being (with perhaps the power to adjust their size somewhat if need be for smut purposes).

Chaos has interesting comments on the Olympians. For example, they mention that Ares still worships them, but doesn’t seem to understand them very well, so that could definitely be explored further. They seem to find Dionysus’s role as the god of madness very interesting, too, and Dionysus is so laid back that I can see him even getting along with someone as unusual as Chaos. They also make the observation that the Olympians seem to have forgotten they exist, which I found really fun in a vaguely threatening way (though Chaos does not seem the type to openly cause trouble), so it would be interesting to see some of the more boastful Olympians interact with them and be reminded that this powerful force is still in some way in the world (and perhaps find themselves drawn to it).

Then there is the population of the Underworld. Be it chthonic gods (present in game or otherwise), various others (like Skelly), or shades, it would be fun to see them get to know this even older, even deeper presence and for one (or two...) to develop a fascination. When it comes to OMCs who are shades, I prefer the human-looking versions like Achilles to the more blobby, cute-looking or monstrous type of shape. However, having a more detailed, more human version of one of the common enemy type shades would also be fun.

I’m also open to gods and mythological figures we don’t see in game, but that might make a very fun addition. For example, it’s not difficult to see where Eros and Chaos might intersect, and maybe they explore the confusing, exhilarating possibilities of love together.

Zagreus is an option, of course. I loved the slow development of their relationship in game and would be very interested to see it taken further. How does one court a primordial chaos god, anyway? Maybe more ambrosia will do the trick? Or Zagreus thinks of something different.

If the OMC still is or was human relatively recently, meeting Chaos would probably be quite the trip. What do they think of them? I would love it if there was some awe and affection mixed into somewhat understandable terror.

Once Zagreus has opened up Chaos to contact to the outside world, it would also be cute if Chaos somehow gained a human lover, perhaps someone they talk to through a lost Chaos artefact. When this human dies, by accident, injury, or eventually of old age, Chaos asks they their grandsons to inform them of his arrival so that Chaos can meet his lover in person.

What would constitute courting on Chaos’s behalf? Maybe they shape a little part of their world in a way that they hope will please the person they like? Maybe they create something special for them?

Smut is always fun, too. Does Chaos have any experience with it? Their contact to other beings who were not their children seems to have been very limited if not non-existent, so perhaps there was just no opportunity, or they haven’t thought about it. Then again, they did probably create the systems necessary for sex in other creatures, so maybe they would like to try it out with their lover? Or they have had opportunity before and would like to repeat it? Or it’s their lover who brings it up and Chaos decides that it’s an interesting proposition?

For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great. Involving Chaos has huge potential for surreal and trippy pictures, so if you want to lean into that, that would be fun. However, I would also enjoy a more traditional shippy picture of Chaos kissing, cuddling, or embracing their lover (or sleeping with him if you would like to go down the route of smut). Chaos pressing themselves into a more compact, travel-sized form to visit earth, Hades, or Olympus with their lover would also be fun, just to see them outside of their element for once.

Charon
Charon is such a mysterious figure, considering we can only ever infer what he actually says in the game. Aside from Hermes, Zagreus and Skelly, everybody else seems to find him somewhat creepy and doesn’t fully get what he’s about. I always wondered if Charon is glad to be left alone or if he just finds it very hard to make connections for many obvious reasons, or if it’s maybe a combination of both. Whatever the case, I would love for him to get the chance to have a boyfriend.

For smut, I prefer bottom Charon. If you include mpreg, I prefer pregnant Charon. Considering it’s not all that clear what is going on under Charon’s robes, feel free to interpret him to be basically just as human-looking as his brothers are, or make him a little more skeletal, or otherwise lean into the cryptid idea as long as he’s still somewhat humanoid.

If the Olympians visit regularly now, or maybe even while they still sneak boons for Zagreus to Charon, maybe one of them finds themselves interested. Ares seems generally fascinated with the chthonic gods, so I think he would eventually take a look at Charon, too, and maybe find something to enjoy. Dionysus is very laid-back, so perhaps he would try to talk to him for fun and then finds himself actually liking him. Poseidon can’t quite deny that Charon has some power relating to water, too, so maybe that’s why he wants to get to know him? Then, of course, there’s Hermes, who really needs no introduction to Charon anymore.

Down under, Charon could, of course, get to know Zagreus even better, strike up a closer connection with Skelly, or meet any number of shades, named or otherwise. When it comes to OMCs who are shades, I prefer the human-looking versions like Achilles to the more blobby, cute-looking or monstrous type of shape. However, having a more detailed, more human version of one of the common enemy type shades would also be fun.

Perhaps Charon has an OMC mortal lover who lives close to the Temple of Styx or visits there as often as he can. I would love to see one of those visits or their first meeting! Or, one day, Thanatos or Hermes stands on the banks with him and Charon realises it’s his time to bring him downstairs, which would surely be a bittersweet moment. Maybe Charon is worried that his human lover will be sad, but maybe the human is mostly happy that unlike many others who die, he definitely has something to look forward to as well.

Charon driving his lover around on his boat, maybe even up on the human world or in the parts of Hades that only he knows so they can have privacy, would be a great scene.

If Charon gave someone a gift, that would probably mean quite a lot, since he likes to hoard things. On the other hand, his partner/prospective partner might think that the gift he gives Charon will just disappear in the vast chambers where Charon keeps his wealth, but maybe, to his surprise, Charon actually keeps it on his person? Is that when his lover figures out Charon really likes him?

If you want to include smut, it would be interesting to know if Charon had lovers over the years or if his solitary status means he’s never had sex with anyone. Does the OMC introduce him to the concept? Is Charon surprised they even want to if his lover is more traditionally humanoid? However it goes, I would like it if Charon and his lover both enjoyed themselves!

For Art: Any of the above prompts would be great. Charon and his lover on Charon’s boat would obviously be a sweet motive, and I also like the contrast of Charon against the sunny backdrop we see right outside the Temple of Styx, so him hanging out with his lover (who may or may not fit in better, depending on who he is) would be fun, too. I’d also like a picture of a kiss (as much as Charon can kiss without lips), a hug, or smut if you want to go that direction – just something intimate of him and his partner. I would also love to see Charon subtly incorporating some visual marker of his lover in his clothes, some trinket or charm, for example.
